1201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 25, 2015, 09:56:57 PM
I don't follow GAW/Paycoin for anything other than the comedy gold and lulz, but what is the significance of owning all 15 prime controllers ?

Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of decentralization ? Was XPY never supposed to be decentralized to begin with ? Am I making a bad guess at what "prime controllers" are supposed to be ?

wow just wow. he just cant stop lying. time to dig archive.today link for the emails where he talks about this  Grin

edit: ahh here is one of the emails

Hammer time for all you assholes.
Our position regarding GAW and Paycoin. These unsupported "indisputable facts" versus the reality.

You're a funny guy. So what is your involvement with Paycoin ?

Assuming you are genuinely interested in "protecting crypto", what incentives have been offered for you to take this hysterically defensive position of GAW that flies in the face of conventional wisdom and experience documented in this thread ?

Good luck getting around the First Amendment !

"previously highly regarded supplier"

My sides are in orbit.

I've seen a lot of crazy shit in my time on these forums, but these Paycoiners and Garza Worshippers are quite possibly the most unbalanced, misguided, and ignorant marks ever.

How can they not realize it's a scam yet ?! ($20 floor ? puh-leeze...)

It's hard not to feel sorry for them.

Good grief.

Anyway we can add him to a bad twitter list or something?

I left the pool.
Eclipse and Slush is best from my point of view.

I would recommend against Eclipse. It is run and owned by Butterfly Labs. They have done a lot of harm to this community.

Please seek professional help at your soonest convenience.

I've seen a lot of kool-aid drinkers on these forums have their lives ruined by crypto-related scams, and the fact that you have not realized that you are participating in a scam is troubling to see.

For your daughters sake, please give some serious thought to your involvement with Paycoin, and how there might be a small chance that you're absolutely wrong about everything that you have been led to believe by Homero.

@ HG: I suspect that you have a drug problem. If not you are just naturally delusional. What I know for sure is that you are making posts on a public forum that any reasonably sane person would recognize as being insane. In case you are not aware of this, that means your children and of course their mother. What I suggest is that you imagine them reading what you are typing, because the reality of the situation is that they most likely will someday.

what may that "Situation" Be?   Did you report me to the FBI for running a ponzi that has no victims and has been dead for months?

Do you even know the standard before this would even make it to an agents desk?
Did you take into account there are no victims?  nobody who wants to bring legal charges on me?
Did you know this would be my First offence and would be a " Slap on the Wrist"

PS,  If 5 hour energy is a drug.... then yes,  Other then that ill pass any UT Hair sample you should chose

My daughter's 2 and furthermore i haven't said anything " Insane" like you claim,  Instead the exact opposite.   You are the one putting people's information out there and indirectly making Hints of threats?

Meanwhile you don't scare me,  Your nothing more then a nobody no more or less important then myself who wouldn't have the balls to approach me or my home.  And i think you know aswell as i do that if by some mirical you grew the balls to approach my family or home I would put a hole in your head without hesitation?  By all means that is no threat but a sincere warning

And that my fellow miners is the ONLY way to make profit in btcland, ripoff all the miners w/ a new project to drool over. Yay, for something else we all dont need.

How about we cut sidehack some slack for now, huh ?

I lost out on ROI, asked for compensation, was send 20 mBTC, some stickers and a t-shirt.

How many BTC were you able to mine with the stickers and t-shirt ?

It's good to be back Smiley Finally ditched ghash.io.

Go Team America !

EDIT: eleuthria, could you please check PM ?
1210  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: March 17, 2015, 07:50:19 PM
Yeah, looking at stats today, I think I'm going to bail on ghash.io tonight and return back to the venerable Guild mining for Team America.

Looking at the stats over the last two weeks vs BTCGuild, I can't understand why ghash.io is dramatically underpaying when it has ~+5PH more.

What are the odds of that happening ?!

EDIT: Done. Moved 15THs off ghash.io and moved it to BTCG. Buh bye ghash. It was nice while it lasted.

Maybe if you used emoticons in your professional lives more often you'd be less uptight.

emoticons professional

Especially when you're being bent over a barrel with pricing shenanigans, and ineffective responses to support tickets.
1212  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: March 17, 2015, 12:39:31 PM
Not forgetting their block withholding on a regular basis in an effort to increase their profits they claim not to be making...... Roll Eyes
Is there any discussion and proof of this somewhere ?

Something just feels "off" mining there over the last little while. Logically, I would just like to write it off to bad luck and DDoS, but I've seen these withholding rumors enough that it's gotten me thinking there might be some substance to the allegations.

EG: Ghash.io has considerably more hash rate than BTCGuild, yet BTCguild is solving more blocks, according to https://blockchain.info/pools - Just bad luck ?
1213  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: March 17, 2015, 04:25:16 AM
Is Ghash.io still having issues ? I've never seen a period like this last week or so where the block-times have been so long.

Just bad luck ?
1214  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Help me please. on: March 16, 2015, 05:48:57 PM
1- Would I buy this product or not :

<snip>

2- Or invested in mining Cloud.(And any companies advise me , and why)

3. Take whatever fiat you are thinking of spending on mining, and just buy BTC directly (eg: via Coinbase)

I see some sort of quick resolution to your problem. Doesn't help what has happened and the damage it has done to the Bitmain name.
BitmainWarranty was nice enough to reach out via PM, and asked me to provide a PDF of the order to Yoshi (areyoufuckingserious?!yeahletmejumpthroughmorehoops) to resolve the order at $320 per unit.

Too little too late at this point, TBH.

 Smiley

EDIT: FWIW, it was order 00120150309145955326seiP366P067D

1216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.25/GH & 0.51W/GH on: March 16, 2015, 07:50:19 AM
That is some serious BS service there Xian01.
Has Yoshi been informed and have you got any relief?
No. Didn't pursue the issue any further after rage-deleting the ticket.

Too irritated with Bitmain to deal with them right now. I'm really torn on doing any more business with them moving forward. Wrote them a particularly blunt PM over their pricing shenanigans and should probably just leave it at that.

Love my two B1 S5's, but damn have Bitmain's business practices taken a turn for the worse since then Sad Was hoping to pick up two more at $320 when they launched to tinker with different fans, but then, well... the shenanigans happened.

I'm waiting for the seemingly inevitable day when they go full KNC or Bitfury...

1217  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: March 15, 2015, 06:10:30 PM
Especially when bitcoin price is not that high. Im out of not only the mining game, but the whole bitcoin game.
Did you cash out entirely, or hodling your stash ?
1218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.25/GH & 0.51W/GH on: March 15, 2015, 05:58:25 PM
That's what I'm talking about. Some useful information given out without the use of emoticons. I would call this professional. Thanks.

I placed a SWIFT order for 2 x S5's @ $320 when they first were released as B5, then sent a support ticket asking for the order to be converted to a BTC purchase after the pricing shenanigans.

The support response was, I shit you not, "Please place a new order Smiley" (... yeah, lemme go ahead and do that at your price-gouging $419 offering with your shit-eating grin there... not...)

The smiley face made me rage-delete the support ticket and curse loudly - wanted to reach through the monitor to slap whoever was on the other side for being so utterly useless and callous.

1219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: March 14, 2015, 02:49:54 AM
I'm wanting to set up my network to be able to access my rigs while I'm away from home.  I have a static IP [not dynamic] assigned by my ISP.  I have my home network set up for DHCP and NAT.  I have assigned an IP address for each rig in DHCP.

What is your router/firewall running ? I use a CentOS distro as my gateway/firewall with OpenVPN installed to allow me access into my home network when I'm out. Once I'm VPN'd in, I have access to all the systems on my private LAN.

Check out http://www.clearfoundation.com/ for more details.

Basically I have my network configured as ISP Router <-> DMZ-Host / Lan Gateway / Firewall <-> Internal Lan Segment

ClearOS has dynamic DNS services so whenever my IP changes, I can just use the DNS name I've selected to access my gateway.

Is it just me, or is the Cloudflare stuff interfering with the ability to connect to https://passport.bitmain.com ? Can't seem to log on to my account.

EDIT: NM. Still DDoS related issues.
