1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2017, 06:46:47 PM
The first thing I do is tell you that bitcoin is an investment that can bring profit to us. By studying bitcoin then we can make a lot of money.
Already many people who have become rich because of using bitcoin as an investment.

Just be sure to guide them really well because if they fail in bitcoin because of its volatility, they will certainly hate you for that. If they got in while the price is high and then suddenly drops, they will lose their fate on the person who pushed bitcoin into them.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the right number of BTC to own in order to become rich in 10 years?? on: May 10, 2017, 05:52:49 PM
It depends on your definition of rich. If you want to have a fancy cars, yacht, large mansions, then you will need a lot of bitcoins. But if you just want to live comfortably while doing the things you love then a few hundred bitcoins will do. This is if bitcoin continue to be valuable after ten years. Did you consider bitcoin losing value after those years?
1203  Economy / Speculation / Re: is 2017 the new 2013? on: May 10, 2017, 05:20:02 PM
Fear not buddy!! The bitcoin price isn't gonna take a dip recently as many and many Japanese people are joining and driving the bitcoin price higher and higher to the moon. I do think $2k will be reached in the coming month or two.

This is very much attainable and because of japan, very much sustainable as well. This is not like 2013 when the price hike was baseless and purely manipulated. There is a valid reason the price is rising now, and japan accepting bitcoin is the difference between 2013 and 2017.
1204  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 anyone? on: May 10, 2017, 05:06:29 PM
Especially when the SEC decides to not change anything about their ETF rejection not that long ago. We're not far away from May the 15th -- don't forget that.

I thought this rise was because of japan accepting bitcoin, and it can be sustainable because of that same reason. Even if ETF rejection stands, I do not think it will have much effect on bitcoin price anymore.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the bubble will burst? on: May 10, 2017, 04:54:26 PM
You will never know when it will burst. Better start cashing out if you are too afraid. Better safe, profited than sorry.  There will be another chance to profit after the bubble burst so it is fine even if you did not get the highest amount possible.
1206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: May 10, 2017, 08:11:01 AM
Doing a job as a trader is an option. If we can focus then we will be able to get the best results. Even earn income that can make us become rich.

I'm employed and I'm also a trader, there are a lots of way to become a trader and you can determine yourself on what type of trader you are. I'm not a day trader but I'm a long time trader. I use to hold coins for better just like with bitcoin. Because I can't monitor it from time to time and I treat as my side line.

experience is one good advantage of a trader. he/she should spend years to become successful in this field. should attend seminars and trainings to be successful in trading.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 10, 2017, 07:38:00 AM
San Antonio won today, I say San Antonio in 6.
They'll win one of the 2 matches in Houston and come back home 2-2, then win at home and make it 3-2. Houston's motivation and focus will be gone and they'll beat again in Houston and qualify 4-2.

SA Spurs won again today, May 9,2017. they played a very nice game today. i hope the momentum will still be the same next game so that they can beat the houston rockets. good luck.😊
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 10, 2017, 07:32:18 AM
I dont think bitcoin will be use by almost all people in the year 2022, but one thing i know for sure ,china will be the first country who will accept bitcoin in almost all thier stores as payment options. And all of the people in china will now be using bitcoin.

when this year comes, i believe bitcoin is already famous. with the speedy internet now, am pretty sure people are now very much aware of bitcoin. nothing is impossible comes 2022.
1209  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Transaction fees. on: May 09, 2017, 04:11:28 PM
Price is irrelevant in computing fees. What matters is the size of your transactions. If you have lots of dust input in your wallet, that will take a toll on  your fee when you send them. If you can post your tx id, we can verify if  you overpaid fee or not.

Edit: saw your tx id, 223.436 sat/B fee is fair enough
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this bitcoin bubble ever going to burst on: May 09, 2017, 02:40:08 PM
I would the safe thing if I were you. I'll buy in half of my money now and the other half, reserved if ever there is a correction later. This way I will not lose my mind if suddenly the price surges or the bubble pops. I'll have them both covered. It may not be the most profitable but the safest way to invest.
1211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For New Investors - The 3 Percent Bitcoin Rule on: May 09, 2017, 01:54:07 PM
Isn't 3% left in your account is too small? There is nothing much after you sold 97% of your bitcoin.

What I follow on my altcoins is I sell 10% every 2x of the amount. So if I bought at 20, at 40 I will sell 10%. Then another 10% on 80, 160, 320, 640 and so on. But I only follow this if I believe that the altcoin I am holding have great potential.
1212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can anyone mine my transaction? Urgent... on: May 05, 2017, 07:04:31 PM
There is a lot of unconfirmed transactions in the blockchain right now. if viabtc can't help you, I think, there is nothing else you can do but wait for the mem pool to drop your first transaction with low fees.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 05, 2017, 06:41:24 PM
XEM has the least exchange site compared to other top 10 coins and has the crappiest marketing/no marketing at all.

Nem has one of the best marketing team ever.
Involved in promoting our technology in big companies and governments instead of posting crap on social media.

yes they have a good marketing for large business and government but what about the common people?
yes NEM is always active when it comes to implementing the technology on business and that is good but a massive adoption of people is very good too

I guess it is a good target clients. Almost all altcoins and bitcoins are already crowding on targeting common people. It is about time there is someone to focus on big business and governments.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 06:14:27 PM
There is already a lot of exposure from tv series mentioning bitcoin. And if there will be an ad, the most suitable ones are ads promoting business and not just bitcoin alone. If it is just bitcoin, who would pay the bill? Unless OP is willing to pay the bill to make an ad for bitcoin.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins dont get deposit on: May 05, 2017, 04:33:31 PM
They are right, your transaction has already been dropped by mempool because of low transaction fee. It may take sometime before it will reflect back to your friends wallet but it will be send back soon. Next time use appropriate fees in sending bitcoin. You have a very high transaction size, maybe because your input came from faucets (just a hunch).
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 05, 2017, 04:11:34 PM
This is a real problem. If you have to spend 3 or more inputs, the fees will be really high and aggravated by the price of bitcoin really high right now. Since there is no real solution yet coming from the devs, the only work around is to avoid having small inputs. Inputs below 100K sats will just incur more fees when spent.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get the news about BTC/altcoins? on: May 05, 2017, 03:51:20 PM
Mostly on this forum and on facebook groups. It is easier for me to read news on my group in facebook because someone is posting all relevant news coming from different reliable sources. That is enough for me, but if you really want to be a serious trader then you should subscribe to more reliable sources.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING:network under Massive spam attack. on: May 05, 2017, 03:21:08 PM
This is nothing new. It happened in the past and will happen again.

Its more then likely some people who are trying to prove that bitcoin need bigger blocks (Bitcoin Unlimited/Roger verr)?

Or some rich miners just wanted to bump up the fees. If you are large enough miner, you can benefit if the network is clogged and users start throwing large fees to hasten their transactions. I don't know if this is possible, just a theory.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 05, 2017, 01:28:11 PM
I don't get it why would someone leave their jobs and spend their time on bitcoin. There is nothing there in bitcoin all a person has to do is save money he earns and invest in bitcoin and let it grow. Or you can spend some of your free time in trading then you can earn additional coins.

If you can start a good business using bitcoin, that is a good reason to leave your job. It is way better to be your own boss than an employee. In our country, at the current price of bitcoin, some signature campaign can earn you more money than the minimum pay on a day job.

But the question is that signature campaign be sustainable? There are signature campaign that can run for a long time but most signature campaign just last for a weeks. So you can't just rely on signature campaign, you still need a stable job and just used your bitcoin earning just to add a little money on your pocket.

I did not say to rely only on signature campaign. I specifically said if you can start a good business, then you can leave your job. I am just comparing that even a part time income in bitcoin like signature campaign, have higher rates than regular jobs in our country.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 01:21:16 PM
Many people need big proof to satisfy that this site is legit ..whats the best way to convince your relatives or friends

You don't have to. If they see you spending bitcoin or doing business in bitcoin and they get interested or asked about it, then tell them. If not, let it be. You do not have to force bitcoin to anyone. Let it come to them that they need bitcoin or want to use bitcoin naturally. That is the best way for me.
