201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does holding long term can be worthy despite of unpredictable market? on: May 22, 2018, 09:22:49 AM
Normally, investment for volatile markets are for long term investments. It is hard and stressful to get profit from volatile markets. You do short term to more stable markets like bonds. But for volatile markets like equity and crypto, it is long term and it is profitable to do it that way. That is why most people here will say that you hodl your bitcoin even when it is down.
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Survived 8000, time for $10k? on: May 19, 2018, 09:36:30 PM
What do ya think. Bitcoin straddled 8000 last night but failed to break down further, now it's made a couple $100 jumps up today. Have we seen <$8000 for the last time? Are we heading back to challenge $10k by the end of the month?

100$ range in change of price is just normal for bitcoin. We cannot assume that the price has already bottom or it is about to move up. I think we will see more of this price range for a long time. It is still a correction period in my opinion.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 18, 2018, 02:51:08 PM
Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Somebody has already did a website where he listed all the private keys but it will still take a lot of computing power to run through all the keys and search keys with some bitcoin in it. It is still impossible right now (with the current computing power) to do a brute force of all the keys.

204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: May 18, 2018, 12:01:46 AM
It will be very hard for them to know if you own bitcoin or not, unless you are announcing it to the world. Transactions are almost anonymous and hard to track. Avoid centralized exchange that requires KYC and you will be fine. Good luck to them tracking every address in the blockchain just to find you.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do you believe in luck? on: May 17, 2018, 06:12:54 AM
Luck plays its part but there is also skills needed to be a successful trader. You seems to view trading as gambling but in fact there are tools you can use and skills to learn to be more successful in it. Do not rely on luck but hone your skills and you will see better profit.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: April 22, 2018, 11:38:18 PM
I think that it is bad idea to think that something will not be replaced. That will just mean that something will be stagnant and not develop anymore. Technology develops fast and things get outdated one way or another. I think, it is the same with bitcoin. It is a great technology but there will always be better as time goes by. That is how technology advances. The old is replaced by something new and better. I think bitcoin is not immune to that. Maybe in the next 10 years, bitcoin will still be number 1 but there will be something new that will be developed that will overthrow and replace bitcoin someday.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Growth may be just around the corner? on: April 22, 2018, 11:16:25 PM
I think the same op. It has been a steady rise since last week and I think that is a good sign that we are about to  enter the bull season. If nothing bad happens or any FUD news arise, this will continue to rise. It has been a long bear season and I am just glad that it is almost over. I think if it gets above 10K, it will start a new hype that will push the price higher.
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit 25k by the end of this Year? on: April 22, 2018, 10:44:01 PM
I would not state an exact amount because you cannot really tell with bitcoin how much it can grow in a year. But the good thing is, after a long bear season, the price is finally starting to rise. And if we use the rate at how it soared last year, it may be more than 25K by the end of the year. That is if the same burst happen this year. But I do not see it right now. It is just a steady pace up, so 25 K maybe hard to reach if the pace don't pick up.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM BOUNTY VS. GOOD BOUNTY on: April 22, 2018, 10:12:45 PM
As a new bounty hunter how will I know if the ICO I joined for bounty campaign is not scam aside from studying their whitepaper. For those who are professional in bounty have you experience being scam from the bounty campaign you joined? How to avoid SCAM Bounty so that our effort and time will not be wasted.

You should check the ico rating of the ICO if it is safe or not. It should have at least above 3 rating. You should also check the ratings of the team and compare ratings with other rating sites. If it is good then you can go ahead. But it is still a risk even if an ICO have a good ratings. You can only lower the risk by checking ratings and choosing the campaigns managed by a reputable manager.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bountyhive suspicious to you? on: April 22, 2018, 07:49:21 AM
I am actually trying out bountyhive just to see if their system really works and if they are paying fairly. They have the budget on the page where you sign in for work and you can also see how many have joined. So I can have an estimate how much I will be receiving at the end of the bounty. If I think I am receiving fair amount, I would continue using it. If not, then I'll quit and would let everybody know it.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: have great skills but no money to invest on: April 21, 2018, 06:17:45 PM
If you cannot even risk your own money, how can you persuade others into investing into you. Members here already seen a lot of scammers and they won't fall easily.

You can take the money from your forex background and invest it in crypto. Make it grow, then show your results. Maybe then, you can have some investors put money into you.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: April 21, 2018, 01:01:20 PM
This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed

It is not suppose to make you rich anyway, it is made to keep your money safe. If you want to get rich, start a business and a passive income. Anything that makes you money even with minimal time spent can make you more money that keeping it in a bank. That is why it is always advised to put money on investments like stocks, mutual funds, assets and in here, bitcoin and altcoins.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU wants transparency on Cryptocurrencies on: April 15, 2018, 10:42:20 PM
Is there a way they could implement kyc on wallets? If the wallets are not based on EU then they will not comply with that regulation.

KYC on exchanges should be because there are lots of movements of money in there. But KYC on wallets os an overkill.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: April 15, 2018, 02:11:24 PM
crypto is green again, do you thing is good time buy now .

Why do you have to wait til it gets green before you buy? The time for buying is when the market is down, not when it is up. When it is up, it is already profit taking and selling of coins. You can always buy if you want, it still can get higher. But if it does not get higher, please do not complain if you get trapped.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ? on: April 15, 2018, 01:01:05 PM
All prices in the crypto currency market fell and the color of the charts turned red. investors have been in a difficult situation. but the current prices have been a great opportunity for new investors. I think it's time to buy subcoin yada bitcoin

Actually when the chart turns red is the perfect time to get in and invest. It is buy time. Right now, the price is recovering and on the way up. It is the start of profit taking, there may still be space for new investors but I would be wary. I would wait for the price to settle and see where it will be heading before putting some money.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT BOUNTHIVE on: April 15, 2018, 12:08:33 PM
Quite suspicious to me,because theres no existing spreadsheet that you can based your rewards, there will be no one to complaint as these people doesnt provide the spreadsheet of all the participants, they might have most of the stakes of each campaign that is why less people are going to get good stakes from each bounty campaigns that they participated.
That is what I do not like with the site as well. You cannot track your progress with the campaigns they are running and there is a great chance that you will be disappointed of the token you'll get because you do not know how many stakes you are getting each week you work. I am giving this signature a try for it will just run for a month. IF it does not pay well, I'll quit from the site.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls are back !!!!!!!Are you ready guys??? on: April 14, 2018, 02:26:01 PM
Don't get too hyped yet. It is a good start, but it is still too early to say that it is a bull trend. Let it run for a few more days and see if it does not revert.

I am excited for a bull run, but I want to be sure that I am excited on the real bull run. I hope this one don't disappoint in the end.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does really bull run starts for altcoins ? on: April 14, 2018, 02:22:03 AM
For tha last days we saw some big growths of altcoins. Do you really start to think about the bull run like me ?

The price of altcoins are just being pulled by the price of bitcoin right now. Unless the altcoin you hold does noe increase in satoshi value, it means nothing to your alt. Just hope that bitcoin will sustain this upward trend, so it may affect the alt and hope alts will make a run of its own.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on today?! on: April 13, 2018, 03:26:41 AM
I am just happy that it starts to bounce back. It is bound to happen anyway. The bitcoin market has been depressed for too long now, and maybe the consolidation or correction is over. Time to move up again. I hope the trigger happy people don't start dumping again so the market can sustain this trend.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 10, 2018, 12:49:57 PM
Now a day bitcoin is more popular all over the world, several people makes bitcoin as a source of everything either ordinary or riches people. They use bitcoin to help theirselves and others, but if you will be given a chance to have 10 Btc would you think can you give some Btc for those who belongs to indigenous peoples including charities?

Share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Why not, if it will help them. But the question is, do these indigenous people will know how to use bitcoin or cryptocurrency. It will be useless to give them something that they do not know how to use. It is better to give them something they can use. For charitable organizations, if they accept bitcoin or crypto for donations, I am willing to part from my bitcoins.
