1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 02, 2023, 06:46:22 PM
It is disappointing that PSG couldn't get the deal completed before the deadline. Ziyech himself will be very disappointed with this development, everyone would hate losing out on the chance of playing for PSG alongside with Messi and Mbappe. This kind of opportunities don’t always come. Chelsea were able to complete Enzo's deal before the deadline, this shows how much the club prioritized this deal.
I wouldn't blame Chelsea or PSG... Chelsea was more focused on buying Enzo Fernandez. Apparently, the deal was important and alot of things were going on that moment.
On the other hand, I think PSG could have been more proactive. I take that they were not interested enough, or it was not too important because why didn't they make their request 1 or 2 weeks before the deadline day. I imagine how pained Ziyech feels right now.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much time do you think you have spent gambling? on: February 02, 2023, 05:00:29 PM
I have never really considered the timer thing though. I recon it will be very difficult to use a timer especially when you at an online casino. You something lose track of time.

What I do is that, the amount of money I use to fund my account is what determines how much time I spend gambling. The maximum time I have spent is 2.5 to 3 hours. This is because the amount I spend is budgeted and it doesn't go past 2hrs. But if a timer works for you them by all means, go for it.

1224  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: February 01, 2023, 11:34:32 PM
If you wanna be happy and have peace and be happy stay out of debts. Sometimes it hard bit you but you have to try. Or rather still when you do pay back as soon as you get the cash. Also avoid loan sharks,
they a vicious and would not hesitate to prey on defaulters. I do not think people get addicted to loan cash.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 30, 2023, 02:29:49 PM
I like to think that there is a positive correlation because internet accessibility and gambling addiction. So, it shouldn't surprise anyone.
My worry is that teenagers without any parental supervision are the very high-risk group of getting addicted to online gambling. And online gambling may not necessary straight up an online casino..it usually starts with dummy coins on a video game before they transition to online crypto gambling.

AC Milan suffered a humiliating defeat at the San Siro. What a hell of an encounter between AC Milan and Sassuolo. When was the most recent time a victory occurred for Sassuolo? Until they faced AC Milan, it appears as though they had forgotten about winning. Even though two AC Milan goals were ruled offside by VAR, which would have made the game closer, the frustration among players and individuals in the stadium was evident.

At the beginning of this year, the team is performing very poorly. Stefano Pioli ought to be able to determine their woes before being too late. They will play their rival Inter Milan next week, whom they recently lost to in the Supercoppa final at San Siro.

AC Milan losing this big at home to Sassuolo is something else.
The results of their last three games were terrible. They lost to Inter by 3 goals, to Lazio by 4 goals, and now by 5 goals. What an utter humiliation. They should get new defenders it will do them a whole lot of good.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 30, 2023, 08:23:23 AM
Liverpool's position is not good now. They are also dropping points against weaker teams in the Premier League. Still they have a strong squad and strong attack. Liverpool is capable of fighting against big teams. However, considering the current performances of the two teams, Real Madrid will be ahead. Coach Ancelotti is very experienced. He knows very well how to strategize matches in a competitive league like the Champions League.
Liverpool as a club needs a total overhauling. I learned that they will soon get a new owner. It is only right that they also acquire needs players who are willing to put in the effort to see that they get back to
their glory days. Maybe they should buy back Mane. They sort of lost their confidence since he left. I would want to see him back in the team. If they can do this,
we are definitely going to see team with the chances of winning the league next season and even more.

For the defense line, Arsenal did a quite good job. But they weren't good enough at the attacking line. I'm sure Arsenal can make a goal if they released Martin Ødegaard at the beginning of the match. I don't know why Arteta keeps him on the bench, while Guardiola lets De Bruyne play in the starting lineup. For me, it was a big mistake to not optimize the opportunity to score in the first half. Arsenal defenders can deal with Haaland, but it is nothing if they can't score any goal. No team can win the match without a single goal.  Undecided

I really hope Arteta can take a lesson from the match. He shouldn't underestimate the opponents.

Despite losing, Arsenal put on a great performance. I would like to see Ortega given more opportunities to play in the first team considering that Ederson is performing poorly.
He comes running out of his goal to try to close down attackers, is unable to maintain composure under pressure to move the ball around defense, commits too many simple blunders.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 29, 2023, 11:51:57 AM
After Inter Milan heroically defeated Cremonese, maybe after a few matches there will be a change in the position in the Serie A standings again.

AC Milan will welcome Sassuolo as the opening match. Then followed by the Juventus vs Monza match.
AC Milan have the opportunity to overtake Inter again in the standings because Sassuolo who is their opponent who has never tasted victory in their last 5 matches.

Lazio vs Hellas Verona will also be interesting because Lazio are eager to get 3 points to keep their position in the top four.
For the final match, it's Napoli vs AS Roma. Well, this is a big match that will grab the attention of many betting markets.
Cremonese started the game convincingly and scored a beautiful goal at the beginning of the match, but then there was a failure in defense and the first and then the second goal from Inter, and that was the end of the loss.
If it wasn't for the goalkeeper, Cremonese would have conceded more goals than two! But the goal that Cremonese scored at the beginning of the game, I would have given the best goal in this match.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: January 29, 2023, 11:23:30 AM
Bitcoin has brought about the disruption of the actual financial system which concentrates the power in hands of a few institutions and corporations.
I see this as the greatest revolution in the world and of course will have to fight many battles against the current system before becoming the new financial system free from manipulation of unfair interests, but do I think that bitcoin will become the world currency? Nope. Not at all.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 28, 2023, 10:28:21 PM
Barcelona had a really interesting match against Girona today. Normally you would expect them to dominate such matches in the league. However especially in the second half the match was quite balanced. Even as for the ball possession rates, they weren't too far from each other. This made me worried about the chance of losing here as well. But thanks to Pedri's goal Barcelona secured a 1-0 win. But this performance is still worrying for the future matches of course.

I hope Lewandowski becomes more careful from now on not to leave his team alone. He is the most crucial part of the lineup to increase the amount of goals scored.
Certainly, the game was a difficult one for Barcelona. Girona fought hard and attempted a few threatening shots on goal. It is always worrisome when the other club is able to hold their own, particularly for a squad like Barcelona that is used to dominating league matches. Nevertheless, I'm delighted they were able to earn the victory, even if it was by a single goal.

Pedri's goal is certainly a positive development, but I believe that Barca's overall performance was rather alarming. I hope they can improve in future matches and ensure that they regularly dominate the game. Especially in such a difficult competition, it's always crucial to be at the top of your game.
Barcelona suffers the same or less than what Madrid suffers. The difference is that Barça scores the goals first and then defends itself. Madrid scored goals and ended up suffering to come back. Ansu is not nine, when he has played on the left he has given better performance and even scored goals and associates better, he should put dembele on the right to Ansu on the left and lewandoski of 9.
1233  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 28, 2023, 10:10:59 PM
Commission job is hard work and is so unpredictable. With a salary job you are sure of an income. I will only accept a commission job as a side hustle and not my main job. So here I can determine when I want to get paid while I have my main game going on for me. Also commission job is good if you do it online and not offline so it is flexible but it must not be my main job.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who else have my kind of mindset for Bitcoin 2023 on: January 28, 2023, 09:54:57 PM
Bitcoin is gaining in popularity not just among the rich but among the masses. A lot of persons have not become away of Bitcoin especially in this first quarter of 2023. In my opinion people's mindset should be that they will play whatever role they can to ensure that they give proper education of bitcoin to those who already have a misconception. Also another mindset should be that they would invest time in learning more about Bitcoin in 2023 more than just buying and holding.

1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: January 27, 2023, 10:08:34 PM
Which is the best?  Trading on bitcoin or investing in the stock market? The battle between short period earning and long-term earning. Share your thought about it.
It started in 2020, I have been looking into  stocks and using paper trading accounts. I've been doing very well. The snag has always been the time  7am -1pm that the market opens. It is usually not convenient for me. During those hours, I am at work. But since cryptocurrency is available around-the-clock,
I'm inclined to choose it. Additionally, stocks are more expensive to invest in than cryptocurrencies, but if one has enough money to risk, it is best to just start investing in both with enough understanding.
1237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Types Of Traders - My Personal Classification on: January 27, 2023, 10:01:16 PM
I line your line of thought at OP. However, I wonder which category the holders, day traders, swing traders, positon traders fall into.
What I tend to think is that there is a process or stages to this.
Maybe that is what the OP means. Because you move from one stage to the next on the trading route.
You may be the awakened trader today and the blind trader tomorrow or vice-versa it all depends on your strategy.
1238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the factor that affects the price of bitcoin on: January 27, 2023, 09:47:21 PM
There are a bunch of preconceived ideas about the aspects or justifications that affect the price of Bitcoin. I will give you some illustrations: Contest; Cost of production; Supply and Demand; Restrictions and Legal Matters etc.

In your statement or ideas, what are the elements that can influence the price of bitcoin?
It is simple- supply and demand. On the supply side, there is a limited supply of 21 million bitcoins. Despite this, it is more scarce and there millions of bitcoins that are lost. We know that some people may have lost their private keys etc While on the deman side - market sentiments is what drives it.
When there is hack it affects price, when businesspeople try to make bitcoin more accessible to the public the price of bitcoin is affected. etc These are to the best of my knowledge the factors that affect bitcoins price.

1239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My business currency on: January 27, 2023, 09:45:52 PM
As we know today globally currently is greatly lossing it value as a means of exchange. There by the world are gradually using cryptocurrency as a means of exchange both investors and trader. Am also opurtune to use Bitcoin as a means of exchange. I buy goods and pay with Bitcoin. So like I say in a little time cryptocurrency will be the only currency in digital market. So I urge every one of us to key into cryptocurrency as a means of exchange in any businesses we deal with.
Good for you.
Not everyone has the opportunity to invest and make transactions using bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies. Not because they do not want to but because there is no enabling or viable environment for it.
Personally, I cannot wait to start using bitcoin for 60% of my day-to-day activities. It will be so cool. Moving around with fiat seems like old school to me now.
1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has someone tried to use ChatGPT to help in trading? on: January 27, 2023, 09:19:52 PM
I see a lot of people are using ChatGPT for various reasons and with that there are now so many videos how it can help it with writing trading scripts etc. Has someone tried it until now?
I was watching a YouTube video where the youtuber asked ChatGPT to write a Pine Script that draws 50MA and alerts him whenever the price goes above 50MA.
What is a Pine Script? A Pine script is a programming language created by TradingView to backtest trading strategies and create custom indicators.
And despite ChatGPT actually writing the script but  users on stackover flow commented that ChatGPT can't do pine script, so don't even try. Pinescript can't import CSV files (and in any case, this is not pine script valid syntax). I trust the responses on stackoverflow. Therefore the answer to the OP's question is that ChatGPT can't help it with writing trading scripts
