if the password is too short on the reg form, you should re-populate the email and login fields so i don't have to re-type them.

1) we're taking a 10% commission

i like your idea, but 10% won't last in this environment.

i'm only speculating, but competition will soon drive it down to 1% or less.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending and Receiving Stolen Coins. on: May 27, 2012, 10:46:42 PM
How about a system where each bitcoin is valued based on how much you personally trust each person (wallet) that has ever held it? If everybody did this, that would make us a lot more discerning about who we dealt with, wouldn't it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungibility

It would be the death of Bitcoin (or any currency).

The currency would still be fungible for the set of all honest participants that only dealt with other honest people. Smiley

but there are honest crooks that are totally honest about their crookedness.

sounds like you already sent the coins...

you might try contacting jeremy Smiley spendbitcoins.com.au if your AUD doesn't arrive in a few days.

i put some money onto mt gox a while ago but dont wanna use it anymore so converted it to btc and used the AUD bank transfer to send it to my commonwealth bank account
i recieved the BTC address from spend bit coins, but isk what to do from here and now i have to btc or aud on mt gox and nothing recieved in my bank account so idk whats going on or what im suppose to do.. ?
Thanks for helping btw

do you mean the convert to AUD bank account function on spendbitcoins.com?

sounds like you need to:

1) create a new order at spendbitcoins.com, because the old one has probably expired by now. https://www.spendbitcoins.com/convert/bitcoins-to-australian-bank-account/

2) log in to mt gox and withdraw BTC - paste the btc address that is shown on your spendbitcoins.com order into the withdrawal form on mtgox, and withdraw the exact BTC amount shown on that order.

1226  Other / Off-topic / .tc domain registrar -godaddy on: May 27, 2012, 05:56:59 AM
payb.tc needs renewing soon, and i was thinking of using this opportunity to move from godaddy (puke) to namecheap.

however just like sopa, namecheap doesn't support .tc domains.

so, can anyone recommend a .tc registrar that i can spend my money on?

Right, well I'm fairly keen to deposit my stash here, but as I haven't really traded with anyone already a member it seems I can't.  As I'd only be depositing and sitting on that (rather than having it sitting in my wallet doing nothing) I'm not sure what sort of risks I'd pose or malicious activities I'd be capable of.

Is this likely to opened up a little more in the future or am I just out of luck?

sent you a PM, rolo
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: www.fiveminutecoin.com!What do you think about the new version? on: May 25, 2012, 10:54:13 AM
tried this again today and it seemed a little weird..

it was on 0.0025 and then it says "push your coins to 0.01 by clicking on ads", etc... so i did that and eventually it showed 0.01

so then, i entered my bitcoin address and hit enter.

i suppose at that point, most people would close the window, but i left it open as the count down still continued.

when the countdown got to 0, the "Your coins" went from 0.01 to 0.005 Cheesy

i wonder how much i'll receive.

when did the 'lose' transaction change from being a % of the bet, to being a single satoshi?

I only have US dollars at Bitcoinica.  I'm hoping that US dollar accounts were unaffected by this.  How were the US dollars stored?

Seriously? Can't tell if a joke or not.

well obviously the US dollars were encrypted with Truecrypt and stored offline.

like finding a chainsaw in a kitchen instead of a tool shed.

do you often find tool sheds in your kitchen? mine is out the back.

nod32 has no problem with cgminer.
