Someone plugged in 600,000TH worth of miners... Vosk you in the 1700 range about now? yeah on track for 1600-1700 https://goo.gl/S3o5Yz these earnings along with stress of new miners and the diff adjustment has just been a very weird experience overall lol

Who else have overclocked their a3 miners / at what and how is it performing?

I really liked your recommendation on the MSI armor, what do you run in the BIOS. Also I have a MSI gaming RX 580 installed on my PC but was considering just picking up one or two Armor 570's and running them with my PC. Would that be possible and profitable? I'd probably need to step up the power supply to be safe too right?
well this video was done by johnnyhash I can ask him if he'd chime in here for me I just used the one click bios mod o my armors / its always best to use no more than 80% of an atx PSU

can people in here post which pool you are mining to, and what your last 24-hour result has been for a single Antminer A3 ?
I have been mining Luxor Pool for 2 days, and have a payoput thus far of 2500+ siacoin, BUT it says there is a 24 hour ramp-up period, so i have no idea exactly how much of that has been int he last 24 hours...
I'm curious to compare the payouts of the various sicoin pools for the last 24 hour period
You would probably have made ~double that on siamining . .but don't just take my word for it https://[Suspicious link removed]/S3o5Yz wow...you're already made ROI of your A3.. do you overclock your A3? to what rate? why do you think siaming pays more though it was the same as luxor I mined over 2000 coins a day currently on siamining and he stated in 2 days he mined 2500

Chip and PCB 3 always running 10% hotter than the rest, you notice the same? Temps remain in this area consistently ambient air is 15-65 (yeah va winter weather . . lol) PS Miner can still be watched live here for another week https://goo.gl/S3o5Yz

What are your thoughts on FCFL / Fan Controlled Football League and their FAN erc-20 token aka upcoming ICO? Personally I think it is actually a pretty cool concept that they already shown proof of concept along with a streaming platform deal I can't imagine it is not at least mildly successful? Here's my take on it but I'm interested in everyone elses thoughts here on btc talk https://youtu.be/AZclj4pENiEAlso to clarify I have never promoted an ICO on my channel before so this FCFL / FAN token ICO review basically would be a first I'm not one of those guys who just goes around pumping random coins or am I. . . xD Their CEO is open to a group buy from us in their private sale I cover this in the video but if you want to invest a say hundred bucks vs $5000 their CEO is giving us the opportunity to express your interest by emailing VoskCoin@FCFL.io with your desired $$$ buy in and please understand I don't work for them and this isn't paid promo I've just gotten the ball rolling for a group buy mainly based off my subscriber base / discord interest

Hey everyone wanted to post a video and share a topic, people are always looking for the best card granted lately they have been looking for ANY card. what is the best RX570 for MINING JohnnyHash is a lurker of this forum but he's active in my Discord - he wanted to share his take on the best RX570 for mining ethereum https://youtu.be/qjVRV27jgvUIf you enjoyed his review of the rx570s consider donating ETH directly to JohnnyHash @ 0x518A87be16d186219E9A0d158165E1b7adf77ea8 Personally I wouldnt say I've used enough rx570's to give a good input on X vs Y -- my MSI armors and sapphires have worked well for me

In the meantime, A3 are still available for ordering on the Bitmain's site. What would we get guys when the second batch will completely be deployed?
Still looks like it is going the D3 x11 route to me....3rd/4th etc batches with NO ROI......but I may be a coward in that I got burnt on 2 D3's ( I did however ROI on all x11 miners, IF I count my 300mh May 14th, 2017 Baikal Cube ..that made 3.2k over cost.....so for ego protection I'm saying I 'broke even on x11' not that I got tanked on Bitmain D3's. It is all about the ego protection, in 20/20 hindsight...don't ya know!) Anyway, I'm staying clear unless they drop the price to like $380 or some such...then I might snap.....(doubtful) didn't you also purchase the obelisk sc1 O_O https://goo.gl/S3o5Yz also rewards have now effectively and stable doubled within the last couple days

Most cards with 2 PCI-E power connectors won't run AT ALL with only 1 connector attached. I have heard of exceptions, but never SEEN one to date.
The issue with using SATA to power risers is that the PCI-E bus is specified to allow up to 75 watts power draw from the GPU, then the riser ITSELF has to do "voltage conversion" to run that 75 watts from a +12VDC only feed which will eat a few watts as well, while the SATA power connector ITSELF is only rated to provide 54 watts MAX at +12VDC.
There is no way to guarentee how much of it's power a given GPU will draw from the PCI-E power connector(s) and how much it will draw from the bus, so there is a definite risk of overloading that SATA power connector by powering a riser with one. If the card splits the power draw so that it's pulling less than 50 watts or so from the PCI-E bus then it will work reliably - but there is NO WAY to make the card do that for SURE unless it's a low power card that draws ALL of it's power from the PCI-E bus (most 1050ti and lower) and you turn the total card TDP down to 50 watts or less.
This is not an issue for MOLEX (150+ watt rated power connector) or PCI-E (192+ watt rating on the connector, even though PCI-E spec says 75 they WAY underrate the connector).
I have not worked with Corsair modular power supplies, but most power supply manufacturers design their "peripheral" and "sata" ports on the PS to be interchangeable - might be worth checking to see if you can run Molex from all of those ports on your Corsair. It definitely works on the Corsair AX860/AX760 but those are Seasonic-built Corsair variants on the Seasonic SS-860/SS-760 models and most Corsair PS models are manufactured by companies other than Seasonic.
Isn't the Zotac 1080 ti Extreme a "8 + 8" powered card?
this is an excellent post // yes it is unless its been changed at some point

I'm running 631 @ 88% fans currently (100 makes an annoying vibration in my floor). Running fine, temps in the mid to high 70s (pulling cold basement air), though I am still baffled by the whole "if you reboot, your temperatures change by 5-10 degrees" thing.
theyre 5-10 higher or lower for you? They would be lower because rebooting them cools them down cause mining stops then fans sync. Wont last though depending on ambient temp Nope, they're both. I'm talking about a bug in the A3 itself (that others have reported too). If I make a change, as it is resetting it will either go up 5-10 from the previous running or down, but whichever it is it runs consistently at. So for example, my current temps are 79-75-81. The last time I changed wallets, the temps were all in the mid 80s, so I reset again and they are back down. It's been a pretty common thing based on posts on this board (though I don't know if it is universal or not), so if your A3 is running hot, you might be able to bring it down a bit just by hitting "save and apply". I dont have good data to support this but I've basically noticed the same thing and found it really odd. . . couple restarts and monitoring temps for just a short period seemed to yield "yeah it looks good now.." lol

Guys can we stop the miner FUD?
Global hashrate is around 8P right now, which means there were roughly 10K A3's released in batch one. Block time is still around 20 min's, this has been decreasing and will hit 10 min soon. Right now profitability is near 1300SC/day which should be near 2600SC/day when the block time corrects in a few days time.
Until batch 2, 2600SC/day should be stable. If batch 2 is also near 10K units this will halve to 1300SC/day which is still $30 ish per day at current price. If batch 2 is 20K units then we should be seeing around 650SC/day or $15 ish/day at current price.
So the only way batch 2 stands to not be profitable is if there is a major crash in sia price or more than 20K units are shipped. Is it the $600/day that people were getting on day one, no. But it will still likely be one of Bitmain's most profitable miners until batch 3.
This is a more accurate prediction imo ^ Profit as measured in SC up 40% /// I'm not saying or advising or recommending to buy an A3, simply bringing FACTS for you to make your own informed decisions and understand the basic fact that bitmain will saturate a market to the 10-20 usd per earnings imo every time

Hey everyone just wanted to say if anyones ever having a hard time syncing a miner to a BTCZ pool I mined BTCZ on my lifestream last night and covered setting it up (on luckpool) along with a fun fact that Mining Cave accepts BTCZ https://youtu.be/CDh2Gv5G7JUDon't have timestamps yet, been a crazy stressful week so kind of took a day off for once. . lol but its after 1.5 hours I'd imagine Hey dude! I’m glad I see you here! As a follower of you and a follower and active member of btcz I’m glad when I see two of my favorites in the same place! Keep posting those videos, people are loving them! Also, once in a while, mentioning BTCZ can’t hurt you! Especially if you are a HODL-er. I hope you are. I don’t like seeing people I admire losing a train. Hope your dog is well! Keep it up! glad to be here That's awesome to hear / I am hodling my BTCZ and thank you we're working on her health everyday Speaking of BTCZ. . featured it in my video yesterday https://youtu.be/KkqMFHyisF0
