KnC said for batch 1 and batch 2 Neptune "All refunds will be refunded in dollars and you can refund up to shipment".

My order status is still "paid". When I asked for refund, I got reply from Anna:
"As shipping has already started, we are no longer accepting requests for refunds."

Then I insist that my order status is "paid", not shipped, and the reply from Anna is:
"Sorry, no longer possible."

.................................................

Ouch. call them.

pretty sure it was the weekly pool report that figured evwryth6ing out over the last while, they have slowly been figuring it all out.

I even helped them fill in a blank at one point a few months ago.

200k$ definitely won't be the final price

who said we want to win  Grin
1245  Economy / Marketplace / Re: SR auctioned coins - group buy? on: June 21, 2014, 09:34:57 AM
nope, the entry person would need to front 200k while 200k raised + a fee were held in escrow until competition.

this ensures the entry cannot run off with other peoples 200k and it ensures there is 200k waiting I  escrow.

Also some people in this thread need to learn the difference between (kingdom of) The Netherlands And Holland.

One Is the country, the other is a province which is divided by north and south. The largest cities are contained in Holland but try telling someone from Brabant or Limburg province they live in the country Holland and they wont be happy.

Watched the Netherlands game last night in a packed out bar in Amsterdam, what a atmosphere all over the city Smiley

any thoughts on the community bidding in the auction.

20 people at 10k each can make up the entry deposit.

That's a good and interesting idea but, are we surely that 200.000$ can suffice?

200k is the deposit needed to enter the auction.

Winning bid would need to be transferred the day after auction winners are announced. It would be a lot of work.

we could try bid on 1 A group at 3000BTC or we could try bidding on the B group at around 2500btc

Not sure how this would entirely work but I doubt the FBI would let Escrow hold funds for them.

at no point do I say the FBI's 200k would be held in escrow

The limited buyer group tends to insure that auctions go below market.
Unless these coins are more valuable than others.
The bigger the buying audience, the better the auction pricing and closer to market.

The sheer price also reduces the market. 3000 at current prices is $1.8 million. And there's more than one package too so supply is fairly high. Some will likely go for not too far below market value but I expect a few to go for 40% or more discount. Though I wouldn't be shocked to see the whole lot go for really cheap.

this auction is a great entry point for large buyers without moving the market. try buying volume like this on an exchange without sending us to the moon.

I think the auction will end above market price but no where near where market price would be if that volume were bought on an exchange.

saying that, it depends if all the billionaires out there see it the same was a simpleton like myself

they're for sale now ?

No the auction is next month?

A 200k deposit(refundable) is needed to enter.

I figured we would need 20 people to front 10k each, this would need to be moved and held in a escrow

We would then need to find someone to front the full 200k and offer them a free % for their time and efforts.

I'm down for 10k

1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GHash.IO is standing at 50% on: June 13, 2014, 12:33:15 PM
Have they started double spending yet?

you cannot automatically double spend just by holding 51%. you have to have code that allows it, meaning that they have to intentionally change the rules to allow it.

a 51% attack = 51% dominance + intent to attack.

many believe GHASH has no intent to shoot themselves in the foot by doing anything nasty

So Ghash are just securing/gaurding the network against other malicious attackers
