In this XDNA coin there are 3 types of masternodes: for 1000 coins, at 3000 and at 5000. You need to rent a VPS server and place a wallet there. If you want, I will find you instructions for creating a node.

I would be very grateful if you find these instructions and post them here. In addition, we can even contact the team and ask them to place links in the topic, so that it is easier and faster for everyone to understand the details.

erm...

Do you have installation instructions for the masternodes? Excellent! Put it here please. I think that many of you would be grateful!

This is in our FAQ page (https://xdna.io/faq/)
But just like the FAQ question "HOW TO SETUP XDNA MASTERNODE" states: "We highly recommend using our auto install script"
The link to the auto-install script can be found in the same FAQ as well, it's this one: https://github.com/XDNA-Core/XDNA-InstallMN
1242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 06-Oct-2018] on: October 08, 2018, 08:10:24 AM
I can't believe how hard it is to find a legitimate Bounty Campaign.

All these campaigns that run an ICO and pay an escrow to distribute shitcoins to forum users who join their bounties won't be worth a dime.
If a project is serious they either (1) pay in BTC through an escrow or (2) they're not running an ICO, they manage the bounty themselves to cut costs, and they can pay in either BTC on their own coin.
If they only accept highly merited people then that adds credibility to the project.

But only BQT is covering the 1st case and is available for Member ranks, but Zapo is taking so much time to review the applications. Undecided

I thought FIFA Wold Cup is the biggest sporting event?

It's like near to impossible making XRP an official currency in 2020 Olympics but if it suddenly happens then it probably makes XRP worth a trillion in capitalization.

I wouldn't know, I only watch e-sports tbh! Cheesy
I just though Olympics are widely accepted as the biggest event.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: October 05, 2018, 12:41:24 PM
Petition to make XRP the official currency at the 2020 Olympic Games... yeah... a bit far fetched!

https://www.leaprate.com/cryptocurrency/digital-currency/this-cryptocurrency-can-be-the-official-currency-at-the-2020-olympic-games/

It would make sense for the reasons provided in the above article to have an official cryptocoin for purchases on every shop around the area, this would make things easier for everyone... for some tourists who own the coin they would skip the lines to exchange their money to Yen (probably in a bad rate) and people who would use fiat would at least wait in shorter lines.

But I think exchange of $, € and other fiat to Yen is something that would benefit Japan. Not sure if it makes any difference to their economy, but if it does then they wouldn't support any cryptocurrency.

Maybe not as far-fetched as it would seem. Sports seem to be getting on the crypto bandwagon as quick as they can, and because most of them don't really understand the difference between a true crypto project and a centralized entity like Ripple, they will actually think it's a good partnership to be associated with a big token that has many banking partnerships.

Will that make XRP rise in price? Probably not.

"Will the promotion from the biggest, worldwide sports event add credibility to Ripple and will the demand from tourists who prefer to pay less fees increase the XRP's price? Probably not"

Are you serious?!?!
And I'll pretend I didn't notice the comment about a true crypto project... who decides the rules a project must follow to be considered true?

1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: October 05, 2018, 07:58:19 AM
This coin hasn't died yet ?!? All this time and the biggest update is .... an update? Nothing new or ground breaking just more spinning wheels but going nowhere.

Not sure what "spinning wheels" means but if you feel you've found the next big thing in a new ICO then please go make scammers rich.

ARK is a big project which is around for a long time now and has gone a long way with the development.
If you're not actively following them and you don't see the updates, it doesn't mean they don't exist.
Currently ARK is in something like a beta and the v2 will be the main release, even though we still had some projects like Phantom which are based in ARK. More will follow and ARK holders will receive the airdrops.

Btw, instead of ARKtoshi I'd prefer something like microARK, mARK.... or ARK-kun maybe? Wink

It is possible in more detail, I hold the ark but did not get anything from the forks.

First of all, those are not forks. They don't copy the ARK blockchain and create a competitor of ARK. Instead it's similar (but not the same) as Ethereum's tokens, they work in parallel with the ARK chain or on top of the ARK chain... not sure which. In any case, read this guide about how to view your airdroped Phantom coins, everyone who had ARK on their wallets on August 30th got them but you need to know how to access them: https://phantom.org/2018/08/28/phantom-zinc-claim-guide%e2%80%8a-%e2%80%8aark/

I have already met several online projects that were going to launch full-fledged online stores that will sell goods for cryptocurrency. Alas ... more than one project has not started.
It is difficult to sell goods and services for cryptocurrency in terms of price as the market is not stable and the price of the currency is the same. First of all, we need stability of the exchange rate. Otherwise, the store will simply not benefit anyone.

The way the ability to buy with cryptocurrencies is usually implemented like this,
1) The site owner puts an automatic fiat-crypto conversion in the background
2) They put a price in fiat on each item, but the users only see the crypto-price
3) When the user decides to buy something, the conversion price will be locked for X minutes and the system will await the payment

But I guess you mean that a company (in this case the XDNA team) is in risk of buying an item for 9$, selling it for 100 XDNA (10$) and later the coin's price fall 20% and it's like they sold it for a loss of 1$.
I don't think it makes much of a difference for XDNA because if this operation would be a success with many sales, then the coin's price would rise striking a good profit. If the shop would have only a few sales and the price fell, then this wouldn't make much of a damage because of low sales.

What update do you mean? If the wallet, then it was carried around literally the other day. Wallet works well and without fail.

for example this update: " 2018, Q4
Release a mobile wallet for Android"

CryptTech, I have not ignored your question, I'm just waiting for someone from the dev team to answer me. They're on different timezones or sometimes they're just busy! I'll follow up with you soon though.

when is the next update planned?
If you're talking about the hardfork which will reduce the mining rewards, we're well within schedule and we should be ready to implement somewhen between end of October to mid-November.

For more details about what this update will include,
Quote
A fork will induce the lowering of rewards at all Bitgun levels by 10% per month during a period of 24 months. By the end of this period, the reward on the first level will be 0.35 XDNA, while the 15 lvl reward will become 9.66 XDNA. This measure is aimed at raising the value of the coin, since it will gradually become harder and harder to obtain.

The minimal XDNA emission is currently 6 307 200 coins for the duration of 3 years, while the maximal is 171 871 200 coins.
After the above option is implemented, the minimal XDNA emission will be 1 590 163 XDNA coins, while the maximal emission will be more than 4 times lower — 43 331 957 XDNA!
Furthermore, the percentage of masternodes' part of the block reward will be increased in order to prevent the decline of ROI. The new reward distribution is the following:
52% to miners
25% to full MNs
15% to medium MNs
5% to light MNs
2% to XDNA Foundation
1% - to DevFee
We significantly limit the coin emission thus thwarting the over-saturation of the market and increasing the profit of investors.
Estimated implementation time – 1-3 month

I had an idea this morning and before I propose it to the core team, I'd like to hear any ideas from the community.

Would you be interested in a e-shop run in our site (something like shop.xdna.io), with all kind of branded goods which would be sold in low prices, almost as much as they'd cost us to purchase them, with the 95% of the money going to the XDNA Foundation wallet? Every purchase would be paid in XDNA ofcourse, but since the team is working on a crypto-to-XDNA conversion tool it'd be possible to easily obtain XDNA even without registering to an exchange.

The red text on my idea is where I'm especially interested to hear your thoughts.

I believe it'd easy to have branded mousepads, office consumables like stickers, pencils etc, decorations for home or the office, bags, things like that. With higher interest we would be able to arrange deals with manufacturers and provide more expensive things like headphones and mouses.

The XDNA team wouldn't need to have any profit from this, the purposes would be the following 3,
  • Charity, like other charity organizations, the most or all of the earnings would go to charity
  • Marketing, some of the items sold would have our logo if possible
  • Demand, the price would increase because of higher demand and this would help support miners and reward investors indirectly.

An example from Unicef: https://www.market.unicefusa.org

Y XDNA as far as I know several types of masternodes. What is the difference?
Do you mean: light, medium and full nodes? From the number of coins required to start the masternode.

Exactly, and ofcourse the rewards are relatively different too.
We call this system "Triple Node Technology", T.N.T. for short.
You can read more about it here: https://xdna.io/triplenodetechnology/
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]XDNA-Revolution in mining|GPU ONLY HEX algo|Charity Support|NoICO|Cryptopia on: October 03, 2018, 02:20:10 PM
But it is more profitable to mine obscure coins.
Little-known coins may be more profitable to mine, but where to put them then? It is not always possible to sell them. And miners need to pay huge bills for electricity.
We're active in crypto-bridge and Cryptopia, you can easily sell your mined coins there.
Another option is to save them and buy a Masternode, XDNA has set up a revolutionized Masternode system with 3 different levels. The entry point is as low as 1000 XDNA which should be easy to obtain even with mining alone.

Personally, I'd advise every miner to act in a balanced way... for example: Sell a few coins if your operating costs are high. Save some coins so that you can invest in a Masternode while the prices are still low (why sell everything at the bottom?). And when it'll be available (soon), you'll be able to see some charity actions from our Foundation site and donate some coins for a cause you'd like to support.

The ultimate XDNA is interesting for miners. After all, the income from the mining of this XDNA coin is almost 2 times higher than the income from the mining of Etherium!

Wait until stronger ASICs take over the mining of Ethereum and then do the calculation again!

Has someone already contacted the project team? I would like to talk with developers. This is the best way to make sure that the project is not a scam.
They look into this thread but not as often as we would like ... If you have urgent questions, it’s easier for you to turn to them in a discord. They are there around the clock!
It seems to me that even without communication with the team, it is clear that XDNA is a very serious and promising project!

Erm... guys... Am I invisible? Grin
I'm not part of the Development Team but I'm still part of XDNA Team as a community manager!

I'm reporting to the core team all the important ideas and the general "feeling" of the community. For example I've made them clear that you're requesting more focus on the marketing and a new bounty campaign, they're working on both and you'll have updates soon.
They're still looking at this thread and reading your comments, but they've trusted me with answering all your questions! Wink

Personally, it seems to me that now there are really not enough projects like XDNA. There are a lot of projects related to gaming,  gambling and artificial intelligence. However, this project will creat really important product.

Thank you! Smiley

For me, I find it funny when some dev teams use the term "artificial intelligence" on projects just because it sounds cool. There was a time (until a few years ago) when you could call anything "AI", like in video games you'd either play online against players or a singleplayer against "AI" enemies.
But nowadays, when you see the term "AI" people think of clever systems like image/voice recognition, automatic driving, image quality up-scaling and other such functions which are based on neural networks and deep learning. I have yet to see a true AI based blockchain project.

Guys, to continue stably receive the rewards from MN and have no problems with the synchronization,
UPDATE your wallets as soon as possible to VERSION 1.2.1.0

https://github.com/XDNA-Core/XDNA/releases/tag/v1.2.1.0

To update it on your VPS type this command in one line
Quote
xdna-cli stop && rm -rf ~/.xdna/blocks && rm -rf ~/.xdna/chainstate && rm -rf ~/.xdna/database && rm -rf XDNA-InstallMN && git clone https://github.com/XDNA-Core/XDNA-InstallMN && cd XDNA-InstallMN && bash update_node.sh
New wallet out? This is great news. Although I did not have comments on the work of the previous version.
As far as I know, this version of the wallet corrects some inaccuracies that turned out to be in the last release that came out yesterday. The team responded very quickly.
That is correct! Smiley

However since this is not a hardfork, people can run different wallet versions and still be in the same network. Overall this is not a problem, but sometimes the wallet could get stuck. To solve this simply restart the wallet and it'll update.
When everyone updates or in the next hard fork which is planned in less than a month, this "stucking" will be solved.

And does the XDNA project not plan to launch the second part of the company's bounty?
unfortunately, the second part of the bounty, it is very rare, and if the main bounty is already completed, you are already late
And does the XDNA project not plan to launch the second part of the company's bounty?
In late August, ended the bounty company. You late. About the continuation so far I have not heard anything.

It seems like this thread is moving so fast that people are missing some updates, so let me repeat what Gunbit said! Wink

...

According to bounty campaign #2 , we will run it in Q4 and the main subject will be our P2P working platform - XDNA Foundation.
