"To help ease you into the market, look for well-known vendors such as Butterfly Labs (BFL) and KnC."

He got the well known part right lol.

Laughed when i see "trusted vendor" and "butterfly labs" together.
I trust BFL.

Now and forever.

I am attempting to set the all-time record for no gear. I am closing in on 300 days . My Money was sent in March of 2013 I got nothing so far. Fulll disclosure I converted my order from 2 jallys to a 50th cloud order. Due in feb of 2014 that will make 11 months .  I hope that they open their cloud in June putting me into the 450 day range.

At least you've got humor about it.

Motherboard does not do hashes... That's based of number and model of your GPU Smiley

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware advice for 1-2 BitCoin a month for the newbs on: December 22, 2013, 09:40:51 PM
the new vid cards are 950-1000
if your budget's that low, just buy a few coins and hold onto them.
A decent Alt rig right now will cost 4 grand or more to get you 4Mh...

1270  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BTC-E CODE on: December 22, 2013, 08:39:50 PM
Exchanged $ 6000 btc-e code for skrill. Since the new man without reviews had to break 10 transactions.
Everything went fine. Thx

How do you break a "btc-e" code into 10 transactions?

IMO this is a fake vouch, probably the same user as OP.
Be careful!

Тotaling 10 shared parts and bought the same codes in turn sharing. You accuse man in what he did not even know to register at the beginning of BTС-E.com and see how it's done, schoolboy.

You and your only newb voucher use the same broken ass english. and you insult another member who is suspicious.

Yup you seem legit.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware advice for 1-2 BitCoin a month for the newbs on: December 22, 2013, 07:33:56 PM
This may be feasible. http://cointerra.com/shop/ TerraMiner IV. I spoke with my boss about working out a deal. He's been interested about BitCoin and asked if I knew anything about it. I pointed him to that page. Would be pretty cool if he decided to invest with me. Anyone know about this company and if as good as it looks?

Bud, you need to do more research, that company is fine, but they are also back dating until spring now. which means you'll be hard pressed to make an ROI.
You need to be in on the first level of pre orders for the latest Hardware to make it worth it.

Your essentially asking us "how can I spend 2 grand today and make a grand a month return". you can't.
1272  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: BlackArrow => Scam or not? on: December 22, 2013, 04:14:17 PM

1273  Other / Off-topic / Constantly expanding Torrent Project?? on: December 22, 2013, 03:02:53 PM
I had a thought, after looking at the blockchain torrent and a few other's.

In theory would this be a plausible idea?

A group of people get together, settle on a Movie rip rate/quality. Say Legi0n's BDrip's in 720p (for example)

Original person put's together a huge movie folder of sorted movies, with cover, movie detais etc. all ready to rip on XBMC for example.

Than post's the torrent file, it is shared, many others host the full thing.
Than the original poster get's a new movie. Rather than post the new movie torrent, he adds to the folder, update's info and look etc. and repost's original Torrent.

Than everyone grab's new torrent, recheck's and goes on.

At some point maybe it's to be for many people so they selectively download specific movies?

But I'm a collector with 8TB of storage and plan's to expand. I'm trying to find a way to have a constantly updated and quality movie archive. And it seems silly to me that thousands of people do the same thing over and over (download, rename, sort, download data).

Could this work? Be a way to create a Bit based shared coin system that allows this?

Thank's for reading the talkings of a mad man Smiley

1275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 21, 2013, 07:47:25 PM
March 10th 2014 is a new batch 1 date or its batch 2?
Just to clarify.  Is round 1 batch 1 still projected for February 24, 2014 shipping?

Absolutely.
I'm sorry but I'm a little bit confused to be honest.

So at this point in time, the official shipping date still remains at February 24, 2014. However, we should expect for the product to no sooner than March 10, 2014. Am I reading this right?

Batch 1 is still being filled. Those who ordered when the date said Feb 24th 2014 will have their orders shipped starting on Feb 24th 2014. Those who order when the date says March 10th 2014 will have their orders shipped starting March 10th 2014.

Ugh Sorry Matt than you should be calling this Batch 2, having two different ship date's on Batch 1 is a huge difference.
Not getting my miner shipped until march 10th and your charging the SAME for the product?
That cut's thousands off potential profit.
Especially after flooding the market with batch one?

it's still the first batch of chips. It's 2 weeks difference.

....
2 weeks difference is a margin of $6,000 return or more.... those first two-four weeks are the crucial ROI of the product.
I waited to order being told plenty were left, when in fact plenty were not left over for the first order. but for a two week delay.
I can't see buying at this point.

The only way to consistently make bitcoins is to constantly buy new HW and upgrade.
