1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! | Now with Mac wallet! on: September 06, 2014, 08:15:30 AM
I am officially getting a hard attack every 2 months or so because of my coffeecoin holdings are showed with about

 Shocked 10k $ per 1 million CFC2  Shocked

in cryptonator. Do you know, where that is comming from? there is no trade at these rates in any of the exchanges...
last time it was even more. I think it was 50k $ per million or so.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 04, 2014, 11:34:19 PM
everybody begins with an equal opportunity

This is true as long as you:

1: Have money
2: Already know about cryptos.

The same can be said about a company that releases an stock IPO, if you have the money and know about the IPO then you have an equal opportunity.

I would like to hear plans for NEM on how it will get average joe involved. Do you expect them to buy NEM when they have no clue what it is or how it works?
How will people in third world countries get NEM?

Maybe I am misunderstanding what the NEM movement is, is it to help all people with financial freedom and equality of opportunity or just the ones that can afford it?

Actually for NEM you didn't need money, if you jumped in at the first step. And you had a long time for doing that.

I'm not talking about myself, you totaly missed my point.

In english you does not only mean you but also one or people.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / cryptocoins compared to programming languages on: September 04, 2014, 11:10:21 PM
I came up with a nice illustration about cryptocurrencies.
I am just thinking about it was, as the first web backend programming languages came out and try to compare them with the cryptocurrencies.
So in my opinion will be:

Bitcoin -> Perl
Litecoin -> PHP
NXT -> Java
BitsharesX -> C#
Bytecoin/Monero -> Python
Ethereum -> Node.Js

any other views? ;-)
And... how many Languages do you think have a chance to survive?
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin just hit $2,21 on: September 04, 2014, 10:46:49 PM

I don't understand why Litecoin holders let Litecoin die.
They didn't change the algo when it was time.
Litecoin is the most useless of all atlcoins because all altcoin are based on Litecoin but most of altcoin try hard to innovate.
It is an ultra competitive market, they had the first mover advantage and the funds but they didn't add any feature since Litecoin launched.
How can you be so spoiled and lazy ?
Now they lost over 90% of their investment. Good job.

it was just the time for it. Now will be the time for raising. just look on it last year. it was the same...
Litecoin will come back... at least this time.

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 04, 2014, 09:26:01 PM
when is the launch?

Just to clarify things a bit. Our dev team is working very hard to put things together and prepare for beta. Things are looking good at the moment as we are expecting beta features to hopefully be ready and implemented sometime by the end of September. That is the time when official beta will start. Once beta features are implemented and beta begins, a very important period of about 2-3 weeks of testing will follow, after which, if everything goes well, the long awaited distribution of real NEM coins and launch of NEM will happen. Again if everything goes well, distribution should happen sometime between 15-22 October.

Please note, however, that the above information is not set in stone and could be subject to change if anything unexpected should happen.

ooooohh an ETA  Shocked
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 04, 2014, 05:24:00 PM
Anyone else having problems with the NXT wallet?  I want to buy more NEMstake, but it seems to be downloading the blockchain for the last couple of days.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

when did you update/restart last time?
seems an old issue, that should be already fixed.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 04, 2014, 03:43:28 PM

Please skip it. Maybe you can pay an additional dev with it. Something like milestone payment for defined goals.

+1

The AE is already giving the chance to everyone to acquirer stakes. Use the remaining stakes to ensure current/future development of NEM.
Agree, use remaining stakes for development too.

+1 for funding future development/paying devs/what ever is needed.

+1. And possibly gifting a few to famous/important crypto people. A few stakes could also be used for promo/marketing on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc..

good option.
another option would be to burn it.

You should try it out sometime.
Why? Did I miss something important skimming?

1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blowing the lid off the CryptoNote/Bytecoin scam (with the exception of Monero) on: August 21, 2014, 10:52:19 PM
I knew it! Thank you rethink-your-strategy :-)

Cryptonote devs confirmed that BCN has community from the beginning, not as big as nowadays , but still there was a bcn community who mined it.
https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11&start=10

show me ANY page that exists before November 2013... the bytecoin.org is proven to be not existent!

Well, revision history shows that Bytecoin wiki page has been around since 2012
Prooflink: https://wiki.bytecoin.org/index.php?title=Structures&action=history

the page www.bytecoin.org shows also entries from 2012 that were not there last year:
http://web.archive.org/web/20131113093900/http://bytecoin.org/

so your link does also not proof, that this page was availabe. I am talking from ANOTHER page but the fakey bytecoin.org.

1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 17, 2014, 11:12:11 PM
The bitcoin it`s going down cause the Ethereum team it`s dumping all the BTC! They dumped 1,150 bitcoins 5 days ago when the price was $590, 1,350 3 days ago when the price was $550, and now they have dumped 1,237 more TODAY when the price was $510, that`s why we went down 500usd and we are going to $450... Fucking Ethereum, stop killing the bitcoin.

https://blockchain.info/es/address/36PrZ1KHYMpqSyAQXSG8VwbUiq2EogxLo2?filter=1

They have still 23882 bitcoin to dump?  Shocked They want really destroy bitcoin.

I wish I had not invested in Ethereum!!

sorry, but if they really dumped that all now, I have to doubt on their brains...

1. Bitcoin is down. You don't sell if something is down
2. Why the hell do they badly need more than a million at once?
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! | Now with Mac wallet! on: August 16, 2014, 05:24:30 AM
Who would have thought that CFC2 will come back to life after several weeks of low trade volume. But still this coin need more buy support to maintain it's strong momentum.

for sure everyone who sold at this low rates will bite his ass, if we are back at 100 satoshi ;-)
1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. CryptoCurrency build from SCRATCH on NODE.JS - Brand NEW! on: August 14, 2014, 05:50:58 PM
Windows? Mac? An open source project with no Linux client... is this serious?

as it is node, it will probably run everywhere... like java
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! | Now with Mac wallet! on: August 14, 2014, 10:51:41 AM

1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! | Now with Mac wallet! on: August 12, 2014, 06:02:45 PM

Thank you, message sent. I have a soft spot for HBN; that is the coin that initially taught me about POS.

What happened to the orange coin dev?

No one knows. OrangecoinDev has even disappeared from his own thread for a long time (Last Active: July 03)

But he did leave a working Orangecoin client that doesn't need any fix and is still running well

Back to our coffeecoin, glad to hear that more and more shareholders has been able to get their coins on staking. At least the coffeecoin network is now more secure than before  Wink
that's good news, out of all bad news.

yea, looks also we are getting a little volume in the market after all
1278  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: i want to give 100 BTC to one user on bitcointalk. tell me why it is U. on: August 07, 2014, 04:28:59 PM

Noone deserves free money, so as noone will get something, it fits Wink
