12801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good Alts? on: July 20, 2015, 01:17:47 PM
Try Monero or Diamond coin. Diamond is a proof of stake crypto with 50% interest per year. Plus, it has a supply of 4.38 million (less than Bitcoin) making it a rare crypto currency. So, eventually the price would increase as it gets closer to 4.38 million.  Cheesy

Also, I recommend Monero as right now it is a coin with great potential. It has Cryptonote algorithm and as of now the price is cheap so it's recommended to invest in this coin.  Cool
12802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How a perfect crypto-currency would be on: July 20, 2015, 01:05:20 PM
Since the creation of Bitcoin, the way we deal with money has been revolutionized making a decentralized system without the need to interfere with banks or middlemen. However until today, Bitcoin nor other alt coins have proven to be a perfect crypto-currency.

If we'd think of a perfect crypto-currency we would have one that had all of the best features in one single coin. Below, is a suggested list of features that a perfect crypto-currency would have:

1. Decentralized (of course)

2. Cryptonote algorithm (ASIC resistant, cpu minable)

3. Proof of Work and Proof of Stake (you could either mine them or stake them)

4. Stable price (just like NuBits (NBT) )

5. Integrated escrow (no need for escrow services, the same is provided by the network within the coin's wallet)

6. Mine right from the wallet software.

7. Supply of 5 to 10 million coins (just a suggestion)

8. Compressed Blockchain Data (no need to wait hours for wallet to sync. The Blockchain data would be compressed, thus synchronization time would take around 10 to 15 minutes)

9. No premine

10. Instant network confirmations (at the moment of making a transaction, there's no need to wait 15 or 30 minutes for the same to be confirmed)

If there's any other feature that I forgot to list here, please feel free post it here. Also, correct me if I stated something wrong. I would like to know what would you think about such currency.
12803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencys are the best to invest in for the future? on: July 20, 2015, 12:52:08 PM
You might look into Monero. This type of crypto currency has a lot of potential. The price right now is cheap so now is the perfect time to buy more and then sell them when the price goes up.
12804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: July 20, 2015, 12:41:41 PM
I think Bitcoin will stay as the top crypto, but I'm hoping that Monero goes up to become second in market cap.  Cool

How much BTC do you have now ?

As of now, I have 0.03398223 BTC.

How much did you spent?

I spent 0.073376 BTC in Hashnest.

How much did you lost or scammed by someone?

I've lost 0.293403 BTC after being scammed by cloudminr.io, Hash Profit and GAW Miners. I invested serious amount of BTC just to get scammed by these services. So after this, I've learned a valuable lesson. Now I'm buying Bitcoins and holding them so hopefully the price increases and I could earn some profit. Also, I've invested in cloud mining from Hashnest recently.

we already have the monero speculation thread... why was this thread made?

Didn't knew there was already a monero speculation thread at the time of writing. Just made this thread to give an probable cause for Monero's increase in value. Thanks for your reply.  Wink
12814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Predictions on: July 18, 2015, 01:02:17 AM
Monero will die just like all the other Altcoins. Invest in BTC and save yourself all the stress. (just my opinion)

Perhaps not all alt coins will die. Most of them provide innovative technologies such as: Proof of Stake, price stability, Cryptonote and more. Alt coins that will probably stay in the long term would be Monero, Litecoin, Nubits and Hyper. I dunno. I'm just opining.

12817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin compared with Monero on: July 17, 2015, 05:37:50 PM
Hmm let me see...Bitcoin or Monero? I'll choose Monero as my favorite crypto.
12818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Predictions on: July 17, 2015, 05:23:12 PM
I am a Monero stakeholder. I am not that optimistic as you (meaning the rise of 10,000x) but where do you get the certainity that Monero will rise that much? Just a guess or do you have proofs?

I'm just guessing. Monero could the next the Bitcoin or maybe not. Only time will tell.
12819  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hamburger or Pizza on: July 17, 2015, 05:02:18 PM
My funny question would be is there any online store that ships pizza world wide hahaha

Perhaps. Maybe there is an online store where you can order pizza and hamburgers with Bitcoin. That would be awesome...lol  Grin
12820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 17, 2015, 04:59:13 PM
Monero to the moon! This coin will probably increase in price in the next months. Thus, I'm going to start holding them today.
