Ok, how to proceed?
1302  Economy / Goods / Re:  [WTS] Lealana 1LTC Physical Coins UNREDEEMED x20 on: May 02, 2014, 05:01:39 AM
Earlier in the post I offered 100. And rejected 45, so how would 46 be sufficient.  If you are not serious don't post.

I was absolutely serious.
The issue is that you have a scammer which has created a nick close to yours and is contacting people directly via messages for 50 LTC along with a payment address.

So, it makes it appear as if you are agreeing to a deal directly through a PM instead.
This fake scammer is:  grandy`  (note the ` at the end).

Typically, I would request a MOD or site owner to do something, but not sure they would or could.

Note:
Hi,

Thanks for you interest in my Lealana loaded LTC I have for sale -

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=579370.0

If you can push your offer to 50 ltc then we have a deal.

Payment address -

LLhAL7dnM2USktUzsviYfh59UZVHrWGtAp

Drop me a pm with the transaction I.D and your shipping address after payment and ill get them straight in the post to you and then pm you the tracking info.

Thanks,

grandy.

I just insisted 100LTC, so pretty far.

Back to 100?
Ok, good luck.

For what it's worth, I would vouch for him as well.
Bump

If you decide to break them up I would make an offer on 2-3 of them.
I would go in on a deal with Blazed (matching).
1310  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets a new kind of physical storage for your bitcoin on: April 02, 2014, 08:47:50 PM
Would you mind if we included these on our website - OfflineWallets.com

Feel free to PM. Thanks

I looked at offlinewallets.com   Nice.
Why not list other coins as well.   Like TitanBTC.com  (Only one that I know of that is not discontinued as a physical coin).

What we have found though are some really good looking plastic slabs similar to they cases they would be placed in if they have been graded, this case would allow you to put the coin in the slab and attach the public address to the too of the slab.
What do you guys think about something like that?

Thank you for all of the feedback!

Ok, I need 5.  Depending on cost, I need 25.

Also, does this slab mean we have to remove coin from current holder?  (I would think so, since the idea is that the first 100 are special.)
1312  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets a new kind of physical storage for your bitcoin on: March 29, 2014, 05:14:20 AM
Received my 5.  Unfortunately, I don't think I will use them.

So, waiting on my roll of 20 which I WILL use (maybe).  Smiley
1313  Economy / Goods / Re: Titan Bitcoins - Physical Bitcoins with 2-factor authentication on: March 23, 2014, 11:58:43 PM
There is no issue with selling stickers and this is why:

You have to trust the person you get a physical bitcoin from, sticker or not. These things *cannot* be used as a regular currency or exchange mechanism, there will ALWAYS be a factor of trust required when transferring them, and there is no way to get around it. The utility of physical bitcoins is as a cold-storage wallet, and little else.

Anyhow, I'm redeeming mine and putting a sticker from a different company on it, because I don't trust Titan to hold the bitcoins, or anyone for that matter.

I agree that there is a factor of trust.  At this point, I only need to trust one company - Titan.
If they sold stickers, then I would have to trust everyone else with regards to the face value of the coin.

Your choice to redeem your coin is yours to make.  Why not post pictures and video on youtube so that people can see it being done.
I do wonder why you even bought a Titan if you don't trust them - Seems like a troll post to me.

I did notice you ignored the prior post about people making wallet coins in which they sell their own version of stickers so that you can seal anything you want.  It's the perfect answer to your idea of what you're trying to accomplish.

Good luck with your project.

The non numbered version that will be available for purchase as single coins or in rolls of 20 will be arriving in two weeks. We are taking pre-orders for rolls only at this time. Johnny211 has already confirmed one roll. Again only 1000 of the silver version of this coin will ever be made.

Ok, a roll for me as well.
(something something Blazed)

How much longer for the site?
Maybe I missed it.... payment methods?
1315  Economy / Goods / Re: Titan Bitcoins - Physical Bitcoins with 2-factor authentication on: March 23, 2014, 03:35:38 PM
I don't see the problem with selling stickers. Those silver qallets are priced at 3x or 4x spot value of silver, not a very good deal.

The problem is that a scammer could open up the coin, take out the value, and then use a sticker to reseal the coin.  So, an unsuspecting person might buy a coin only later to find out it has been emptied of its value (which could also happen at a future date.  If Titan starts selling their stickers, I would no longer want anything to do with them UNLESS it is a completely different sticker (Color and Text).

So, it would be possible if they produced a completely new coin - COIN WALLET or TITAN WALLET with completely different stickers that state COIN WALLET   (Open so you could use it for any coins).  This would change the entire topic as well.  I disagree with the silver wallets.  For Titan and any other kind of Silver wallet, the premium is already at or above what the Silver wallets are at.
1316  Economy / Goods / Re: Titan Bitcoins - Physical Bitcoins with 2-factor authentication on: March 22, 2014, 06:01:14 PM
If someone gives you a physical coin loaded with bitcoin, there will always be an issue of trusting the giver. What I want to do is remove the layer of trust, but still have a nice physical coin for my cold-storage.
Ummm, I would hope that Titan would NOT sell the stickers, just like Mike Chadwell (Casascius) will not sell the stickers.

You can buy a WALLET coin, instead of running off the Titan name using one of their coins with one of their stickers.

If you want a wallet coin, then it might be best to buy exactly that....

Something like:

Coins 1-36, 37, 40, 42, 44, 49, 50, 55, 69, 71, 99, and 100 have been sold

Who would have thought 69 was taken.

Can't wait for my coins.  Pictures look great.
1318  Economy / Goods / Re: Titan Bitcoins - Physical Bitcoins with 2-factor authentication on: March 22, 2014, 04:11:28 AM
I got one of your coins at the conference in Austin. I'd like to convert this coin into a cold-wallet with my own generated private key. Can I just buy one of your holograms?

Heh,
That would really enable the use of scams if people could simply buy the stickers and put on any coin.  Not saying you would, but....
Scammer would love to put his own stickers on and sell them.  Then sweep all the keys he sold at a later date only to make Titan look bad.

Why not simply use the serial on the site to get the public key and put as many bitcoins on to the coin that you want?

The cert looks nice.

However, personally, I don't like a website on it to reflex a reseller instead of the manufacturer.

How about the manufacturer create (or back) the certs and a site like what was done for casascius with uberbills.
1320  Economy / Goods / Re: Titan Bitcoins - Physical Bitcoins with 2-factor authentication on: March 16, 2014, 07:59:36 AM
I got a bunch of them.  VERY Happy with my collection.
