1322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bots vs. Humans - What's better for a signature campaign? on: June 17, 2015, 07:52:54 AM
I think Humans are better, Bots rely on rules established in a script and they follow those rules quite well but users might still find ways to abuse those rules and take advantage of them. As you yourself mentioned that a human is still needed to check posts for quality etc. for campaigns managed by bots and it's because they can't manage those things all by themselves, no matter how developed or sophisticated they are.

Plus participants from time to time have lots of queries that a Bot can't answer. And which is why I would prefer to join a campaign that's managed by a human rather than a bot.

PS: you should add a Poll.
1323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Faster BTC confirmation time on: June 17, 2015, 07:33:32 AM
The standard fee only ensures that your Transaction will get picked in the next upcoming block, if the Tx Fee is less than recommended it might get picked within 6 blocks or more, so the only way to make sure that you get 1 confirmation asap is to add the standard fee, the rest of the confirmations depend on the block timings and they're the same for all the transactions.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] You'll sell your BTC @ what price ? on: June 17, 2015, 07:27:05 AM
I use bitcoin for shopping or gambling, i will sell it if only i need fiat
So, i just wait & see

Same I would only sell if I had no use for it which I don't think will ever happen because a) I don't hold too many bitcoins in the first place and b) I don't think I'll ever stop gambling online and bitcoin is so very easy to bet and receive back without any need of third party payment instruments, same goes for shopping for digital goods.
1325  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women Who Call Out God's Name During Intercourse Should Be Jailed on: June 17, 2015, 06:59:37 AM
Quote
That is one of the filthiest, most derogatory and sinful uses of the Lord’s name I can think of. If it were up to me, I would put every single woman or girl who does that in jail. That would be a fine example of God’s wrath aimed at what is, in my opinion, a terrible misuse of our Maker’s good name.”

Some one should tell this moron that the sex was made by so called "God" himself, if he didn't wanted us to fuck he wouldn't have given us the organs for it and we would have been Asexual Animals instead and then we would fuck ourselves.

I think it's nice to remember the creator when you're using the stuff he created, it's sort of like appreciation of him that we're thankful that you made this for us. And women should be rewarded not jailed for doing it. (Oh my god, it feels so good..)
1326  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Hacked but would like to know what happened on: June 17, 2015, 06:39:18 AM
I've looked. Fairly sure it's a lost public key. As I do not keep my keys in the same place it got lost somewhere in the ether. The coins are fine, but I cannot access them. So just a ye olde be cautious how you store your keys story. I take care of my Bitcoin, but this one is just an old fashioned fuck up on my part.

I don't consider it a major loss. It was not a hack. Just dumb on my part. Maybe a good time for everyone to have a look and make sure everything is in order. Nothing I can do, but all my own idiocy.

I am a little confused, if the change address belong to the same wallet in your electrum from which you sent the funds to bitfinex or wherever then you should control the funds in that change address, have you tried "send from" just right click on the address and select send from and send the money 'to' the address you are sure of that you control.

If not, export the keys and it should contain the private key of the change address as well. I think you should move this thread to electrum, someone might know a way to get hold of your funds.
1327  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need advice and help with a big IF! on: June 16, 2015, 04:44:01 AM
It's not right to take advantage of a site's bug like that, the best think you should do is contact the site owner, make a deal prior to telling them about the bug, if you don't trust them, use an escrow and then let them know the bug and take the bounty.

If you do this, many site owners will hire you to test bugs on their sites and you can earn legit income, but you have to do the right thing first.
1328  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 16, 2015, 04:18:45 AM
Ever since I started using shapeshift I don't even bother to go into traditional exchanges, I don't trade too often but when I do have to I just use that to quickly exchange my coins. But for the coins that are not listed there I use Bittrex.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 04:14:44 AM
Until now I have never taken any BTC loans, never felt the need to, I know a local trader who is always available whenever I need to buy some and I hope it never comes to that I need to take a loan in BTC, I find it embarrassing to ask for a loan honestly.
1330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest win you've got in a single bet? on: June 16, 2015, 04:09:28 AM
The biggest win from a single bet for me would be 0.66 and it was not on any dice or other casino games but it was a sports bet that I won not long back. The biggest win in one hand at dice for me is 0.02 with only 10k Satoshi bet.
1331  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any poker freerolls now? on: June 16, 2015, 04:06:46 AM
I remember Luckyflop use to have 5mBTC hourly freerolls at one time but I visited the lobby some time back and there were only 1mBTC freerolls running, so I guess they stopped those. And 1mBTC freerolls are not worth the effort put into them, it's better OP if you start playing the GTDs, although all these tourneys are usually donkfests.
1332  Economy / Gambling / Re: flutterclub.com | licensed cryptocurrency sportsbook & casino | claim 100% bonus on: June 16, 2015, 04:01:03 AM
he disconnected already as far as i can see, i think its risky to try and deposit now as there are no details about it

Hi there, I have played for a couple of months at flutterclub, mostly sports betting (premier league) but have tried casino a few times when bored (and drunk!!!!) Never had any issues with deposits/withdrawals....took some comfort in the fact they are licensed in the EU!
What does it mean 'they are licensed in the EU' exactly? What are the benefit of licensed casino over non licensed one? I gathered from my experience that normal users don't care usually if the casino is licensed or not.

I think the real incentive of a licensed casino over a non licensed one is that they will not run away with user's funds and they have to comply with the state's responsible gaming law. But I don't know if there license extend to BTC gambling.

1334  Economy / Gambling / Re: what way did you earn your 1st bitcoin! on: June 16, 2015, 03:48:21 AM
I actually didn't win anything from BTC gambling so far, if I calculate everything, I'd be in loss of around 2 BTC but if you're asking how did I earn my 1st BTC, I bought it.
1335  Economy / Economics / Re: Has The Lower Price Really Been Great For Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 03:24:29 AM
I don't know if it has been great for bitcoin as some people think that it will continue to sink from this price but it has helped people like me who earlier weren't able to afford to buy one and since it has dropped  I have bought one (in parts) and spent it and am planning to buy more.
1336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If carrying a copy of the blochain were optional... on: June 16, 2015, 03:21:56 AM
I think Mycelium will be best for you OP or if you just need to accept bitcoins for now and just want to hold them then you should consider looking into paper wallets as they're best for cold storage and long term holding.

But if you just want an app than out of the ones already mentioned Mycelium is one I would suggest, it has all the feature one needs.
1337  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: June 16, 2015, 03:16:01 AM
Yes it is a big problem but we cannot help it as bitcoin is decentralised so how can one have control over it and how one can know where the person is using bitcoin. Every coin has two sides and same is with bitcoin someone will use it for good purpose and someone will not.
Decentralization bitcoin is controlled by bitcoin community, and ID bitcoin will not disturb the decentralization of bitcoin. ID bitcoin only for simplify bitcoin wallet address and give trust Identity bitcoin wallet address. If bitcoin can give trust, anyone can feel safe making transactions with bitcoin, and the end,....all countries will not reject bitcoin as a payment system. This is FUTURE of Bitcoin..for now and later!!!!

This is true, this will enable more users to safely use bitcoin, will control the money laundering and all the bad things associated with it and may also help in stopping the run away scams done by companies for now they think no one will be able to track them down but if this were to happen people/businesses will not be able to fraud so easily. It might also stop theft.

1339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Possible solution for paypal trading ? on: June 14, 2015, 09:00:42 PM
Even if you transfer the paypal funds to your bank account, the sender can still say that his account was hacked and/or he didn't received the product he was to received and then your account is frozen and paypal may file a complaint against you that you stole funds and take legal actions.

Definitely a unique and out of the box idea, let's see how it goes though as I have some doubts in my mind that some disagreements might arise. Let me know when you have some promotions planned and I'll give it a shot. GL
