I will likely say that decentralized exchange are not too porous to hackers because there is not too much concentration on retention or safe where  holders store their crypto assets or funds compared to the centralized exchange which is always a target for scammers and hackers.
Maybe got a point. But if we are talking about incident, we cant really exclude even dex or cex. Of course its much safer for dex since a lot of people focuses on cex. But if the security they have still not strong enough to prevent someone to penetrate then it still be possible. Anyway OPs question really have a tight answer anyway.
1342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: General Crypto on: July 06, 2023, 03:23:36 PM
When was Bisq hacked? Prove this.
This was announced last time and even on the news. Not sure why you arent familiar.

Anyway found a source:
https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2020/04/08/hacker-exploits-flaw-in-decentralized-bitcoin-exchange-bisq-to-steal-250k/

Anything online can be hacked, I agree, but the decentralized exchanges that are hacked are those that support staking and something like that, that attracts hackers.
So bisq doesnt support staking? If not why they got hacked before? Surely you cant be bias about dex that doesnt offers staking cant be hack. There are no exception and thats the fact. Even the most genius person in the world creating a 100% proof of defense against hacker can still be compromise.

OP's question btw is kinda stiff. Since he ask for unhackable platform? Maybe the best answer there are those platforms that have no record of hacked or breached before isnt it. At least they can brag that.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Linea Voyager Quest Discussion on: July 06, 2023, 03:11:34 PM
Bumping for everyone who joined the linea testnet quest.

The project announced their last and final week for testnet.

https://twitter.com/LineaBuild/status/1676939036911599617?t=xwk4mk-6c8sJVNkE2bM81Q&s=19

Surely everyone here have their hard time especially on week 8th. I myself didnt completed all of it. The task are really headache especially the network is clogged during the time I was doing. It ate a lot of lineaeth just to finish mostly of the task.
1344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: General Crypto on: July 06, 2023, 02:19:58 PM
What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
Not sure there was a platform that are untouchable. Even decentralized exchanges got hacked too.

Decentralized exchanges like Bisq.
This got hacked before. So even decentralized and centralized can both be hacked. Its just depend how smart those hackers and evolve to the point they can even crack even the hardest one to penetrate.

For trading. All have risk, either of the two. But in terms of holding or storing of course decentralized is much safer.
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BRC-69 tokens, a new standard in Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 09:36:43 AM
The NFT-related things within Bitcoin blockchain should be better swayed away. There is a better approach if someone, especially a company/project, wants to build things directly on Bitcoin.
Can you share those options or approach? I believe we cant do newer project on bitcoin chain since its a proof of work and does not utilize any smart contract. So therefore, company cant issued their own tokens using bitcoin. Might as well proceed with alts if thats the cas elike erc20 on eth or other L1. Ordinals inscription on bitcoin is quite different from nft.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the SENECA Blockchain project? on: July 06, 2023, 08:51:30 AM
Wow it seems this is a fresh meat. Will gladly do some reviews OP. It seems they are pretty smart to launch on zk environment to bring some hype from an initial standoff.

The gap on the price too is kinda huge. Ive just seen this today, does the 100k pool size for first round havent done yet? If its about AI related then its a hype one, hope the team isnt using those tagline for visibility and actually building something.
1347  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to get mod jobs on any crypto platforms on: July 06, 2023, 06:09:11 AM
I have seen many people working as moderator or mod for social media platforms like discord, telegram, forums, etc. how to get that kind of jobs easily and what maybe the process of getting a job like this.

and also share your experience, if you ever worked at this type of job like how you got that job and what was the process, what strategy you used to qualify for that job.
The moderators job handling community inquiry basically answer all questions regarding the project you are in for that group. So basically the skills needed for that are your communication experience in terms of language speaking either its native or english. Of course thats also included some experience on how to handle technicals on particular platform like telegram and discords. Its hard to compete with this if you dont have background for that.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big memecoin with a great motto to never give up on: July 05, 2023, 04:16:50 PM
It may sound noble project but thosw developers even with experimental project have the agenda to earn profit with it. We seen a lot of experimental gone viral before and mades tons of profits. Any objective or narrative isnt the importance on trading these memecoins but the hype around it. Dozens of shills from CT and even good liquidity and trading volume, thats all it needs to become a top tier memecoin.
1349  Economy / Exchanges / Re: multi account on binance with same ip on: July 05, 2023, 02:17:57 PM
is it allowed to open two accounts with same ip,  two account of different house members like two brothers with same phone.

i searched but not got any specific answer of this question. please answer if anyone of you handle two different binance account with same phone or same IP.
Thats super strict if using a trading account would be restricted upon family members. Of course they would allow that, a business like that encourage more users and in a house with 5 or more users using the same internet isnt an issue. Besides, they would do their own KYC at all even though they are using the same IP. I believe they only restricting accounts with suspicious deposits and withdrawal that are linked with known scam wallet address or notorious sites.
1350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: July 05, 2023, 11:52:45 AM
I guess OP would have thought of many ways on how he could get some merits if such could be allowed by the forum
Maybe his curious. Buying and selling of merits arent allowed, but doing for accounts is not advisable. This statement means its allow but dont discourage. If some of these guys wanted that merits badly, then they can just bought accounts with smerits. However without prohibiting the trading of accounts, this kind of modus wouldnt stop. So this rule must be created in order to avoid exchanging of merits.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold-Backed cryptocurrency with Passive Income on: July 05, 2023, 08:41:26 AM
Everything will be visible for sure, including purchase documents. Can't do it it anonymously.

Only me leading the way and in charge of all processes. There are people that help me and there are those who I outsource. There is no room for clash of interests between part owners for the big project like this.
Let see. Just do it first mate, Im not judging you for all the project sake. Its gonna be shown if its really have potential. Actually dont mind the liquidity itself, if you arent worried. Pretty sure that you spend your own money on this, but be prepared to lose more since developing a project in crypto doesnt come cheap if you are dead serious about innovation especially you are relating your project with gold back currency.
1352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How was the creation of bitcoin who came up with the idea on: July 05, 2023, 07:14:14 AM
Am a newbie I have been bothered lately about this question on how was the creation of bitcoin who came up with the idea, his name, why and where was it created
Why bothered OP? Since its a decentralized project, the who and where questions arent important aspect to know. The question why, though was apparently said that the creator (Satoshi) wanted to build and spread this amazing bitcoins to use for peer to peer transactions without interactions of third party people. Well still works today, but improved or affected by a lots of third party either for the better or worse outcome.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the USD loose it's kingship? Who will it loose it to? on: July 04, 2023, 10:52:02 AM
My question is that with the way many powerful and influential countries are now dumping the USD, will it cause a significant reduced trading volume that will make the dollar no longer to be the most relevant currency in the foreign exchange market?
Not really cauwe we knew that US still the number 1 country when it comes to currency. Yes there may be significant downfall on their side, but knowing them? I doubt it. Id imagine that they could do anything that could boost their currency's value. This may be a long path but they will eventually bounce back everytime. You think China or Russia could surpass them? Maybe at somepoint but we also can see how competitive the USD it is.
1354  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Has A Lower Value In Binance on: July 04, 2023, 07:24:47 AM
What the Hell is going on?  The value of Bitcoin in the Binance app is $29,125 but when I Google it, its $31,323?!?!?
Its just that the app is not updated or the Google might be delay? Which one could be more accurate to see, but if in Google its says 31k then probably a glitch on binance app. Before I can see that too, cause the app is lagging or having some sort of error. Anyway it could not be so far from the difference.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance 11th LUNC burn: 2.65 billion tokens destroyed on: July 03, 2023, 09:34:32 AM
As much as I wanted to degen on this. Kinda hard to pull off or get back the reputation of terra luna and to its founder Do Kwon. Compared to SBF this guy is worse than him. He deliberately ignore all feedbacks and suggestion to him way back. The luna community has a good one but the founder choose to let go of that. Unfortunately terra leaves a bad imprint on defi products. So everyone will pretty have some careful thoughts before going in to lots of defi projects.
1356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which one of this is important most? on: July 03, 2023, 08:05:50 AM
For me reputation. If this go down then whats the purpose of your merit? As a person who have it. This is a biggest achievement since if you establish a nice reputation whether you are low rank or high rank, its show how important you are in the forum and that means that other people are respecting you. Merits can come eventually and its based on your quality post or response. But reputation is something you build with your character and thats not easy to attain.
1357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The exit plan on: July 03, 2023, 07:15:46 AM
As a crypto investor that desire to make huge profit through Cryptocurrency, there is 100% need to know what exit plan is and how to effect it appropriately. I know most of us are not too experience in the Crypto line and it is best to learn from those with this experiencial knowledge.
Buy low sell high. This is the typical idea for an exit plan. That means you just buy a token or coin at certain level hold it for a while and sell either its 2x 3x 10x or more. Depends on your level of apetite. This is quite risky, especially if you are a newbie however, a medium tier risk taker could gain a lot as long as you arent greedy or willing to risk some of your money. Dont be so confident, it could also weigh a loss on your end but thats on you to take in.
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold-Backed cryptocurrency with Passive Income on: July 03, 2023, 06:44:35 AM
We are talking about individual cases that break the standard perceptions, but if you look at the whole situation, many projects that start their way on DEX, they end up there, or go to CEXs, which are little-known compared to those CEXs that we are used to hearing about.
Oh yeah. Anyway if you are using dex on uniswap, pancakeswap and other popular one its not hard to get which one is next on binance target for listing. Im pretty sure I mentioned particular one here. Im not a saint but pretty obvious, that they will list them anytime sooner.

Want some potential listing insight? You heard of pendle finance? Not listed on major cex but only on dexes. Im not gonna suprise, one day Binance will list and other big ones. Its not just about how they start but how impactful they leave marks on community. Thats how hype and potential projects on dex become a cex aces.
Surely I did mentioned it and look they just did.

https://twitter.com/binance/status/1675752423057489921?t=V2-R9y9efS0mdKAR11Hl8w&s=19

Well I can see a lot of others like this potential on binance too. Some are even memes and very early on dexes too. Anyway will just keep it for myself, as dont want to make some speculation and blame me for you said it will get list. Just do your own. I can sense 3 to 5 projects that are good on dexes now including that. Well its up to anyone to find that out. So I disagree with you about dex project rarely got listed. You just need to look for those potential. Surely you know that not all are capable of that but why look on those shitty one observed those potential ones. If I could see few of them then its not so rare to happen after all.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 02:25:10 PM
I don't think it's about the network. What OP needs is something stablecoin that is based on Bitcoin or it is pegged just like USDT which is 1:1 pegged with the US dollar.
For me, if you want a stablecoin that it must be pegged 1:1 from the original currency. Which for me that's the common issue of stablecoins we have now, some got some issue with transparency like it's not 100% backed by the currency.
Oh my bad. Its quite hard to trust those stablecoin and we dont sure if they are really pegged to the currency itself. There are many cases like stablecoins have been depegged on theit value. If based on Bitcoin then its gonna be much harder I think.

Any stable out there that close to what OP might suggesting?
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 01:24:37 PM
You mean like usdt on ethereum network? But bitcoin isnt a smart contract type of crypto so it would not be a good idea to have a stablecoin for it or cant alone. Why theres need a stablecoin for bitcoin? We could use usdt or usdc or even fiat itself to trade bitcoin and vice versa.

So many stablecoins out there and people might not adapt to each and every stables been utilizing.
