It needs to go straight to the moon...

The red devils are going to face one of the deadliest warriors of the UCL and I just hope they're ready to make a difference but my main concern about the United team is one of their reject, Harry Maguire.
A guy who hasn't played any serious game like the last one they played after coming back from the international break and they're telling us that Maguire is injured. Like how on earth are we going to believe that news when all he does is sit on the bench chewing his fingers.
To me I don't think that news is true, at least that's what they want us to believe and I know they or should I say ETH doesn't want to have anything to do with Maguire concerning the champions league, that's to move him out of the line up even the bench.
But if this encounter is suppose to be a league game I believe this news won't have come out of the surface, let's see how they'll go about business when they face Bayern Munich and hungry Harry Kane.

Soon Bitcoin would be flying to $30k
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 19, 2023, 11:39:50 PM
Of late the price of Bitcoin has been going back up with it's current price at $26k (wonder why it didn't stay at $27k till this morning 🤔) and to me I see it as a possible step for something big to come, maybe before the end of this month, who knows this month might be better than last month.
With how the price has changed its shape of letting go of $25k for almost 3 weeks now I believe it might give us that screamer of hitting $30k in the next 2 weeks, but we should just keep our fingers crossed because it can still go back to $25k which is not healthy in the market.
I'm doubtful if it can show big changes in the next 2 weeks but still hopeful that someday we will be able to see Bitcoin reaching back to $30k again. But for now, it was still on the test side to all holders where patience was needed to the extent but if we are a weak person, I could imagine that they are now thinking about selling.
In the current situation, instead of thinking negatively, we'd rather think about buying more while it was cheap as sooner or later, a bullish price will come next.

$30k has always been the target for some investors which I believe before the year runs out it will come to pass and even more than $30k in the nearest future.
To me at this point I won't advise anyone to sell, the damage has already been done, I mean the fall of Bitcoin price and if you hold forget about the bullish price and some believe it will happen come next year, I'd just say focus on what the market will bring next this year.
And with what I'm seeing I just have that feeling that investors might start smiling anytime soon.

E get any need for all these talk about this man wey die so? I no even know which one wey good pass self if nah the movie industry or nah the music industry becos as e be so them must get involved in something shitty before them blow.
Now this paddy man Mohbad don die and how justice wan take com into play? Nah to arrest this em oga nai go bring am back or kill the pain wey the family of this guy dy go through now, especially the wife?
I just tire becos as we dy find to grow and become famous make we mind the place we put hand becos no amount of story them wan tell me concerning this man death wey I go believe becos las las e get wetin them go hide for this mata. Tomorrow the Naira Marley guy them go release am carry talk full our ear, the next thing mata don die.
1346  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Lesson to Bitcoiniers on: September 19, 2023, 04:58:32 PM
My brothers I carry this tory come make all of us learn from am oo, the ability of person to buy bitcoin, no be there e end oo, na just the first phase be that and I don see professionals dey advise say make e be say trading bitcoin to fiat or any other thing no too enter our head, because if we nor fit control our self even after we don get one kind gain from the holding of bitcoin, before you go know we don go sell our coin loss very big opportunity. Make we nor forget say time lost can never be recovered, opportunity wey we miss don go(otilor).

For this bitcoin mata me I see am as something wey we suppose dey patient I mean those traders or investors. If the market no too dey favorable I believe say e dy push some people to sell and ones them sell something big go just come out and you go hear cry like oh how I wish, so these things na about decision oh, to make the right decision at the right time. So I no too blame people wey sell at the wrong time or wey hold at the wrong time, like you talk OP nobody know when the whole thing I mean the price go skyrocket.

Quote
Although I no say we nor fit predict the future 100% every time, so some kind things fit happen wey dey against our will and we fit no get any other option than to sell, but if no be so abeg those wey dey into holding no give up easily. E get one baba wey share en experience of how e take loose guard with en coin, I believe say after we read am finish e go open our eye to see how this crypto life be like.

Na the problem be that oh, if say we fit predict when the price go skyrocket you go see how people go just feel relaxed becos them know the next time the price go dy in their favor, like this now Bitcoin con be like gambling wey them no dy fit predict correct and e get one thread wey dey Should we rely on prediction?
Some people dey always follow prediction well well when e com to Bitcoin mata, for me I no think say e make sense.

Quote
NOTE: out of 32 halving we still get 29 more wey go fit skyrocket the price of Bitcoin, so e never dey late for bitcoin holding and accumulating more coins.

I get question to ask my superior dem for this forum:
Abeg apart from emergencies, when be the right time wey person fit sell en bitcoin?

Why e no be say nah all the 32 halving go come out as expected? Me I just see am as something wey una think say go happen and people too dy put hope for wetin no fit happen anytime soon bcos the way BTC price dey shake up and down I no see am to happen bcos me I believe say if something big wan come concerning Bitcoin if e no happen now ma say I no sure say I fit say e go happen.

It has come to my notice that Manchester United only have one target this season, while other teams including Newcastle and Brighton are aiming for the title, the red devils only hope is to finish top 4 of the log.
With all the issues going on in the locker room of Manchester United it is clear that the manager has lost that spark of last season and I ones said that second season syndrome will definitely affect this coach.
The expectations in Manchester United is not that much compare to Chelsea and it seems Chelsea would also try to even finish 5th or 6th this season.
Concerning Man UTD I believe that the chances of even qualifying from the group in the champions league is just slim and if ETH doesn't take full control of that United team then we would be seeing the worst of the red devils. I feel there's a lot of pressure on ETH at the moment.
#SACK ALERT

This is a false and wrong thing to say for Man United has also denied such happening inside if the dressing room. You should make sure you verify your news and information before spreading it.
Man United and Chelsea are different clubs you do not have no right to say thy have things in common. They both have just spent money rashly and have caught themselves together on the league table.
It is only a matter of time Eth and the rest of the team will be in the right path.
ETH is far from being the next manager to be sacked bothers me if you watch football.

Sorry but you're being too emotional about all these, that's what I feel so don't take it to heart brother. From the look of things it seems you're  die hard Manchester United fan. Well the way you feel about your club won't change how I feel or what I feel is wrong with a club.
Let me correct you boss, take a look at how the United team are playing this season, can't you tell if the atmosphere isn't clear in that team compare to last season? Is hard for you to admit that the team state is in chaos and no matter how hard you as a fan try to shield it, it won't change anything.
And as for Chelsea and Manchester United I have every right to say they do have at least one thing in common (forget about the spendings, Chelsea was in the market than UTD) and is to finish in the top 6. Or are you trying to say that Manchester United I mean your "Club" have eyes for the title?
Do Manchester United look like a team that wants to challenge for the title?
Common boss, these are the reality of this season so you have to accept it. If a coach isn't doing well what's next? Is to fire him of course. And for the record I never said ETH is going to be sacked, I only said sack alert, I'm expecting that... You should know with all have said, it only means one thing, that I do watch football.

It is a risky job if you treat it as your main job. There are real life traders and they know that doing this as their main source is hard.
But with experience that they've gathered all over these years, the risk seems to be cute to them anymore because of that built up that they've gone through.
I agree that for newbies, it's best for them to stay as holder first before they commit into a real life day trader. They also have an option to remain investors and holders.

Everything in life is all about risk like I always say, is best you take it or leave it. Those who take risk I see them as those who wants to make it in life so in trading if you're scared of taking risk I don't see you making any profit, instead you'd be stock at a place like a stagnant water, no progress.

Not stepping out of your comfort zone means you won't grow and achieve success in life. This is an overall view not only in trading since if you stay scared of not taking risks then you won't be achieving what you dream of but that doesn't mean that you will take risks without bases. You should have calculated riskslike if this fails there is still a backup plan to make it successful or this would be a high percentage of success.

There are still others who prefer to stay in the comfort zone and there are no problems with it but if you don't want to stay stagnant take those calculated risks and see what will happen.

No doubt about what you said but the thing is that some persons do things without thinking or calculating or even weighing if the possible outcome will yield something positive, they just do it because is good or they know how to take risk, that's foolishness.
Before taking any bold step, make sure it's well discussed with "yourself" and if you're not ok with what you think you can as well discuss it with friends, and there's no way you won't get a better advise from someone who has an experience about the issue at hand, so when you're in the risky past you won't feel left out or see it as something new.

Those who are deep into trading are never afraid of the negative aspect of trading is like they expect the bad side of it more than they expect the positive side of it, so taking risk is not new to them I mean real traders, so if you don't have the guts is best you learn from those who knows more than you in the business.

Like they always say "you don't know what you have until you lose it". This has to do with Manchester United and their ball playing goalkeeper Onana, I believe by now 99% of United fans would agree with me that they don't have what it takes to secure the goal post and that De Gea was the only one who knows how to cover both the goal post and the defense too.
Instead of getting a goalkeeper who keeps the ball from getting into the net they went to get a goalkeeper who picks the ball from the net.
Onana has 11goals conceded in the last 5 games with just 1 clean sheet and someone would wake up in the morning and say Manchester United did right by letting De Gea go? No way. I think this is just the beginning and Man UTD will regret it and it might cause some division in the locker room.
Who's better between both goalkeeper, Onana or De Gea?
I'll leave that to the United fans.

Finally, I finished the university and gained PR but the money that I have spent in all of these makes me cry every day. If it weren't my parents, I would invest in bitcoin in 2016-2017, I would be a millionaire today. I totally missed 2020's boom because of my situation but now is the time in my life where I stand on my feet, not strongly but I stand and manage to live and save some money. As I see, there are guys on this forum since 2015, they are here still today, so I want to know your opinion and want to hear your advice about Bitcoin. As we all know, halving is coming. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin? Or should I lean towards altcoins this time? Which one? I don't have health problems and don't have to worry about job security but it would make me sad to lose all the savings but life in Canada is getting expensive every fucking day.

I don't know if I should say is a shame but why cry over spilled milk? Is never your fault that you was young and couldn't make a decision that concerns your life that would stand, but that's by the way.
You can still start from scratch again and before you know it you get to where you always wanted to be (a billionaire ) because the price of Bitcoin at this point isn't too positive that it will remain at an elevative stage like going up.
So I'd advise you shouldn't feel bad for going to Canada and doing what you went to do, you're done and now that you're a grown man take advantage of the market price, let the past die off your mind and you can make it big, also expect the price to be at $30+ any time soon.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 18, 2023, 08:25:04 AM
Last night game between Madrid vs Real Sociedad was just surprising to me at halftime, thought I was going to see Madrid dominating every moment of the first half but it wasn't what I was expecting. Really love the way the visitors approach the game and if not for that offside that chopped off the second goal we would have been talking about a different ball game with the away team leading by 2 goals to nil at halftime.
But the Madrid side just waited to absolve the pressure till the end of the first half and it was a shocker for Real Sociedad, they never expected what hit them.
Well from all I saw I think the Madrid are not too strong in that game since some of the players returned from international break and it might continue, like Madrid to be weak in their next game. To me I don't see them as a threat for now.
1355  Other / Meta / Re: Without merit... on: September 18, 2023, 06:56:22 AM
What's up with all of these threads about merits?  Are people starting to become concerned with ranking up again and earning more money?  That cynical little devil that lives on my shoulder is starting to tell me something's up.

This isn't about making money or ranking up, was just curious about it and if that's how it seems to you, I never have that in mind for ones. I mean ranking up and earning, nah, that's not the idea..

Quote
And OP, this forum has existed for most of its life without the merit system or any method for members to "like" posts.  So I'd say even if the merit system wasn't created, we'd all be just fine.  On top of that, everything you wrote has been discussed to death already--across many threads and who knows how many years.  So please lock this thread, because it's going to turn into a shitposter magnet and we don't need threads like this in Meta.

Well you've said it all, and I too don't want anything that would attract any ill idea of this post or even seen as a shitpost...

I really appreciate you all for your contribution, comments and all that... Let's say have gotten the info needed. Was just being curious per say.
1356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 18, 2023, 06:40:33 AM

This predictions I am seeing in the above screenshot which I took from the website op shared in his post; I would say is the author of that article trying as much as he can to be very conservative, that is; he tried as much as possible not to exaggerate which I think is a good thing, since he doesn't want to take the hope of his readers too high like several other authors I read and watch on YouTube do.

From what I saw on that image above is just too messy for me and I can't imagine the price of Bitcoin getting to that amount I mean $21k this year, it should be higher like $28k.
The author really did his best not to make it look too hopeful unlike some who say something more positive like "price of Bitcoin will rise to $40k before the end of this month of September" and it will trigger the hope of some members of this Forum to start jumping for glory, but is not suppose to be so. Those dropping these predictions should always use "it may" or "I wish" whenever they're dropping an article or a quote concerning BTC price, that would help a little.

Anyways, predictions just as it's called, will ever remain prediction, who ever will believe completely what is predicted then does not know what the word "prediction" means or stands for , I will advice such person to find out what prediction mean in the dictionary.

Come on, if you have a way of breaking it down for us why not tell us what "prediction" means in a low man knowledge, and don't keep some of us in the dark. I don't have a dictionary so tell us so that some of us who doesn't know would learn and stop depending on predictions when it has to do with Bitcoin trading, you know.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 18, 2023, 06:26:53 AM
When Tottenham lost their most valuable player Harry Kane to Bayern Munich without getting any proper replacement for his position i felt it was going to be a tough season for them and i even concluded then that they'll be very poor this season depending on Richarlison as their main striker, but they've cleared my doubt this season and have been so impressive this season even suprisenly won Manchester United very comfortably.

Seriously I never saw Tottenham getting this far as in terms of playing without Kane, that's the thing with depending on one player all through your stay as a manager and I believe the current Spurs manager didn't put Harry Kane first just as other coaches did in their time with Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur are still getting it together and those previous wins isn't what we should use to rate how good they are this season but let's see in the next 3 games if they can keep up that habit of winning.

There's nothing impressive in Tottenham, they beat Manchester United which currently a weak club, they were struggling to beat Sheffield United, their past winning against Bournemouth and Burnley were nothing since all of them are weak clubs.

I'm not a UTD fan but you see Manchester United as a weak club? I don't think so, Man UTD are struggling to get their feet back on track and they shouldn't be labelled as a week club.
Every team have to take advantage of the condition their opponent are at the moment and that's what Tottenham did to those clubs you call "weak clubs" and let's leave sentiment out of this, Spurs was impressive in those games, because if they weren't they would have lost against UTD or even that Sheffield UTD game, that game was too hot for them to handle compare to that one against Man UTD.
With how we all know Tottenham to be, as terrible and annoying in games we should be disgusted with their style of play but this season it was massively impressive.

Quote
The interesting thing will happen in the next 2 matches where he need to face Arsenal and Liverpool, I bet Tottenham will lose in the next 2 matches.

It seems you're waiting for Spurs to fail with this high momentum they are now? Well that's your say but give them those two games and I bet you, they might turn things around.
Arsenal on the other hand are still trying to avoid mistakes as of last season so I believe the pressure would be on the Gunners if they face Tottenham.
And Liverpool haven't settled after losing much players especially from their midfield, look at how they manage to play as a unit and sometimes they play like they've lost control, forget the fact that they win they games coming from behind, and all that, I'll tell you for free that Liverpool are still struggling and they're still trying to adapt, so if all these continue I see Tottenham beating any of those two clubs (Arsenal and Liverpool).
1358  Other / Meta / Re: Without merit... on: September 18, 2023, 05:53:16 AM
The way you guys respond to this post is really helpful but we all know that Bitcointalk doesn't have fixtures to react to post  just as @SmartGold1 said and I still say it that I see merit as something to tell that a post is informative, constructive and of quality as the case maybe. Now let's remove merit out from the equation and I know some of you may say the post is of good quality by the comments quote and all that just as @BitcoinGirl.Club rightly said, how can you appreciate a good post?
Ok let's say we now use merit to indicate or should I say rate a post as informative and educative, are you telling that we just use quote and maybe replies to rate a post, without merit?
1359  Other / Meta / Re: Without merit... on: September 17, 2023, 08:20:27 PM
Someone posts are directly proportional to merit received by the person, although there can be some partial reasons that can make some people with low effort to have more merits, but merit is the reflection of quality posts as long as this forum is.

That's when we have to make use of merit to rate a post.
But see it this way, without merit how can you rate a post?
because with merit distribution in this Forum that's how we rate quality post...
Without merit is there any other way of rating a post?
1360  Other / Meta / Without merit... on: September 17, 2023, 08:09:09 PM
Have been thinking about this Merit and quality post, like how it works, if the both of them work hand in hand or something.
Because to me, merit speaks more about someone's post to be a quality post and you guys would agree with me.
No need to say much but I'd like to know, without merit how can YOU rate a post as a quality post or how can you appreciate a quality post?
