381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: February 06, 2024, 07:31:17 PM
Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. Start buying 🦾

So happy for you on your Bitcoin journey, the approval has come to play but why haven't we seen any sign of it like we should be seeing a drastic move of Bitcoin price starting from when it was approved, but we're still having same amount up till this moment. To me I'd love to see BTC at $50k and above, is like nothing of surch I'd going to happen till the halving period, I hope to see a positive change in the transfer fee too because that alone is killing business.

Tomorrow the Super Eagles will clash horns with the Bafana Bafana side which I some how think will be a very difficult game for the Eagles because the Bafana Bafana side have about 9 players in their starting eleven (11) who are playing in one club all home base players.
This is something Nigeria is suppose to be worried about because these guys really know how each and every one of them move on the field of play and for our Eagles is something different all together, is this something we have to worry about?
To me we have been doing perfectly fine with these players we have but this only have to prove that our league is not up to standard so NPFL or whosoever is in charge should try and build the league to be like the S/A league or even better.

I don't think that there is cause to worry about the Nigerian team playing against the bafana bafana despite that most of their players are used to each other plying their football in their home league.

My worry however is the health scare of Victor Osimhen who didn't join the team to missed the team to Bouake on yesterday because of abdominal pain and discomfort. Osimhen is a very utility player for the Nigerian team but if he doesn't recover for the match then Paul Onuachu would start the game. For me I prefer osimhen to start the game because of his speed, strength and confidence on the ball. Bafana playing at home is not a criteria to be scared of afterall they are not playing at home soil so it won't matter.

Well it shouldn't be a big problem but the Eagles still need to be careful, those guys are deadly and won't want a situation where we're going to decide the winner in a penalty shootouts, that I won't want to see.
V. Osimhen's case to me is something we shouldn't be too worried about, fine he might be down but I see it as a strategy to give the opponent that 100% confident in coming out in this encounter. The South Africa players are going to be happy that their threat (V. Osimhen) is not going to play and I believe that when they get the news (which they have already) that he's fine their morela will drop immediately, so I'd say it again that is just a mind game.
And again, our wingers even the midfielders need to help V. Osimhen a lot so that he won't over work himself, not in a situation where he needs to score like a one on one situation he'll miss it because of tiredness.
In the last game you can see him running back to win the ball and still running back to receive the ball in the 18 yard box and it won't still get to him which is a bit frustrating, that's not how they play in their individual club side and they should apply it in the national team side, if that happens we can get more than a goal in that game.

City really dominated the first half and that's what we're expecting because they're good at that. The home team Brentford tried to challenge the Citizens in the first to even get the opener, I hope they continue that way in this second half which I know is never going to be easy because Manchester City need a win to keep pressuring Arsenal and Liverpool for the title race. I think the only thing Brentford are going to get in this game is a draw, which is not too healthy for City so they (Manchester City) need to put more pressure to get a win.
Their dominance has started paying them as Fill Foden has scored the second goal scored another goal to make it 2-1 for Manchester City. Foden is doing a great job this days, he is a very good player that is now very important to the team because he is helping the team in different ways.

Manchester Cit will be happy to win this match because if they drop points, Arsenal will have less pressure and Manchester City is also willing to top the league; now if they win todays match, Manchester City will have the same points with Arsenal and just two points behind Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola knows how important this guy Foden is to the club and to me I see Foden as a very important player than Grealish, because he contribute more to the team than Grealish. Even in the absence of KDB Foden still try to makes things easy for the team just as KDB would have done.
This win is very important for the Citizens like you said if they lose Arsenal would have less pressure. This win has only add more pressure on both Arsenal and Liverpool with an outstanding game at hand, I see City topping the league only if they get to win their games, but an upset can still happen if they lose their outstanding.
Well, tonight is a night for Pep and his boys to celebrate because they had it in mind that they're going out there to secure all 3pts but Brentford almost gave them a scare, kudos to the Citizens.

The scoreline between Brentford and Manchester City at halftime is 1-1, thanks to Foden for equalizing for Manchester City against Brentford. With the way Manchester City has dominated Brentford in the first half, it will be difficult for Brentford to stop Manchester City from scoring another goal in the second half.

386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Did you like this forum on: February 05, 2024, 06:42:57 AM
How much do I like this Forum? OP I don't really like this Forum to be honest with you, I LOVE the Forum, it gave me things I never had. This community have everything you're looking for, the good the bad and the ugly, it all depends on where you want to be.
If not for the Forum I won't have had the knowledge about Bitcoin, that it's real and not or never a scam, is just the bad ones who paint it that way. Reading and making reseach on things to enlighten myself is all because of this Forum.
I know nobody will talk about this particular one and I hate it when people pretend, is better to be plain than hiding the truth, the sig campaign is another thing while I love this Forum, without it (Sig Campaign) the traffic the Forum is having now won't have been possible.

On o_e_l_e_o's farewell thread, I only saw sadness, tears, lost hope written all over it and coming here to see such is like there's no hope any more, I think words of encouragement, words of hope should be sent to him that's if anyone can contact him.
Who knows things can turn around for good for him, it is not over until it is so let's try to give him strength too in this hard time. I know is never easy with him and for Bitcointalk community but we have to do what we have to do which is to stay positive and reach out to him via prayers.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your feelings if Bitcoin price takes your expectations unaware on: February 05, 2024, 05:38:40 AM
Whether we are aware or not, we still keep in mind that the movement of the market was impossible to predict, so instead of being unaware, why not assume that dumps will happen anytime?

Whether to blame ourselves or not, it is done already. We can't bring it back anymore, we'd rather accept the fact that mistakes are made in order for us to learn and take action for not happening again. We can't just simply forget how volatile is the market and every minute changes come that may surprise us. So, we must be ready anytime and learn to adapt to the situation and sell our Bitcoin without regrets when there is a chance of earning.

True, the market price the movement and all that are hard to predict even up till now nobody believe that BTC price will be the way it is and with how things are going, I don't think it can happen as you said, for you to say let's assume that the dump will happen which means you have it in mind that it will happen, from how I see it I'm not sure.
The price movement has a poor start this year and I feel it would be very hard to sell and if you look at it nobody is ready to regret after taking a forceful decision, many are panicking at this point and the price isn't helping at all.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 04, 2024, 06:45:24 PM
If you are an Arsenal fan, try to stay calm. Arsenal's game today looks more convincing than Liverpool's, so I don't think they will drop points in this match. Arsenal just need to be patient and improve their ability in finishing, I mean they missed too many chances even though they were big chances.

There was still plenty of time to expect changes in the second half, but Liverpool could also have scored their second goal if Arsenal had not been alert in defence. Errors in defense must be minimized, while attackers must be able to maximize their opportunities to double goals. It won't be easy, of course, but Arsenal looks like they have a better chance of winning based on the team's performance so far.

Being a fan is not it but the thing is if you're a journalist you have to say what's happening.
The errors on the Gunners side is just crazy when you see a team that's dominating the game and you get to see them messing up is just annoying if you'd agree with me.
This game has always been in favor of the Gunners and I see them as the favorite even in the bookies they're the favorite. Arsenal has gotten the win they have been looking for to reduce the point and now is Manchester City who have a game tomorrow and a game at hand which means they're at advantage in this title race.
If you ask me I'd say this title race is a 4 horse race, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Aston Villa but I tip the Gunners to win because they were almost there last season and this is their time.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 04, 2024, 05:39:54 PM
Arsenal have been very impressive with their attacking force,  Liverpool are not giving arsenal space is arsenal that are creating space for themselves, from Ben white, Declan rice, Martin odegaard and Gabriel have shown that arsenal are incharge of the midfield and they are here for serious business.
however Liverpool defence formation is not really doing a enough, they are the weaker link arsenal are using, but the frontliners for Liverpool have been putting some good effort, Gakpo, Diogo jota and Diaz are putting some pressure on the arsenal defence but it's not a enough, is maybe games like this that they need the experience of M.salah.

Arsenal actually played well in this first half, but some little errors caused them to concede a last first half minute goal as Liverpool leveled the score just before halftime.

There is enough to tell about the match for both teams, they are all been playing well in the first half and they are all very cautious of not to lose, nevertheless, the second half have enough to show us because the match will definitely not end in a draw.

Sometimes is not good for Arsenal to play good football, just go out there and win the game.
What's stopping Raya from coming out to get the ball that Saliba has already shield from Diaz? Sometimes I get pissed when I see Raya on the goalpost of Arsenal, I prefer Ramsdale who doesn't like conceding a goal, he's sharp but Raya is just trying to be something else.
The first half has been all about Arsenal if you ask me and we have been seeing some errors from the defense line of Liverpool and the goalkeeper but not adding much pressure to get the ball like Diaz did is the problem for Arsenal.
I hope to see a better and well organized play from the Gunners  in the second half because a win would reduce the point gap between them and the visitors (Liverpool), so is best to win than a draw. Let's not forget that City are behind waiting for the right moment to strike and if they have the chance to top the table, is just all over for Arsenal and Liverpool.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 04, 2024, 04:15:12 PM
Is Chelsea really playing to offend the fans or to make the coach Pochettino lose his job? Nothing impressive have been done in this Chelsea side, they always lose every game, anytime you see the Blues get a win in any game just know that they're going to lose their next game in a shameless way.
Attack zero, marking zero, nothing to write home about. At first the fans were saying Nkunku is the hope of Chelsea and now we have him but still nothing positive, even the substitute is still the same, you remove someone who's not doing well and introduce someone who's also not going to do well, how disappointing.
For now it is official that Chelsea are only here (in the EPL) to share points, for the Blues you can't say they're playing a smaller team, they do struggle with both big and small clubs in the EPL. The solution of Chelsea is just to play and wait for next season, maybe they can rebuild the team to something better in the pre-season who knows. Today's game is a very disappointing display from the Blues losing both home and away and they're going to lose against Liverpool in the final on the 25th of this month.

394  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: February 04, 2024, 09:59:07 AM
Bitcoin Halving in 2024 It is normal for Bitcoin price to remain under control this year. Bitcoin price will not increase much in the halving year as we have learned from past halvings, the highest increase in the year after the halving. That's why this year 2024 is the year of investment, the more you invest, the more benefits you will get.

I don't think we have a specific year of investing and come to think of it, do you think with the dullness of Bitcoin price since the end part of last year till this very moment that there would be benefits and much investment?
I feel investment are going to be put on hold if not slow because is like the more you invest you lose more than what you're expecting. This year's halving might be the major cause of all these, I don't see much people investing, until this problem (high fee especially) is fixed that's when we'd see much investment and profit, this year might have a poor BTC amount.
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: February 04, 2024, 09:25:57 AM
Bitcoin is sure to see a huge pump, as you can certainly guess the schedule if you look at past Bitcoin halvings. The last bitcoin halving was in 2020, the price of bitcoin fell in 2020 creating opportunities for investors, and in 2021 bitcoin rose to a peak of 69k. And we can follow the same principle in 2024, 2025 Bitcoin price will increase at the highest speed. But here we can predict Bitcoin Price 2024 Bitcoin price can definitely go upto 50k.
Talking about the past halving how the price of Bitcoin dropped in 2020 and got up in 2021, what if we have something different where the price goes higher than we expected in this 2024 and start dropping by next year 2025? To me I feel we might be having a reverse in the movement of Bitcoin price because the price started dropping since last year (December) and is still not stable at the moment.
Today you'd see it at $43k in less than 30mins it goes up or down and it got me thinking, why is that happening? And I feel this is just the perfect movement it needs to start going up and with time it would go beyond $50k.
I think it didn't really drop in 2020, it had a dropped period, but it wasn't all down. Sure it had a small drop period, but the year started with 8 thousand, and went over the previous ATH (of 2017) and went to as high as 24k during that year, so that's when we broke the ATH price. By logic, if that still happens this year, we may see a little drop, but also we could see above 68k by the end of the year, maybe even more.

This is why it is quite important to know what you are doing and how you could profit from it. I get that it feels like sometimes it is not really all that easy to handle, but it is quite important to realize that you could make some money from it, there is really nothing that would stop it from going higher and higher this year.

So if we're to expect the amount to be above $68k then why is it difficult for it to go past $40-45k? I don't even think it can make it past $68k only if we get a positive start. Honestly the price movement is not convincing at all and if I'm to bring this up, whenever the price is high we see the fee as high as it can get, isn't that going to be a problem for both investors and traders? Is like we shouldn't hope to see the price of Bitcoin get to that $68k or the suppose $100k because is causing business to be unhealthy.

Everton's first round match against Tottenham has just ended and Tottenham are leading 2-1
In my opinion, Everton appeared surprising because previously they were not favored to be able to match the game of the Tottenham team, but unexpectedly Everton were able to put up resistance even though in the first half they were 1 goal behind.

In the last few matches, Everton was not able to perform well, but this did not happen in this match, so I think if Everton is able to continue to perform like in the first half, which was able to match the performance of the Tottenham team, then it is not impossible that they can get points in this match.

This Everton side are playing like a wounded lion so anything they have to do to survive the relegation zone they're going to do it and we shouldn't be surprised when we see a turn around in this game because I don't really have much hope in this Tottenham Hotspur team to hold on to this 1-2 lead.
In this second half I believe the home team would continue playing the way they did before the end of the first half and we could see an equalizer because I don't see much from the visitors and it could end in a draw.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 02, 2024, 10:35:08 AM
Joselu is trying his best despite not playing near full time in most games. Considering the time he played for and his skillset his current statistics aren't too bad. He has similar statistics with Rodrygo despite playing for much less amount of minutes than him.  Smiley  This what Joselu can do the best I assume.

I think Ancelotti didn't think of making him one of main choices for the forward position. But after seeing his performance things must have changed. It is important for Real Madrid to get the maximum contribution from the players for the league title.

To me is best for him not to play much because some if these players when given the time to play for a longer period they start losing that touch of brilliance, that's the same thing that's happening to Garnacho who always starts from the bench and get goals or assist (even save the team from losing) but since the coach starts giving him a longer time to play, he has never been himself, so I think Ancelotti should build this guy Joselu little by little and with time he'd feel the game whenever he gets to be on the pitch.
Bellingham should also be given a rest and without that rest I think he might lose his form, goals will hardly come, the coach shouldn't rush these young players no matter how good they're doing they need some time out.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 02, 2024, 10:20:24 AM
Today's the beginning of a rough trip to the finals and I believe the Super Eagles are going to show a positive side that we haven't seen in this competition, they're going to play a better football that we're going to applaud them.
The last game the Eagles played we all saw how badly they went about business but this game against Angola would be a correction for the last game they played out 2-0, we all know that the Eagles would have scored more than those 2 goals, it was disappointing to me.
I just hope those officiating today's game won't be that biased, the officiating should be transparent. I believe that if the Eagles get past Angola today nothing is stopping us from getting to the finals (it should be against Ivory Coast) and winning it, this is our time.
