Even after today's big correction we should still be in the top 3.

Bitcoin falls over 10% as record-breaking rally loses steam
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/04/bitcoin-price-falls-as-record-breaking-rally-loses-steam.html

You hear that Average Joe retail losers? According to the MSM, the rally has 'lost steam'. It's over. Sell everything now.  Roll Eyes

I love how it takes days to report an ATH but a dip takes minutes.
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2021, 02:15:11 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a nice little correction/dip all the way down to where we were the day before yesterday... currently $31711USD/40266CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It's refreshing how quickly we recovered from a 20% dip.

As bad as it seemed at $28k, we still have a realistic chance at an ATH later today. Later this week is likely.

Bear fail. Go Bitcoin go

MANY shitcoins in the top 50-100 are showing 30-90% daily gains.
I have no idea why.

Retail noobs.

Institutional buying drives up Bitcoin price... media reports Bitcoin price increase and use word "crypto"... noobs react to media with FOMO... noobs think, "it's too late for Bitcoin, I'll buy cheaper crypto"... noobs buy shitcoins.

It's that simple.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is at $33,000.

This is killing my motivation to like... work and shit.

Then u'r doing the wrong kind of work! Smiley

Do something that only feeds your soul!  Cheesy

Buying some fiat every month with a tiny portion of my Bitcoin wealth is very satisfying work.

my grandma is 93. she has been a tarot fortuneteller for more than 50 years. this morning she called me and told me bitcoin was at $34k and that it will hit 80k before a significant pull back. this is unprecedented. in all those years that i am involved in bitcoin, she never made a price prediction. and she rarely ever calls me. (by the way: she will get her covid vaccine tomorrow)

caution! i dont know if she was referring to $ or € when she talked about 80k  Cheesy

So, your grandmother is into TA.

Tone Vays is having a 12th birthday forBTC Wink

Looks like even Tone Vays does not know whose fucking birthday it is today.. or doesn't know how to make a cake or a hat  (whatever that thingie might be) with the correct verbiage for that matter.

When I went looking for a birthday cake for my morning greeting that was the first that caught my eye but as soon as I saw the "C" word I took a pass and looked for another.

If btc is 1mil, 33k would look like a pimple on the chart.

Just like 2013's ATH does now or 2011's ATH did before that.

Let's hope that some day $1M looks like a pimple on the chart.

Wow. Someone's frantically trying to drive the price down but walls are being eaten (Watching Bitstamp).

Many coins changing hands. These are exciting times.

1372  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 1$ on: January 03, 2021, 04:34:49 PM
LOL

You drag up an old thread started by an obvious troll. $1? LOL. This idiot even outdid Professor Bitcorn Mark T. Williams who said it would only go down to $10 per "share".

At least we can fill in the blanks in the chart. It took less than 36 months to reach another ATH.

And on and on it goes...
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: January 03, 2021, 04:16:07 PM
best part is when seeing the new entry making a new top on yefis list (USD 31,348) and then checking the current price (USD 34000). very nice indeed!  Grin

Maybe just maybe we do it again.

We're well on the way. (Hopefully!)

Good morning Bitcoinland and Happy Birthday.

12 years old and like any adolescent, starting to show signs of growing up.

The daily ATHs keep coming ($34800 Stamp) with only minimal corrections to keep it honest... currently $33427USD/$42552CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

We all knew 2021 was going to be a big year for Bitcoin's price but this is almost getting ridiculous. Yesterday was one for the ages.

Go Bitcoin go.

Just checked in before bed to see another ATH... $34053 (Stamp of course)

$43138CAD (Bircoinaverage)

Go Bitcoin go.

Wow Leaps and bounds ahead of yesterday.

Only JPY is even close.
1377  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: January 03, 2021, 02:17:40 AM
First of all watching someone over youtube and believing them on financial stuff is bad idea. Market research is always indeed needed.

Amen.

Youtube is for morons, by morons. Its only value is comedy.

Ignore anything you see on Youtube. It's almost as bad as TV.
_____

As we saw today there was lots of resistance between $30k and $40k, enough to drop the price by $3k at one point.
1378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Maximalism Has Won on: January 03, 2021, 02:00:54 AM
... this thread should be in the Altcoin section ...

why we allow shitcoin threads on Bitcoin Forum is totally beyond me, make your own forum!

Did you even read the OP?

It's not about altcoins. It's about the superiority of Bitcoin.

It only mentions shitcoins to point out their failures.
1379  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back to $20000 possible in 2021? on: January 02, 2021, 10:33:26 PM
I see $20k as being the same as what $800 was in late winter and spring of 2017, or what $40 was in the summer of 2013, a mythical buy-back point for bears who sold too low.

All the wishful thinking in the world is unlikely to make it come true.

Dips of that magnitude happen after bubbles break, not when they're just starting to really take off. Once we got a third of the way to the first $100k of this rally, I think we passed the point of no return.
1380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2021, 09:25:49 PM
Well well well. Go out shopping and come back to see we had the big correction we were all waiting for... 3 grand.

More than halfway back up already. Let the rally continue. What's a half a mil here, quarter mil there? No big deal.
