Today's game was really tough for Manchester United and is like the international break shouldn't have come to an end for some of the fans. Being a United fan is really worrisome but the fans won't admit it that they have a problem and it has been spotted in today's game.
Ten Hag was just having a bad day with the way Brighton players was running round the pitch, taking care of business and at some point I was thinking that it was Brighton who was Manchester United because they played very well and I could see the midfield of Man UTD being taken from the home team.
In that encounter I believe that a true UTD fan would tell that their problem is the midfield. Is not about signing players from different league is about making use of them getting that unity between the players in the locker room.
Disappointing results from Manchester United, after dominating the game in the first 7 to 10 minutes I expected United will record a goal within this period but they failed to put their advantage to good use. And Brighton who were the visitors converted one to finish the first half and later concluded the game in a 3-1 victory. Certainly this wasn’t the kind of results the club would want at the beginning of the league but there is still time for improvement.

Yes indeed it was a very poor performance coming from a club that we all expected more, something big to happen in their favor (but not me though). United has never had it that they can beat Brighton that has shown the football world that they have what it takes to be at the top level.
Imagine a team like Brighton playing a more entertaining football more than Manchester United, and I ask, why did Manchester United qualify for the UCL in the first place?
With their performance against Brighton you'd agree with me that they're not ready and they're going to find it hard to survive that group.
UTD have no force and they lack so much composure in that game, the coach was just standing there watching his team being brutalized by a club that never had that coordination of controlling the ball for 30mins last 3 seasons ago and now they are better than UTD, football has changed hands for sure.

I had hoped to see Amrabat today, is he also injured or still not fit enough?

I think he had an injury when they signed him from the Italian club Florentine, and what difference will his presence make?
He can't change a thing because if that team I mean Man UTD, if they don't take care of those affected positions and get things together they won't go far this season.
Just had to say it, Manchester United don't have a team and I don't know if is pride that's causing much issues at the club but I know for sure that the coach is to blame for some part of the failures or poor performance of this season.

@Sexylizzy2813 as a Manchester United fan I’m sympathetic towards Ten Hag as too many first team player’s are out due to injury but what I didn’t understand was why in the world didn’t he start any wingers. Furthermore if that decision wasn’t crazy then playing Fernandes out of place as a CB was and secondly allowing Rashford to be so selfish is also effecting team and thus I feel that he needs stop over analysing and stick to the basics.

First and foremost this is the English Premier League and not the Eredivisie where he just play how many matches and win the trophy back to back to back, ETH is finding it hard to get the players together and they're not making any effort to upgrade their style of play.
Manchester United don't have time to say they're rebuilding the team, is not United and ETH should stop that crazy experiment of playing players off positionq, is not going to work.
As for the big man Rashford, what's happening to him is expected, being selfish is something he has been trying not to display for long but when the results ain't coming what do you expect him to do? So to me I won't blame Rashford.

Napoli played out a 2-2 draw and is never a surprise to me and this has to do with what exactly? Fatigue or because they have the champions league at hand?
In football there's no excuse for failure and they were lucky to get that last goal to level the game up. I don't think I'd see the champions to be in this state of getting a draw at this early stage of the season, that's if they get to play against Inter Milan that's not taking it easy with any opponent at the moment is this kind of play we're going to expect?
I expected the Napoli side to never drop point or get to share point against smaller teams because at this point the competition is getting hotter and if they can't keep up then I don't see them defending the title.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 17, 2023, 03:41:34 AM
Bournemouth vs Chelsea

Actually Chelsea want to bounce back through an this match but apparently it will hard to be realized and after international break confirmed 2 more players who got injured and they are Moises Caicedo and Malo Gusto but still no certain news regarding their conditions whether they will absense or not and if Malo Gusto will not be available to today then Chelsea have no real players on right back position because previously Reece James already got injured

Hold on, what's the new excuse again with the Chelsea squad? Injury problem again?
Chelsea are going to be at their best in today's encounter no matter what it takes because I don't see Pochettino coming to Chelsea to start thinking on how to survive with players who are prone to injury, is never going to help the team and the manager.
That's the problem of rushing into the market and getting players who easily visit the hospital bed due to injury, I just feel for the Blues because they're only going to play less this season that's to say no Europe games which they're suppose to enjoy till next season that they might go for either champions league or UEL but they have to suffer with injury issues, is not just healthy for the new manager.

Quote
Pochettino have to thinking hard because he have not much options for his strategy today but the duet between Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson seems will be available to played today and actually Bournemouth conditions is more worst that Chelsea that this team so far only able to gets 2 draw from 4 matches and if Chelsea can performing well just like they beat Luton few weeks ago i think 3 points will belong to them

Pochettino have to come out with his A game if he wants to beat this struggling Bournemouth team and I don't know how he wants to do it but all I want is that massive 3pt, Chelsea needs that point no matter what and is never going to be that easy from how I'm picturing the whole situation.
Bournemouth is a team that loves to have as many players on the midfield than the attack and it will be Chelsea's number 1 problem in this encounter.
The only way Chelsea are going to surpass this defensive Bournemouth side is by getting in players that will do more of the running like Sterling if not I think it will end in a draw.
1364  Other / Meta / Re: Use less (No subject) in MP, please on: September 17, 2023, 03:13:56 AM
OP that's true but at the same time, not everybody cares if the message comes with a title or not, they just open and glance through.
I agree with OP here. I would like to see a subject in all my PMs as well. It literally takes a few seconds to write one. It can get especially frustrating if you are talking to the same person on different subjects, and at one point in the future you have to go back to check something. Imagine dozens of PMs without a title where you have to search for that exact message that contains the information you need. I would rather that I can figure out what we talked about based on the title of the PMs. But that also means that the original PM sender has to be professional enough to write a correct subject and not something like 'Hi' or 'Yo'. That doesn't help anyone.

I sometimes do delete some crazy PMs (like who have the time to PM me anyway) that I find to be uninteresting, I only do that when I'm bored.
Some people sees it to a lot of stress to even indicate why they're sending a PMs and from all being said I think the only way to make it come to stay is for every message been sent must have a title, like without you the sender not placing the title of the message it won't go through, unless you state your reason (like the title) that message won't be delivered. Let there be something like "message not delivered, title must be stated" . It has to be compulsory that you fill in that "no subject" space.
1365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What could be the problem here? on: September 17, 2023, 02:52:40 AM
What do we think could be the cause for a trader that has been experiencing a win and lose repetitive occurrences in his trades.

Like he places a trade today he makes profit and the next day when he places another trade he would lose it, whereas the next day he then makes another profit and lose it the next. And this happen been repeating for more than a month.

Has anyone had such experience? If yes! Then how was or could it be solved or stopped?
The situation is getting psychological.

It all boils down to the trader and his strategy, as a trade I don't think you have to always be on the same path of trading or using same style. Like you having a plan, different method of carrying out your day to day trading activities, if you find out that the loss and profit has a reoccurrence (in a way that's not favourable) then give it a pause and ask yourself what are you not doing well, if possible give it a break but not for too long just to figure out the problem.
I believe there's no trader that's going up and down in every trading he makes, there must be a change so if that happens is left for the trader to make amends and the problem might good away if it's handled properly.

Mostly newbies who join the forum are here for bounties. After a couple of month as newbies they realize that they need to rank up in order to increase their earnings. This is the time when they become frustrated as it is not so easy to rank up here when compared to other forums. Those who are not here for bounties do know that with time and knowledge they will easily rank up and use the earning opportunity here to accumulate Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.
When I was reading some content I understand that sometimes ago people doesn't know what is signature campaign and rendering service on their own and earn, they only focused on bounties because of bounties pays and that demoralized some people not to make a contribution that will favour the community, so they focused on bounties

The same people who go about getting themselves on bounties are the same people who come out feeling depressed as if they were forced to out of their own will to join bounty campaign or whatever is called and at some point they start asking questions like is sig campaign paying or how can they join a SIG campaign, sometimes things doesn't seem to work out the way they planned it.
When some of them have it in mind that they have to be paid I don't think they'll have their community in mind (desperation is the major cause of these things) like some don't even know what goes on in their community but mention anything bounty they're up for it.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 17, 2023, 02:22:43 AM
One major way i cut down my expenses as a single person staying alone is by purchasing enough foodstuffs and provisions at home, that way i always have food to cook and it saves me the stress of buying already made food from outside which is obviously more expensive than cooking at home.

Is that really going to help you reduce how you spend?
Are you trying to tell me that you only eat and eat with out paying bills, changing your clothes or even going out with friends?
That alone has made you to spend more.
If you're reducing how you spend as a single guy as you say, why not check how much you spend in a month and you slash it into two, save the other half and make use of the other half.
Because from all you said is like you eat a lot and that alone would make you think of your stomach more than things around you. Single guys do think of spending much on themselves just to look more attractive, so your plan isn't going to help you out.

That is why I don't believe someone who says that his/her prediction is working because the truth is that - is NEVER.
We can continue doing it (predictions) but not to the extent that we have to rely on it, we'd rather rely on what it should be on the market chart and make an analysis from that. The volatility of the market makes things hard for us to say what will happen next but guess what, We are still happy making predictions despite the fact that at the end of the day, we are all wrong. Indeed, the market these days seems not favorable to us.

You think people don't still see it as a means to get something positive at this point in time?
Is best to let the market behavior lead because as an investor and you think that prediction has a way of turning things around now that the price is not even favorable then you're in for doom, let the market price decide for us and is left for us to either hold or sell, that's where I believe investors have a choice.

many times i seen users telling "this campaign will end on this date and time on forum time" but where i can see the forum time?
when seeing in my profile it written local time, and seeing other user's profile it shows another local time. but the local time do not match with my country time.

OP seriously where are you rushing to that you're so concern about the time?😅

The time you see from the provided image is the main time, like they call it FORUM TIME and I believe it can never be the same as that of the time you have at home so it can be a minute late or an hour ahead or late.
Like mine is 1 hour ahead of the FORUM TIME
When it's 1am in my country time it will be 12am on the FORUM TIME so mine is ahead of the FORUM TIME

So that's how it works and I hope you've gotten where it is and how it works so that you won't get confused, happened to me though.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 16, 2023, 01:08:24 AM

That's another issue at hand, Chilwell lacks that finishing touch, so why push him forward? And having such a wonderful player (Mudrky) and keeping him on the bench and later introducing him on the 80-88mins is something I still ask myself why?
Ones he starts making these players to know where they belong I believe Chelsea would be unstoppable force in the EPL.
Jackson is like a one man squad and he's trying his best not to make the team regret ever getting him, but they need something more than what they're offering to the fans and Pochettino knows what to do just to make things right.
I understand your point about Chilwell because Pouchettino is trying out new strategies by making him play in a wrong position that doesn't suit him, when there are other options on the bench, and it could cost him so many game if he continues with this test but talking about Mudryk, he's been given a lot of playing time but has failed to improve he keeps making error and could impress the coach i believe that's Pouchettino decided to try Chilwell at the LW position which I feel is wrong.

That's the point, getting a player who has lost that quality of scoring goals (at least he was scoring before he went out due to injury) to always face the goal post is not too good from my own point of view, if that continues he'll drop point and by December he'll be struggling with relegation.
And you think Mudryk has been given time to prove him self? I disagree with you on that, let Pochettino play him full time for like 3 games and this shouldn't be a trial like the type he does with Chilwell, let this guy play, let him start, I believe he can turn the game of Chelsea around until Nkunku returns.

Quote
Also i don't think Jackson is a suitable candidate for  the position he's starting and i don't even know why they got him because he lack the quality and experience as well to be the front man for chelsea, chelsea has spent a lot on the wrong signings this season,  and I believe that's why they're not performing as expected, Pouchettino should try as much as possible to get a reliable striker during the winter windows.

You can say that again but never forget that Jackson is not a proper number 9, he's just there to fill in the gap. If you check all the games he has played you can agree with me that he's putting enough effort just to carry the whole team along, dragging them in front of goal.
With time he can become better when he starts playing from his right position. At least for now he's the only option Chelsea have since Lukaku left on loan to Roma.

Jackson is a young guy that needs time to improve,it seems he is under performing because Nkunku is not on the pitch playing due to injury,When they both played during preseason, they played so better together,so we can't just conclude he isn't good enough,I think the whole team lacks that experience because most of the players that are in the team now are coming from other league, and don't really know how playing in the English premier league looks like. Therefore, giving Chelsea time  is the best thing to do because if you judge them from now,you might get it wrong as most of the players bought are quality signings but they just lack that premier league experience.

To me I don't see it as Nkunku is just the only player Jackson can blend with, Pochettino have a lot of players to get in the mix just to fill in for Nkunku but this man has so much in his head and I don't blame him.
Chelsea are lacking so many things, those ex players and workers who was in charge of so many things before they got sacked are the ones who are to advise Pochettino on how to go about business with these guys.
So the current owner has some part to be blamed for and is showing, now is left for the coach which he on the other is not seeing the good players he's having on the bench.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 16, 2023, 12:40:01 AM
This is really catchy I must say, having something like 0.031btc and you say I should use it to get an iphone 15? Like why the hell am I going to use such huge amount (I know to some it ain't that huge) to get a device?
Well I think is for those who have enough to spare because I don't think someone who's struggling would think of getting an Iphone 15 for 0.031.
I can only think of that if the iphone can get my BTC wallet to at least 2BTC, that alone would but a smile on my face.
With the market not in the favor or any investors I don't think anyone would consider getting such a device with that amount.
Lol, I know exactly the feeling, I mean who wouldn't smile if they know their portfolio is showing 2BTC I mean if it's me I would definitely smile and for getting iPhone 15 people over here in my country crave for these apple products as of its some kind of supernova phone that can actually make you feel like superman. Lol

And you say I shouldn't get worked up over this same headache? People over here (my country) thinks if they have it they're on top of the world and is like a bragging right or a competition to have it, bro... If I have such amount in my wallet I'll just start up one business that would fetch me something to smile about everyday or better still open a Bitcoin lesson class, at least that would be something reasonable to use such amount of BTC to invest on.
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the new Apple toys & Invest in Bitcoin, history always repeat itself. on: September 16, 2023, 12:31:01 AM
Having the latest iphone is just not an issue but what's the point in having a device that you get to experience something new and after that you get bored of it when you see a new one because after getting to know and making use of the new stuff in it you just go back to square 1...waiting like a kid who's expecting an ice in the park.
The thing is, you bought the latest and after a month you get tired and expect another. Is like moving in circles, the life of an iphone is like a seasonal movie. No way forward, what's the point in getting it in the first place?

Chelsea would be visiting Bournemouth in their next fixture and we all have our hope up high especially the Chelsea fans that they see themself as winners in that encounter but that's really not the main issue but all they want is good result, who doesn't want a good result?
Going head to head against Bournemouth my question is, has Pochettino gotten his first 11?
Putting chilwell as LW is one of stupidest thing from pochettino. The heck was wrong with pochettino? Chelsea is still having mudryk to fill that position but he prefers to pick someone who played as left back to fill that position.
Jackson may miss a lot of chances during the previous match but he was overall good compared to the another player. Jackson was the only one who stand in up front while there's no one in helping him to attack its opponent.

Pochettino shall have stopped in doing some experiments to put the players in the out of mind position. The team needs to grow.
Hopefully the match against bourne will make chelsea to show a better improvement caused by the fixtures are getting harder as chelsea will face some strong clubs at the end of this year like arsenal, city, villa, totenham and many more.

1378  Other / Meta / Re: Is the first Merit the hardest Merit to get? on: September 15, 2023, 11:54:40 PM
No merits is hard to earn it only depends on how your first post likes, and whenever other members looks at your efforts or consistency then earning merits could be as easy as what one could ever thought of. It's difficult to you because you always wished to earn merits but that isn't the logic there, the main thing is how to settle your mind and feel free in every discussion you are engaging yourself the more real you become the earlier you earns more merits. So that is why people often says first time merits is very hard to earn.

If you have no guide on this Forum believe me you won't have any idea of what to do to even get close to getting a merit, that's how to get your post in line.
When I first joined the Forum I made my first mistake by posting without dropping a link, but I was corrected by lovesmayfamilis and she scouted (thanks to her) some of my post and boom I got one in almost a month.
So to me the first merit is the hardest to get if you're running off the line...

You are correct just as I have said earlier newbies often post with desperate manner to earn merits when they removed that mentality and know the right things to do or to post earning merits becomes so easily and that must be if the older members has seen your efforts and understand that you have come to stay then you will earn merits. let me just say we the older members here knows those that are serious and those are only eager to earn merits quickly and zoom off to the next rank, yes there is no crime earning merits but it should be that such person knows what he is doing and not just to come spam and expectingly to earn merits, believe me or not no one will want to waste their merits in such people including you you can't merits such profile if you were in others shoes.

That's true because after I got that correction I started watching out for things that need to be done so that I won't fail any rules, and as for being eager to earn merit desperation causes it and it makes one not to concentrate on why he or she is on the Forum.
Before giving out merit I believe that post or that user must have sent a message that's informative, like you said no one would waste his or her merit on thrash post. Have learnt a lot and I believe I still have more things to learn from older members like yourself.

Because is not all about going into a game and expect a win without figuring out who's to start and who's to start from the bench.
I know things are some how hard for the manager at the moment but is better he gets things together because I don't see Chelsea getting ready for any kind of competition outside from the EPL and other domestic competitions. So how can Pochettino get his men together and say you're my starting 11.
If you look at this fixture you'd know is another hard one for the blues and it might end in a draw, the team is not yet set for battle.

But to be frank with you, any thread that's not of use like those locked threads (I mean the ones that are not useful)  should be removed, that's what the OP should have said.
