1361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: June 21, 2023, 07:15:17 PM

One that I first learn is what the indicators are saying. This is very important and you can also learn this by just watching those guys who are also providing technical analysis.

I think it's the RSI that is the easiest to learn as it can be used in all TF. The moving averages are just to see where the trend's direction is. When to buy and when to sell is the next that you need to determine and with the help of indicators still, you will be able to decide when to execute buy and sell.

1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: June 21, 2023, 05:17:48 PM

It's always like the market learns that when people starts dumping, the market adjusts and suddenly shows prices are climbing up again.

One piece of advice that I listen to is that watch out for the BTC chart all the time in the monthly chart because if it peaks there like ATH, regardless of the price still rising up, you sell already because it's just a matter of time. Hold your stablecoin for good before deciding to so something about it.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 21, 2023, 05:02:19 PM
Agreed. However, if Trump wins against the lawsuits made against him, I am quite certain Trump would be ahead of sleepy Joe in the polls. What the Democrats are doing to Trump, they are making him a martyr. This is the effect if they keep on persecuting him politically.

Trump's odds to become the next president are also not that far behind from Biden. I do not know how or when his case ends but if he is proven innocent and if he is allowed to run for president, it might be a landslide victory for the Donald. The Democrats should pray that hopefully he is convicted.

If he is up by 6 points, then we can assume that the public is solidly behind him. Given the complications within the American legal system, I don't think that a verdict will be given out before the 2024 POTUS elections. So in all probability Trump will be fighting the elections under the shadow of conviction. Chances of Trump being proven innocent? That depends upon the interpretation because the Democrats are never going to admit defeat irrespective of whatever happens during the legal process. They believe that it will make him more unpopular. But recent polls suggest otherwise.

However, as you have mentioned, the poll was done by a biased source being a right wing group that might be trying to create some hype behind Trump. It would be safer to assume he is closely behind Biden similar to what the betting odds are suggesting.

In any case, if Trump is entering the presidential race while his case is also ongoing then the outcome of the election will imply if he is free or not. If he wins then as the president of America, he is legally immune from the civilian court. If he loses, the Democrats continue to persecute him and charge cases against him to make surwe that he goes to prison.

That's a weight to carry but Trump will really be facing all this challenge to win this race. He sees Biden has no chance actually. If Biden can answer back in a debate, he will lose. If he can't face a debate, he will lose as well. This has more weight for Joe because the questions will not be about ice cream flavor.

Trump will nail him with just a hand gesture. They better jail Trump right now and never get him out in the campaign period else Joe is on a collapsing bridge.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 21, 2023, 04:54:51 PM
This is a really tough fight for Charlo, he hasn’t fought for 2 years. Strange he did not take a tune-up fight first before fighting the best fighter in the world. Seems like a suicide mission but it will pay well, I bet.

I think Canelo will be the big favourite here, I predict a late stoppage.

Jermall Camp is putting their boxer at a big risk, Canelo is not an average boxer he beat so many good boxers in the middleweight and he is very fresh from dominating Ryder his two years lay off will have an impact, even the best boxer needs a tune fight before going against a fighter who is his equal but unfortunately Canelo is way better than Jermall.

Because of his camp's eagerness to face Canelo and get all his belt Jermall is in a dangerous situation he needs to train hard and get the best sparring partner that moves like Canelo.
I'm also predicting a knock win by Canelo his skill and power will prove too much for Jermall

I thought so too. It may just be as hoping for a fluke. Canelo is looking forward to a rematch against Bivol of course he will be looking for someone that could be easy to bring down and he is not wasting time,e he wants it next year. Although Charlo is one of the best, the division is Canelo's domain.

For Charlo to really challenge in a manner where he has to get loaded is like taking a fall for Canelo money.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins. on: June 21, 2023, 04:04:08 PM

Isn't there are housing crisis these days that many investors are already realizing that properties are quite not a hedge against inflation. Well, it seems BTC is already a sure profit because there is an early break out even before the year of halving. An investor right now will have doubts about sending his BTC out of his wallet because by the time BTC goes more than $100K, he could buy 2 houses by then.

One offer above says he will buy the house when his altcoin moons.  Grin Makes sense still.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: June 21, 2023, 03:27:17 PM
A predicament that a new casino will have to face which they either scam the user or accuse the player of cheating.
A casino has to have a huge capital in them, if they all lost it because of this one user, it's gonna be a situation for either letting the casino go down or him. Grin  They'd probably choose him and deal with the accusation of the player soon.

Different casinos have failed before, we saw them in this forum. Some are honest and some are not.

1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 21, 2023, 03:12:36 PM

Yes. They are even planning already what to do if they lost their capital. I guess the husband planned it all to steal the jewelry, he just didn't count one situation where the cleaning lady will be arrested. Gamblers are still human though, they feel bad just like everyone else, and they'd be sympathetic as well when something bad happens to someone.

The itchy feeling is just too much to resist like the smoker who would have to walk a mile just to buy a pack of cigarettes in the middle of the night.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 40 Twitch accounts for gambling advertising on: June 20, 2023, 05:07:32 PM

Twitch had already changed its policy regarding the influencers who features casino all the time on their videos. It was all over the news when they already prohibit gambling-related content, I'm not sure if the list will be helpful for companies, but most likely their twitter accounts are named the same which companies can still contact them for promotion.

Influencers need another video-sharing site that gives them more freedom, there are tons of them but the audience are often just on youtube.
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A hilarious video that shows so many persons ignorance about bitcoin on: June 20, 2023, 04:40:21 PM

If he just explains how much BTC is in naira, it will be chosen no matter if they don't know how to convert it to cash.  Grin

Although we hear a lot about it that Nigeria had been adopting BTC and there was even a time when the value of BTC in this country is way higher than the international market.  AFAIK the government of Nigeria even launched enaira which I assumed was to counter the adoption of BTC. You wouldn't really believe the adoption could be as massive as everyone will know BTC in the country. Not all will find BTC trustworthy especially when they have not even heard of it.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: The new U.S.-China agreement is a "forced friendship. What awaits the world ? on: June 20, 2023, 04:04:22 PM
U.S. Speaker of the House (at the time) took a trip to Taiwan flanked by fighter jets on her flight into the country for the sake of a PR statement, despite the contempt from China, and within such a short period Anthony Blinken takes a 180 degree approach. The American tax payer should be asking why Nancy Pelosi took the trip in the first place.

I have long said that the China-Taiwan (USA) conflict is likely to end in a soft and comfortable solution. Mutually beneficial. The US will make concessions and China will be satisfied with the "return of Taiwan", Taiwan will receive a fairly wide autonomy and even retain elements of independence and the right to choose "with whom to be friends and with whom to conduct business relations." But at that time I did not understand what concessions China would make. As events show - China "merges" Russia. He does not need this burden, Russia. More precisely, the land is needed, and apparently China is counting on them in the short term. But China no longer intends to mess around in "friendship with Russia"!

Now the cards are stacked.
The two poles of the bipolar world met and agreed, a compromise has been found!

I see this playing out similar to the Hong Kong situation. Of course the U.S. knows this but when the repercussions of their actions begin to reach fruition, the current administration will be long gone and it will be another politician's headache. Taiwan will be given some level of autonomy before all governmental functions and law enforcement are overtaken by Chinese authorities entirely.

China bad. It's what the narrative is just like all other countries destroyed in the past like Iraq is bad and then there is Russia also bad. But officials visiting China for talks, it doesn't sit well with the story.

When the US blocks China from manufacturing chips, China created its own chips. You see where it can go when they see the country has all the resources to survive.
Regular people just have to prepare for what's to come because the world order is changing.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Important Points to Learn from Your Worst Sports Betting Losses! on: June 20, 2023, 03:10:44 PM
The lesson I've learned from loosing sports bet is to take all bets serious. Probably every time I made a bet just for fun, just because odds seems to be like a easy win, just because "that team/player simply cant fail" - I've lost. I did not treat my money responsibly. Also a bet like "place a bet and forget" will probably lose. Every time I've placed a bet and watched sports, I end with more or less expected outcome. But when I place a bet, close browser and went for a lunch for example, it is always a loss for me. Play smart, focus, have cold head.

Sounds like the underdog won every time.

I'm more guilty of Prioritize quality over quantity: I sometimes bet on Tennis or basketball even though I'm outdated of the good players these days. As long as I can see 1.50 odd and the other is 2.00, it's good enough to go for the favorite.  Its also easier to bet an altcoin you never care to hold for long term, anyone who also BTC is more important may really max out their altcoins in one match.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: The new U.S.-China agreement is a "forced friendship. What awaits the world ? on: June 20, 2023, 03:00:05 PM
US not supporting Taiwan's independence has always been their position on paper but don't listen to what they say and look at what they do. It's laughable that they claim they don't want conflict but they're pushing for it. US have been preparing in case China makes a move on Taiwan by increasing their military presence in Asia. I read somewhere that NATO is also making a move by building a base in Japan. All these suggests that they are trying to make the same strategy they did against Russia.
When your currency is not doing well and the world dream is to abandon it, when you have a proxy war with Russia and when you have NATO troops across the Europe and Asia, you can't really afford so many things at once. The whole world is not in war anymore, Europe isn't destroying itself and Japan doesn't have a holy war, so, it's not that easy to remain a global leader and superpower today.

So far the West can still proclaim a lot of things thru the media. The headline was that there is progress when China and US have meetings with the head office. But you can see the photos of Xi Jinping didn't even look at the camera. It may sound good on the headlines but later on when Blinken still says they'd fight for Taiwan? That's when it becomes fuzzy. There never is a good result to this visit. The provocation is still up to start a war.

1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2023, 09:11:21 AM

A great depression in one region, doesnt mean all region will have depression. Just like there is dark age in EU means theres also dark age in Asia. Its just their dark age, not everyone else's.

Now that BTC is used world wide, the dumping of its price may not actually be as fatal as before. And its still not going to die as long as theres Internet.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 19, 2023, 07:43:39 PM

That's Mayweather fight bring money to UFC and Dana. I don't think he regrets it. But you think its also the reason why Dana is not setting up Ngannou and Fury despite Ngannou asking for it and was trying to disappoint Nganou instead.

Its a mistake after another mistake though because he is also a determined stubborn. Ngannou still will get some boxing fights thru PFL.
1375  Other / Off-topic / Re: let me rephrase. I do not hate woman generally. on: June 19, 2023, 05:05:36 PM
...a lot of people are trying to hide...
it is too barbaric, we would dismiss anything violence as soon as possible as a gentleman.

...You are confusing ne. can you be more clear?...
You can look at my profile and find the answers. They need to hunt me down because it is a threat to them, if they can't kill me they can't sleep well at night. That is why I hate myself. Hope it clear the puzzle.

That doesn't answer him at all. So who are those hunting you? If you have something to clarify, you might wanna paste a link where someone accused you hate women.

Yep it's the nature of men to fight each other though. You can observe this even in the animal kingdom when men have to fight just to have sex with one female specie. One has to dominate the other to survive but this does not happen online. Only snowflakes breaks.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: The new U.S.-China agreement is a "forced friendship. What awaits the world ? on: June 19, 2023, 04:28:45 PM
This is a eyewash. A pure and white lie. The matter of fact is that the rest of the world do not trust either US or China. Both are warmongers and invasive in nature. So if both of these countries are planning for a forced friendship, probably that's good for peace. But I don't see that happening. Taiwan will remain as a burning issue here and the equation can change anytime.

So I don't see any reason to become overjoyed about their friendship. Change is the only constant and we will see changes in this equation.

None of them sees it as friendship. They all wear the front appearance but certainly, they look after the future outcome if they continue the military drills all around. Both will still play the same game but all these friendship acts will be accepted after all they will be cooperating in building economic growth.

US can not fight 2 wars at the same time and wars need Money. I don't see the end of the war in Ukraine still and they should proceed to talking about ending the Ukraine war while they are peace.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 19, 2023, 03:55:08 PM
Since gambling companies are registered companies, is it possible that they have stocks? Is there anyway to invest in a gambling stock? Or let's say gambling related stocks? I am thinking that if this is possible then this could be one of the ways to get the best out of gambling and investment, I can't help but think that most gambling companies in the U.S are almost successful, only little to none run of out business in few years, gambling is a lucrative business, so I need answers if this is possible. Thanks

Not really true. In crypto, there are a lot of casinos that shut down because the business is unsuccessful. In crypto, reputation is important and it could be the reason for its death.

There are several casinos that do have tokens and will allow you to stake which also gives you dividends. It's not guaranteed profitable and I'm speaking about my experience with two casinos I have tried investing.

Here is the list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353217.0
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A discussion On Too Much Gambling Addiction Topic on: June 19, 2023, 03:09:35 PM
One hot mother of all gambling addiction thread I guess will solve this issue. This gambling addiction thread will constantly rise above as everyday people have something to say and will serve as a constant reminder for all that gambling can result in addiction.

But will it really be part of the rules in the forum? Because any time of the day there will be one person who will create because of his casino addiction. There is no way this permission can be voided.
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoins valuable? on: June 19, 2023, 06:24:41 AM

^ If you buy BTC at $69 and you sell your coins at $100k by 2026, that's still storing wealth more than its price.

3. Bitcoin has become accepted as a store of value
Most individuals believe gold is a store of value. When Warren Buffet says gold has intrinsic value, he means the asset itself is valuable.
It is better you speculate the price from bitcoin price history and what is going on, for you not to buy at the wrong time which can make you wait for years again before the price that you bought it is reached and increase more to all-time-high. What I am saying is that bitcoin is a store of value in long term but not in short term investment.

4. Bitcoin is anonymous
Nobody wants anyone looking into their finances. Your finances are your business. Bitcoin is anonymous, meaning although Coinbase might know who you are, they don’t know why you made the transaction.
Which Coinbase? Coinbase.com is a custodial wallet and they also have an exchange. Any transaction sent to your Coinbase account is well known to Coinbase which can let anyone like the government or third party to know you.

Bitcoin transaction is semi anonymous or pseudonymous if you use noncustodial wallet with Tor or use a full client for privacy.

Crypto companies like coinbase can sell their data to the government which they also can use to trace coin holders. They probably have bought some data already especially the closed exchanges like FTX or Bittrex. The government sure will be interested in those who has lots of coins and whom they could next its transactions.

The price of BTC is driven by the market but what makes Bitcoin valuable is its demand.

1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: June 19, 2023, 05:31:22 AM

But we don't know if Diaz' camp is just saying that he's having hard time, we don't know if this is just their strategy.
I hope its a strategy so Jake will come soft against Nate, but one thing I'm sure of is there will be a lot of blood here because Nate is very prone to cut I have not seen him fight without a cut, his face is always full of blood if he gets cut in the early rounds he'll be in trouble, Jake is so good at exploiting his opponent's weak spot.
Two things will happen here Jake will knock out Nate or the referee will stop the fight due to Nate's bad cut.

That's very possible. Seeing the updates of both, Jake still has the winning advantage. When the fight goes the distance like 3 rounds, Nate will already be gasping and the referee will step in to stop the fight. They'd not wait for the blood to flood. On every sports page I've read, most of the comments say Nate is just not going to make it. They already see Nate will fail the fact that it's not his beloved sport.

If they did a 2 fight contract one in MMA and 1 in boxing, Nate will have a chance in MMA. Jake is also preparing his PFL fights.
