-snip-
Even you're not seen the person, but doesn't mean is impossible.

Could be there has some people are winning 100,000$ in here, but is not active who know right ? In gambling can be happen. Just like BTC and other while people think can't reach 20,000$ or 50,000$

But the reality can reach that number, so nothing is imposible.
Yeah that could be the case as there are people who are wagering quite rare and are lucky on that particular bet only and win that much amount while some others who are active don't win anything so anything can happen and this is how gambling is supposed to work in the reality that anything is possible.Have seen people winning millions in just seconds and also losing it in seconds so it's game of money and luck.
1362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 18, 2022, 12:19:44 PM

the testimony was raised by rollbit, not the player who managed to get the win, and it seems that the players who use big money to play so that they can achieve big wins, not many will show their victory because it could be risky for him and usually the one who shows it off is the player who wants get followers.
But if I'm not mistaken, has anyone ever won bigger than that on rollbit
Some players want to share their big wins while some want to remain silent but as you are aware about the username only your position is not at risk completely and you can do it.But still it's our own preferences and casino needs it as advertising promotion to attract new players. If talking about big wins then yes there must be similar big wins before also on Rollbit like the NFT lootboxes giving away million dollars BAYC and punks.
1363  Other / Meta / Re: Sending merit to merit worthy posts to team members. How would you look at it? on: August 18, 2022, 12:04:42 PM
I don't think anyone would be able to tell you this accurately because giving away merits is based on our judgement and we decide how to spend it.If you find suitable giving merits to team members like you think they have shared something useful or even if not the whole community you are satisfied with that post you can definitely merit that post or if you think it's not fine then you don't need to merit them.

We have seen so many cases about this and the answer remains the same that it's subjective topic and we are free to give out merits to any post we find quality one or helpful. There are some cases of merit abuse where we see people transferring merits to their alts and sending to the full limit to some Bounty reports also which is categorised under merit abuse but in your case it's entirely different so feel free to give it if you find it suitable.
1364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why all the Bitcoin has to be in the Blockchain ? on: August 18, 2022, 11:50:23 AM
When Satoshi Nakamoto invented bitcoin back in time it was set-up as alternate to the traditional mode of payment digitally over the internet but in a decentralised manner and to keep the record of it blockchain was needed. It is like a public ledger which is also decentralised and each and every bitcoin transaction is recorded in the blocks here.So you see it is whole system managing the network keep records of the database and when you need information you can drain it out accordingly. If there was not any system how could you see any past transaction?

So blockchain keeps the whole records of the transactions in the blocks mined and verified by the miners and each transaction have the fees that goes to the miner who has found the block. So you will learn a lot about these things once you start your journey.

For your help there are some resources like others have mentioned and over it you must read Mastering Bitcoin that will give you enough knowledge about bitcoin working.

Who is really Satoshi Nakamoto ? Is that Californian Japanese man or Craig Wright ?  I am confused about it.
He is anonymous and nobody knows about him and his last presence on the forum was December 13,2010 but Craig Wright is only clown who claims to be Satoshi to have those coins but can't prove anything in support of his claim and can't even sign a message from to verify his fake claim. So don't trust him on the matter.

Bitcoin is very good sound money. Better than paper currency . I wish I would have known about it 10 years back.
Many have wished the same and it's far much better then fiat currency which is inflationary and under Central authority while bitcoin gives you financial freedom and is deflationary but whenever you come to know about it's the best time.

Please teach me about how to manage Bitcoin Wallet. And suggest me how can I some Bitcoin ?
The best way to keep your bitcoins is the Hardware wallets or non custodial wallets that don't have your keys and your funds remain yours. You can check for them here.
1365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help needed I got attacked by hacker??? on: August 18, 2022, 11:34:37 AM
The most obvious reason behind it that torrent file that pushed the malware into your system and gain unethical access to your system and your wallets which is why I never trust these links by the youtubers who are promoting them. You don't know how many files they installed in your system and when you try to open them they ask for adminstration access of your system and allow changes on which we accept it and then they have the control of our system.

As said by others re-install the OS and if you are familiar with Linux then use it instead of windows giving your customize security control and less risk but only if you are familiar with it's usage.

Quote
Cyber criminals disguise the malicious shortcut by adding a legitimate file name (for example, at time of research, two names used were "The Girl in the Spiders Web 2018.720p.HDrip.AC3.lnk" and "THE PREDATOR 2018.HD.720p.DVDRip XviD-ACTiVX_THE PREDATOR 2018.HD.720p.DVDRip XviD-ACTiVX.avi.small.lnk).

Many users do not notice that the downloaded 'movie' extension is .LNK, rather than an .avi, .mp4, or other video format. Once opened, the shortcut executes a number of PowerShell commands that infect the system.

You must scan all the files after downloading them from any torrent site as most of them are attempt to gain access of your data with corrupted files so you must be safe on your end.

As far as I know, Trust wallet is available on the phone, so no matter what type of virus it is, it is difficult to hack your phone, but let me guess that you did the following:

 - You keep your seeds in digital form or in an unencrypted file - for example, a .txt file.
 - Kept all passwords in a file or used the same password.
 - You copy or type the password after downloading that app.
The last one seems to be the case as first thing malware do is install keylogger to your device and whenever your type something they have the access of your wallets and this might happened with @OP and there are risk associated with these pirated sites which should be avoided at any cost.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 17, 2022, 12:07:13 PM

Hmm.

Still gambling ~LOL you said gonna to quit from gambling. However, congratulation for the max win from Gate of Olympus. Don't drain out the money to fast into the casino okay ~XD. Cashout now or regret latter.

Once again, congrat.
Have seen some good wins on Gates of Olympus and you are right on the part that if he wants to then money could be drained out easily but if it's wagered like responsible gambler then it's good as he can cash out the winning also keeping some amount aside for gambling or as he wishes to do so as his funds.
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #LiveTheDream on: August 17, 2022, 11:53:51 AM

I guess he was trying to mention how volatility impacts BTC price which is common sense and basic knowledge. This is what makes these prediction contests so much fun since it's tough to tell who will win at any given point of time.
The volatility is part of Bitcoin and we can't handle it and these prediction contest are setup based on this fact only making it more fun and challenging for the members to participate and submit their prediction. It all depends on your luck and how can you speculate the market.Rest price could be in any range at the last.
1368  Other / Meta / Re: [Bitcointalk Party - Discord sv] Bitcoin Pizza bake-off contest! Enter by 29 May on: August 17, 2022, 11:40:07 AM
Impossible. Time invested in the forum or pizza is never a mistake Grin

Exactly both give amazing output as forum could give you knowledge boost and pizza could make you win a contest also  Grin

Here is the AI-Generated Bitcointalk Logo-

Had a bit of fun with that bot and impressed with the quality of artwork.
These text to image generator AI based software are improving day by day and as you say the art quality is not the like the 4 year old art but seems perfectly blending with what we expect it to be and in future it's going to take over soon.So just be prepared for the future.
1369  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: August 17, 2022, 11:26:03 AM
So this time you decided to submit the monthly report few days earlier like the old days which is great man and thanks for putting it up and I see lot of members take help from the same to have an idea about how their local board is performing on the forum. As usual the report seems good and will look into the details shortly.

Husna QA and ETFbitcoin are two merit source there, but I rarely see them sending merit more than 1 per tx where it can also affect the amount of merit distribution in local board.
The thing is you have merit source appointed who are actively sending merits even if it's 1 per TX as there are applications pending for some board and it's hard for them to get merits on their local board. Each source has his own way of distributing smerits on the forum and many send 1-2 in each TX but regular giveaway is necessary man.

Very nice work as usual.
This month it’s me slacking (got distracted by other things, also Bitcoin related).
I will start working on my review this night, after watching Stranger Things finale!
It's completely fine as last time your report was ready and this time it can take some time as it's time consuming process collecting all the data from different resources and then compiling them in visual format also.So just finish off the final season and many are waiting for your report as well.
1370  Other / Meta / Re: How to get 1 merit? on: August 17, 2022, 11:17:30 AM
I checked one of his service threads, looks like the OP has posted the url correctly but since he's a newbie and his activity isn't enough then the forum won't show it.
Yeah he has embedded the url link within the [img] tag but as he lack the activity it won't show up but only down he has been quoted for visibility and I think that's fine for him till the time being.

But seeing his no response it's unlikely that he will try to make more posts to gain the 21 activity as he has not made any Post after this thread and following his old style of huge inactivity period so we should also put full stop to any further discussion about him.
1371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 16, 2022, 11:32:42 AM

I just did a few spins and then kept buying features, I think I spent about $80 before getting Max Win. I was also quite surprised to see the results I got, on other sites I usually have to spend more before getting Max Win (this is a natural thing and should be). Maybe I just got lucky to get max win by spending a little money.
Each casino has it's own working and you were lucky on Rollbit that you somehow managed to gain that much with $80 so congratulations on the same and it feels good when fellow gamblers share their winning experience and it also boost the casino reputation in the market attracting more players.
1372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: August 16, 2022, 11:23:58 AM

Bitcoin developers have no control over anything whatsoever, least of which the network and people's transactions or keys! In fact bitcoin was created so that we no longer need any third parties and centralized authorities to control our money, in other words to get rid of the system you just explained here.
This is why bitcoin is completely decentralised in every manner unlike those centralised shitcoins in which you are not provided with the freedom and the main authority lies with the owner.

Bitcoin is free from these central chain of authority and all the developers and miners are working voluntarily and don't have the control over network which means they can't make any changes to the network and the whole process carried out in a decentralised manner from one end to other not involving third party and we don't need any changes in the system.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #LiveTheDream on: August 16, 2022, 11:13:35 AM

For those people who he's predicting bitcoin price when you take it very well you know that the application always go wrong because bitcoin price prediction is not always being constant some people do the line for the currency prediction but looking at it very well it will not you that it prediction of cryptocurrency is not something we can depends on.
I am not completely able to understand what you are trying to say but yes volatility is a major factor that affect these prediction contest and suppose you submitted a entry for $23k and the next moment a FUD or any negative news could hit the market plunging the prices to say $20k so now your prediction become wrong so we all know this and it's game of speculation only.
1374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'M NEW HERE, AND I WANT TO LEARN. on: August 16, 2022, 11:02:47 AM
My name is Finbar, I'm a software developer. I'm enthusiastic about bitcoin, and I want to learn more on how the system operates. Got introduced by my friend, but still a little bit confused. But I believe within a year or two here, I'll be brushed up. Please I need little cooperation with you guys, to help me achieve this goal, Thanks.
Welcome to the forum mate and you have reached the best place over the internet for bitcoin related discussion and enhancing your knowledge learning from the high rank and knowledgeable members here providing with legitimate information about bitcoin stuff.

Rest this forum is great library of resources you can explore according to your preference and topics you want to learn. But if you are looking for some specific topic on the forum then use google optimized search that can help you a lot :

1375  Other / Meta / Re: How to get 1 merit? on: August 16, 2022, 10:51:58 AM
You have been here since 2020 and you haven't even made 10 posts yet. If you continue posting in a similar fashion, you need a few more years to become a Jr. Member. Try and get involved in some normal discussions about Bitcoin and your activity will increase and so will your merit count if other members find what you share worthy enough. Thanks to yahoo62278, at least you don't have to worry about the merit requirement anymore.
The latest post has been made after a period of 581 days or say 19 months of period so expecting the rank to grow is like day dreaming and it would have been of little effort to push up to the junior rank within these two years. But stiil he has not made even 10 posts but if want it now then he has to make some regular posts and will gain the required 21 activity within a month and then he will be junior rank member on the forum.

OP, if you've got all the answers you're looking for (and it appears you got even more info than what you requested), please lock this thread using the button on the bottom left hand corner.  If you don't, this thread is going to fill up with useless responses *not like mine* that'll keep it going on and on when it doesn't need to.  Best of luck to you.
Yeah that would be best in case he has got his doubts cleared and work on his posting that will make him rank up on the forum to promote his business and add images to it as somehow he got his merit criteria fulfilled and it was his lucky day also.So now thread should be locked.
1376  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 08/08/2022 on: August 16, 2022, 10:40:32 AM
So here is another record for one of the generous merit source on the forum @DdmrDdmr who has now entered the 8k merit club :

Congratulations to him on achieving this mark.. Smiley
1377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 13, 2022, 11:37:56 AM

What about this one The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History? it's possible based on this thread, but of course if you're okay with the stranger achievement, not the one who you're already know it before. Though I don't know the games that they played, but it seems the odds is way above than 1x million considering how small the amount they bet and the winning they get.
This is why we call gambling the luck game and unpredictable as small bets could land you into life changing fortune. We have seen these big wins and there are many people who have win big amounts in the real world casino as well crypto casinos but we can only hope for the best while it's all about being lucky at one point.
1378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Remember to use search before creating new topics on: August 13, 2022, 11:28:14 AM

You can either use the built-in search or use an external search engine with "site:bitcointalk.org" appended to your query (without the quotes).
Using the forum search function might be complex for users as it show some messed up results with keywords highlighted you have mentioned in the search parameters which could be confusing for the members.Although you can filter out the search with lot of options like specific board, time frame and others but still advice you to go the other way.

The simple Google search followed by bitcointalk.org will give you a list of threads having that information and you can go through them easily and this is best way of doing it

Code:
 Table guides bitcointalk.org

This will give you the bunch of threads on tables from past dates also without any messed up results.

Or you can also check it through https://ninjastic.space/ to see if there are similar threads or not to avoid double posting of the same information on the forum.
1379  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 08/08/2022 on: August 13, 2022, 11:15:33 AM
So back with one more record of CM gang and this time it's for @Pmalek who has 4545 merits on his profile at current:

Congratulations to him and now the next milestone is 5000 merits which is just 455 merits ahead and all these are magical 4 and 5 numbers for you at current which is amazing. So best wishes for next one mate.
1380  Other / Meta / Re: Top 200 Active Members who have earned most Merits but have sent 0 sMerits on: August 13, 2022, 11:03:03 AM
We can use the Merit Dashboard to see some of these things. For example, the following set of filters list those that sent between 0 and 5 sMerits historically, have received at least 30 sMerits, and were last active this year:

https://public.tableau.com/shared/SHDCG54YX?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link

We can play around with the filters to fit different criteria. Perhaps an additiional filter would be necessary to delimit the sMerit TXs to a certain timeframe.
This is what i like about it that you can tweak the information according to your purpose and filter out the information.Have collected many merti related charts and information through this site and thanks for providing the updated sheets for these records also from time to time.

You only need yo to know how to scrap out the information and you can get lot of searches through Merit Dashboard.

So I just went through the entire list of users as seen in the OP.
Dr Charles is actually the only one who sent merits to someone. Therefore, he is not longer in this unpopular table.
Every other member is still at 0 sent sMerits.
So as expected they still are silent on the smerits and only one of them you have previously mentioned above has sent out those 25 smerits in a single transaction last year. When i was compiling the list above for 120 days have an estimate that most of them must not have not sent any merit after your last update also.

Has anyone of them banned also because I didn't check for it the last time so just asking?
