1381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too many exchanges and will increase in the future, what do you guys think about on: August 08, 2019, 07:17:26 PM
Many of them will either die a natural death or turn to scam. You will realize this is one of the strategy used by many project. they want to have their own native token then later it will be they want to have their own exchange platform. Thank God it has been revealed that many of them are faking trading volumes. Even if you check many of them today, you will realized most token that they listed are dead token. many of them will always running around to find project that they will list so that people can use the platform.
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: August 08, 2019, 06:49:14 PM
There are many basic things that you need to know and also, you have to be careful in believing what you are being provided by some site that is always created to list some projects. What I mean is that you need to do your own research. avoid making a decision base on what you are being told or hear. If it an ICO project, you can go through the whitepaper and ask question related to the core features from the team to show maybe they have perfect understanding of what they want to achieve. believe me, many project do not have money to develop a fully functioning website. If I were you, I will avoid those project. there are many online based plagiarism checking website. you can use this to check maybe the whitepaper is being plagiarized
1383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What DEX exchange do you use? on: August 07, 2019, 09:22:37 AM
I have used two dex before. Etherdelta and idex. I was very new to crypto then when I make use of etherdelta and I enjoyed my trading there. Although fees and minimum amount of ETH in the wallet can be as high as 0.02eth. Idex is the second exchange I have used before. It was a bad experience. All the token listed have minimum cap before you can trade. If you have below the cap, your trading won't be successful.
1384  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounty Manager Salary on: August 02, 2019, 11:20:58 AM
I am still curious to know how much bounty manager charge now
1385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: July 31, 2019, 09:46:12 PM
You did not invest so I don't understand your point by asking if the bounty campaign is profitable. As far as I know no amount you receive that we can term as commission. If you want to say maybe bounty hunting worth what doing then I will tell you campaign is not a luck. You can promote some and receive nothing or receive token that worth nothing. Some will not be sufficient enough to pay transaction fee while you can be lucky to participate in some that pays well such as harmony. So everything now is luck.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM ADMINS SHOULD HELP BOUNTY HUNTERS. on: July 31, 2019, 02:50:42 PM
It seems you don't understand  how stubborn some bounty hunters are. Since you are a junior member I assumed you won't know how much the moderators here are trying to make things better. If not, things will be far worse than this. If any substantial help will come, the moderators will need more of cooperation from hunters that I believe it will be hard to have a decorum. I categorically have been telling project Dev team that not all hunters are hungry and beggars because that is what most of them think we are.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your money could vanish in IEOs on: July 31, 2019, 02:34:53 PM
Third their exchange and below are not good place to consider when investing in ieo. Even some 2 tier exchange have also done bad. The problem I have with many of them is that they paraded themselves as a good platform with high and active traders but when ieo start to launch in them, we have truly discovered how huge their community group of traders are. Before this ieo of a thing, many of them don't have this function at all but as soon as they discovered ieo is the order of the day, they started implementing launchap to their platform. They just wanna make money off projects.
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3.75% of Americans ready to invest in ICO? on: July 30, 2019, 07:24:45 PM
Even if they want to participate in ICO, most project will not accept them except some few ones. This is because of their laws guiding many of their citizens. Most project dev believe ICO investment is very risky and they might get more in trouble when the accept US citizens and the project end up unsuccessful. We have seen in the past where project run away with investors funds or refuse to return investors fund when the sales is not successful. Such project won't want to involve US Citizens
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering: Bitcoin is used 800 times less than fiduciary currencies on: July 30, 2019, 07:16:02 PM
I have come to realized that many of those that are most like to launder money such as government of official and politician will most probably not consider using crypto because they believe it is very risk. I ones engage one rich man in a talk about investing in crypto. He didn't know bitcoin but immediately I start explaining to him that its online base asset, he lost interest and think its a scam. Most of them still believe the best way to launder money is to carry fiat and bribe their way to where they want to go and hide the money
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin or any other alts using VCC? on: July 30, 2019, 07:05:39 PM
The problem is that most merchant do not accept vcc because they are mostly traded on black web among blackhats but since you have not really tell us how you acquired it, then I think you can try indacoin. You can search on google for that. They offer purchase of ETH and BTC using MasterCard without need for kyc or verification before buying. Also you can check localbtc probably you will see some traders who might accept your vcc for other ecurrencies. I hope this helps.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: July 29, 2019, 07:46:18 PM
From my own experience, you will start to notice the team do not provide update again on any of their social media pages. On telegram, the team will start ignoring some sensitive questions. Or give repeating answers on and on again. When you check on some of them you will realize they are not as active as they are before on telegram and finally you can confirm that you have been scam when suddenly their  official telegram page is deleted on name change to meaningless words. I have also seen where team joke and make fun of investors after scamming them
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: July 29, 2019, 07:40:10 PM
Well I think most exchangers have term of use of their wallet both web based and desktop wallet. In the case where account got hacked due to attack on the platform. The coinbase might be blame. However, if you account got hacked as a result of you not keeping your account information save then you are responsible for the loss. There are many thread here on btt that already discussed some ways to keep your account save from hackers I believe you already know what and what should be done to protect your account
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what solutions do make to cover Loss on: July 29, 2019, 07:34:22 PM
There is always tension when you lose money in trading. In fact, there is high probability that you continue losing because you feel nervous and you wanna get back your money you have lost. However, things don't go that way. You need to look for method you can adopt to make back for your lost. Don't forget you have to be patient and don't do things in rush. You can't recover back all your loss in one day. If you thing you can, you will continue losing your money.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: July 29, 2019, 07:29:21 PM
I think you are getting too much addicted which make you a gambler and not a proper trader. A decent trader will have a basis for every coin or token he or she intend to trade. The best way is to have a target and probably a very possible one. No matter how small it is. It is something do not just rush to buying just because a particular token just went up without you knowing the reason behind that. Do your own research and invest wisely. Sometime I may not make more than $50 in a week but I'm satisfied
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: July 28, 2019, 05:58:34 PM
There is no significant difference. It is an advantage to hunters while it is disadvantage to dev when using stake instead of fixed token. This is because for a stake allocation, the token allocated is fixed. Meaning, if anyone do not fulfill the weekly report and do not have the stake, it will be an advantage to hunters but if the token is fixed, it is not. Irrespective of the two, if the token is doing great and the project has solid background with great token sales. Everyone will smile
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: July 28, 2019, 05:26:14 PM
There is huge risk associated with bounty campaign. Either bounty requires kyc or not, the fact still remain it can pass or fail. Probably you are lucky to get campaign that doesn't require kyc getting listed and seems OK compare to the one that doesnt. I think the reason why many project require kyc is because they are try to be in compliance with laws and regulations of the country in which the project is registered. To you bounty hunter, you may not fully understand the importance but investors does. In fact there are some investors that believe more in project that do kyc than the other.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Screwed Up on: July 28, 2019, 05:11:54 PM
If you do not facilitate the sending to the wallet, how come your money is sent to that address. You have not also tell us which account you are using. Are you sending from online address or desktop wallet. I have seen and hear about address hijacking threat. Are you using electrum wallet? Because people have experience this in the past. My advice is that when you are using desktop wallet, make sure you download from official website of the developer. For your sent coin, I don't think you can recover it back because it is gone. That is reason why you must double check the address before you send your coin to any wallet. I'm sorry for your pain. It is very painful though.
1398  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The most important part of investing in bitcoin is timing. on: July 24, 2019, 12:57:25 AM
Right timing match with correct sum of money to invest on to me are the major factors that should be considered. Nobody knows when the next bull runs will come and this is exactly reason why many people always say you should buy when the price is deep but not knowing when is the right time to buy and how deep to be considered. Investing with a little amount of money might not helps now because the percentage rise the price may not be that big like it was in the past.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coins Delisting on: July 24, 2019, 12:49:23 AM
Regular delisting of coin or token pair that gives zero or no volume within a long period is what many exchange do in order to free their database and improve their platforms. What is the essence of having many coin with many grading pair but at the end of the day there are no trading volume. This does not mean that the coin be delisted is dead or the project is a scam. Intact some of this coin being delisted might be one of those pair with huge trading volume on another exchange platform. It is just a routine which is very good to be considered by great exchange platforms
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 24, 2019, 12:42:59 AM
All the criteria you have listed is really good but you still cannot know intention of a project dev until the campaign ended. From my experience, irrespective whether the project is great or maybe the team is fantastic. Most dev do not like bounty hunters. They maybe cajoling you during the campaign but as soon as the time reach for them to pay the tokens, that is when you will know the real attitude of many of them. Participating is campaign successfully this days is mere a luck to me.
