1381  Other / Meta / Re: Is the first Merit the hardest Merit to get? on: September 15, 2023, 10:44:18 PM
No merits is hard to earn it only depends on how your first post likes, and whenever other members looks at your efforts or consistency then earning merits could be as easy as what one could ever thought of. It's difficult to you because you always wished to earn merits but that isn't the logic there, the main thing is how to settle your mind and feel free in every discussion you are engaging yourself the more real you become the earlier you earns more merits. So that is why people often says first time merits is very hard to earn.

If you have no guide on this Forum believe me you won't have any idea of what to do to even get close to getting a merit, that's how to get your post in line.
When I first joined the Forum I made my first mistake by posting without dropping a link, but I was corrected by lovesmayfamilis and she scouted (thanks to her) some of my post and boom I got one in almost a month.
So to me the first merit is the hardest to get if you're running off the line...
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2023/2024 on: September 15, 2023, 10:24:36 PM
Someone said something about Leicester, that if they don't win the championship and get back to the EPL that it will be a shame, and I was like... Are you serious about a team that nobody knows when they're in form or not? Today they'll win the next 3 fixtures they'll lose.
But at some point I decided to watch this team play and I noticed they have changed completely, at least to me. I never saw them (Leicester) play with so much speed especially today, against a team that traveled with them to the championship.
Southampton played like they don't have hope of coming back from relegation was expecting that fixture to end in a draw because we're talking about two teams who knows themselves very well. But it wasn't what I was expecting to see after the away team started dropping goals making clean passes and was just shocked at what I saw.
Kudos to Leicester and I hope they return to the EPL.
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Gambling Strategies on: September 15, 2023, 10:15:47 PM
Talking about strategy to make you be in control of your gambling habit right? If that's it then I don't see it working.
Haven't you been in a situation where you have to follow your gambling strategy to a point where you have to dump it after losing heavily without you knowing that you're now on your own?
Haven't you been in that tight situation of not minding that "you" said after losing to a certain amount that you'd stop? Haven't you?
Guys I don't think there's any strategy that can absolve that illness called gambling addiction, it can't go off no matter you plan.
1384  Other / Meta / Re: can we use live signatures on this forum. on: September 15, 2023, 10:06:37 PM
I have seen that many users have live avatars on their profiles, especially in the Wall Observer thread in the Speculation board. but I am curious, can we use live signatures too? have you come across any users who have applied live signatures?
I like to know if we can use live signatures here and, if we can, what level or rank do we need to reach to use them? I could not find any information when I searched using search button. Has anyone here tried making a live signature, and if yes, could you please share the BB Code for it?

OP I don't know if that depends on rank but all I feel about that is that, it can only happen to those members who have been here for long like those who have better reputation, those prominent members per say, don't really know how to place them but you know what I'm trying to say.
Live animation or sig as you call it is some how hard to see on members like you and I. Don't take it to heart 😅 but you have to work your way through to that stage.
But why do you want to have such?  Because to me it seems you feel like having it, I'm I correct?🤔
1385  Other / Meta / Re: Use less (No subject) in MP, please on: September 15, 2023, 09:57:07 PM
OP that's true but at the same time, not everybody cares if the message comes with a title or not, they just open and glance through.
Every receiver has his or her own way of taking PMs. Some find it hard to even reply while some forget about the title and flow with the message.
I don't have issues if the message comes with a "greeting" title, as long as your messages are not abusive, I'm cool with that.
But must some, if not all the messages come with a title or a reason why you have to receive or respond to the message?
Why not read it and reply if you choose to?

OP for that I'm sending you a message 😅.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 15, 2023, 09:44:31 PM

This game is like the battle of the Titans and I'm loving the way the away team are taking all blows Bayern Munich are throwing at them. The match is so tensed that even Thomas Tuchel got a card, I feel is not going to end the way it is now and if care is not taken he might lose his cool and get a red card in this encounter.
I have this feeling that the second half is not going to end without both side scoring, there'll be goals in the upcoming half, with the way Harry Kane is hungry for goals I think he might even have one or two in the second half, that's if Leverkusen isn't careful.
Bayer Leverkusen has shown that they're a very strong side this season and has made the match very tough for Bayern to win it, when Harry Kane scored the opener in the early period I thought it was going to be an easy task for them and they'll score more goals buy I was surprised to see Leverkusen equalizer later and even ended the 1st half with a draw, though Bayern Munich are very dominant in the match but I'm enjoying Leverkusen performance and I'm suprised they'll hold Munich to a 1-1 draw up to 70 mins of the game.

Anyways, in my opinion I think Bayern Munich deserves to win the match if you check the stats you'll see that they've had up to 15 shots with about 8 on target, i love their quest for goal especially Harry Kane who's very eager to score more, well the game is still on and let's see if Leverkusen would be careless to allow Bayern score after they held them to a draw for more than half of the game.

These days I don't see stat as what qualifies a team to win a match, good thing they played out a draw but that doesn't mean they were up to the task, talking about Leverkusen.
They can start up strong I mean very strong and sharp but the question is, can they keep up?
Bayern Munich are always giving any team who wants to rob shoulders with them time until they (Bayern Munich) come out in full force to dominate them and lift the trophy.
Take a look at Dortmund last campaign, they did all the shoulder robbing but when it matters most they fell like a tree that has no stem, so I can't applaud Leverkusen yet until I see them making Bayern Munich handing the title to them because they still have a long way to go.
1387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Interview questions on Bitcoin for newbies. on: September 15, 2023, 09:29:06 PM
What is difference between public and private key?
What is Bitcoin address?
How do I receive a Bitcoin?
What is Bitcoin trust?

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://mindmajix.com/bitcoin-interview-questions&ved=2ahUKEwifpoaRl6yBAxV3RkEAHRW4BBEQqb0CegUIABCrAw&usg=AOvVaw2NC7r3XoFQYnqrpoBnM21m

Bitcoin trust is based on the fundamental valuations of human faith in mathematical algorithms, encryption and numbers on network operations.

How to receive Bitcoin simply provide the sender with your Bitcoin address which you can find in your bitcoin wallet.
What is your answer for first and second questions?

Was thinking you have answered the question to your question... Is like you're trying to do something similar to what someone has already done. Well, I feel you're trying to be creative... I admire your effort.

What I'm trying to understand is what you are hoping to achieve with these questions, Op. If you are meaning to have your knowledge of Bitcoin tested, why not try this questions created by @zasad here. This is the beginners and help board but you didn't need to present this very preschool questions up as an interview? Well, @Hyphen supplied a helpful link for which to help broaden your knowledge of Bitcoin.

Sometimes the way and manner some members make their post look like they do not know the kind of information they want is some how confusing to those reading it...

OP Why not ask questions like, "can we generate more than one key phrase"?
Or "can our Bitcoin address be used by hackers to hack our wallet"?
Since you're a newbie or new to Bitcoin world...
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 15, 2023, 07:30:00 PM
Are you watching top standings Bundesliga teams between Bayern vs Leverkusen? seems excited until 30th minutes both teams have scored one goal each other.  Bayern Munich lead awhile trough Harry Kane goal and Leverkusen success make it draw after Alex Grimaldo goals in 24th minutes. Current statistic, Bayern Munich managed controlling ball possession and they have created many attempt than Leverkusen. I don't think with this excited match will ended two goals, both teams have chance for scoring goal again due more minutes left exactly on second half.

Favorite with Leverkusen will win in this match and looking for Bundesliga is not dominance by Bayern Munich only for this season after success dominating more than 12 years..

This game is like the battle of the Titans and I'm loving the way the away team are taking all blows Bayern Munich are throwing at them. Merit fishing
You will see someone with thousands of merits accusing another person with 5 merits of merit fishing. I mean there is a merit system, it should not be a crime if anyone makes posts to earn merits in order to rank up, whether they fish for it, hunt it or the merits locate them (which is very rare.)

The Forum do have a system by which the merit flow but some of these users do abuse it, that's where it kinda looks like a crime.
Before that accusation comes I believe there would have been some dig up on those affected account, either they're connected or something. Take the case of @deadsea, things went South for him and up till now he hasn't come up to defend him self about being a merit farmer or something.
So I won't blame it in anyone with a huge amount of merit accusing those with little number of merit.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 15, 2023, 04:50:40 PM
Hammers are enjoying a great run since start. They have brought in some good players from the Declan Rice's sale. Personally I think City are still way ahead in terms of squad and tactics but right now I feel that Hammers might have a chance against City. It's interesting to see that lately Alvarez have been playing behind Haaland in the formation and is making the run when opponents defence focus has been on Haaland. Hammers really need to be aware of that and needs to mark both Alvarez and Haaland in their upcoming game. It's a tough fixture but I think Hammers have a chance if they do things properly.

Everybody will always have to talk about Haaland on this fixture as the main man to focus on but we shouldn't forget about Alverez (although he do come in as a sub, but I prefer him to start than Haaland) to be the key player for City because in this fixture I believe that the Hammers could mark Haaland out of the picture and this could be a welcome party for Pep Guardiola (first loss) like making him (Pep) see that Haaland has never been a threat.
City have good players but Moyes is going to make use of what he have to get City to their knees, I can't see City dominating this game and is going to be a difficult one for the Citizens.
I just believe that no matter how hard Manchester City try all they could get is a draw and if there's a winning, it should be for the Hammers taking all 3pt.

1392  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a thread where one can submit his profile for review to get merits ? on: September 13, 2023, 09:45:39 AM
Not asking to submit my profile there but to spend some spendable merits I have. I am less active here and I think my spendable merits will expire soon.

If your smerit will soon expire please can I know the expiring 😁date?
You need not worry OP, just browse the Forum more and you'd see more qualified post to earn your smerits.
Hold on OP, what's your point for opening this thread?
Like we all know, Smerit is something you send out and not to keep it as one of your assets. Check other boards and you'd quality post to give.

Is it me or you complaining over something you know won't workout. Members are trying to get more boards and you want the ones that have been here even before you joined the Forum to be deleted? Hell no bro.
Come on and save yourself the stress and have a rethink, instead of deleting boards is best you say dead or old post that are not relevant to be deleted insteed
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 13, 2023, 08:53:22 AM
This is really catchy I must say, having something like 0.031btc and you say I should use it to get an iphone 15? Like why the hell am I going to use such huge amount (I know to some it ain't that huge) to get a device?
Well I think is for those who have enough to spare because I don't think someone who's struggling would think of getting an Iphone 15 for 0.031.
I can only think of that if the iphone can get my BTC wallet to at least 2BTC, that alone would but a smile on my face.
With the market not in the favor or any investors I don't think anyone would consider getting such a device with that amount.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 13, 2023, 06:53:40 AM
Life have been so hard for the Germany team and they don't have any thing to even give their supporters to cheer about since the beginning of this year and of recent, they fired their coach after losing to Japan 1-4 which was so embarrassing to me, and I was like, why are these happening to one of the best in the world?
Well, since life started kicking Germany in the balls, they accidentally got a win last night and I feel the supporters would be grateful because it has been a while since they celebrated a win till FT.
I hope the Germans would pick up from their narrow win against the former world cup winners and they don't have time to start rebuilding because UEFA Euro 2024 is just by the corner and the other competitors are not lacking behind, everyone wants to make a statement at the tournament, so is best they (Germany) start now.
1396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 13, 2023, 06:27:12 AM
Op, with all due respect to you, don't you know that last 2021 the ATH of bitcoin's value became if I'm not mistaken it reached 68k$, and after reaching that the value in the market continued to fall until now. Then the prediction is a prediction that can happen or. the prediction will not happen. That means it depends on each individual to believe. And I think many people are really hoping that 2024 or more will really plunge the value of Bitcoin in the market. But this is not an assurance that their prediction will actually happen.

And you believe that it won't get to that $68k anytime soon?
Things fell apart doesn't mean it must be in 2024 that it might get to that amount or even close. Some believe that with the positive predictions seen online, that it will surpass the current price from next year and I know for sure that Bitcoin price will have to delay for a while like the whole of this month (going up and back down) from what I'm seeing and hopefully it will start increasing again, as for now $30k is the target.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope is all I have left on: September 13, 2023, 05:59:33 AM
For people like us who still struggles to invest money on Bitcoin I want to know if one day, 1 sat can ever cost as much as 1 cent? Is this possible? Sorry I can't afford to dollar cost into Bitcoin like everyone else, it's very hard for me, all I need is hope.

I can only afford to invest into Bitcoin once in two month and that's not every with big money, you should understand my situation, I am too shamed to call a number.

Is there any hope for small Bitcoin buyers like myself? Can 1Sat ever be 1 Cent one day?

You have already made your point but to me I can't say because nobody knows if or when 1Sat would ever be 1Cent at least to what you can spend since you have that ambition of investing in Bitcoin.
Just know that time waits for no one and who knows, you might be there waiting for a golden stone to fall from the sky and things might be passing you by.
I believe you can get that money that's if you have something profitable but if you're just sitting and hoping I don't think you can get to your goal and never to forget that by next year we'd be expecting the bull (like they say), and never mind the weak price of Bitcoin at the moment, it will soon bump to a standard where investors would have enough profit, so do something.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can Bitcoin provide food for our table on: September 13, 2023, 05:44:50 AM
I have be wondering why people are queuing up in Bitcoin, then I began to ask if Bitcoin can make provision of food in our table. Because many people I know testify of Bitcoin and after I made my research concerning Bitcoin, I found out why people are comfortably investing in Bitcoin, is because it's a decentralized currency. then I have to come with the idea that Bitcoin can make availability of food in our table when we learn and understand the basic things of Bitcoin especially understand trading and long term investment of Bitcoin.
I think with trading they will be a provision of food in our table, when we understand the rules and regulations of Bitcoin, I don't know if this my concept can make a provision of food through Bitcoin. But I'm well convinced that with this my views over Bitcoin investment and trading it will provide or sustain human, if profit are been made. I know that Bitcoin should not be dependent on, and we suppose to make Bitcoin our side hustle but with seriousness on Bitcoin investment and trading, we can achieve a success.

You've heard of how people run around testifying on how successful they've been while investing in Bitcoin but never to forget that they do have bad times in the crypto business, it doesn't just come out green (like gamblers would say, green ticket), but sometimes things doesn't work their way and it takes time for them, I mean investors to get that huge profit.
And to me I'd say yes that Bitcoin have not only put food on the table for many but it have changed the lives of many users in this Forum and some who doesn't have a penny that started using the Forum to learn one or two to start up an investment last year to get something profitable are now living the life they never had, like taking care of their 2-3 children as the case maybe and many more so I'd say with patience Bitcoin can bring so much to the table.

To the not-yet-tied guys and gals out there. If you don't want your soon-to-be companion in life to touch your holdings, just get into a prenuptial agreement of what you own like assets in crypto or real estate or as in anything. It's an agreement for those that you haven't heard it yet.
And this is also the reason why many marriage got their own downfall when they don't agree to each other in terms of finance, assets and investments. That's why before you tie the knot, make it sure that both of agreed to the likes of each other and accepts whatever it is because both of you are on your behalf and have each other's back.

Even if the both parties are on any sort of blood oath I still don't think that would prohibit the other from eyeing the property of the other.
Some of these marriages happens because of what the man or woman have. With that kind of marriage you expect them to stay together till they die? Even if their vow includes in sickness and in health till death do us part? No way is that happening in any part of Africa I think.
