Man, I sympathize with most of these recent posts.
1) we all want moar players on SwC.
2) Affiliate program is really close. I expect a ~20% increase from this over the first 2 weeks.
3) Then the android client will drop, increasing player base further
4) All the while we will improve the product, fixing our bugs
5) Then Mac client. Then Linux client. More players
We are grinding towards this and the ~1-2 months it will take to realize most of these things is going to be filled with "Wow this is smaller" and there has already been some poker media claiming "SwC Poker opens to dismal results."
I have to laugh. Some poker site have been trying to years to open and haven't dealt a hand yet. We are ~2 weeks into this. So much to do. Please keep helping us by reporting anything wrong with the software. We are going to get there, it will take time, there is no doubt pain in this initial period.

kind of like the idea of a weekly & monthly krill-roll(s), something where you must earn X krill within the week/month.
also must keep the legacy krill-rolls in some fashion.
Lots to consider, and likely at least 1 month away before rolling them out.

With 189 players connected, SwC Poker is currently a bit smaller than Seals was. Blame it on the windoze  anyway, when we build out our platform and fix our bugs, these games will fill up. Remember table starter rakeback is on for all games, 6max+. Playing 2 or 3 handed gets you auto-50% rakeback, so that is a proper incentive to help me start some games until we have all clients & the affiliate program. |

I posted the following on the old thread by mistake  I just noticed that I received my krill + table starter rakeback 3 days ago. It is listed in Cashier>Transactions along with every table buyin/reload as well as every time you leave a table. Please put it on your list of things to do making the transaction history more like it was on Seals. I'm sure you can make it even better. Thank you it's been added to the list of things to filter from that screen. Every table sit & table leave is of course waaaay too much info spamming the transactions screen. thanks for pointing it out, we're on that one. Anything else please feel free to post it publicly here - all feedback is valuable at this early stage. |

1) tyvm for the UI suggestion. I agree we need to work on that "highlighted player" graphic. We did it once about 4 months ago before we were actively playing with it in beta format, time to take a proper look now that 1000's are using it and quickly identifying all issues
2) yes, we have some help, but could still use a graphics / css / web design guy. Ideally they would be a master of the Photoshops or Gimps and be able to and excited about coding an HTML5 client when the time arrives.
3) Affiliate system still really close. I know, I know, I blew it on the time-promise here. We are testing it still.

1) walleting system caught up about ~3-4 hours ago. if anything isn't all good msg support@swcpoker.eu2) OFC/p tournaments are really fun IMO. They haven't been spread much, this is one of the most innovative features of SwC IMO. A heads-up shootout version is a neat idea, and will be tried. When we did a 3-handed shootout, the time waiting for other tables to finish was annoying. It wouldn't be quite as bad for heads-up, but it won't feel right. I'll show you. 2a) The 3-handed OFC settlement rules will be better explained. The 1-chip thought experiment is fair because the button is random. A hypothesis regarding OFC MTTs could be that button draw for a new table becomes more important as you lower player chipstacks. This way of settling OFC makes for the ability to play tables stakes OFC & bust players in tournaments. It is fair in that all have to play under the same rules. I think over time, players will come to understand how OFC is settled and start to disect the myriad of player-facing considerations deep in OFCaments or low on chips at the cash tables. |

Probably not the right place because the ofc scoring comes from elsewhere, but it seems bogus to me. I'll post here in case it's a bug, because I just don't get this.
this is probably because there was a shortstack in the hand, but here it goes.
Hand 1. Seat 3 gets kings up > 8s up > Aces to beat my flush > 66 > q high for 6 points, so I ship him 750
While he's in fantasy land I get 3s full > 777 > AA, which is better than his flush > qq > 22 by 19 points, but he ships me back 685. Feel like I should at least get the money back from the hand before, and not getting fantasy land because the 3rd guy didn't have enough money to pay me (even though he didn't bust) sucks too.
Short stacks make every game horrible. Don't short stack/don't play with short stacks and you won't have any problems. It was a tournament, and it turns out I may have been the short stack (didn't realize how bad the 3rd guy got beat in the first hand) but I still don't get it. If I had enough chips to lose 750 to seat 3 in the first hand how can I not win 750 the next hand? 1) OFC table stakes settling is confusing. I'm sorry I haven't made the page explain it better. I was going to make videos but recently all of my quality electronics were seized, so I'll need to hire a man. 2) "Action on money only once" means if you win 750 chips, then the amount in play for fantasyland is [yourstack] - 750. |

I have been combing the internet the past few days reading news sites, forums, and review sites.
Some have accurate information, others have wild speculation.
Just note that you can always come here and hear it straight from the source if there are any questions.
1) Other clients: HTML5? sure, eventually. Mac? you know we want it worse. "WHY IS IT ONLY WINDOZE YOU FOOLZ?" Remember, we relaunched SwC with brand new software in a matter of days. This should have won an American Poker Award, but sadly we were once again snubbed. The other clients will be built, with Android, Mac, & Linux coming first. HTML5 seems to be popular enough that we'll have to do it. I don't expect it to be in the next 2 months - the other clients are more important based on users.
2) Table Starter & Krillback have been paid. Next week should be smoother.
3) Affiliate program likely tomorrow. I know I keep saying that. It's really close.

They want to have non-Windows versions more than anyone in this thread, because more options means more players.
Unfortunately the launch conditions weren't ideal, and the choice was either Windows only for now or none at all.
It's not like they're just slacking and ignoring everyone. They have a greater interest in it than any one player, and they will release them as soon as they can.

Someone on 2+2 claiming a straight flush in the back did not let him repeat FL. Probably not a bug, but just checking.
You don't get to play FL if you (or all your opponents) already gambled all your chips this hand. The site isn't at all clear about how many chips you've gambled per hand by default, although glitch posted earlier today about a way of getting it to be a little more forthcoming about it. Note that FL is considered to be an extension of the current hand, not a new hand. So if you already doubled up on a hand, you can't get to FL no matter what. 1) check this page: https://swcpoker.eu/chinese-poker-rules-gameplay-scoring/ it's a work in progress, but we'll properly explain what I have called "Action on money only once" and OFC settlement order. 2) We are going to intentionally press the reset button here to drop in some new updates. 3) working hard on connectivity and game-related bug fixes all day 4) tablestarter & krillback should be coming today for real this time. |
