1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to dump without having a huge impact of value on: July 23, 2019, 07:02:26 AM
There are many way a dumped can be influenced. Firstly, no matter how a coin will be dumped. A good one will still grow organically. Exchange is very important especially now that many projects are not getting much investors. If the token is not listed on exchange with large traders, the token will be dead on arrival. Many project this days contribute little or zero money to development. They always rely on money being raised. Some do not even have many to properly build a website not to talk about partnership agreement. Such project will continue to struggle until it remain dead.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: July 23, 2019, 06:53:28 AM
The exchange I don't recommend is a clone name of HITBTC which goes by the name "HIBTC", please take note of the absence of T after I in the fake exchange. They boast of transaction mining and other stuff to lure traders in but will never pay big withdrawals.
I have not use them before but this seem to me like a scam exchange. This is probably going to be the worst exchange. It is only in some gambling website I have heard this before. To me I have bad experience using Latoken and Dobitrade. These are the two worse exchange I have ever used. I can't advise my enemy to use any of those two exchanges. Dobitrade has a lot of scam and dead project. They don't delist and you can actually check to confirm this. Presently, there a particular scam project called BNOW. It was listed on dobi and up till this moment, it is still there. Latoken traffic information is mad but you will never believe they have zero liquidity. They are dumping ground for many dead and fake ICO and IEO.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good ICO, what criteria? on: July 23, 2019, 06:31:45 AM
I actually help in promoting AION and Bitdegree. Believe me you don't need to look too deep before you know a project will have good prospects. Nearly all the projects we have this days are imitation of already existing ones. Good projects are solidly motivated probably because of idea behind them. Bitdegree is still doing great and if not because of the high volatility of the crypto, it would have been one of the top altcoin. Amon is still another great project. Although, the team are having a challenge in getting all the licenses required but I'm very optimistic it will make top list one day
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: July 23, 2019, 05:11:33 AM
Reason why IEO is adopted was because a lot of investors feel it is more safe to invest in IEO. They believe the issue of scam associated with ICO will actually reduce not knowing that there are still bigger problems aside the issue of scam. Many of the exchange platform that do IEO are not reliable. I ones read here on BTT how many exchange platform now liaise with project dev to have their project listed for IEO on the platform. They are hungry for traders and high daily volume but not protecting the traders investment. It is very hard to make profit on any IEO now. They will always tell you it will happen when you invest for long time but many of them will be dead in less than 6 months after listing
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Renewable energy altcoins on: July 23, 2019, 05:03:41 AM
I have invested in few of them in the past and recently I also invested in bluenote. Despite all of this projects being able to identify problem related to need for renewable energy and other form of solving high cost of electricity, I still haven't found anyone that has successfully implemented and give a working services. All I see is just few of them getting listed on exchange and after that, no further development. If this project you are promoting is really into tackling these problem and provide working solution, it will really be very ok
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: July 22, 2019, 03:50:56 PM
Some project run their token sales like ponzi scheme. Giving some big investor huge discounts while other investors are treated equally and they have the goth to blame bounty hunters. Many of the dev team have always use hunters as leverage for perpetuating evils. Now their secrets are no more save. Many of them now lock hunters token but the result still remain worse. XCT is an examples of this. Most of them see hunters as hungry lions. Until hunters wake up and stop falling for campaign that promise unrealistic allocation, thing will continue to go from bad to worse
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best IEO'S to invest in 2019? on: July 22, 2019, 10:29:45 AM
To me the best IEOs should be from binance or okex among other very few good exchanges, the category of the projects you mentioned are many and they are not going for popular exchanges, aigo protocol is kinda cool and I heard the teams have already planned to list on binance, might just be a rumour though

Many of them will not want to go for binance and okex and they will always wanna give a similar reason which is that it is very expensive to list on such platform. Binance categorically don't list shitty project and they also do a lot of background check on many project that are being accepted. The fact still remain that many of this projects know exactly what they want to achieve and how they can achieve it including the scam ones. You hardly here about many projects listed on binance launchpad elsewhere except on binance.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best IEO'S to invest in 2019? on: July 22, 2019, 10:23:24 AM
don't trust IEO unless its done in the reputable exchange. small exchanges are busy trying to contact developers today to do IEO in their platform. you can receive messages on linkedin from their representative asking whether you already have funds for the project's development.  I got a message from a girl of digifinex telling me about cooperation.

Quote
we're looking for premium new coins for IEO/listing on our exchange. Are you interested in talking about cooperation?

and they are ready to discuss fees about this. anyway, times have changes though like today i'm more interested to projects in TRON and EOS than those projects doing IEO but still its good to receive an airdrop from them of course.
This indeed a revelation. I hope many investors will see this your post and learn one or two things. This is one of the reasons I do not support many of the so called exchange platform. I see them as mere a fundraising platform rather than decent exchange platform. Because of their hungry for traffic and traders. They have belittled themselves and have turn to contacting people directly and when you check such site, they will be claiming to have high daily volume with thousands of active traders. The fact remain, if they have all this, why are they still begging indirectly for project to do IEO on their platform.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Vs KuCoin on: July 21, 2019, 09:07:21 PM
The two exchange is almost the same in term of development and functionality including the UI. However, I don't think kucoin has higher number of active traders than binance. Although kucoin seems to have more asset listed than binance especially the altcoin. I have traded in both exchange but if I hold a coin that is listed in both exchange, I think I will go for binance. I'm not sure kucoin have transaction fee lower than binance and besides binance seem to be more decent for me.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs are more safe. But there are still problems that must be solved. on: July 21, 2019, 06:06:48 PM
Many of this IEO have proven to be unsuccessful. Aside being safe, which to me I don't believe it is totally safe because there are still some shit exchange platform that promote scam project and still offering IEO, the price of the token will still drop even if the token is $1000 each. This is because most project this day are not backup by demanding products and services. When there are no demand, how do you expect people to buy and when people are just selling without buying, definitely the token will be forever a dead token.
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 21, 2019, 05:59:48 PM
Bounties these days are just pure luck. You may think you make the right decision but later regret you have gone for the one you think it is righ. We all know how difficult to choose the right bounty especially when you are participating in signature bounty. Sometime a project will be fairly successful but all of a sudden you just discover that dev locked your token or even reduced the allocation to the extent that the token you received is less than a dollar  Grin
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: July 17, 2019, 07:37:16 PM
ICOs are not dead but it seems most of them are not making reasonable contribution compare to other projects that are on IEO. Files.fm is one of them. Despite the fact the project already have working products existing for many years, they still could not make 40% sales of the token allocated for sales and presently they are considering making a decision to go for IEO. However, it is not new again that many project also that go for IEO did not make 100% sales especially when listed on non decent exchange.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUYBACK TOKENS SOLVES DUMPING on: July 17, 2019, 06:22:06 PM
The buyback mechanism really have good effect on dumpers trying to dump their tokens ,lately two projects I promoted started buying back their own token from bounty hunters or big whales who wants to sell off and move on ,the first project is miracle tele project and the buyback is already on going ,the second one is about to start and the name is CHELLE Coin, buying back tokens is a brilliant idea what do you guys think?

Well, it works for the stock market.

But it's not really a healthy way for a coin to maintain its health. Nor even possible for a lot of crypto projects; not every dev has enough to buy back their coins like that.
And that is the exact reason why they should always allocate a decent amount of token for bounty hunters and not to just think they can deceive bounty hunter by allocating huge amount of token that they can not afford to pay or buy back. besides, this might not solve issue of dumping because many of them usually give huge discounts to investors that also dump the token. XCT token is an example. despite the fact that the bounty hunters is locked, the token is getting dumped. poor exchange platform is also one of the factor.
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: July 17, 2019, 06:08:33 PM
there are many information available on threads here on BTT that explain how you can protect your asset. The use of hardware wallet is one of them and many hardware device like trezor has been suggested by users. It is very important to note that it is not advisable to store your asset on exchange platform because you can lose them when the exchange get hacked. Cryptopia hacking is still fresh in our memory. make sure you do not store your private key in emails and other online cloud storage providers.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: July 17, 2019, 06:01:00 PM
if  you are new to crypto, the best thing to first do is to read books and make a list of questions which you can find answers to on forum like this. BTT can also give you informations on crypto and trading because it is the largest crypto community in the world. As a newbie, you have to have it at the back of your mind that you should not invest more than what you can bear to lose. Some have suggested that there is no significant difference between gambling and investing in crypto asset so do your own research before making any decision.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can bounty hunters reclaim their respect? on: July 16, 2019, 06:15:47 PM
bounty hunters will earn their respect back when most of you stop promoting shitty projects. Devs know that most of the hunters are always looking for a project with a big reward, so they will pretend to want to give hunters big reward that they can not match. Look at the members here with high ranks like hero and legendary members. Hardly will you see them joining shitty project. we need to make them understand our worth. by the time many hunters start rejecting some campaigns, you will see that they will start taking hunters serious.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: July 16, 2019, 05:50:04 PM
how do IEO success affect the price of ETH?. you have not tell us how. To me, I do not think the success of IEO affects the price of ETH. I know you might be thinking that it will be done since there is continuous buy of ETH to be used for IEO thereby increase the price but you have not considered the fact that so many other factors are also involved in the price of ETH. by the way, it is not only ETH that many IEO use as currency for making a contribution. Finally, I stand to be corrected, but most IEO do not achieve 100% token sales.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find reliable and legit bounty Project on: July 16, 2019, 05:42:05 PM
if you are picking your bounty based on ranking you get from listing website, you are not going to make good decisions. It is better to do your own research and find out which of them to join. There are different projects that offer bounty and you may not actually know the best out of them until the campaign end. I once tell some hunters on telegram that you will never know the true colour of project dev until the project ends. Generally, you must have it at the back of your mind that most project dev do not like bounty hunters even though they offer bounty campaign so do not be deceived into joining campaign because dev sugarcoated the campaign.
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we ever have altcoin season again. on: July 16, 2019, 05:33:41 PM
when bitcoin bullish, people tend to dump altcoin to buy bitcoin and that is exactly why altcoin price fall. However, since many of the altcoins are majorly from the output of the project, I do not expect more pump when the bear market comes. people will generally sell off altcoin to buy bitcoin especially considering the fact that a lot of people now know the potential of bitcoin even at this moment when the ETH is falling very much, you can see bitcoin price fall is not that dropping and besides the projects nowadays are making the price of ETH faint.
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: July 16, 2019, 12:49:50 PM
Well if you are talking about safety and security of the platform, I think latoken is ok but since you have not tell us the coin you intend to trade, I will not be able to say much. I use latoken for more than a year now and in my opinion, I do not see them as a decent exchange. They lack liquidity and they do not have much active traders. Most people that use latoken only do so to dump asset. I see the platform as dumping ground. Also, Latoken do not actively delist dead coin but rather leave them. Latoken can be good for fundraising but I will rather go for more bigger exchange for constant trading
