1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside Las Vegas - Inside Bitcoins - October 2014 on: August 24, 2014, 09:57:33 PM
Trips to las vegas are almost always free anyway. I really don't see any reason why you would need to be spending a lot of money/bitcoin to go there in the first place. All this is a post of the back of what appears to be a beautiful lady.
While she probably isn't free, she does appear to take Bitcoin - so there's that.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside Las Vegas - Inside Bitcoins - October 2014 on: August 24, 2014, 09:25:13 PM
Is the photo real?

The ad didn't mention the cost of the service.
Well, I think the ad is real.  You could call her to ask about the rates: 702-463-0279

Let me rephrase. With current tech and BTC value, it will slow down.

Sure, after difficulty goes up another 10x.
It will be fun to watch.
It won't be fun if you overpaid for shitty 4.5TH/s @ 3000W machines while you calculated your DC to use 6.0TH/s @ 2400W.  That's not going to be fun at all.  That is going to suck.

apart from that, there are untested newcomers in the field with ridiculous claims.
At least with spond and bitmain-you know what you are getting. Not so much with half a dozen other outfits.
Yeah, with Spondoolies, you are getting about 60% of what was promised - but its all on paper because delivery hasn't happened yet.  With Bitmain, you get what was printed on the tin - and the damn things are already in the DC working their asses off.  With Antminer S3 - I am about 1/3 way to +ROI already.

With Yukon - +ROI is not possible.  With Yukon, it is merely a race to reduce losses.

Would others agree that those numbers are somewhat in the right range? I lowered the diff from %32 down to %14. Is the max profit of $318 even in the right ball park? Trying to get a grasp on that SP31. And those numbers don't even include a hosting fee either.
If it doesn't work for SP31, it won't work with any other miner in the market. The hash-rate growth will slow down. It must.
Buy SP31, host at a low cost facility.

it must...sounds like a bit of wishful thinking. I heard the same from KnC, which were saying that it would stay flat from June on.
Nobody predicted the current surge from ~120 to ~190 (200 at peak). At some it has to slow down, but nobody can identify that point: it could be half a year away.
Let me rephrase. With current tech and BTC value, it will slow down.
This comes from a guy (named 'Guy') who recently discovered his engineering limits.  Maybe the others haven't quite found the big surprises which hinder you from reaching your previous expectations.  Maybe they are more careful with their numbers and actually were able to predict the performance of those things they did later produce.  Every consider that?
1426  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 24, 2014, 08:17:02 PM
If you have the money, getting 100MVA is relatively easy in several locations, all you have to do is pony up some cash and wait 3-4 months for delivery of the main power transformer(s) and building of the substation. Not difficult at all, even 500MVA can be put in place within 6 months or less.

And you're assuming that no one has really low power asics.......if one of the independents had, oh I don't know, say a 0.12J/GH chip then 100MVA would equate to 600PH of capacity.
Thank you for the math lesson. Yup the mythical 0.1 W/GHs Smiley
Why stop here ? Why not calculate with 0.04 W/GHs  ?  Grin

His math is almost as bad as yours!!!  You figured 6.5TH/s for your SP30 and that all went bad too.  At least that guy is in the neighborhood.  I wouldn't be sarcastic when it comes to math my friend - you've done your share of fucking it up too.  Cost everyone a ton of money.  At least that other guy just has a blown fantasy.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 24, 2014, 04:40:19 PM
It's funny, ....

I'll tell you what is funny, these guys tried to live under the banner of "Over-Engineered" and then produced this garbage.  What a joke.  Computing the maximum load on a connector is not exactly rocket science.  The embarrassment must be excruciating.

I am a customer that spent $125,900 USD

That's a lot of cake brother.  If I were you, I'd be pissed.

You'll be happy to know I was paid by KnC to counteract RoadStress' bullshit in their forum thread.  KnC thought you'd just like to share in the trash talk that your guy delivers to them.  I'll tell you this, he outposts me 2:1 - so by at least one measure, you guys are winning.
[/quote]

1) BS
2) RoadStress wasn't hired by us to trash talk any thread. No one was.
3) Get a life. But if you enjoy it, by all means, do continue.

Guy
'PM' the P stands for private you moron!  lol

Wissam,
You've made your argument very clear. I've replied. We can't reduce our hosting costs of give further compensation.
I'm sorry you're unhappy about it. You're welcome to continue the discussion by emailing sales@

Guy
Yeah, but don't post here any longer - it is fucking up their good reputation.

To the black bitcoin miners market district trading SP30s for crack )
Did you get the crack or the SP30?

I have an SP30 on order, but I did find this comment funny  Grin
Most of my shit is pretty funny.  I've got people buckling over laughing at this bullshit.  While we don't have hashing, at least we've got a laugh or two.
1432  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 22, 2014, 11:16:23 PM
Spondoolies: a question...
Is there a hardware ID or other identifier (other than a order number) that would identify a machine.
Is this information being transmitted to the owner upon order fulfillment?
The reason-in a hosting environment, with many machines coming and going, mistakes could be made.
How can we ensure that a particular miner is mine and not someone else's?
I know that this is not your problem, but S3 all look the same and if there was such an ID, I don't know where to look (in case of S3)
Yeah right.  When Toomin gets a broken machine, you can bet it will never be one of 'his'.  Rather, only the customer machines will be those poorly performing and subject to malfunctions.  The joy of being the host I guess.  lol.  Suckers.
1433  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 22, 2014, 11:05:02 PM
We are not asking for something for free here, some of us have invested everything we have into this and that's a BIG risk and we TRUSTED you and your company only to be BETRAYED the way we did.

Also I suggest you maintain a public record of what order you have shipped/delivered so far on your Website so that we who are waiting can at least have an idea on how long we have to wait, because when we ask you you don't have an ETA and sometimes we don't even get a response to our emails. If you do this then the amount of emails that will be sent to you will reduce by a lot so it's a good idea to implement this.

Amen brother.
At first, no one trusted them.  Then, they laid on the very heavy assurances: "Seriously, we know what we are doing", "we will deliver", et cetera.  So then, everyone trusted them and sent a shitload of money.  They said they weren't like the other guys.

Now, they fail to deliver.  Deliver a very inferior version which costs more to operate.  Don't tell anyone about the compensation details.  Don't answer emails.  Don't inform as to the state of manufacturing progress.  Lies, silence, and bullshit.

They are now just like KnC.

Why the fuck should they care?  They already got your $$$.  "We are not like the other guys" is just bullcrap to win your trust.  They are exactly like the other guys.

They said they'd be sending out massive amounts of GroupBuy at the end of this week.  Nothing.

Has anyone heard an apology for us having to listen to their supreme confidence while having to suffer the financial loss of a low performance machine?  Nope.
1434  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 22, 2014, 10:16:35 PM
Oh shit!  Another full week come and gone - no new miners shipped.  WTF?  Spondoolies is now just like KnC.

Vague answers, no information, no shipments, constant excuses, blame on upstream providers.  I now seriously doubt they will ever get to the bottom of their SP30 deal.  As they are very thinly financed with a HUGE liability dragging them down, I'd say they are on the fast road to bankruptcy.  The others at least floated their mistakes with the coins they were mining.  But since SPTech doesn't even do that, they've got nothing remaining in their accounts.  That and they owe: 'compensation'.  I just don't see this company pulling it off.  They will soon announce the doors closing and you will be surprised that you read about it first from the one and only famed RawDog!!

What up Fucktards!

I thought Spondoolies was supposed to be shipping some SP30s today?  Did that also go bust?  Isn't the GroupBuy supposed to be shipping at the 'end' of this week?  That means tomorrow Friday - which is a holy day in Israel and nothing can ship then.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 22, 2014, 12:58:48 AM
Did anything ship today?  Anything?

KnC said they'd be shipping some Neptunes today and tomorrow.  Just wondering if they had another set back and failed to get anything out the shipping bay doors?
1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: August 21, 2014, 06:55:18 PM
You should make a cold storage paper wallet.  But don't risk loss of the private key.  You should give a copy of the private key to a trusted third party escrow agent so if you lose your paper, you can get the coins back.  I can be your escrow agent if you like.  I know a lot about bitcoins.  Send me the private key in a PM.
1439  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 21, 2014, 06:46:27 PM
Most of the rest of the staff is busy with issues related to recently beginning shipping, like handling support requests, fixing newly discovered issues with the firmware, etc.

I think most of the staff is working on the SP50.  Cash refunds helps no one.  The only thing which will make Spondoolies customers get back on track is an insane deal and early arrival of the new machine.  I'll take two please.

Spondoolies should spend all the compensation funds getting the SP50 out earlier and more efficient.  Why give cash back?  Nobody wants cash.  They want hashing.  Isn't that clear?

Please, Spondoolies, don't send any money back.  That does us no good at all.  We don't want money - we want hashing.  That is why we came to you in the first place.  Can't you give the people what they want?
1440  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 21, 2014, 03:53:59 PM
I guess I am residing in exactly one of those countries, and 3rd party hosting is no option for me.

But anyway many thanks for your comprehensive reply.
In certain cases, like Malaysia (or Saudi Arabia), we've shipped to Singapore (or Jordan) after the customer arranged it.
Would you like to hear my comments on Saudi Arabia and Malaysia with respect to Israel?
