1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the exact date of the next Bitcoin halving be determined accurately? on: February 26, 2023, 01:24:44 PM
I'd like to know if it's really possible to know the exact date of the next halving which is to happen in the year 2024.

I don't think we can. Just like we can't predict the precise timing of the next block or any subsequent blocks, it's not possible to predict the precise timing of block 840,000, which is still 61,640 blocks away at the time of this post.
1422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Survey regarding our Bitcoin Blockexplorer topic on: February 26, 2023, 01:03:24 PM
Question 1:
Rating from Blockchair Bitcoin Block Explorer 9 points
My only complaint about the Blockchair block explorer is the excessive amount of sponsored content and advertisements.

Question 2:
Remove "comments" column from our table - Yes
I'm having trouble seeing the "comments" column on my laptop. Even when I zoom out to 80%, all I can see are the first few words.

Question 3:
Include comments in "hover format" - Yes
1423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin as gift on: February 26, 2023, 12:51:36 PM
OP, I agree that it's important for your friend to understand the potential value of holding onto bitcoin in the long term. It's easy to get caught up in short-term price movements and make impulsive decisions, but patience can be rewarding in this world. Hopefully, your friend will take the time to learn more about bitcoin and make informed decisions about when to buy, hold, or sell.

Make sure your friend has a Bitcoin wallet or knows how to set one up. Without a wallet, your friend won't be able to access or use the Bitcoin you gift him.

Without a wallet, he wouldn't even be able to gift Bitcoin to his friend. Even a paper wallet is still a wallet.  Wink
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: February 25, 2023, 09:18:54 PM
Although many critics predicted that All Quiet on the Western Front would be nominated for the best international feature, it exceeded expectations by also receiving nominations in eight other categories, including best picture. Personally, I believe that this epic war drama is the most deserving of the best picture award. I recently watched the movie and was thoroughly impressed. The film effectively portrays the atrocities of war and offers a strong anti-war message, making it a top contender for the Oscar this year, imho.
1425  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: February 25, 2023, 08:55:02 PM
What are we talking about? The OP just promote his site with referral links. He doesn`t matter the quality of the casinos. He just wrote or even copypasted several reviews and made a site for getting profit from the newbies, who will register using these links. I can recommend not to use this site and these links, even if they promote a high quality casino.

Yes, I agree. In this case, it looks like the OP is simply trying to profit off of newbies without considering the quality or safety of the casinos they're promoting. As you suggested, it's best to avoid using this site and these links, even if they promote seemingly high-quality casinos. It's always better to err on the side of caution and protect yourself from potential scams or fraudulent activities. It's important to do your own research and make informed decisions when it comes to your money. There are relevant revew sites with much better reputations that provide in-depth and unbiased reviews of online casinos. These review sites often have a team of experts who thoroughly research and test each casino to ensure that they are safe, reliable, and fair.

I'm sorry for your loss. Your dad sounded awesome for supporting and encouraging you to explore Bitcoin. It's really cool that he knew so much about it, since a lot of parents don't really get into their kids' interests. We all know that losing someone close to you is never easy, and it's okay to take the time you need to heal, but it's clear that your father had a positive impact on your life. So cherish the memories you have with him and honor his legacy by continuing to pursue your interests and passions. Remember what he taught you and stay strong during this tough time.
1427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help on: February 25, 2023, 05:11:29 PM
OP, it would be great if you could be more specific about your questions. What's unclear to you? Are you unsure about where to buy Bitcoin or how to store it? Or do you need a general understanding of what Bitcoin is and how it works?

I'm a little confused and wonder why there are gamblers who want to place bets on the Oscars.
It's just an event to give awards to several well-known actors and accomplished actors.

I don't find it confusing why some people bet on the Oscars. Just like how some follow sports, others enjoy watching movies and placing bets on who will win Oscars. For some gamblers, the Oscars present a chance to make predictions and potentially win money. Plus, it's thrilling to watch the awards ceremony with a vested interest in the outcome. Besides, the Oscars receive a lot of attention from the media, so there's often insider tips and rumors about who's likely to win, which can be useful information for bettors.

I used separate account in separate campaign. That's indicate no intention to get double payment. My intention is solid.

You have applied with both accounts, despite the Bounty rules clearly indicating that it is not allowed. This indicates an intention to cheat, regardless of whether or not the manager has accepted it.

has it ever occurred to do the drawing directly, I mean broadcast live so that all can witness and of course there will be a lot of hope that the tickets they get have, have the opportunity to get their ticket out as a lottery winner, it will certainly appear transparent that the draw is indeed random but that will make everyone sure that this draw at Freebitco is true and honest, so that there are no skewed thoughts towards the draw at Freebitcoin.

Broadcasting the drawing can create excitement and anticipation for participants. Knowing that their ticket could potentially win can be a thrilling experience, and watching the drawing live can add to the suspense. However, I don't think that this will contribute significantly to transparency, since the FreeBitco.in lottery is already provably fair and it has multiple safeguards in place to ensure that winners are picked randomly and fairly.

<...>
So there's 99% chance that a winner will be someone with only 10 tickets. And then a bunch of geniuses on the forum is shocked how is that even possible 🤦

Yes, it's fascinating how some people suck in math. It feels like you're explaining the concept of fractions to a toddler.  Smiley
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is easier to make bets on? on: February 23, 2023, 08:03:13 PM
Do sport like football betting and MMA betting carries the same risks or one is more profitable to bet on than the other? Which one is more likely to easily predict than the other?

I'm afraid there's no clear winner here, just like in any other sport. Football is a team sport, so you've got to factor in things like team performance, player injuries, and strategy. Whereas in MMA, it's a one-on-one fight, so it's more about the individual fighter's skills, strengths, and weaknesses. That being said, I would say that MMA is more unpredictable and if you want something more predictable, football is probably your best bet.

Also, I need a platform where football prediction is certain, is there any of you guys using any reliable platform?

Betting always involves some level of risk, and no platform can guarantee certain predictions or outcomes. That being said, there are many resources available online for football analysis and predictions. You can check out things like statistics, past performances, and player ratings to get an idea of how each team is performing. There are also many websites that offer free tips and advice regarding betting on football online. There's no such thing as a perfect prediction, but at least this way you'll have some idea of which teams are likely to win or lose.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: pro gamblers rules on: February 23, 2023, 07:46:29 PM
you are getting it wrong man,

It is my experience with gambling in 1 and a half year, i think it will help many people to save their time and not get into depression like me
and i checked this website you shared it is very good i love it thanks

OP, I think you are the one who got it wrong. The issue at hand is not whether you have experienced something similar or not, but rather the fact that if you incorporate articles, paragraphs, sentences, or even inspiration from other sources into your post without providing proper attribution, you are committing plagiarism, which is prohibited on this forum.

I just searched it up and it looks like CryptoHeadlineNews is right. Even though you might have tried to change some words around, there are still whole sentences that are exactly the same as some other stuff online. So, it's pretty obvious that you just copied someone else's work. You should add some references or something to make it right before you get in trouble.

USS Nitze arrived in Turkey before the Earthquake

Seriously? How stupid can these conspiracy theorists be?
(That was a rhetorical question, as there seems to be no limit to human stupidity.)

Hey OP, there's another thread on this board that was recently opened which you might want to check out. Here's the link: "Recommend your Favorite Slots." Although the thread is now locked, there are many insightful responses that could help you in making your decision. Take a look at the link and see if any of the recommendations catch your interest!
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin and no downtime till now in 11 years on: February 21, 2023, 05:36:00 PM
What do you think guys?

Absolutely, it's true that Litecoin has been running smoothly for over a decade and has become a trustworthy alternative to Bitcoin. One of the main advantages of Litecoin is its faster transaction times and lower fees compared to Bitcoin, which is something I personally appreciate. Whenever possible, I use LTC to transfer funds between different platforms I use. This makes it a practical and reliable option for merchants, and I definitely recommend considering it as a payment option alongside other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 05:28:13 PM
It makes me wonder: why do gamblers tend to wait until they have suffered a catastrophic loss or a string of losses before quitting or seeking help?

I think some gamblers may be in denial about their addiction. They might believe that they can control their gambling and that they will eventually win back what they have lost, which can keep them from quitting or seeking help. Some of them probably believe that their luck will change or that they will hit the jackpot ato one point. Compulsive gamblers may also be embarrassed to admit that they have a problem. They might feel like it’s a character flaw or failure, which can prevent them from seeking help. In my opinion, gambling is not an easy addiction to overcome.
1437  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Earthquakes in Turkey over 25000 persons loss their lives on: February 21, 2023, 04:59:42 PM
I think that the figure you provided was based on outdated information, and as a result, it greatly underestimated the true scale of the situation, unfortunately. Based on the latest sources from the Turkish disaster management agency, it is reported that the official death toll in Turkey has exceeded 42,000. This is a tragic and concerning situation, and I hope that the necessary aid and support can be provided to those affected by the recent disasters.

I assume by the transfer style, it is a main wallet of a user for storing and spending his coins; and is not a p2p trading address, neither an exchange address.

I can't be sure, but it seems to me that 0x7ca11ddf9659b433fe81beb3cf8240dd8f314842 is the Binance deposit address. All OUT transactions go to BUSD-T smart contract and Binance Hot Wallet.

Unbelivable, post your wallet I'll send you $150 for a coffer/beer/etc
Chips are the best, I'm noob. SOrry chips! Will learn how to sweep addresses and stop blaming others for my faults.

PiSLIFE, can you clarify what went wrong with your chips import? As I understand it, you imported keys into Electrum and found empty legacy addresses. Is that right? I'm curious to know why you didn't re-read the instructions and try again before assuming that ChipMixer was at fault and creating a forum profile to complain. Also, it might have been more productive to first try to resolve the issue with their support.

I hope you realize how fortunate you were that LoyceV was able to sweep the private keys so quickly and that he is likely one of the few honest individuals in this community.
1440  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammed by cur-ves.com on: February 20, 2023, 05:32:20 PM
Isn't this suspicious?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. From what you've told us, it seems like you've been scammed. The fact that the website is hard to find on Google and that they asked you to pay taxes upfront before letting you withdraw your funds are both warning signs. It's important to be cautious when it comes to online investment opportunities, especially when dealing with unfamiliar websites and individuals.

Can you tell us a little more about how you first became involved with this Chinese woman and the website? Did she reach out to you directly, or did you come across an advertisement or receive a recommendation from someone else that led you to the website?
