1461  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: April 08, 2016, 10:35:29 AM
I think the bitcoin will be used by a lot of users in 2022 but still not everyone will use it because of the other currency's that will still be alive.
I think the users of the bitcoin will be much higher globally and that the price also will be stable at that time.

This is what i think so too. Considering now that more and more big players coming into the game and starts acknowledging Bitcoin and tons of merchants accepting Bitcoin for transactions. By 2022, Bitcoin will be used widely around the globe.

I dont really cant tell if ll people will use bitcoin in 202, we cant say about that to many factors and change of faith of that coin. Because i think it wilm have many competitors by that time and many envy coin dev will make more move to get bitcoin died and lose value. Well let see if were alive by that time. Hehe

all attempts by certain groups/entities now and in the future to disrupt bitcoin will fail. bitcoin will stay the number 1 crypto currency as long as there is demand for it and we as community support bitcoin core. and the demand is here as bitcoin has been growing year on year, and will continue to grow. haters keep hating.
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $2016 by the end of 2016 on: April 08, 2016, 09:49:34 AM
I dont think so that it will can happen, you already will see now that the value is not even rising now so why are you thinking that the value will reach the 2016 in the end of the year ?
There are also a lot of people that is waiting for a price increase and that can be a long time.

anything higher than $1000 will definitely not happen this year. but don't get tricked into thinking the price won't go up just because the price has been quite stable lately. people here never seem to be satisfied. one day they say that they are tired of the volatility and look forward to a more stable price. and once the price became stable people start to complain about the market being boring and such. people simply don't know what they want anymore.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: April 08, 2016, 08:40:15 AM
bitcoin is much better than fiat so it is worth more to me at the same time.

bitcoin is an investment that can give me a good profit especially since bitcoin price is pretty low right now.
also bitcoin can be used as a currency which makes it that much better.
Bitcoin is pretty worth when compared with all others like PayPal. It is just an income, we can spend our expenses using bitcoin. It is digital money that we can spend everywhere like online shopping.
Bitcoin has a value and that is worth to use because you can do many things with it, you can buy some stuff with it or you also can trade with Bitcoin and than you can make some profit.
If you are now looking at the value, you see that the value is not high now and that is bad.

short term thinking i say the price isn't low at all. if you just look at the long term picture, then the current price can indeed be seen as low. that's why long term minded people should start with buying today before the price start to go up to higher levels. btw... why is it "bad" that the price at the moment isn't "high"?
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: April 08, 2016, 08:27:27 AM
the real price rise has not even started yet.
all these small rises are temporary because of small jumps due to accumulation phase and day-traders making a small profit from the little change.
the real price rise would be at least twice the current price ($700-$800) and can go even further.

at the moment the price might look like it is sitting at its highs because some people think the block halving is priced in already, but it's the complete opposite. my target for this year is somewhere around the $700 price level. i don't think it will go much higher than that as there will be a lot traders securing profits. that will put a lot pressure on the price and that will prevent the price from going much higher than $700 this year.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: April 08, 2016, 08:21:12 AM
I sold all my BTC again for the 2nd time.

the daily volume is pathetic

if we go into a sell off (not saying we will but if we do) there is going to be no market depth on the way down

what's the point of blaming the lack of daily volume? you can't expect the price to show high volumes every day while there is no news/happenings that might get some action back in the market. i consider this period to be 'calmth before the storm'. don't get tricked into thinking nothing will happen. we just need the chinese pumpers to ignite the fireworks to get massive amounts of volume and large price swings.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: April 08, 2016, 08:15:33 AM
If you have the money to buy Bitcoins you can buy now. But do not be greedy I suggest that you wait until the price drops a bit. This way it is way easier to make a profit out of it.

it's wise to never go all in when you are buying bitcoins or any other kind of investment. what i do is i buy with 50% of the money now, and the other part of the money will be used to buy once the price goes lower. if it does go lower, then i can buy even more coins at better price levels, and if the price goes up, then i benefit as well as my coins will increase in value. it's a win win for me.

Its always good to buy bitcoin in small parts, as it allows you  more opportunities to buy in future if price drops, and I think this is the best time to buy some bitcoins.

best times to buy bitcoin were when the price was below $300 in 2015. at that time you could make some decent short term profits. buying yourself some bitcoins right now is good for the very long term.
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $500 on: April 07, 2016, 02:52:39 PM
Bitcoin will soon reach the price of $500. The price increase is due to the halving as well the successful technology backing.

Indeed there is a big chance it will reach the 500 dollar, I even think it can reach it next month in a spike.
Of course its unpredictable but I think there is a chance for the next month, and indeed the halving will make this com true for sure.

Indeed, The bitcoin to 500 dollar is pretty realistic and I think it will get hit next month or maybe the month after that.
It will not take a long time because of the people that are investing now the price will also go up a little bit and this will stop at 500 dollar in my opinion.
you say isn't going to take a long time you not see the price of bitcoin in recent months doesn't move in the range of $ 400 ++

Price is around $420 at a moment and it will go higher in next few weeks and reaching $500 seems to be possible by the time of halving.
It will hit $500 soon. It won't be any long until then. For the people who want to sell this is a good thing. But if you want to buy you will have to wait much longer.

best option is to buy at todays prices as you will be able to benefit from the price that will go up. i think we will hit $500 some weeks before the block halving takes place. and if there is enough speculation around the halving time, then the price will surely go higher than $500. it only requires you to have a few months patience, and that's it. few months are nothing when it comes to investments. with stocks people wait a year to only get 5-10% as return.
1468  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: April 07, 2016, 02:18:31 PM
In 20 years from now, I expect bitcoin to be universally accepted so that we can use it a mode of payments for almost anything. Paying rent, buy gas, pay electricity bill, go to a coffee shop, a restaurant and get a hooker for yourself are just but a few things that i will like to be used with bitcoin

I doubt that it will survive that long as nothing is predictable when it comes to bitcoin, its better we focus on short term and act accordingly.

there is a certain demand for bitcoin as people get sick and tired of the governments and banks that are forcing themselves into the lives of people and gamble with people's money on the financial market. bitcoin gives them the chance to take full ownership over their own money. once the average joe start realizing this and stop believing all the nonsense coming from the media, then bitcoin will be huge. that's why i am long term minded when it comes to bitcoin.
1469  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: April 07, 2016, 02:08:50 PM
I believe the bitcoin will be even greater in the future.
I can almost see it rising and taking over many online markets.

Not yet. Bitcoin havent really reached its maximum potential. It will still grew more just like the price of gold. That is what I am expecting and I know bitcoin will not fail me.
bitcoin is still very young we just started from the beginning of the digital era, of course bitcoin will continue to become larger again, I don't think that the growth of bitcoin has reached its peak
I believe bitcoin could still higher and greater than today

In my opinion it will rise. In the future, it will get harder to mine a bitcoin and with that cause the effects could be there will be a little to buy so there will be a lot of demands. Lot of demands = Price hike.
bitcoin users is still very small perhaps only 2 million while the population of the earth more than 3 billion people. for bitcoin is not used by all people and users continues to grow. then the future of bitcoin is still very and the price will continue to rise. until it reaches a maximum when all people have adopted bitcoin

only 2 million? from where you get the impression that there are 2 million bitcoin users at the moment? i am not even sure whether we have 500-700k bitcoin users at the moment. there is literally no way to know how many users there really are.
1470  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: April 07, 2016, 02:02:56 PM
Buying bitcoin is also same as investing bitcoins, as it can be the best investment for the future if price skyrockets and that is the reason I am investing into it.

it might be the same in some aspects, but a lot people also buy bitcoin to spend it directly after receiving. in that aspect buying bitcoin is completely different than buying it to hold as an investment.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will I stay or Will I leave - Poll on: April 07, 2016, 12:53:42 PM
Core or classic,my love for bitcoin would remain the same.I am happy both ways as long as bitcoin serves the purpose it was originally created for.

I do not see much difference between Core and Classic. Both need hard fork to do 2MB block size increase. Hard fork has been applied many times before in the digital coins.

the difference is that classic is nothing more than an altcoin. and if classic for whatever reason takes over core (which will not happen) then it's a punch in the face of every one that loves the freedom aspect of bitcoin. it means that a certain group can force us to use something we don't want. it's basically like a dictatorship. that's why we have to protect the core client.

1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oops Price is 425$ Now... on: April 07, 2016, 12:06:26 PM
The price will be around $425 for a few weeks before it find the next direction. I think the price will go up soon.

True price might get hold around $425 for few more weeks. For a long time price is coming near to $425 but not getting hold on $425. At present most expecting the price might suddenly jump to $450.

If it jumps suddenly to $450 without good news, it will drop to $425 again. If there is good news, it will stay above there.

what news could you possibly think of that may push the price to $450 these days. good news doesn't have much impact on the price anymore. bad news however can still make people instantly panic sell. that's the weird thing. i think it's due to the fact that some people in their mind still think that the price may crash to very low levels.
1474  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 will be the bottom on: April 07, 2016, 12:02:29 PM
Yeah it is around this amount for a while now. I hope that it can go down a bit so that I and other people can buy some Bitcoins. If the price goes up not many poeple will be able to buy Bitcoins.

Yeah, $350 is the new bottom right now..Buy time at above $350 is over,.. The price is just circling around $400...So everyone should take advantage of the price now as we are expecting a more upward movement of the price...We should buy now if we can as we are only 2 months to halving...

The price is mainly above the $400 level. So the $400 number could be the bottom price in the near future.

we will only figure out whether the $400 price level is the bottom or not once there is a dump pushing the price very close to the $400 level. then we can say that the bottom for now is $400. otherwise the previous low of below $400 is still the real bottom.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 06, 2016, 11:58:03 AM
i'm holding half of my asset because i need to develop the other half , that is better than only waiting for price increase
Practically it is not possible to hold all your bitcoins for longer, many freelance users getting paid with bitcoin but they also do spend some portion of it for their daily needs. How much we save does not a concern, how long is only very much important thing.
Perfect. Really holding bitcoins for long-term is the important thing to get the maximum profits with the bitcoins. It is not possible for all the people to hold very big amounts. But possible with small amount which usually needs for long time, to get the maximum profits.

If you are into long term of holding purposes, better increase your coins for holding. It's not worth to hold small amounts then you will just hold it for a long time. Better use it to exchanges to increase their quantities everytime the price fluctuates.

and what if some people have no other option other than to hold a certain amount of coins? there are people that can't do trading to get profits in return. they don't have any skills that they can offer in the service section to the public. these people must keep holding their coins. also, what is being considered a low amount today, might be seen as a high amount after 5 or 10 years.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we stop the division in the Bitcoin community? on: April 06, 2016, 11:53:42 AM
the community can't return back to how it was before all this nonsense started. it has just started. prepare yourself for more splitting up of the community. i am quite sure that once every 3 to 6 months there will be a new alternative popping up claiming to be the change we all have been waiting for. the only way we can support core is by continuing to run the core client, and nothing else.
1477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: April 06, 2016, 11:48:26 AM
We can say that in 2020 we will have ood price seem like  around 1000 would be good one

Yeah bitcoin has a potential to reach that value by the year 2020 as many of us are predicting that we will see the value of $1k by the end of year 2016 and if it happens then we can expect much higher price by 2020.

the majority of the people here have way too high/unrealistic expectations of the price. how can we dream about $1000 while we still haven't managed to break through the $500 price level. i think it's fair to talk about the price reaching $1000 when we have touched the $800 price level, and not before that.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you waiting for Halving??? on: April 06, 2016, 10:52:34 AM
Yes I'm waiting for the halving because the fact is that the halving will be good if I follow the speculations on this forum of course.
The halving will most likely be bad for miners and very good for investors because of the price that will rise to a high amount.

I'm also waiting on the halving because the halving has a good chance that it will let the price rise to a higher amount this year.
I think its not only the halving we have to wait on honestly because the bitcoin itself is also growing this year and with the halving together there will be most likely be good profit.

bitcoin has been seeing its userbase grow year on year. it will grow this year as well, but i can't really see it having much impact on the price. we need more wealthy investors to join bitcoin. that's when you can really expect the price to grow significantly. some people also think that the more merchants accept bitcoin, the higher the price will be. this is not the case. merchants don't have any positive impact on the price. fresh money flowing into bitcoin is the only real thing that can make bitcoin grow further.
1479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Play (sell/rebuy) it or hold? on: April 06, 2016, 10:45:00 AM
for me the last months are just holding months. especially with the block halving coming closer and closer. you can choose to sell for small profits right now, or you can choose to wait and see the price go up more in the month juli. that's what i am waiting for.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 06, 2016, 10:40:16 AM
bitcoin prices are paramount owned bitcoin. because without the high prices probably nobody will use bitcoin again

True. True. So many that I have heard stopped due to the big fall from $1000 dollars to a very low price.

Just thinking about that. You would know that price matters.

people that indeed have been stopped with bitcoin due to the all time high peak got dumped down real hard, simply don't know how markets work. it was manipulation from the highest level. people at that time were driven by greed and bought at +$1000 levels hoping to double their money in a short time. it doesn't work like that. when a hot air peak has reached its high, then it will come down again. it's not that hard to understand this, am i right? you just need to think before acting. if you buy at a peak, you have to accept the consequences of seeing the value drop significantly. a price can't only keep going up.
