1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 22, 2023, 12:13:13 PM
It's the "name" of the company that's KYC'ed imo , not the team behind it. They register under a government and I reckon said government reviews documents that they passed and basically allows the casino to exist after checking whether there's some bad rep or not in the casino. They are scared, trust me, and that's why they do KYC. Otherwise they would've just let them fuck off and not do KYC since they for sure know that their users hate KYC themselves.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First thing i will do if Bitcoin become legal tender globally on: January 22, 2023, 07:32:08 AM
Nothing. I don't think it'd have that much of a big impact on what I'd do, I'm already using it in the first place anyway, and it doesn't exactly change anything in general when it comes to paying for products/services. Heck, I reckon it wouldn't even affect most people that much, even if they were owners of Bitcoin. Might be different for countries that don't allow it though, though tbf, they can't exactly stop you if you really wanted to buy/use it.

For me I will open my Bitcoin mining farm that will be public with a website and registered under the law for clients that will want third-party services that will align with global best practices of cryptography and digital asset management.
You should be able to do that even now though. There are some countries that don't allow it but they're in the minority afaik, all in all, you should still be able to.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 22, 2023, 05:21:21 AM
Nope, never. I was pretty into poker back then, even in my hs days I used to play with a group of friends and I've never even seen the combination come out even once. I used to hope it'd come out, there were some close instances at the very least, but it never really came. Heck, even a straight flush was a damn rare instance for me back then, maybe only a few times (can be counted in one hand) that it appeared, let alone a royal flush.

If it ever did appear on my games though, I wouldn't even be mad. That's just how insane it is to come out.
1464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Types Of Traders - My Personal Classification on: January 21, 2023, 03:17:47 PM
Me, who gave up tech analysis and just went DCA'ing Bitcoin. Am I part of the 2nd or the first one? or heck is my method even considered trading in the first place I wonder. Nonetheless, I reckon as long as a trader has "awareness" of what he's doing, I think that should be enough to say that he's a trader. Knowing that a market can go up and down, knowing what coins/assets are in, knowing what to invest and when to invest, simple stuff like that. I'd consider people who do technical analysis and chart readings and stuff like that to be more on the advanced level imo.
trading is like sports betting for them,
It's not "like" sports betting, it is one for them. Was actually this type a few years back, but hey, can't really blame anyone, knew nothing but still wanted to join in on the ride of Bitcoin back then.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: January 21, 2023, 02:17:10 PM
Wouldn't said obligation only benefit themselves in the end, and not really the economy of the country? In the end it looks like even if it was a success, it'd just be a temporary respite and wouldn't really deal with the core of the problem, whatever it may actually be. Plus, if this was known, there's a chance of people manipulating the market in a bid to temporarily profit off of something off of it, it's still an entire country investing after all.

And in the end, it also kills the idea of what an investment is. Forcing everyone is not the way, not to mention the possible risks involved.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 21, 2023, 11:42:28 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
Absolutely not. Especially if the token had its own economy. If it had additional options then I guess that'd be okay, but if not, then not really no.  then  And I don't think a "one-of-a-kind" game would ever come out of gambling, heck I reckon if it actually was one, it'd probably be better for them to release it as an individual game instead, heck maybe even a cheap, but still profitable game. There are a ton of ways to take advantage of it as well such as battle passes, cosmetics, and stuff like that. Either way, anything would be better than releasing it on a casino that is locked behind its own token.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 21, 2023, 09:39:47 AM
It will be too generous for casinos just to give bonuses to all its users including idle accounts. But, there's nothing to lose if you will do it, so not a bad idea at all. Some may offer deposit bonuses or wager bonuses depending on your account activity, so I wouldn't expect much if you will do this kind of trick in different casinos.
The thing is the definition of a bonus is actually quite one way for most people, they always think it's something guaranteed like money, but most casinos actually don't give out such bonuses. They instead give out free spins, free chances for x game, free tickets for y lottery, and stuff like that, and that significantly decreases the amount they have to give out since, well, they don't have to pay for any of those now do they. This'd probably only happen on big casinos though, since even if someone won it's something they can set to whatever they want prior the bet, but if they give out money, that's an insane amount for an insane number of users.
1468  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 21, 2023, 03:37:36 AM
Giving it to support should be fine. Anything else that happens outside of that, whether they take note of not shouldn't be your responsibility nor should you even mind it in the first place imo. Now if it was a bug bounty program then that's a different thing, but it isn't anyway.
I guess since these are casinos, losing a couple hundred to a few players every few days that would otherwise not have won anything maybe is just a drop in the bucket.  But I found it so strange that they immediately just alerted me that they have no bounty program.  Aren't casinos supposed to be pretty protective of their money even if they have a ton of it?  Huh

Anyone else have any experiences of trying to report issues like this?  I want to be rewarded for my time verifying the issue without taking advantage of it and alerting someone about it, too, so I'm also just worried about giving the info out and having them come up with some excuse like "oh it just needed a restart it's fine now, that's not a bug."
I reckon it's to clarify things? I mean it's better to sooner tell someone that they don't have bounties for it than let them do it for nothing, could be a drop in rep if known after all. As for bug bounties, Casinos would probably tell their users, or at least have an ANN sort in their local forums (if it has one) or public social media if they ever have one. And as I've said before, anything after than that, whether they fix it, or "think" that they fixed it, or leave it alone, it's not your problem anymore.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rejecting odd provider's limit on: January 20, 2023, 09:44:22 AM
Don't they limit users based on the amount they won instead? Though I don't doubt they have some limits that happened due to multi-accounting, even then, those'd be extreme cases where they somehow bypassed a rule that they had, basically doing a ban instead of a limit. I don't think emails are enough to bypass, maybe a VPN at least? Though if you get discovered that's a one-way ticket to being banned. They surely must have IP's stored, maybe they have another checklist for info first, then if everything gets a tick, they then start saving your IP to monitor you and possible multi accounts.
1470  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 20, 2023, 03:07:15 AM
Web-based/Desktop. It's much easier imo, I don't need to install any of that local bs that they want plus I can play it both in my phone/tablet and desktop freely (though I mostly use desktop tbf). I can play while doing some other stuff, I've never really been a fan of using my phone while using my desktop to do other stuff, I'd much rather do it all at once in my desktop if possible. Besides, web-based can easily be optimized for phone to make it feel natural and smooth as mobile apps, I don't think it's much of an issue plus there's not much specific stuff they need that phone apps can give compared to web-based ones.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 02:11:35 AM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.
So something like a first-time bonus, or is it just a returnee bonus instead? Naturally, I reckon said bonuses should be locked under certain conditions, like depositing x amount before being able to use y amount of spins for z games. It's good yea, but if you weren't originally a big gambler I don't think said bonuses would even be that attractive, after all, it's locked behind depositing money. It's the usual marketing stuff, heck even outside of casinos, just other mmo games would give out bonuses for returning players most of the time.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 19, 2023, 10:10:17 AM
Greetings, esteemed community. Could you help me advise? I've seen a lot of topics on the forum about crypto or bitcoin casinos, but I need clarification on their point. As I understand the crypto casino involves paying in different cryptocurrencies, and the bitcoin casino involves only bitcoins. How to choose a casino, is there a criterion for this, or do you just go to any casino and play? It's a rash move without preparation. Also interested in a payment system, which is recommended to play in such casinos? Or just a suitable crypto wallet? I apologize for my silly questions, but I want to understand everything once and for all.
Try to see the reviews for the site you're trying out, whether it be through review sites, forums, or any source really. Take more than one as a reference and then judge based on that. There are also casinos in this forum so if you're that lazy to do a search on others, then starting here may not be that bad.

As for the wallets, most crypto casinos have internal crypto wallets where you hold the funds you're going to use to gamble, so I don't think you'd need to worry over a "suitable" wallet.  Ofc prior to that you yourself should have a crypto wallet, but that's a different issue. As for payment methods, rare are casinos that accept Bitcoin only afaik, as there's a variety of options most of the time, pick the one that would be less hassle for you to handle and if possible, lesser fees as well.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Biggest U.S Lottery Jackpots Ever...(Until Now) on: January 19, 2023, 03:48:19 AM
1. Do you think its possible to win such an amount of money in online gambling/Sports betting ?
(my own opinion: I don't think its possible, as I've never seen.

2. Is there any online lottery casino available where it is possible to win such as enormous amount of money? Please share ..
No...? Don't most bets (whether casino or sports bets) have a limit on the amount of bet? There might be some special cases, but they're called "special" for a reason and isn't exactly a regular part of the system. Not sure though, never really bothered trying it myself after all.

As for the second, casino lotteries should have big prize pools but probably not as big as national lotteries. they're the only ones afaik that cater to such big amounts of prize pools in terms of lottery. But I reckon you'd probably have higher chances in the former since it has less participants than the latter.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real is the winnings? on: January 19, 2023, 01:41:46 AM
Those are p2e, nothing new, and especially not something to be posted here. Might be better to put it in the Altcoin discussion. I've dabbled in p2e early on, but rarely do nowadays since most of them are basically just a scam of sorts, or are worth nothing. In all honesty, I wouldn't call it "theft" since you're technically allowing them to allow your information yourself by fulfilling the details that they want. Nothing we can do about that. Now if it's legit or not, that's really up to how you research them since not all of them are fake. Some are real as they can be but as I said, they're worth next to nothing most of the time.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 18, 2023, 09:59:37 AM
Ehh can they not do the NFT part? The metaverse one is still up to debate since it's honestly confusing how they'd actually do it, but as for NFTs, I don't think they'd be able to release anything substantial that would actually last and be popular. They'd probably make more by partnering with big games like how Pizza Hut and KFC worked with Genshin Impact (though it was only on CN afaik?). It was a mess iirc, but it worked in terms of promotion/marketing imo.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 18, 2023, 04:32:32 AM
I ensure I drink enough water to reduce risk of heat stress :
I won't want to be under any compulsion or stress after a loss, so I make sure I drink water to stay hydrated, and it helps manage my mood even if I lost.
Out of everything, this was actually the most unexpected but also something I relate with, but I think this is more on the exhaustion side instead of heat itself? I tend to do dumb shit since my mental capacity at those points is pretty much empty so yea, taking a breather and drinking water to cool off is a great way to reset the brain even for a bit.

Still, the best way imo is hobbies. Do something else, don't just take gambling in as your sole activity for enjoyment. It's so that you can split your time and money (yes, even if it needs money). Some hobbies can go a long way with the budget you'd use for a month of gambling (though it still depends on person to person).
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My soccer betting experiment in almost a week. on: January 18, 2023, 01:58:44 AM
Still up to you really. It doesn't seem like you're forcing yourself to gamble in sports so I think it should be fine to continue, it can even come as a sort of breather since as you've said, you started hating on slots quite a bit. Now I have no idea why you chose sports though, I'd honestly have gone to other casino-type games instead if I were in your place, but to each their own.

If soccer starts to turn tedious maybe try out other types of sports if you still don't wanna go back to slots. It's honestly more fun imo even given the time it takes for each match to happen, watching the match itself is part of the fun after all.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone who wants to give advice on NFT's work, please come in. on: January 17, 2023, 12:47:13 PM
It has the feeling of the usual NFT people buy, question is, can you hype it big enough to sell it? Cause NFTs that have styles like these are mostly just hyped-up projects, without any marketing strategies I doubt you'd be able to sell much at all. I'd honestly spend a year or two developing a personal style instead and then creating an NFT project, maybe even accepting commissions (since no one really buys NFTs for how "good" the art is).

IF you're continuing on to the NFT path, I don't think you need to copy how most NFTs do the "Base NFT + some flavor" style, make your own unique ones. It doesn't matter if the quantity is small, quality over quantity at the start imo. Quantity will come sooner or later with you continuing to develop your skills.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 17, 2023, 04:52:43 AM
I'd just avoid them honestly. If you think there was any value in them then you should've invested in them beforehand, and it's honestly unrealistic to invest in an asset that already pumped, that's just a one-way ticket to losing your money imo. Especially if we consider how we all know these coins are already dead. it wouldn't be out of the picture that these pumps are just manipulated by some whale out there aiming for newbie investors. Even if it wasn't intentional, I'd avoid buying it early on and probably wait a few weeks to see what happens.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's your biggest gainer so far ? ( Last 7 days ) on: January 16, 2023, 10:12:15 AM
Bitcoin. I only had like BTC, ETH, as my main portfolio, the rest were leftovers from when I tried them out (like AXS, which grew, but since I had peanuts on it well, it wasn't really that much). I have a bit of my portfolio for TRX and MATIC as well, but they didn't really grow as big as Bitcoin so far. I might actually just let them go right now while I'm in the profit, pretty afraid of shorting so I don't think I'd really get any bigger gains than what BTC or ETH has to offer (the only ones I'm holding for the long term).
