Netherlands played an awesome match. USA wasn't able to give the competence and it gave Netherlands the way to qualify for the quarter finals. USA at the end made its goal, though it had highest ball possession than Netherlands.

On the other match, Argentina won the match as majority of the fans predicted. Australia too managed to make its goal at the last minute. The competence keeps increasing with time, and Netherlands vs Argentina in the quarter finals is really interesting.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 03, 2022, 04:59:40 AM
Some underage are already exposed in gambling even if it's not in casino. Even myself is exposed in gambling when I was young but I have control and also my parents that time always give me advice that if you don't control yourself in gambling while it is still early then you won't get addicted. As we know that once being addicted to gambling then it will be very hard to get out of it without help. Even somr gambling addicts that got help from someone they know like family takes time.
Not only with gambling, in all means the underage and young ones are exposed to various activities. The major reason I see is the technology advancement. It is quite early for them to understand and at this age this is how they'll do things. In the past to see a porn, it is quite risky and used to buy magazines. Now it is in the palm, with cent percent privacy. So, we can't blame the underage for which we need to teach them the good about technology and make them follow the path.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 01, 2022, 09:24:54 PM

Afghanistan had a good performance in this match even though they were not able to win. The problem was Afghanistan was not very good in the bowling lineup. Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi did well on the bowling side. But the others did not do very well. I think if Mujeeb did a little better they could have won the match. We all know that Mujeeb is a very important performer for Afghanistan. But in this match, he could not perform and that gave Sri Lanka a lot of breathing space. This was actually very unfortunate for Afghanistan. This was a really good chance for Afghanistan to win this series against Sri Lanka. They just failed to grab that opportunity.
I missed watching the match. Now going through the score it is really good performance from the Afghanistan batters to set such a target. Really unfortunate to loss the match. Sri Lanka that lost its 4th wicket at 164 further developed good partnership and that is were Afghanistan have missed the winning momentum. Anyhow this is really big for Afghanistan and the loss in my view is out of the lacking experience.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the eyes of Sam himself, he is so innocent on: December 01, 2022, 09:00:41 PM
Looking for the ways to reach the top position have made him do all these stuffs and caused the collapse of his empire. Over the years he slowly grew, and at some point what he have targeted seems to be beyond his limits. To reach the position he have chosen the wrong way and got to be the victim.

He thought of being the crypto billionaire of the year, but things didn't work as he calculated. His intentions weren't to defraud the users, but the failure of his plans made it to be a defraud.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 08:38:06 PM
Probably the most unpredictable day of all unpredictable days... Costa Rica beats Germany and Japan beat Spain... If you could speculate about Spain and Japan who would win, then Germany was not expected to play such an embarrassing game... Once again they can't make it to the 1/8, losing to the clear underdogs... What a sensation...
They seem to have managed to level the score, but they are still last in the group...
Somehow Germany have made a comeback leveling the 2-2. We don't know what's gonna happen at the last minutes. Spain could've never thought Japan in such a way. Big teams of the tournament are struggling hard, and taking position as game changers. As stated the underdogs are making the win throughout the day starting from the Belgium vs Croatia, Canada vs Morocco, now these two matches.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil Has Approved Bill Recognizing Bitcoin As a Payment Method. on: December 01, 2022, 08:24:07 PM
From a country like Brazil, it is a big move forward. From the beginning days Brazil have got good number of stores that accept bitcoin as payment. Particularly coffee shop in Brazil seems to be the first store to accept bitcoin. People who have been using with some fear could now use it freely as the government have supported it through the bill.

Brazil's decision will be surely watched by more world countries and the same could lead more countries legalizing the usage of bitcoin through law. Small such actions taken by countries will make it a big change in the cryptospace.
1507  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dangerous life of crypto-billionaires on: December 01, 2022, 06:20:37 PM
Death happens to all, whether one is rich, poor or crypto billionaire everyone is supposed to die one day. No one can escape death out of his/her strength or with his/her wealth. What had happened naturally being connected with some controversy so to make the article reach all levels of people.

Everyone's life is in danger, just because one is a crypto billionaire and if someone have targeted him/her and ended the life then it is fearful for the Cryptocurrency authority to make things better to overcome the prevailing situation.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 08:58:54 PM

Unlucky day for Messi somehow he missed the big opportunity I can't imagine how the fans will boo Messi if Argentina don't qualify
If Argentina can consistently attack like in the first half then there is a possibility that Argentina will win and qualify.

Even with the plenty miss, it looks like that Argentina will be going to the round of 16 as they are now 2-0 in the match against Poland.
However, in the other match, Mexico has also scored 2-0 but still, if this score line remains the same, Poland will be proceeding in the tournament.
Mexico has to score one more goal against Saudia Arabia and also hopes, Poland does not score any goal in the other match. The too complex situation as far as the qualification from this group is concerned.
Fierce competition did occur in Group C. But now Mexico continues to pound Saudi Arabia's defense. so it is very possible for mexico to add 1 more goal to ensure their victory. And now the most likely to qualify is just Argentina from this group C. and the most likely not to qualify is Saudi Arabia. while Mexico and Poland the chances are almost even. but what's interesting about these 2 matches is that both matches scored 2 goals at the start of the second half.
I thought Poland will make atleast a goal, but it wasn't able to make it. Poland sits at the second position and changes can be experienced on the coming matches. Argentina have secured it place to Round of 16. In every match Messi have his contribution. Being in the field through the entire match have let him shoot towards the target more than ten times. Same as this Mexico have recorded its comfortable win allowing Saudi Arabia a last minute goal.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's freedom is Absolute! on: November 30, 2022, 08:41:44 PM
Good way explained about the meaning for freedom connecting with all the ways people miss out freedom using cryptocurrencies. Even now people are with a state of mind, using centralized services is good for some reasons. Particularly getting help, if something wrong have happened with our transaction. Some were not in a situation to understand that having the key gives us the complete control over the wallet. This will change and to experience the change it takes time and even now we're at the earliest days of cryptocurrency usage around the world.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were the government, how would you fight against bitcoin? on: November 28, 2022, 11:57:16 PM
I don't think there is a government that can stop bitcoin 100%, isn't it better for the country to take care of things that are more important than bitcoin itself if one country has economic and security problems,
I think it's a waste of time if one government only focuses on fighting the existence of bitcoin

because Bitcoin cannot be fought and stopped, more and more people are adopting it every day
Yeah, not country or a government is able to stop it. I'll try to follow the footsteps of Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador. Surely it'll bring success to the country's economy in the long term. Also when we allow the people to benefit out of it, surely they'll pay the proper amount to the government. It is for the revenue the countries find possible ways to keep the users under control.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 28, 2022, 11:49:39 PM
Without elon saying bitcoin rise I'm also sure that bitcoin will rise again, since I got to know bitcoin a few years ago it often experiences drop conditions like now, and when the market rises everything is fun, always optimistic about market conditions because I'm sure in 2023 the price can pass ATH in 2021.
Anyone can say that it is that he's Elon Musk and his words are taken seriously by many. But no matter what he says, at the end of the day bitcoin will eventually rise.
It's deflationary and set to have high demand just look at where it was last year and that has shown that the potential is limitless and the price could go as high as it can.
No matter what the challenges are, bitcoin has been there and in the toughest situation like many didn't believed on it before but in the end, it's still bitcoin shown how great the potential that it has got.
There is difference between a common man saying bitcoin will increase in price and Elon Musk saying the same. Elon Musk being the richest his words have got power to drive the market to some level.

As mentioned the innovation is designed in a good way working on the demand supply mechanism. This is an important thing with bitcoin's backing technology. By the time people should also have the better understanding about the technology than just relying it as a quick rich scheme.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 28, 2022, 11:33:09 PM

I also believe that paper money will be phased out in the future but it won't happen anytime soon. As you say today our aging population still makes up a significant portion and access to technology faces certain obstacles so the elimination of paper money in this century is highly unlikely. But just look at the development of the world today, it happens because we are moving towards a digital world. And I am concerned that without paper money, our privacy will also completely disappear with paper money.
I don't know on what belief you people say paper money will be phased out with the technology. With time we can see advancement in technology, but the same won't disturb the traditional system followed. If this happens, surely this could have its impact felt over cryptocurrencies. This is how I've understood about the innovation and the traditional system. Forever the usage of fiat will exist.
1513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't a religion. on: November 28, 2022, 11:30:04 PM

Do you really see Bitcoin as a religion?

I've never considered bitcoin as a religion, but as an investment, and I'm also not sure anyone considers bitcoin as a religion,
but if you say Bitcoin is the possibility of making money with a little effort, 50% I agree because for people who have large amounts of money they will easy invest in this bitcoin, but for those who have limited money it takes process and effort to have 1 btc in the wallet they
What is there to connect bitcoin to religion. Some people who are much into religious belief, had a dilemma whether to use bitcoin or not. Further they connected it with religion and looked to find a solution for the same. Further this is made into discussion and people had different views of connecting it to religion. There is nothing to do with religion, it is an innovation that have helped remove the intermediary.
1514  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: November 28, 2022, 10:19:46 PM
This is what I have known about people regarding business, they all prefer to be self-employed, they all wish to have their own successful business, but many do not have the capital to start. If they have gotten the capital they need by being an employee, they will start their own business, but not everyone has that capability.
Well, everyone wants to run their own business knowing the profits are limitless and more secured, but not everyone is capable to make it work not only in terms of capital but also in dealing with strategies and techniques to make the business surely grows. The reason why most of the people chose to stay being employed as it’s risk free and there are fixed profits at the end of the month regardless if you work hard or not.
This is wrong. In the past the competence is low. Now in each and every business the competence level is quite high. Having a business had turned to be simple, but making revenue is not a simple thing anymore. We need to do something unique to be the leader against the competence. So, based on the efforts will be the profit out of the business. It is not true, whether you hard work or not you'll end up with profit always.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Will Increase 50% above Its current level in the coming Year on: November 28, 2022, 10:14:59 PM
The adoption of bitcoin keeps increasing with time. This is out of the interest people have over it. People try to understand it well. Huge number of people find it as an investment and not as an alternate to the traditional fiat. Based on that, there is less chances of bitcoin getting used as regular transaction asset for the reason more software developers work from their homes.

Adoption rate increasing at 50% won't happen. Such thing could happen associated with some special events. The next special event is supposed to be on the year 2024. Maybe by then such a massive adoption could happen.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin To My Friends| You're invited too (Online class) part 2 on: November 28, 2022, 10:05:53 PM
Really appreciable, because people find it hard to participate into discussion. You've made things clear and requested for two hours of discussion. Everyday two hours of discussion about bitcoin and surrounding incidents will give clear picture about the market. Through the participants it will widespread. Good initiative which could turn OP a good trainer on cryptocurrency.

Everyone won't be spend two hours regularly in teaching others. As an user mentioned, in between checking the progress of the participants could help you understand how well you've taught and what changes need to be done to make it more effective.
1517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: November 27, 2022, 11:28:29 PM
With cryptocurrency, the common investors have a strategy to invest when the market is on its rise. They never invest when the price have reached the bottom. Initially we need to have trust over the market and learn to invest at the right time. Doing so will never let us think about the recovery, because our mind always thinks of investing further.

Till date the market is moving on a four year cycle. This time too, we can expect something similar to that. Close to the halving days we'll experience the bullish movement.
1518  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: November 27, 2022, 10:43:08 PM
If this is being asked with a person on the street without shelter will explain about the importance of having a house. Agreed, it is a forced saving but in some means it is a lifetime requirment.

House never brings money than allowing us to spend. So, we need to plan and build it in way to reduce the spending and get the utmost space and basic facilities. Building house for status and for show-off should be avoided.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine the condition of people today if they had invested on Bitcoin in 2015 on: November 27, 2022, 10:37:44 PM
I think about a great opportunity people had miss when Bitcoin was still in a lower price, imagine how many people Bitcoin  would have made a millionaire, though by then most people were a bit skeptical about the growth of Bitcoin, if it has a good potential or save to invest.
People miss opportunities all the time, all of us on this forum as well. It's to say years later "I should have bought that thing", but it's also pointless, there is nothing you can do about it. The people who should maybe feel a little bad about the missed opportunity are those who somehow knew about bitcoin but for reason decided it wasn't worth the risk. In that case probably the regret would be pretty big.
Opportunity missed is missed. Thinking it now doesn't make sense. Now the focus should be upon the current market and the thinking should be, how to make the best. The market is completely over the demand to supply mechanism. So, a huge buying over the year 2015 could've made it have a much higher demand. This demand could've made the market to the top instantly or should've experienced a downfall at the shortest.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 27, 2022, 09:27:06 PM
Germany just scored 1 goal and this is all they need to get an "easier" last game with Japan.

At this moment we have

Spain 4
Japan 3
Costa Rica 1
Germany 1

in the last turn we have Germany-Costa Rica, and if they beat them they will be in the final phase pretty easily.

The only ways they will be not qualified if they beat Costa Rica are:

Japan beats Spain and they can't score 5 goals to Costa Rica
Japan draw with Spain by 2-2 (or more) and Germany beat Costa Rica by only 1-0
Considering the points from each team, the possibility of qualifying for the next round is very slim. Everything can happen whether it's from Spain, Costa Rica, Japan and Germany have the same opportunity, they will all fight hard in the next match. But Costa Rica and Japan are like time bombs ready to explode at any time which could abort Spain's and Germany's moves at the World Cup 2022.
This time more teams that are expected to be on the top order is suffering and are at the bottom. This is happening out of the tremendous performance from the small teams. Some haven't come out of the losses that has happened in the first match. Germany's loss against Japan is a major one, and that keeps it down on the table.

In today's match it played well, but it wasn't able to make a progressive move as Spain is at its t fullest. It was a big struggle for Germany as Spain took its goal at the 62nd minute of the match.
