no each of his cog2 sahres, which he bought 12 of were converted into 20 cog shares.

Exactly. Liquidating cog gives garr perfect chance to buy cogs hw back from shareholders.
|
|
|
So now you cant afford to pay electricity for hosting 8TH but you can afford to fund an asic production line?
Seems legit.
See the point is Garr's dividends can no longer afford to cover cognitive's hosting price, had cognitive's hardware been online the whole time, then it might be a different story. Garr's personal funds can afford to do what ever the f*ck he chooses. More miss management affecting share holders. Dissolving Cog now will most likely result in a buy back from the management on pennies to the dollar. when is 7 day countdown up? Surely we are in the last 20hours now?

"Shareholders:
It is now necessary for Cognitive to pay for hosting fees directly, as opposed to me using my personal dividends to do this.
Vote "YES" for the reserve fund to cover hosting expenses from the time my personal dividends were insufficient forward. Vote "NO" to liquidate all Cognitive mining assets and disperse via a large dividend.
Best, Garrett" How about NO and you uphold the original agreement you started with your share holders and pay for the hosting as it is part of the contract you made and agreed to, if your share is your failing mining company does not provide enough revenue per month to maintain the hosting of cognitive's hardware then raising a motion to breach or end contract is not an acceptable resolution. Your miss management has caused this, now deal with it without raping your shareholders more. PS where is my vote in that list?

I did PM you last night. Hello Sir,
Sorry I only ever got the one batch on the U1 usb and i did not keep any. You would need to contact the manufacturer to request an RMA.

Satoshi was hal finney.
I've always had Hal pinned close to the creation. I do remember him actually saying he thought Satoshi was of Japanese background, something to do with him having spent much time with Japanese and there were signs that pointed Hal toward Satoshi actually being Japanese. I always found that as strange as most people thought the opposite.

must delivered q1/q2
when q1 end? and when q2 end?
Honestly you order hardware and don't even understand the delivery deadline?

1 Pre-investment 2 Clear profit model and short return period . 3 hard work of 8 people team from end of 2013. 4 1P hashrate chips of ASICMINER preOrder for the first batch to start up. 5 others.
Thanks for your concern. We are looking for partner oversea and some have already contacted.
So reading over this. does number 4 mean that the private shareholders actual purchased the preorder of the 1petahash worth of AM gen 3 ships? Is so nice input! Does this mean that the public funding was more sought to secure future batches of chips while waiting for return from the first? Some clarity on these would be great.

IPOs do get oversubscribed at times...
But that is not what is going on. They are selling their own shares, this money will not go into the company but the owners pockets. They broke their own rules and are dilution the number of tradeable shares while cashing in on shares they paid nothing for. This community is lulz. where does it say that they are keeping the profit from the additional shares being offered to the public?
|
|
|
none of them, that is the team rock xie put together if i remember correctly.
|
|
|
I would be pissed off if 2 weeks down the line they released 3750 of their shares for public offering, but they are doing this to expand the IPO slightly and they are doing it at the IPO prices, they are not dumping on a high(unless this is the high)

if anyone can comment on how good ~$270/kWh/month is, that's what we've got.
That's pretty bad actually. $270/month/kwh = $0.375/kwh Compare that to other industrial scale mining operations which will get around $0.01-0.05/kwh This cannot be right. I Live in the Netherlands, which is bloody expensive and i pay around $0.33/kwh. paying $0.045 more than i do is not cheap power.

they are not trying to compete against Asicminer in anyway, they are working alongside them.

thanks for the details, watching.

Follow-up: Having attempted to sign up for cex.io, I found it is closed to me, as I do not have a mobile phone. Just a landline. So, scratch another site off the list. Funny, I sensed it wasn't for me, and now I know. Thanks anyhow. Have you tried to follow the sign-up at cex.io but omit entering a phone number? You may be surprised! Do not click this person referal link and joins cex.io Unless you have an interest in day trading or high frequency trading cex is no place to make more btc than you put in.

These are the most advanced chips and boards revealed to the mining industry, being sold here first! At 3000$ for 700-800gh the above statment is not true. This gets better every day. So even though hashfast are due much hardware to forum members, you expect to team up with them and have your own production line..... when will all the hash fast customers get thier orders?

i suggested emails as logins for future, this would reduce mass attacks like this.
at the moment usernames are just harvested from say the chat box, if login was email based we could block the attackers straight away ourselves by changing account email

asicminer gen3 is specified to be 500w per 1TH and hopefully around $2500. Soon....
