1521  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: August 14, 2022, 09:24:03 AM
The cynicism of your reasoning here just rolls over. Are you saying that the war in Ukraine would have ended long ago if the United States had not provided military and other assistance to Ukraine? Yes, Ukraine in this case, perhaps, would have been captured by Russia and destroyed as a state, and Ukrainians as a nation. At the same time, the leadership of Ukraine would have been shot or tortured along with a significant part of the civilian population, as the Russians did in the suburbs of Kyiv, when they believed that the war would soon end in victory for them. After the liberation of this territory, more than one and a half thousand civilian corpses, including women and children, were found in the Kyiv region alone, with signs of torture and violent death. Are you talking about such a desired result on this forum?
The people who are in full support of Russia and Putin will always come out and say "Ukraine war wouldn't happen if USA and EU didn't cause it" because in their mind it means "Ukraine would have been in under Russian control" and nothing more. They are basically saying that Ukraine should have been left powerless to start a war or defend one.

We all know that the first action was taken by Russia, Ukraine did nothing but just responded them and that’s it, there is nothing that Ukraine started, if Russia leaves all Ukrainian lands tomorrow, Ukraine won't attack them. Hence, it shows that Russia only wants west to get out in order to take whole of Ukraine and nothing more.
1522  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|$10 000 Daily Battles|🚀BFG Mining Extension voting on: August 13, 2022, 05:58:30 PM
Getting a lot of customers to use the casino will be the most complicated and difficult part every day because of the high competition that this online casino market is facing every day, every day new casinos are appearing and in my opinion this market is becoming saturated, and another thing is that BFG is not listed on many exchanges which means that it is not yet known what the real price will be, when an altcoin is listed on many exchanges we can see its real price
We've seen many casinos got fail because sell both together, something must be sacrificed between them. but, as I know, several casinos do it together with success, like giving free the token for purposes try the casino, but of course, they will make dump a price but besides that, the casino will be crowded. If can't do that, choose one.
I would say that as a casino you should have some fiat currency or stablecoins at least in your hands anyway. If you don't, then there needs to be a situation where you need to fix that asap. I personally believe that the best thing to do here would be making sure that we do not end up with a bad result, it is not the greatest thing ever to have no stablecoins, but if casino has it then that's a great way to distribute.

What can be done is free bets, do that with good amount of money to a lot of people and they are going to come in here and gamble, if they do that then we are going to end up with a big profit as well. That's the key to success for a casino, pay them with real money, not a token you just created.
1523  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: August 13, 2022, 12:19:39 PM
What's up with the user name discussion on this thread lately, as far as I know we are in the crypto space and at that privacy is of utmost importance for most users here and that is why we have our user name instead of our full name, but in some instances, if one has nothing to hide. It is not a big deal to fill in your full name in an online forum but that is where it is requested. Blackjack fun is a gambling platform that requires only a user name.
That’s mainly because it wasn't known who he was and there were a few people claiming that it’s this person or that person and that became the discussion. It’s not important who is who, but when there is someone that come out and say that "I am satoshi" you would ask for a proof right? That’s the logic, I do not care whosatoshi is, and I will not work towards trying to figure out who he is neither.

But, if someone come out and say that they are satoshi, then I will ask if they are serious or not. That is the type of thing that I care about a lot, and that is how I will approach what I am doing as well, it would be a lot better solution for sure.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your bag when you can on: August 13, 2022, 11:25:49 AM
I learned a lot during 2018 and 2019 when bitcoin dropped prices heavily. I gave up and sold most of my bitcoins even if my bitcoin old-timer friends kept telling me to HODL. I think some of them owned bitcoins as early as 2011 and they already experienced huge swings throughout the years and always told me and my friends that they'd seen worse. I think it was the year 2017 the same year when I started purchasing some bitcoin portions, one of our mentors an ex-NEM foundation officer mentioned that if someone cannot hold bitcoin at its worse price it does not deserve to enjoy bitcoin's highest prices. I ignored all of them and sold most of my holding although I did retain a little.

So now I realized that experience is really the best way to learn. It's very different when you are in the situation. I learned the hard way. Now I will never sell my bitcoins unless it is super necessay.
That is something I have done as well but I also never regretted even though I learned. How? I know for a fact that bitcoin will always end up lower even if it peaks higher, that means I will have chances to buy again. I sold back in the day at peak prices and not this time but last time in 2017 I did pretty well, using that money I found better ways to increase my income so I could buy more bitcoin per month thanks to that.

So, if you sell but you found a way to get more bitcoins thanks to that, it is not bad. Aside from that, holding when it goes down is a crucial thing because bitcoin will always recover and we shouldn't be mad about it.
1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: August 12, 2022, 06:28:32 PM
We couldn't confirm about the btc bottom rather than we can expect that btc no more further downward movement. As you can see when btc Down alts coins become too much down as well as btc. Both btc and eth are strong fundamental coins and even I cannot suggest you to invest all money in this . Now I feels like btc no more huge further hard dump .  That is very worse condition if do possible. Now alts will definitely pump when btc up
Yeah, it's a good sign since BTC is not moving any downward rather than we go up at a slow pace. But we can expect to have a big move this year since many things that affect to crypto market, also we can keep buying the dip so we do not miss any opportunity that we can get. Don't forget to avoid any FOMO out there to prevent any losses that you didn't want.
I agree that bitcoin is not going any lower, it's obvious that it's going to get a lot better and that's going to be amazing for all of us. I am not saying that bitcoin "can't" go down, but that doesn't mean that it will not have a good result as the biggest possibility.

Buy some, or hold yours, and wait for it to go up because we are on the verge of going up now. That's going to be quite good for all of us and I believe that we should be happy that we are finally reversing the drop right now. That is why I believe that we should be focusing a bit more towards how we could gain from a bull market, instead of keep on fearing the price going down again and again.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 : 20,000$ - Bitcoin 2022 : 20,000$ on: August 11, 2022, 09:19:05 PM
Until now it can still be said that the trend every 4 years is repeated, the price of dropping more than 60% since ATH and in 2018 also drop the price of more than 60%, namely 7 months since ATH in December, but if we focus on profit then the best thing is Be patient and don't panic.
correct it's all about the profits that we can get not the situation itself aftee making ATH. infact we must be thankful that now we have another chance to buy low and soon surely we can make a good return.. Just take advantage the situation instead of complaining why this always happen after all, because indeed we such scenario we cannot make profits again and again since from the beginning.
That chance will go away soon if we do not react quicker. I mean it's obvious that people will approach this thing like it's one of the most important parts of bitcoin world but the reality is that ATH is not the important part, it's the least important part because we all believe that it will happen again.

What we should care about is the part where we know that it will go down as well and if we catch up and buy some more there then we could profit the most. People who are afraid of the situation then it's going to be a trouble and that's why I do not think that we shouldn't really consider it as a trouble and we should see it as a beneficial thing to us.
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 44 countries will meet in El Salvador to discuss Bitcoin on: August 11, 2022, 05:58:23 AM
in fact the actions of el salvador in legalizing bitcoin as a legal tender has opened the eyes of the world. has encouraged more people to dive into bitcoin and study it more deeply. The spark that el salvador has made actually has a wider positive impact on people who initially looked down on bitcoin. I say this because I am one of the people who know bitcoin since reading the news that went viral on social media about el salvador. and made me curious about bitcoin and a friend taught me a lesson about bitcoin. even some countries are starting to look secretly in studying more deeply about bitcoin. so there is no word fail for el salvador's action on the legality that he has applied to bitcoin as a legal tender in his country. because there is no real data showing the failure of El Salvador's actions to date. there are only excuses made up by anti bitcoins who always attribute el salvador's internal economic problems to bitcoin. although it has absolutely no clear connection.
I agree that even though there are people who dislike him for what he did, even in his own nation, he did something that is definitely improving the lives of his own people and he is investing the money he gets from taxes and that means it is going to be something that would benefit the whole world because more people will realize why something like that would be a great idea and that is a good thing.

I personally do enjoy it whenever there is a case to be made about "why should I go into bitcoin" and the more correct answers you have, the better it will be for everyone and that should be very good and very useful for when we have those type of discussions with people.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to spot a x100, x1000 or x10000 coin ? Isn’t this the million $ question ? on: August 10, 2022, 07:45:29 PM
The Staking contract will allow YOP token holders to lock up their YOP for variable periods and earn YOP tokens as a reward. And this is only a small part of the possibilities of the YOP ecosystem.
Talking the fact about YOP if this coin didn't have demand at all. You are also the one who have been shilling for this shit. It's better if you are watching daily volume compared with the price. It's clear that if this protocol has very low value at this moment.
Enabling staking will not change the fact that if people are seeing it as a garbage token. Bunch of garbage tokens were using staking to attract more users but people very smart these days. They can't be tricked with cheaper trick like that.
There are always people shilling for shitcoins here. You shouldn't see them as bad people because they are not doing it for a bad reason, they see everyone doing it and they do that in order to give their shitcoin a living chance. If they didn't do this, and all other shitcoins did it, then how could they survive?

They barely get any attention from investors as it is, because they are shitcoins, and people ignore them as much as possible, and if they do not spread their shitcoin to bitcointalk as well, how could they get any chance at all? This is why I understand them, not a good thing they do, but I wouldn't say they are bad people neither, not until they turn out to be bad at least.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 10, 2022, 05:53:52 PM
The market will always be fluctuating and many things we can do for profit, and I think the easiest thing for profit is daily trading, especially if we dare to trade in new listed coins so that opportunities for big profits are easier to achieve.
Daily trading is definitely not an easy way to make money. It takes time and patience to learn how to do that, sure if you are a big veteran eventually you will be able to make a good profit out of it, but that doesn't change the fact that we wouldn't be a veteran trader right away, it will take years of being great and even making a big loss time to time in order to learn from our mistakes and become better.

This is why nobody should be aiming at trading daily as an "easy" way. Easiest way to make a profit would be making sure that you end up with a long term investment, buy and hold it for many years and you will have to do nothing at all to make a profit.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 09, 2022, 07:42:34 PM
Atletico Madrid can still enliven the competition for the La Liga title even though Atletico Madrid did not add really quality players and Simeone did not change tactics.
But I still believe that Simeone will provide the best tactics for Atletico Madrid next season in order to compete with the two big teams (Barcelona and Real Madrid) for the title in La Liga.
Atlético Madrid seem to be lagging behind in this race. If they want to be champions, they have to strengthen the squad with very good transfers. The strong squad of Barcelona and Real Madrid can be defeated not only tactically, but also the strong players you will have. Simeone may be a good manager, but football is played by 11 players on the field.
I do not think that they are really looking for a championship at all. I feel like there is a good chance they just want to be at the UCL levels (top 4) and that is good enough for them. Maybe that doesn't sound realistic to you, but I do believe that it would be the case for them this year.

When Real Madrid is the latest UCL winner and when Barcelona spent the most money in Europe, you can't really build a team that will rival those teams, how could you. Plus they do not even have the call for it, like Lewandowski wanted to be in Barcelona, nobody really wants to be in ATM, they just end up there if they can't play in bigger clubs hence why it's harder.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: August 09, 2022, 06:08:03 AM
Buy buy and buy. However, I do not think I will be able to wait until bitcoin reaches $1000, because I am afraid I will not have sufficient funds at that point. If bitcoin drops to 10k or 5k, I will probably go all out with all I have to invest. For me last $17k is a pretty good price and I'm waiting for $15k I will be happy when bitcoin hits $15k this bear season. I never thought bitcoin had a chance to get back to $1000 again.
This is the same reason why it will not reach there as well. People think that it will reach that price but in reality we all know that it will not reach there at all. I think it would be quite easy to understand that it will be a hard pass on most of this because it is going to end up with a big deal and a trouble.

If we do this then price can't go down? Because, we all end up buying before it reaches there, you would, I would and believe me everyone would and that is why it won't. That literally happened, price reached under 18k for a quick while and it was such an amazing price to buy that we all stopped and started buying a lot and made it go back up again.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 08, 2022, 08:06:40 PM
Galatasaray may have beaten Antalyaspor in their first match yesterday, but it was a really lucky win. Antalyaspor missed a penalty, apart from this, they had one more clear position. If Muslera had not closed a good angle, Antalyaspor would have scored very early. Gomis, who was included in the game towards the end of the match, saved the team from an absolute draw with his goal, and at least Galatasaray started this season by scoring points.
There are a few players that didn't play the way everyone expected them to play like. Emre Akbaba, Berkan Kutlu and Sacha Boey. Boey was there because he is a super fast player but last night he wasn't fast at all. Defense always had holes in them which caused a lot of counter attacks, the penalty was made after a goalkeeper kick, think of how slow galatasaray defense was like, and that famous save happened because Boey missed his man and couldn't catch up.

Offensively, they could replace Akbaba, but defensively they needed the team to be faster and can't be replaced with anyone faster because there is no alternate right now which will cause problems in the future.
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: TOPIC: Pros and Cons of saving fiat versus saving Bitcoin in this current econom on: August 08, 2022, 05:19:20 PM
Given this current state of economy here in our country, I can say that it's not really a wise move to just save your money in banks. Specifically speaking, the traditional ones. Because the inflation rate in our country is getting higher and higher as time passes by. If someone will just rely on the banks for saving and its interest, they'll just be disappointed. Since inflation rate keeps increasing and not a bit decreasing, the interest is pretty much lower compared to the tax imposed.

This will left you a fund in your account that barely earned an interest. An interest that will not even gonna pay for one transportation fee. And mind you, that interest is already good for a year. You need to have millions in your account so that the interest would be felt and noticeable.
Banks are the main reason why crypto became a big thing. If banks did their job well enough then there wouldn't have been a need for something like this to begin with. Obviously, it is not going to be an easy ask, because bitcoin making more profit than what interest rates give you is not a given thing quickly, you need to be able to wait for it.

Think about all the people who bought above 60k+, those people are still waiting for something to happen, and would have preferred interest in a bank. But if they wait, I am sure that they will make more profit eventually but that will take some time and maybe even over a year now as well meaning they would have to wait nearly 2 years to get that higher profit.
1534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: August 08, 2022, 04:00:43 PM
The point you have mentioned - about investing money - and losing it instantly is very correct. MY friend lost approx 5000$ in a jiffy.
But that is with every business - you can either be a king or you can be looser, there is hardly any middle line in it.
The losing is a lesson for many people. Those who are willing to take the risk understand gradually that taking risks is not always profitable while less risky steps are possible.

The wrong step is investing in coins that have never been known to public and then putting in a lot of money in that. Don't expect such coins to go big, you will make a mistake.

While there are people earning a lot from such risks knowing where to stop is important too.
If you know where you are looking at then you would know why you lost. I remember when I first started learning about trading, I learned a way and I learned it so backwards that each time I picked a coin, that ended up going down directly, not up.

The market wasn't that bad neither, but turns out I was looking at the other way around, so what I should be looking at was exact opposite, and not what I looked at. This caused me to lose only tiny bit of money but I flipped it on the other side and made a good amount of money that way. This is of course not a guaranteed thing, hence why I do not believe that it should matter all that much, but you need to go back and learn like I did.
1535  Economy / Economics / Re: EU countries agree deal to cut use of gas this winter on: August 08, 2022, 09:14:49 AM
The numbers look good except for Germany. Germany's demand for gas is huge, and its gas storage facilities are just a buffer to smooth out the fluctuations in gas consumption in winter and summer. Even if Germany fills its storage facilities by 100% by November (which will be extremely difficult to do with 20% pressure in the Nord Stream), this will be enough for her for a month and a half of a moderately cold winter.
But that also means that they could have a good deal made from other places in order to cover the differences for the next few months. If not, they will have a terrible winter where they are very cold, and they limit the usage, make sure that everyone gets "enough" and not a lot, and people will definitely be cold a bit there is no denying that, but until the winter after that, there are like 1.5 years left and that is how they could arrange something much better by that time.

Russia trying to strong-arm all the competition will not be helpful for them, maybe they managed to bring money in from all the sanctioned Russians, but that will not be a good long term solution.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 08, 2022, 05:55:25 AM
I am mostly a hodler no matter the market going down or up. But sometimes I get the advice to take some profits.

Example: my investment of 300 euro becomes 500 euro. Is it better to take out my initial investment or only take the profit ? And reinvest that profit ?

How do you guys do this ?

I just feel like i'm missing potential profits by not selling and seeing my potential profits go up and down.
I am mostly a HODLer like you so I don't worry about the profits along the way until I am sure that the market is around another ATH and I will take all the profits in there meaning I must have taken my Initial Investment and some profits too, and don't forget you must have invested in the right profits for this else some projects might not survive the long HODL.
This is exactly how I approach it as well. I mean it's clear to me that we are talking about "long" term in a real sense, meaning even double or triple of what I invested is not enough.

My peak was around 9x profit, and I still didn't take most of it out, took maybe like 20% or so out to pay off debts because it allowed me to invest more, and I invested more dollars right now thanks to this, and bought cheaper as well so I basically have more bitcoins thanks to that move, because if I sold, I would have a lot of money that's true, and would have bought back now, but no guarantee about that, but paying off debt means same amount could go into bitcoin instead.
1537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures Trading is not for everyone on: August 07, 2022, 06:05:47 PM
Some people think that its easy to do buy and sell since this is what other experience people portray about how they can earn huge money on their trades. But reality hit them hard because for sure they find trading is a hard path to take especially when market is on bear market condition which other people sentiments can contribute for peoples reaction to get panic and take wrong decisions.
The difference is that there are a thousand people that lost money or earned very little compared to just that one guy who earned a ton of money from a lucky trade, but at the end of the day when you open your social media accounts you will see that one guy that made a ton of profit and not the other thousand ones.

This is the problem, people do not realize that it is not going to be an easy task and they need to end up finding something that is a bit more relaxing in order to get used to, not a major one. If you aim at making 10x as your first investment then you are going to end up losing a lot of money but if you end up looking for 10% then you will do fine.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Whales Store Their BTC on: August 07, 2022, 03:00:55 PM
There are many other topics about this to say how the whales are saving their bitcoins since none can make sure about the owner of each wallet address unless they leak something, you cannot make sure about the owner, because the whales are usually saving their bitcoin in multiple wallet addresses that's how they cannot be tracked by other people because instead of one big fat wallet they will have multiple normal wallets to stay away from getting tracked, also since they have many bitcoins and they bitcoins worth a lot they will spend some money to buy a cold hardware wallets because the free whales are mostly unreliable for them.
I mean you may not know the owner of it, but you could definitely know how it would be done by looking at the big numbers and see address' with huge bitcoins in them and how they are storing it. I personally faced with many people who had 5k btc or more, that was my job for a while (worked at local ledger affiliate in my nation) and I can tell you that I have seen people that printed it on paper to people who did much more work.

So, there isn't a single answer to this, there are methods from as basic as keep it on exchange (look at how much liquidity in exchanges, meaning people put their money there too), to complex stuff like having medallions made with the phrases and such.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: August 06, 2022, 09:05:58 PM
Yes, hearing that a driver who was to replace another on a team yet they had a deal already with yet another is quite the mess up in the F1.
Because I can't see Ricciardo racing with any passion for the team for the rest of the season and probably just end up coasting for the remainder.

It does not have either team look good any way you look at it.
Not like he was winning a bunch of races for them before this neither, he was terrible before this news and this is basically the main reason why he is getting fired basically, he didn't delivered any good results for the past 2 years and he didn't provided anything that was expected of him.

I am not shocked about him getting fired but I think it could be a better deal for the team for the rest of the season. Why? He would want other teams to see him as a good racer, and for that to happen he needs to get good results, if he gets good results then he could find himself a team, and if he doesn't get any good results and races like this, best he could do would be like Aston martin or maybe haas if Mick goes somewhere else.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 44 countries will meet in El Salvador to discuss Bitcoin on: August 06, 2022, 10:55:00 AM

It won't be a surprise if one or two of the countries of this list end up having Bitcoin as a legal tender in the near future.
Yes definitely after the meeting we will some smaller countries accepting Bitcoins officially as a tender.
This is a great revolutionary movement, and we should praise El Salvador for this.
Earlier El Salvador took the advantage of bear market and bought hundreds of coins, now this time they will hold it until Bitcoins recover to their original price. This will surely motivate other economical backward countries to invest in Bitcoins and digital currency.
Let’s see what outcomes come from the meeting.
I do hope that El Salvador knows what they are doing, if they keep doing something that doesn't really mean much, then we are not going to end up seeing more nations that go with bitcoin in the long run. However, if we are going to end up seeing how the system works and El Salvador making money from it and promoting it, then we are going to see many other smaller nations that go into it with them.

So, what they are doing is very important, it will decide the direction of all other nations and it will take a while before we could actually do something about it. What I hope really is that the president stays another term, because new one could sell it right away.
