Are there any stats on how many new accounts have been created and how many people hove dumped their stakes?

I left NEM account on local harvesting all day since launch. Still haven't got any fee from harvesting. It hasn't harvest a single block! PoI 2.24 ‱ What could be the reason? Luck. I have 6.82 ‱ and have harvested 4 blocks so far today. It's just random though, because 3 out of the 4 came in the last hour. How many NEM did you get? My importance is 3.13% and i havnt harvested a single block yet. Did you turn on harvesting? It is still early, so just wait, I guess. Yes i did have it on. As it turns out i did harvest a block shortly after starting, but it didnt contain anything in that block. it was Block #2449

DRK/DASH is on a slippery slope back to under $4, meanwhile Monero is making, nice slow, steady gains and is almost back to $1

Interesting read about the delegated harvesting, Its good to know that it will keep harvesting even when my PC is off. Anyway, Is it correct that the fee is a one off fee for that account? If im correct, this means that i dont have to pay the fee every time i harvest?
Sounds like a brilliant system anyway.

OK, so the main benefit to me using delegated harvesting is extra security?
You can harvest on remote NIS without risk, yes. When it says remotley does that mean that i can harvest with my computer off because the remote server is doing it? correct Thats pretty cool, but i expect i earn less per block from fees?

Why have i had a transaction made of 6 XEM go out of my account? I never sent any funds anywhere, it says its an importance transaction, is this think sort of automatic to increase your importance?
You activated delegated harvesting and confirmed to pay a fee of 6 XEM. MAYBE you should read, what you confirm. I never confirmed to pay anything, i just clicked delegated harvesting and it told me it would take 6 hours, anyway what is the difference between delegated harvesting and local harvesting? maybe this helps answer the question? Found it on NEM's forums and you can disregard the multisig stuff unless its important to you. (replace "remote harvesting" and "secure harvesting" with "delegated harvesting") https://forum.ournem.com/technical-discussion/remote-harvesting-2876/msg12704/#msg12704Actually you could Initiating harvesting be it remote or local is NOT a transaction, it's simply passing private key to nis server. So rigel's right. edit: There are actually TWO differences. 1) In case of "secure harvesting" fees goes directly to associated account, if you'd like to use multisig account to do that, fees will go there (which is not that bad, as only cosignatory account has access there anyway). 2) In case of "secure harvesting", it's the MAIN account that holds the power and responds for PoI So basically to summary: harvesting works by passing (private) SECRET key, to the server since we wanted to allow harvesting on remote nodes, we've introduced "secure harvesting" (remote harvesting) secure harvesting works by issuing special transaction, that becomes part of the blockchain, in that transaction, there is information about "remote harvesting account", i.e. search for following transaction in nembex: 4c2a92c19a49914bda6239dcc94e81080fba7f7bdfffea0d42c88a70eefeec53, displayed "Remote PK" is a public key of harvester secure harvesting works by passing private key of that account to some node, this private key is useless anyway now, what rigel is suggesting is that, you could create multisig account, and use that account's private key, to do harvesting OK, so the main benefit to me using delegated harvesting is extra security?

Monero is more private than DRK, requires no masternodes and actually works! The DRK community had so many trolls spreading so much FUD on Monero and XC last year, but now things are coming back up again.

Am looking on bittrex, dont see NEM trading

So many of these coins mentioned here are total rubbish!
Most are either dead or dying projects, do your research and you wont need to take your advice from such threads!

Im sick of hearing about DRK/DASH i wont invest a single cent in it either. Its all just a big P&D and nothing more, totally instamined, very unfair distribution etc. Anyway they are spreading the word around that Monero has a Backdoor built into it which was planned by the NSA if you please! Where do they conjure up such conspiracy theories? ? From a shitty web site (that doesn't even exist any more) where you can pay some guy to write an article on any coin for 1 BTC. I wouldn't be surprised if some DRK supporter paid for it. No evidence for that, just 'follow the money' Yeah doesnt surprise me at all! The DRK community were trolling the Monero and XC threads heavily last year and did alot of damage, it will take alot of time for us to recover, but the price of Monero is fairly stable when you compare it to DRK/DASH

What are worth to invest altcoins now? Thanks.
NXT is your safest investment, the rest are just a whole bunch of Pump and Dumps, even LTC will be a thing of the past soon.
