This can only devalue the naira more instead of adding value to it which goes against all the plans the CNB had to make the Naira strong again. Finally, Chelsea was able to prove that they are still worthy to struggle. The victory against Leicester City with 3 - 1 goals brings Chelsea to get 3 points and at least can increase their position. Although if we see the current position, Chelsea is still in the 10th rank and this is still in a bad position. A big club like Chelsea must be included in Champions League qualification normally but normally. However, we know how their performance during this season, sometimes they are so disappointing, very bad performance so that they are unable to reach higher ranks so far.
We can still participate in the champions league next season. We have the same opportunity as every other club that has qualified to the quarter finals. We just have to be determined as we did in 2021 and lifted the trophy when everyone wrote us off. Looking at the squad now compared to then, we even have a more balanced squad filled with players that can single handedly win us games. Players like Enzo Fernandez with his magic passes could easily win us games but things haven't just been working in our favor. Players like Mudryk has yet to pickup form, he got an assist in the last game but he's capable of doing more than that. His goal was cancelled but I believe if he gets more playing time especially in the game against Everton, he will score. Graham Potter should understand that some players need to build on the momentum they had from the previous game and he should stop rotating the squad in every game. Mudryk has to continue his playing time so he can pick up to help in the attack, alot of goals is wasting from that winger. |

I did not expect Chelsea to win at all, not even remotely close. I always suspected that they were doing pretty bad, and they would continue to do bad and they would lose this one too, plus Dortmund was doing so great, and I expected them to keep doing better in the long run as well, which did not happen and I guess that is going to keep happening for sure.
Chelsea picked up form prior to the Dortmund game, they won Leads United in their last match and the squad must have been energized by that win and wanted to continue winning. Also don't forget that the squad coach Graham Potter job was on the line as there were speculation of him to be sacked if he loses. The whole squad played that Dortmund game just for Graham Potter. You could see the determination in the squad. After the Dortmund game, Chelsea has continued in a winning form by beating a home clubin the premier league and that's something that they haven't been able to do in a very long time. Meanwhile yesterday Dortmund couldn't even win their match atleast to show some frustration. Chelsea trashed Leicester city 3:1 while Dortmund drew with Schalke, I think the better team moved on so we shouldn't be surprised. Dortmund lack Champions League football experience. Chelsea are two time winners and frequently surpassed the round of 16 so it would had even be a surprise if we didn't defeat Dortmund to advance especially as we have the squad capable of doing such. |

al ittihad is one of the strongest teams in the SPL this season, even in the last 5 matches they have lost. The defeat on March 10 yesterday was Al Nassr's second defeat against Al Ittihad (previously Al Nassr lost in the Super Cup semifinals). my prediction until the end of this season, al ittihad's chances of winning the SPL are very large, al nassr will find it difficult to catch them.
I think this was why Ronaldo was very angry that they lost against them. Al Nassr playing Al-Ittihad isn't a small game irrespective of the competition they're paying in and couple with the fact that Al-Ittihad was breathing behind them that any mistakes of them losing gives Al-Ittihad the lead just as it has happened. But the title isn't won lost yet. Al Nassr still has a chance to reclaim their position. The points different is just one which Al Nassr can overtake them at any money. Al-Ittihad hasn't lost I their last five games but they have draw. Them drawing again would give Al Nassr the lead provided Al Nassr keeps on winning. I think it's now two consecutive games that Ronaldo hasn't impacted the game either through scoring himself or giving assits. I think he needs to get back to training, get himself fit both physically and mentally. He has to stop giving the rival fans something to use and torment him. Al-Nassr lost 1-0 away to rivals Al-Ittihad, causing them to drop to second place in the Saudi Pro League. However, there's no need to panic, because there are still 10 games left in the league! It's just a point difference, and I hope Al-Nassr can regain their top position of the table. I'm really want Al-Nassr to win the league.
That game was very frustrating for Ronaldo, he really wanted to revenge the lost to Al-Ittihad but still couldn't. Ronaldo doesn't feel comfortable with losing unlike how some professional footballers behave when they lose and that's the mentally that has gotten him this far, he always want to win and you could see his frustration that it wasn't happening. It was evident that Al-Ittihad was going to win that match as they were the more dominate side and kept on pushing until they finally got their reward with a goal. At that point I thought the best Al Nassr could get was a draw since they weren't in that game but sadly they lost. I just hope Al Nassr can reclaim their position in the coming games as I really want to see Al Nassr lift the trophy just for the sake of Ronaldo. He mad us fall in love with this leagues nobody knew about it or even watch it until he made the move to the league. Al Nassr next game is against Abha and they will be meeting twice, first in the King Cup of Champions tournament and then the league game. The game between Manchester united and Liverpool was a derby, form doesn't matter when it comes to derby as there are some clubs that could be playing badly but never or hardly lose to their derby opponents. Today game wasn't a derby and Leicester city were already worst than Chelsea so there was no way they could have won. My prediction were off by just one goal and that's because I thought Leicester city won't be able to score a goal. And it would have stayed that way if not for Chelsea gifting them that equalizer. Chelsea were determined to win and they created chances after chances and did deserve their win. If not for VAR they could have easily gotten upto 5 goals. Graham Potter is buying himself time with their wins and it would build their confidence in the team. I love the fact that Mudryk was given a chance in this game and he almost got himself a goal. If this boys continue in this spirit then they might just get themselves a fighting chance for the top 4 position. I still feel that slots is wide open to any team that wants it more as others aren't taking advantage of Chelsea bad form to secure the spot already. |
