Will take the pick for Pistons in Moneyline against the Cavs . The odds are better @4.8 and I know Pistons will increase their performance after some close match up in Game 1. Well I know Cavs are prepared for this as always. Just want to give this a try.
I'll be going with you sir, I think cavs is not mentally prepared to this game, but it will be a luck we both know that. hope we win big odds for us will also try handicap to cover just in case. good luck sir.

I don't really understand why most people continue to bet against the Cavs and bash them. They had some problems but the team played decently in their last game without breaking a sweat against a very hot Pistons team that couldn't keep up their ridiculous 3pt shooting of the first half (they are one of the worst in the playoffs in this category). So considering that, I really don't see how they can win tonight unless Jackson & Drummond dominate the game which I don't see it happening considering their previous games.

Even if I'm not in this campaign for a long time, I would like to say a big thank to SFR10 and squall1066 Wink ! This was a pleasure to be part of this campaign in its early days, and I hope that I'll be able to join it back someday.

Same here, I left the campaign some weeks ago but it was wonderfully managed, good luck and thanks again!
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Play-Off Discussion on: April 18, 2016, 04:56:29 PM
Pistons almost won the game but they couldn't finish well, their lack of play-off experience made them mistakes in last quarter. Reggie Jackson should play better and find the best option rather than shooting every ball in critical seconds. They are getting experience, they would be better in second game.

And take note Pistons able to handle most of the quarters even with the 3 CAVS star in a healthy status. And their first half three points stats is really interesting - made 10 of 16 in the first half only.

CAVS only lead by 2 at the end of first quarter and PISTONS managed to get the lead to finished the first half.

The Pistons will not shoot like that again in the series so if they didn't win this I'm afraid they are done. They may get one game at Detroit but Lebron didn't even sweat really. I think the Cavs will sweep these series but there's a chance the Pistons take at least one.

When judging people and events, I always refer to Heinlein's razor (reprised); "Never attribute to malice that which is mere incompetence.".

Is Mark as competent as we or he himself would like?  He clearly still has a lot to learn about cryptos and the people involved and how to run a good business in this space.  We all do!  Otherwise we'd be in the Panama Papers, right?

Look, I don't like this guy Mark any more than you do, but I believe he has the clout to stop the self-delusions of what would make him happy (being "a great fucking success" in his own words, or a multimillionaire through porn-style ads for example) and focus on his real assets (having some competent friends and rewarding them for helping him succeed). That's my definition of competence as a business owner, anyways.

You can give a man a fish, teach a man to fish, or laugh at him for getting wet.
What about you guys, are you incompetent, or do you simply enjoy kicking a guy while he's down?

Was there even a single useful post in this thread?  Was a single satoshi lost or gained because of it?
Please do the right thing and close this sad, self-gratifying thread as soon as possible.
I was liking your post until the last paragraph.

You dont believe this thread is useful to others? What?
Lost or gained?....Mark has admitted that the efforts put into this thread cost Banx potential 'investors'. Thats a gain, in my book.
Sad, self-gratifying?....i really dont see the OP wallowing in any self-righteous ego trip. The facts are Banx and Mark would have ended up in exactly the same place as it finds itself in, regardless of the OP, me, or anyone else here......cos Mark. Plain and simple deluded narcissist. The only sad thing here, is that Mark still genuinely believes the bullshit he publishes.....

"Our Innovation

Respectfully, you have called upon the wrong thing to close down.

With stuff like:

Your Ticket to the Moon
Investing in Banx Capital means you share profit of all our businesses. There are currently crypto based shares available to private investors. Contact us to find out more.

I think this thread is more than useful and a clear warning for many entering crypto and not knowing anything about it. I only learned about Banx after I got some in a giveaway but when I started researching what it actually was it sickened me. Not that there wasn't any other scamcoins like this, but this one even has all the deadaways in their marketing and presentation with this guy speaking as if it was a millonaire guru with the secret formula. It's as sad as it is pathetic, how can people fall for this? Well they do so this thread should go on as a long as fools keep falling for scams.

1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 14, 2016, 07:37:18 PM
It think it is a good idea to have some money in both coins.....both have the opportunity to rise and if one falls then you still have some of your money in the other one

Exactly, but these fanatics think that if Ethereum falls to $8 it is because it is a scam or a complete failure. Ethereum may crash and burn eventually but it's also perhaps the only altcoin that holds true potential. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are risky investments. You guys really think that $100-200 value for BTC is out of the question after the halvening? Because I really can't see it going over $500 just on inertia, 2016 may be the first year where Bitcoin value goes down in its history.

1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 14, 2016, 02:55:59 PM
I honestly think the last drop was the end of the "bubble" and the price was going back to sub 0.01 which is crazy if you ask me. All things considered, the price is perfectly fine right now, it's bearish of course because nothing much is happening but it has held very well. The problem is that it hit $15 in a weekend, it went from $10 to $15 in two days or so and that's not healthy by any means. I think a fair price right now for ETH would be around $6 or $7.

I think any "Bitcoiners" who don't want to invest a single satoshi in Ethereum is delusional. It may drop in the near term but the future is very bright especially when there is news, while at the same time Bitcoin hasn't evolve in these months, it only has the halvening going for it and that could actually become a double-edged sword.

Will Cleveland sweep the East?

I think CAVS journey Eastern Conference playoffs will be different from the previous playoffs where they only loss by couple of times during the series with the Chicago Bulls. Toronto Raptors is deadly too. This team I think will be the toughest team they will faced in playoffs round.

I don't think Toronto will give the Cavs serious problems even if it is the second best team in the East, the same happened last year with Atlanta and a decimated Cavs unit sweep them. I think the Cavs could face some problems against Miami, Boston or Indiana really, those are very though teams that know how to control them.

Utah Jazz v Los Angeles Lakers =  LAL @ 2.99

Kobe's last home game in the Staples Center. Expecting a good output from his team and a good win exit.

Interesting pick, the problem is that Utah is chasing the last playoffs spot in the West so it's do or die for them. The odds are nice though and I can see how the Lakers will make a huge effort to get Kobe that win.

Wow we made it to the end, such a nice season although a little predictable it had some great surprises as GSW becoming an historic team and Curry playing at a unbelievable level. Will OKC create some problems for GSW or SAS in the west? Will Cleveland sweep the East?
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: April 11, 2016, 11:17:57 PM
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks
Cavs cannot let all the good things they have done so far in the season to fail in last seven days. Toronto is very close but with a victory Cavs would still secure their first position and advantage of the home court until the very NBA finals. Unless there is no special surprises in line ups, then the victory will be recorded on account to Cleveland: Cavs -5.5 points

Agreed but lately the Cavs are a bag of surprises, even with no lineup changes so I really not sure. If it was a playoff series I think Cleveland could even go 4-0, maybe 4-1 but in regular season games the Hawks kinda dominated them in the last couple of years.

0.02 breached...

Pretty much an all-around bloodbath in alts today  Tongue

Yes it's all focused on ETH because it's obviously the main altcoin right now but if you take a look around all recent strong coins like MAID, FCT, DGB, SC,  XMR, etc are getting hammered even harder in some cases.

Careful with the Warriors tonight, they are resting Bogut and limiting other players so keep that in mind before placing any bets. Memphis should see a bump in their ML odds after these updates. I would still back the Warriors though, Memphis always play great against them but end up losing...
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 09, 2016, 04:21:22 PM
I think right now a price lower than $5 for ETH is just too cheap because many are expecting to consolidate their stake positions and for less than $5 is just too cheap to do so.

The price of Eth should be a negative number until it finds a use case. As of the moment I cannot see any role for ether except being one of the most inefficient methods of running script. There could be a use case devised in the future, but than why wouldn't someone just use a clone with PoS instead?

The main idea in crypto and blockchains technologies is decentralization, you can definitely run a clone for your bank or business institution and be done with it. However the future is in IOT and security will be very important, a standard platform needs to be in place. Plus why would you use a clone that will take a lot of money and devs to make and maintain when some of the best in the world are working on Ethereum and Bitcoin right now?

price goes up price goes down, best bet is to hold your altcoin until it is pumped like crazy, maybe happens in 1 year, doesnt matter.

For those speculators, we are clearly at the tail end of a multiple month pump. Because of the bitcoin halvening approaching which will than double the relative inflation of Ethereum it would be wise to take your profits as soon as possible. Those that are already in the red because of multiple downturns can decide whether to take a small loss or gamble that there will be another pump in a year or two. It is doubtful Ethereum will rise with the BTC tide because most smart money will at least temporarily dump their ETH for BTC. Even if you are hopeful of Ethereum's long term future which is questionable at minimum it is a lost opportunity to avoid a btc bubble which is likely to occur due to disinflation.

Please nobody will flock to buy BTC because of the halvening, we all know is BS and Bitcoin is at a huge crossroads. It may go up a little, but I don't see it passing $500. I agree that ETH have a lot more room to drop than to climb right now but in my opinion it has held its price very well, from $9-12, very stable and without major news so I think it can sit there, maybe even dropping to 7-8 but not less than $5. The problem with ETH is that the rise to $15 was just too quick and a complete bubble (the only real bubble on the last months). I think right now a price lower than $5 for ETH is just too cheap because many are expecting to consolidate their stake positions and for less than $5 is just too cheap to do so.
