1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "BSV and Monero are the way, and Craig Wright is Satoshi" on: July 01, 2022, 12:42:10 PM
Not just BSV but there are a lot of newbies out there that think random shitcoins with nothing to offer are "better than bitcoin" and are going to some day become "number 1 coin" in the market. Funny thing is that they keep losing money bag holding these shitcoins and still think the same way until they lose a significant amount and finally give up.
The biggest example of such shitcoins that got biggest pumps is ETH.
This is why we see lot of deviations in top -10 on CMC but bitcoin always remain on the top but they will completely ignore these facts and are living in fantasy world where these shitcoins are providing them some utility but in reality the whales are taking their advantage for personal benefits and they all are filling their bags of shitcoins which will be lying dead in their wallet after some time.

The BTC is best choice and their are fundamental as well technical proof like how it's decentralised with network security and not so much high fees in the time of congestion also whereas ETH gas is like you have to send more as fees for the amount you are sending so what's the fun here? But explaining them is waste as those who don't understand it or want to they will be conceived with some influencer telling them this shitcoin is next 100x so be fast and they will pour their money into it but not bitcoin. So they loose at the end for their mistakes.
1562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: July 01, 2022, 12:33:17 PM
Every gambling website selling services to Italian customers must be specifically authorised and monitored by Italian government.
You must abide to a series of regulations and certifications, otherwise, it’s ban.
Basically, all gambling sites are blocked by default, and you get to obtain this authorisation in order to make your website visible.

Welcome to Italy!
There are lot of regulations for the gambling business in Italy by the government and Land casino and online casinos have the the different governing authorities with variation in rules and prohibitions. But as you see most of them are VPN users but the government always want to have them under their control and generate tax revenues from them .

Just going through this file of Italian gambling rules : Gambling in Italy and the list is long and not surprised as they are having the same like any other country in which they allow something is good otherwise they are illegal.
1563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me translate my best posts in your Local Board on: July 01, 2022, 12:18:47 PM
Hello fillippone, I have translated your post Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! to my local Nigerian Pidgin and posted it to our local board.

Translated Topic in Pidgin Language: Everythin wey you wan be know about Grayscale BTC Trust but fear no gree you ask am!

This is my second translation of your posts. I'm having so much fun and learning a lot.

Regards,
Davidvictorson

It seems good work to me although I am not familiar with the local language but you see the first impression states that it has the touch of the pidgin language and will help the members to have the exposure about greyscale investment in depth. So keep this translation work to help the useful thread reach to those who are unaware about these.

Hello Mate.
Thank you for your work.
I updated the OP with links to both your work. I somehow forgot to update it with the first content.
Pidgin board is getting a very good coverage!
It's really good to see members volunteering to cover your topics and share them in their local boards and there are some past translation in pidgin board as well.So you need to create some more threads  Grin
1564  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 27/06/2022 on: July 01, 2022, 12:06:48 PM

thank you here for mentioning my user with the nice number of merits.
on october 26 last year i reached my goal of having more merits than my activity.
now only the goals to break/reach the respective thousand marks remain Grin
So till then you are keeping up this work as you have earned 977 merits in 247 days with an average of 3.9 or say around 4 merits a day on the forum which is impressive. So congratulations on another nice record and breaking the next milestone with each merit count.

So among all other merit records here is one more for the artist on our forum @Maus0728 who has attained 1212 merits till now and have the opportunity to save it here:

So looking forward to save more of these records here.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THIS CRASH IS DIFFERENT than previous crashes... The FEDERAL RESERVE is why.... on: June 30, 2022, 12:35:43 PM
Bitcoin going down by such a large amount has ENDED the dream of a lot of serious institutional money investing into Bitcoin.  No large institution is going to invest real money into Bitcoin now that it has crashed by more than 66 % in less than a year.
So you were saying about no big institutions are going to invest in bitcoin with prices going down around 70% ? But don't if you are active on the market watch and seeing how big players are taking advantage of these dips because they are smart to play with money and take returns from them but on the other side you always miss the opportunity to do so and blame bitcoin for it.

To contrary what you expected MicroStrategy has invested another $10 million to acquire additional 480 bitcoins to their reserves

And according to Michael Saylor's latest tweet, MicroStrategy keeps DCA-ing like everything is normal Cheesy
They've just bought (yesterday) 480BTC so their total is around 129,699BTC and the average price is ~30,664$

So do market research about what you are writing and will advise you to read and have technical working of bitcoin and why people are investing in it and using this financial freedom tool with complete decentralisation and you will come to know the difference between legit and Ponzi schemes also.
1566  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: June 30, 2022, 12:22:35 PM
According to my computation the recent sell off in Bitcoin is going to cost huge money to MicroStrategy:
The current loss could yeild a million dollars profits also for MSTR with bitcoin boosting and he knows this fact so taking these risks is well paid off.But still bitcoin needs to surpass atleast $30k levels and then they will be in some real profits otherwise they can risk out some more to gain more Grin

And according to Michael Saylor's latest tweet, MicroStrategy keeps DCA-ing like everything is normal Cheesy
They've just bought (yesterday) 480BTC so their total is around 129,699BTC and the average price is ~30,664$
He is always waiting for these opportunities to invest and you could see his Twitter wall filled with all the bitcoin optimistic tweets and advocating about it.He once again jumped in to buy these additional bitcoins and now is the top institutional bitcoin holding investors only due to him.The bitcoin spark in his eyes is to accumulate more and more bitcoins at these discounted rates.
1567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deep Bitcointalk Forum Statistics No One Ever Told You About on: June 30, 2022, 12:12:58 PM
You have tried to share tool for helping members to find the stats for forum but as other members have stated above also this is completely unreliable as they might be fetching the public information from the forum but what metrics we have to verify it? Or do you believe the age, gender are entered in right manner by the members while registering on the forum.

The email should not be visible to the public as scammers can try to send you false links so it's better to keep it hidden so the other stats are also not correct.

According to one survey they compared different websites to check how much accuracy rate they have while presenting these stats and was found out that similarweb has deviation of around 17% which is huge margin by the way :

So the information they fetched from websites having all the correct measures have these much deviations so how can you trust them for forum statistics where you can't verify the information and most of us wants to be anonymous?
1568  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Legacy of Egypt 🚀 7% Casino Boost 🚀 on: June 30, 2022, 11:59:42 AM
Bitcasino getting verified ticks = huge win.
Two recognized forum users winning price prediction = win.

Me trying to get highest multiplier by doing martingale first on Turbo Games (dice) to build up a bankroll = attempt ended.  Cheesy

Note to self for next time check the max wager so your martingale doesn't end so early. 100 Euro a little too small for max bet, Karl, should ask Turbo Games to increase that, maybe one extra zero? Wink On the other hand, I for sure have 1 raffle ticket, wagered way way way more than required lol

But on the other side 100 EURO as max bet could be high for some small gamblers and martingale strategy don't work for me and have not much good experience with it consuming my funds fast but we all have different ways of playing which we like.

So you consumed 100 EURO on Turbo games only? Maybe they increase the limit a little bit but don't think so with an additional zero but with gradual increase in limits maybe double in the first end.
1569  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 30, 2022, 11:47:47 AM
what about collective creations, when more than one person creates the same artwork? this should be ok, right?
I don't really see any issues here.

As long as the artwork is original and is composed or conceptualize by you and your colleagues -- that's fine. However, you will be the one responsible distributing the rewards among your friends since they are involved who put an effort in making the artwork materialize.

Just don't commit plagiarism/artwork stealing -- there is nothing to worry about. Goodluck.
Yeah the rules of the artwork also states the same that you could present any type of artwork like hand drawn or digital and you can showcase the collective creations also but two could not be identical at all as we all have different ideas while making these arts.So try to be original although you can have an idea from previous contest but make sure it's your original idea.

Yes it's good that you can submit your friends/family members entries aslo and if you win you can reward them for their contribution that has helped you to win but would say also write up in your submission giving them credits about the same.
1570  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 27/06/2022 on: June 30, 2022, 11:31:09 AM

Speaking about records and merit achievement, I do hope to be able to snap a picture at a 9,999 record and then a 10,000 record.

I know it is difficult and not dependent on my will, but I will try!
Only difference of single merit but will help you to save two really cool merit numbers on the forum and hope you save both of them here in this thread and 10k is now not too far for you :

Code:
9999 merits : 162 merits left
10000 merits : 163 merits left

So will try to be more active to save them here first before you also and flash @Ratimov who usually takes these chances when other misses.

I have no doubt that this happend soon , that achievement is lightyears away from me.
Same here it will take us don't know how many years to reach that 10k level and till then don't know we have 50k merit club also Grin
1571  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: June 30, 2022, 11:19:26 AM

Stop using Bitcoin ALL OF YOU. It will become faster if no one uses it. Don't be so selfish, stop it before it's too late. If we don't use Bitcoin, the network will not be congested.
I would also like to add that you should stop driving your car. By not driving your car, you don't waste fuel and pay for petrol. If you don't waste fuel, there is no need for refueling.

Make sure you like and subscribe to my YouTube channel for other life lessons.
A very useful piece of advice that we all should follow and wondering when he will be proposing BIP with the same idea of not using bitcoin at all to remove the network lag problems  Grin

Although if he have some time apart from being involved in scams on forum like cloud mining,he could have researched about the network fees and should have heard about LN channels but his thinking is way too ahead.

So whenever you feel hungry don't eat this way there will no food shortages around the globe and same way if you want to solve the problem then don't do it at all.Only one post and all other related to selling those fake services on the forum.
1572  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 27/06/2022 on: June 29, 2022, 01:25:05 PM
I had a little bit of free time and updated the thread. I added about 30 new screenshots to the OP. Congrats everyone to your merit milestones.
Good you added some more records to the @OP but also hope one day I make it to the same wall of fame with one of my nice merit record on the forum so till then keeping up the same effective posting. Wink

Bitcointalk has been showing an increasing number of proxy errors with some hosting providers lately. Therefore, it would be great if you could use imgur. This provider seems to work and you don't need an account to upload any images.
Yeah only imgbb is having some issues as many of us are getting proxy invalid image errors for some images so we have to look for other alternatives and postingimages.org is one which i get acquainted recently and is really good over TOR also.

Keep it up everyone! When 10k @fillippone?  Tongue
Sooner then it might seems. The next legendary milestone is going to be cracked by the Italian bitcoin geek @fillippone preety fast and having an eye on it.

Well, I wanted to save Lafu's perfect merit record here of quadruple 2's before someone or I messed it up  Grin
Now it's already messed up with one more additional merit so you are on the time so congratulations to him for the same Quadruple 2's Angel number.
1573  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 29, 2022, 01:12:11 PM
So the sports Rollbots with general traits are selling for around $470 on Rollbit and you can see others also here shifting between Rollbots V1 also to check about them all to have an idea : https://rollbit.com/nft/lobby/sportsbots?sbsort=Highest%20Combo%20Boost

So the second NFT holders are in current loss compared to V1 holders but they might get more profits with sportsbook volume being increased.
1574  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Legacy of Egypt 🚀 7% Casino Boost 🚀 on: June 29, 2022, 01:01:56 PM
I think I am waiting for the next prediction because I miss many events from Bitcasino.

But I feel that the next bitcoin price prediction will not be easy as the price will go wilder than before. I am just thinking about when the price will soar to the high price and win the next prediction.
The Bitcasino have these price prediction contest on frequent basis and you will see another one soon but speaking about the prices then it can't be said what type of volatility we will see like from few days we are struck in $20-$21k barrier recovering a little bit and if some huge investment flows into the market like the recent news of Binance buying 101k bitcoins pushed them little high so next levels would be above if same pace continues.
1575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to take profit? on: June 29, 2022, 12:48:21 PM
The problem with altcoin bags is that the loss is usually higher than the gain which means even if one or two of them get pumped the dumping of the rest negates that profit. Which is why I always prefer trading altcoins than bag holding them and only buy them while they are starting to pump and sell them as quickly as possible before the dumping begins. That way the profit is somewhat ensured while I always have liquidity to catch any ongoing pump. Obviously this strategy is harder and takes a lot more effort, but it has lower risk.
The thing is people have wrong choice of investment and invest in altcoins when they are pumping in hope to gain more profits but they ignore their research and completely beleive others for profit making and they invest mainly in these shitcoins due to :

1) Influence of some known people who is trying to manipulate the market and fills their profit bags but the majority of them losses the amount they have invested in.

2) They think altcoins are cheap comparatively to bitcoin and can accumulate more of them ignoring that stacking sats is possible and when get rugged they say the market is risky

3) When any altcoin is going up under the pump-dump scheme through paid influence and spreading FOMO about them so the greed of people make them invest blindly in these altcoins and the results are same they loose money.

We can clearly see that crash like the current would not be survived by 80% of the shitcoins and lying dead in the wallets of holders so why go through them ? So best is to invest in bitcoin and HODL long term in it without any worry and this way you can take profits.

Your style of trading altcoins is good because you are not holding them and take out profits at time they are giving even normal returns also while others wait for huge profits and then eventually loose all the money in them.

So again posting back in WO thread after small break to cope up with my mates  Wink

Whenever bitcoin is down I go to the past stats to motivate myself and hold on to my investment knowing how people call it ponzi scheme and still it recovered from all the crashes and still the number one coin in the market.

This one particular video of Andreas explaining people the importance of bitcoin when it was just around $100 but see the empty room states how many people missed the opportunity to gain something financial revolutionary at such prices

https://twitter.com/DocumentingBTC/status/1541738949185527809?t=CBlafEBQVYZXhFf4Mu0zTg&s=19

This man has been great source for bitcoin growth and spreading information about it like his book Mastering Bitcoin is must read and you will understand how bitcoin is so valuable and deflationary in nature with control over your funds.

Another chart showing the optimistic growth of bitcoin for different countries is sign of increased adoption in developing nations :

So buy if you can and it's not a financial advice  Grin
1577  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 28, 2022, 12:11:31 PM

All of these makes sense in the end, and I believe that people can see it, and they make decisions based on that. Roobet is so great that it makes people like me who hate kyc, question their stance and maybe bite the bullet and get it done.

I do agree with that.
I enjoy playing at Roobet because it has proven to be a trustworthy and fair casino. The introduction of the KYC was an unpleasant inconvenience that had to be overcome before I could use the platform again. Although many hate it, especially in the crypto community. Fortunately, the Level 1 KYC only required basic identification with a name and an address.

Many players were uncomfortable with the introduction of KYC on Roobet and say some of them left it but the major problem is whales as they have to submit more documents to withdraw the funds but for small gamblers level 1 KYC is fine. But we can't do anything about it and the choice is ours that we are comfortable about it or not as there are casinos which don't ask for it.
1578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 28, 2022, 12:03:43 PM
If you see the value is worth it and you are into Rollbit then this can be a good opportunity for you to enjoy some benefits of being a VIP, though I’m not sure if you can easily sell that plain NFT but if you really afford to have one, don’t hesitate to get it since Rollbit is one of the good gambling site today and for sure they will continue to innovate and maybe give more privileges to their VIPs.
I would say if you can then best is to buy some Rollbots directly to avail more benefits from the caisno but if you are going for sports rollbots from V2 sale then seek for some good traits as general ones are not giving much profits to the holders. But one with more wagering amounts can have the VIP pass as an extra credit to them.
1579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of interesting Bitcoin statistics on: June 28, 2022, 11:47:15 AM
Great compilation @OP for the different resources we can use to make extensive research about the data we intend to use for bitcoin and other crypto market in general.Like i was aware about some of them but not all of them speaking frankly and now we get more alternative in the replies from high rank members also.

There are some other's like Bitinfocharts.com that represent different aspects for bitcoin as well as other coins like you can have the data about last 24 hours of fees, active address, transactions, block size and all others which is quite good for members to extract the information from.

If you intend on having more of them you can check out this

Overall nice thread @OP and appreciate for bringing it up to us and newbies can take advantage of it.
1580  Other / Meta / Re: How do I get rid of Negative trust? on: June 28, 2022, 11:35:33 AM
OP, Charles-Tim speaks the truth.  That's why those telegram people aren't able to write anything useful about negative trust removal--the way the trust system has been structured on bitcointalk for as long as I can remember is that moderators and/or Theymos don't get involved with any trust left between two members, period.  So either you work it out with the member who left you the neg or it stands as it is.
Telegram groups of these types are usually meant for scamming members and spreading misinformation to them like you would see merit and account selling talks there but in reality they just want to earn few dollars by making people fool. The negative trust cannot be removed except from the person who has given it but although you can make a request to the user by correcting your mistakes and if he feel so.But believing in these telegram talks is waste of time only.

I get the impression OP wants to have a discussion about it, maybe to clarify what's being written on telegram or other sites.  And if any of those people were actually members here for any length of time, they ought to know that it's not a complicated situation.  A frustrating one, maybe, but very uncomplicated.  The person who left you the feedback is the only one who can remove it.
But i doubt a member who didn't have any issues with the negative trust is asking for the same so little bit confused about him.You work according to the rules of forum and you don't need to worry about the negative tags at all as you won't get them. But if you have one then only the sender have the authority to clear it.
