guess I could make a simple bet with the other user, for the same (or a little worse) conditions. the other member re-insuring himself is not my business..

and of course I don't consider the 50% service...

Wouldn't posting the address here in public make everything much more trustworthy? Everybody can see I sent the money... I would also post the address where I would expect my winnings to be returned.
Maybe that's just newbie thinking, what's the customs here?
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100%(x2) away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 19, 2012, 07:56:14 PM
can some trusted proxy (I would consider all of the offers) please post an address where I can send my funds to?
much obliged!
also I didn't totally get your system of quoting and re-quoting... how can that be of any value if anybody can edit his post without it being visible?
thanks!
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 200% away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 19, 2012, 05:27:08 PM
I felt my 10% offer to be pretty generous...
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 200% away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 19, 2012, 04:59:51 PM
Can you quote and agree to my bet above please.

Also, to clarify, the passthrough operators are customers of pirate and must be paid back for you to win the bet. The customers of those passthroughs are not part of this bet as you are not making any claims on what the operators do with the payout if they receive it.

would you be willing to act as an intermediate? in case I win, I'll give you 10% of the earnings (say 'five btc').

hi, I would love to join the bet with 50BTC, my address 1FWMPAwHkqeTh9jdEo9YBoFztYbobZUPFS .
I know I am not an established member, I would be willing to send the money to you upfront or to any trustworthy escrow...

7% ?! Per week? Excuse me.
1588  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Large is BTCST exposure? on: August 15, 2012, 05:48:45 AM
which day of the week does he pay out the interest? just for me to know when to look for a default...

if you take 500k bitcoin at a 6% interest per week that would make 10M bitcoin in only one year - more than in existence...

you should read the op.  If you're too lazy to do even that, you're not going to be much use determining if it is a ponzi or not.

hi - sorry for asking, but what is the "op"? if it is the first post, how does it answer my question?
and at 7% per WEEK there is absolutely no need to "determine" if it is a ponzi or not.

So - no the 5V of the Molex are not connected to the backplane? In that case I really would consider a high efficiency PSU as I don't intend to switch it off any more once running.

Hi,

I am thinking about buying one of your miners - I have children and need some kind of case for it. I was thinking about an old desktop computer - we have a lot of those at work. What makes me worry is the power supply. What's your experience for the 5V rail? Do I need some additional load on it? Does the one you offer have one inside?
I don't like the thought of buying myself some super efficient equipment and then burning 25% of the energy on the PS.
How critical is the 12V value for your board? A little more or less okay? Are you not using any of the 5V also on the Molex?

Thanks for providing the best choice miner for me!
1593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick Question on: August 10, 2012, 12:56:08 AM

Thanks for your replies guys Smiley So you all say that 0.2 BTC is what I had to have for running the miner for 24 hours in 210 Mhash/rating? Even if it was 300mhash I have had 0.25, which is not even close to 3 dollars  Undecided
Hi

Mining is not a get rich quick scheme.

keeping all the bitcoin still could make it such in the future
