1621  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 19, 2023, 05:40:08 AM
New poster here, just wanted to share the winnings from my session today on a new casino as I'd like to leave a good review. I deposited $100 to start with and proceeded to hit a few 20x multipliers on $5 bets getting me up to around $370. I then waited for red streaks of 4 or more and then martingaled it all the way up to $2800 then went down to $2519 when I cashed out.
Well done!
I deposited $10 and was able to make $2980. When I wanted to withdraw, the site was asking me to deposit $500 first so that they can verify my account. I could not let the $2980 walk away from me so I deposited $500 and since then I am trying to withdraw the balance but it does not show me a withdraw button. I reached out to their customer support but no one answered. What should I do?

Can you please contact them for me and help me to get my withdrawal processed? Please, please.

Guess what, it's a very old technique. 🤣

It might be because the site only wants to pay someone who has made only 25x from $100 and does want not to pay someone who made 290x from a $10 deposit hehehehe. The percentage of their loss vs. you is much higher than him, so the site began asking you to deposit $500 more to lower it hehehe.

In any case, they have a very good business. If gamblers lose to them, it is revenue. However, if they lose to the gambler, ask him to deposit $500 more and keep it as more revenue.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gary Gensler's SEC sues Crypto Influncers and posts on his Twitter as propaganda on: April 19, 2023, 04:26:22 AM
@rdbase. There is also a video of Gary Gensler promoting Algorand. The link to the video is included in the article. Uncle Gary should sue himself and also pay for the fine himself hehehheheh. The is head scratching. The cryptospace has created clowns and hustlers out of many people.

The head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Gary Gensler, has been caught promoting Algorand. Critics are calling him a hypocrite.

Footage has emerged of Gary Gensler, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), promoting the cryptocurrency Algorand (ALGO). Gensler, SEC chair since 2021, is spearheading a regulatory crackdown on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

At one point in the clip, Gensler speaks highly of Italian computer scientist Silvio Micali, the project’s founder. “Silvio Micali’s Alogrand, he’s a Turing Award winner at MIT I work with… Silvio’s got a great technology, it has performance, you could create Uber on top of it.”

~

This is where the problem begins and you admit this yourself. Maximalists argue from a biased view of the cryptospace and consider everything in it has no right to try new things if it is not done in bitcoin. This is not reasonable and it does not allow space for innovation. No one knows what the cryptospace will be, similar to what no one knew what the internet might be when it was invented.

I am not against innovation, let's make this clear!
I'm not against projects like Wasabi or Bisq or Open bazaar or whatever, where I stop sympathizing with so-called "devs" is when they ask for money before having anything other than a plagiarized whitepaper. So my question stills stand, what kind of innovation other than ICO sales are the new regulation hindering? Because you see, bitcoin had no ICO, LN had no ICO, segwit had no ICO, and neither did a ton of things, if we go into the altcoin universe there is nothing without upfront money from investors, sometimes more money than Google would need

So until somebody shows me a real project that was a net benefit to the community and didn't require billion in purchased shitcoins that was forced to leave becuase of this I won't budge from my position, which is that they can all go to h*&^!

This is why I wish CZ will win and show decentralization works.

CZ and decentralization, this was actually funny!

Everything in bitcoin with no space for anything else because everthing that is not bitcoin is a scam, correct?

Also, yes CZ and the decentralization of the different cryptocoins, tokens, and the protocols in the cryptospace. This is not funny. I reckon this is an annoyance for the regulators hehehe. CZ holds billions in crypto, how can the government take it from him? How can the government stop him from moving them from address to address or convert them to Monero where it cannot be detected?
1624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar v3 on: April 18, 2023, 03:15:13 AM
Even considering Bitcoin and cryptocurrency become more popular in last 3 years, i have doubt they'll make comeback even if  unless they don't improve UI/UX of their software. I remember merchant have to keep their computer/server online all the time (to make their goods searchable by user) and user need to install software which is a bit resource demanding where search took some time.

Agreed, also part of the reason of low activity in Openbazaar might be because much of the holders did not buy bitcoin to spend, they bought it to hold as an investment. There might be some of them who might try it to buy something occassionaly, however, they might also not use it as their first choice of currency for shopping much of the time.
1625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction from $30K: Reason to worry? on: April 18, 2023, 02:39:26 AM
My vote is for no, we should not worry. Inflows on bitcoin have been coming from institutional investors according reports backed up with data being shared in social media. This week, bitcoin has $100 million of inflows.

The coin holders that should be preparing for a big dump are the holders of ethereum. The latest upgrade has unlocked billions of dollars in staked coins and it appears some of them are being deposited to exchanges.

Crypto exchanges received a net inflow of 179,500 ether (ETH), worth some $375 million in the four days after Ethereum’s Shanghai upgrade went live, according to crypto data firm CryptoQuant.

CryptoQuant data shows that traders deposited 1,101,079 ETH to exchanges between April 13 and April 16, while only removing 921,579 tokens. This was the largest four-day net inflow in a month.

Investors transferring tokens to exchanges usually indicates they are preparing to sell, which may lead to a price decline.

1626  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex to shut its U.S operations on: April 18, 2023, 01:58:46 AM
I am of course heavily biased since I'm a bitcoin maximalist to the core but if it were from my point of view I would ban completely any coin offering or limit it to the value of the assets the company has at the moment of the launch. You have $1000 in assets that's how much you can get in from selling shitcoin, no stuff liKe getting 4 billion in funding and ending with...EOS?
Would you cry over them not being allowed to operate in your country? I wouldn't!

In any case, a news update on the lawsuit against Bittrex. The SEC declares that Algorand, Dash, OMG Network and more in what was said to be a nonexhaustive list. This is head shaking because Bittrex risked growth of the exchange by following the rules when the SEC began issuing warnings on tokens issued as illegal securities. This is why I wish CZ will win and show decentralization works.

SEC Labels Algorand and Five Other Tokens as Securities in Bittrex Lawsuit

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) categorized six cryptocurrencies as securities in its lawsuit against crypto exchange Bittrex on Monday, highlighting them as potentially pivotal assets in an enforcement action against the Seattle-based firm.

The crux of the SEC’s complaint against Bittrex is that the platform failed to register with the watchdog as an exchange, broker-dealer, or clearing agency—a requirement for offering securities to customers in a manner regulated by the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 18, 2023, 12:16:31 AM
~snip~
Traditional finance is a much larger casino than the cryptospace so uncle Warren does not have the right to criticize us.

He or anyone else has the right to criticize anything and anyone if we live in a democratic society where every individual has the right to express his opinion. What's wrong is that after 10 years of his criticism of Bitcoin, you or anyone else still finds such news worthy of attention.

Heheheh in an argument when you tell someone that he has no right, it really implies that he is being unreasonable or unfair hehe. It does not mean that he really has no legal right hehehehe. However, yes he can tell everyone his opinion, similar to I have a right to share any news.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 17, 2023, 04:55:20 AM
Hello, with Hong Kong looking to lift ban on crypto in a few months June 1st 2023. Could we see huge gains coming from the next bull market from the following coins: Filecoin (FIL), VeChain (VET), Neo (NEO) and Conflux (CFX).

What are your thoughts?

I speculate Conflux and some of the projects created in this blockchain might have a pump that will be very much similar to the Shiba Inu token. I heard it is being considered as the Chinese Ethereum by some people in the cryptospace already.

There has also been an integration of 2 of Ethereum's most important DeFi protocols in Conflux.

Conflux Integrates Uniswap V3 And Curve Into China’s Market

Conflux, the first blockchain that complies with China’s stringent regulations, has proposed using CNH (offshore Chinese Yuan) stablecoin alongside Uniswap v3. Additionally, eCFX, the Ethereum mainnet currency CFX that has bridged to the blockchain, has been proposed as the blockchain’s entry into the Curve Wars.

The Uniswap community benefits from more trading opportunities involving USD and CNHC pairs when Uniswap v3 is deployed on Conflux eSpace. Also, Binance’s recent announcement that it will facilitate the mainnet integration of CFX tokens from Conflux Network will benefit the proposal.

1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 17, 2023, 03:17:52 AM
We're tired of encountering FUD and nonsensical comments, but even Bitcoin seems fatigued and unresponsive to such remarks. Nevertheless, Bitcoin remains in bull mode. Although Bitcoin may not hold the same significance for everyone, for us, it is a cryptocurrency that facilitates borderless transactions without the need for a third party. Hence, those with a centralized mindset may not appreciate Bitcoin. It's best to disregard them and move forward. I'm not bothered by such FUD in the least.

I reckon it might not be very nonsensical because much of the people who have gone into bitcoin are also here to speculate on the price, trading on leverage and to get rich quick. However, what we can also argue is it is very much similar to the stock market and the other markets of traditional finance. Traditional finance is a much larger casino than the cryptospace so uncle Warren does not have the right to criticize us.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: April 17, 2023, 02:02:11 AM
Is this part of Operation Chokepoint 2.0?

It appears that the speculation on stablecoins being deputized to be the gateways for inflows and outflows of fiat for the cryptospace might become true. A draft for a bill on stablecoin legislation has been created in United States congress.

DeFi and open finance stablecoins will become illegal, however, licensed stablecoins similar to USDC will be permitted and might also have the support of the government on liquidity.

A BILL

To provide requirements for payment stablecoin issuers, research on a digital dollar, and for other purposes.

It appears that the Washington Commanders might be sold the the group of John Harris, who is also the owner of the Philadelphia Sixers. I am not quite certain what would the effect of this on the team, however, the Sixers are presently not doing very bad under Harris' ownership.

According to some articles Harris bought the Sixers for $280 million and it is presently valued at more than $2 billion. Should Commanders fans be optimistic? I am certain Uncle Ron is quite happy heheheh.

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder and Josh Harris, who co-owns multiple professional sports teams, have reached an agreement on a sale of the franchise to Harris' group for an NFL-record price of $6.05 billion, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday, per sources.
Rapoport added that the sale is not final nor signed and no agreement has been sent to the league for approval, but a finalized sale is expected if all goes well.

1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: April 14, 2023, 03:51:56 AM
^ Fury was an actual boxer though. Nate Diaz is not. He’s most skilled in jiu jitsu which he will not be able to use. This is a step back for Jake, but it will be a more entertaining fight. Nate Diaz has so much scar tissue in his face he’s going to be bleeding like a stuck pig by the end of the second round. The pictures will be epic. I’m sure it’ll be the biggest payday of his life too.

Agreed. Jake Paul certainly knows how to choose his opponents hehe. Nate is a big name in MMA, he knows how box and the fight can certainly end in a technical knockout declared by the referee because of Nate's bleeding scar tissue on his eye brow. Also, has Nate been maintaining his weight before this announcement?

In any case, a shocking ending for this fight will be if Jake knocks out Nate. When was Nate knocked out in MMA? This was 2013 long ago hehehehe.
1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 14, 2023, 02:00:32 AM
Who the fuck cares what Warren Buffet has to say about Bitcoin anyway? And its not like he is saying this for the first time so that we should be surprised.

I am sorry if this is annoying, however, it was news that I wanted to share to show the hypocrisy of a person that many people consider a role model. Read the argument about the news.

In some occasions he might be a good person but to open his mouth again when bitcoin has begun pumping is very head shaking. He is like a friend who tells his other friends not to do something because he does not want to do it.

And now we can't even say that this rumored fight will happen or not or are they buying again another time, we just don't know for a fact.

The report of this rumored fight now became hyped as it's really going to happen.

But again, sh*t happened and we should not expect this fight to happen at 100% not unless an official announcement will be made.

Save the date, April 22, that's the ETA for the official announcement of this fight.

I have read some articles mentioning that Tank Davis fired Floyd Mayweather as his promoter, however, other articles mention he still is Tank's promoter. Similar to Terence Crawford, there are rumors that imply Mayweather is promoting him for a fight against Spence. I speculate that if Mayweather is really the promoter of Crawford and Tank, I reckon there will certainly be an announcement on April 22. However if not, this might only be another marketing trick for us to watch Tank vs. King Ry hehehhehee.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: April 13, 2023, 04:08:35 AM
According to sources, bitcoin is up more than 40% after Jim Cramer declared that he would sell his bitcoin last month. Countertrading Jim Cramer is working hehehehe.

My only wish is he does not declare that he has bought bitcoin until price is on $50k.

Uncle Warren is angry again.

What would be the difference between trading in tradfi and trading in the cryptospace? Nothing except in the cryptospace, small minnows similar to you and me can trade using smaller position sizes and still profit handsomely because the volatility is much higher. On the argument of gambling, I reckon tradfi with futures and options trading is the biggest casino in the world.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett doubled down on his Bitcoin criticism today, once again suggesting that the asset is nothing more than a get-rich-quick scheme.

In a Wednesday interview with CNBC, the Berkshire Hathaway boss said he didn’t blame people for wanting to get involved in what looks like “easy money.”

And today he continued his critique. “Something like Bitcoin, it’s a gambling token,” he said on CNBC’s Squawk Box. “The urge to participate in something where it looks like easy money is a human instinct which has been unleashed and has always been there.”

He continued: “It’s so human. People love the idea of getting rich quick—I don’t blame them,” before adding that Bitcoin doesn’t have any value but people still want to “play the roulette wheel” by investing in it.
