there are plenty of casinos not only growing big, but we have literally seen one of them sponsor a 10 million dollar sponsorship to a club just recently, a 10 million dollar one! So, if there is a thing that causes LL to lose money from the gambling income, or it is not profiting him as much as it used to etc etc, that is not because of the war but because he is not around and this place feels like it is no longer operational.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't really be believing all he says, he may "feel" like he is telling the truth, but may not realize the real truth is something else. If you ask him directly, he will tell his truth that Russia-Ukraine caused him to lose money, but the real reality is that he just went AWOL and nobody wants to play here because of that.
This is true, Russia-Ukraine has nothing to do with why bitvest is going south for him, it is all about him not being here. Look at the topic, we have been talking about him not being here for the past ... what 20 pages? And his last ever message was on early on may which had nothing to do with here, his last message here was end of January, nearly 5 months later and he is still nowhere to be found.

Let’s face the fact that this casino is gone, he doesn't care, he just left it like this and not caring about it anymore. If he doesn't want to run this place anymore and let it be, then why would we care about? Why are there people who defend the place when even the founder doesn't?

I have to say I didn't study no part of macroeconomics at all, and I still somehow agree with you. Maybe it could be for different reasons, maybe I just stumbled into crypto by luck and figured it out of my own without help just with pure luck, but I agree. Whatever fed does, whatever governments does, whatever people think will happen, all of that are useless because in the long run there will be plenty of situations where bitcoin will go up.

Definitely they could impact it for the time being, they could make it more volatile and it will go up and down like crazy, but that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about something that is short term and for now, whatever happens today, will have zero impact a few months later.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 23, 2022, 09:52:16 PM
Barcelona should realize that now the stability of the club is more important for them to think about than looking for expensive players, if barcelona continues to force themselves to recruit expensive players then it will only worsen their financial condition later, barcelona should be able to do the same like this season, namely taking advantage of the existing squad and looking for some free players who will not burden their finances, even though this season Barcelona failed to win the trophy but in my opinion Xavi managed to get Barcelona back up and their become competitors in La Liga only with the existing players and I think they can do it again next season.
What we are missing is that if they end up with a bad team, just to save some money, and have bad results then they are going to not make enough money and can't pay their debt back. I get that spending a lot of money on expensive players is a bad idea when you have debt, but dropping your revenue that much is also a bad idea, I would prefer to spend 50 million and be in the same debt as not spending it but earn 50 million less revenue because I suck.

Barcelona needs to find that right balance where they are spending just enough, but earning more than that from the wins so that they would be making a profit. Not an easy thing to do, but quite possible.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 23, 2022, 09:07:00 PM
I feel that we need to move on from discussing about Mbappe and discuss the odds of PSG new coach, because there’s a good chance that Zidane could take over at the end moment. Also is anyone wagering on this if yes what are the best odds you seen so far, and while initially I thought that Zidane wouldn’t come now I feel that he may just make a u turn and sign up for PSG.
They already got one, Galtier. There is absolutely no logic behind it, I still do not understand why they would do such a thing, it is a poor decision and they are making a mistake, but they still did it. They are getting Galtier so that they could say they fired Pochettino who has failed to win UCL, and all they are doing right now is saying to fans "look we have a new manager, it is different this time!" and nothing more.

I would have gotten Zidane if I could, PSG really needed something like that, or a better one who knows, they have deep pockets. No idea why they went with Galtier, but there is no more discussions about it, it is set to be done in 1.5 weeks from now give or take when this year's contracts are officially over.

[$3,000]Stake's Favorite Series: Stranger Things |Video Poker

This has to be one of my favorite shows recently too and the crazy thing is I did not even think to watch it for so long,,, thinking it was a kids film! Well yes it has kids like half my age but the writing is pretty cool and adultish. And very refreshing to see a film without all the nudity on Netflix. I have nothing against it of course but sometimes you feel like netflix puts nudity in everything just cos!

They should make a slots quest themed on Stranger Things and the Demogorgon  Grin
I mean it "is" a kids show as well, if you consider kids could follow it up, but not like 5 year old cartoon age, I mean like maybe 12-13? They could follow up what's going on right? Just because there are kids on the show doesn't mean that it should be appealing to the kids.

Look at marvel right now, they are trying to actually turn the demography back to reset again, when first Iron Man movie came out, we weren't that old, it was like 14 years ago or so, and now we are older, they can't keep making movies for 30-40+ year old people, hence why the Disney plus shows with kids in it, but we still watch it too. Same logic for stranger things, and damn good idea to put them into the slots, definitely a way to get attention of the fans who are also gamblers.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 22, 2022, 08:35:25 PM
It's true what you said, some countries may still keep their secret weapons for the finals of this World Cup. I think they will present a surprise later, because what I have seen so far is that there is no country with high determination. Almost all of those who qualify for the finals I can say are almost evenly matched in terms of strength.
I think most teams do not care about the nations league at all, they do not care about the results they would get from there. It is a league where it was offered to all teams, and they have to act as if they enjoy participating, because they can't just decline it, would have bad results if they did.

So, they just go there, appear, appease fifa and uefa or whatever, and then they just leave. World Cup is not like that, it is the biggest cup, hell bigger than UCL or anything else, that is the most viewed biggest cup in the entire world in any sport, much bigger than super bowl for example. Hence, winning that is a big proud moment for any team that wins it.
1647  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: June 22, 2022, 03:26:05 PM
The thing that makes us uncomfortable when we want to invite friends or family investments in cryptocurrencies are too many scam projects, strict regulations must be made to prevent anyone to make cryptocurrencies from becoming a scammer, for example providing large amounts of money so as to reduce the number of scam projects.
What makes me uncomfortable when I invite them is the loss, nothing else. I warn them about it, but it is still a bad feeling, like right now there is one person who bought at 40k, and asked me before hand and I said to be careful but could be profitable, and now I am feeling guilty about it even though they do not mind and even consider buying another batch.

Scammers however are a thing to be worried about because the people we help could end up doing their own thing for a bigger gain, and could end up at the wrong hands and lose a ton of money. I do not know why they do that, but there are plenty of people who do that and it is a very risky thing.
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: June 22, 2022, 07:21:03 AM
Soon is a short period of time. It can be a few days but I think that is still not enough to be able to reach bnb that high but I believe that bnb can reach that amount even if btc didn't hit 100k because bnb is a useful coin. It has different use cases which surely can drive a demand on its own without needing to depend on other coins. The answer to your question can be optional or it depends on you.

If you use binance exchange regularly then having bnb can be beneficial and also if you are an investor that likes to diversify your funds and there are no other good options left, bnb can be a nice addition on your portfolio since it was also a top coin.
That is almost all of my affiliates are doing right now. I have a few of them, actually I have dozens of them but 90% of them do not use that account probably, they probably switched to another. But the ones that stayed and a few that really uses it, does bring in a bit of a profit. There, you can see what they are using bnb or something else and they do prefer bnb more than anything else.

In the end, BNB could be used for many things, and if I look back the past 2 years, I have to say the most I used BNB is probably spending gas fee on BEP20 moves, because I did a ton of transactions in that chain and had to pay a ton of fees for that and even with that in mind, it was probably less than 5-10 eth gas fee at peak times.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 21, 2022, 12:44:48 PM
Investing in SOL is very high risk right now. Have you researched the situation at SOLlend? The entire chain is about to implode. I think it's much safer to invest in new projects during this downturn. Projects that recently launched, like CNDL, won't have a lot of bagholders waiting to dump at the sign of any profit so that they can get out of the market, like you will see with other coins.
That is the whole reason why SOL will eventually crash by the looks of it. SOL literally allowed one guy to have so much money via lending that he could liquidate it right now if he wants to, and not only it will cause it to crash and go down in price, but it will also cause the network to get clogged, and it will not be movable for a while, probably going to get frozen again until fixed to get better.

This type of stuff happens in sol a lot, it would be terrible if it goes on any longer. New stuff during bear market makes no sense to me as well, those are just good things on bad times, wait for the good times and even bad things go up.
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Food for Thought!!! (Bear Market Special) on: June 21, 2022, 11:09:30 AM
There are a lot of panic sellers now and it seems majority are selling below their buying price driving the price even lower. This is a difficult situation for holders for sure because it takes a great deal of effort to be calm in this period. However, those who have long term goal in mind won't worry so much about this dip, only short term investors can't stand it.

To me, 2 years is not such a long time to wait, compare to early btc investors who have been holding btc since 10, 8, 6.... years back and still holding strong. The problem is lack of patience.

This is the period when the popular saying "i believe btc will raise to surpass previous ath" is put to test. I mean since we all know this and history has also shown it to us anytime btc dip what happened next then why people panic so much like btc end has come!
I do have patience and I can wait for sure, but the idea that we will have to wait years, when it was such a close period to buy and hold and profit, right now it feels like we are years away from that does upset me a bit. In the end we are going to profit for sure, and that is why I am feeling fine, but that doesn't change the fact that I have been involved with crypto in much better periods as well and obviously I love those periods a lot more.

This is why I prefer that we would be in a bull run a lot sooner, keep going down doesn't mean I will make a loss, but it means that I would be sad and I would rather see it 100k+ obviously, that is a lot better.
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC & ETH Trends for the week on: June 21, 2022, 09:24:55 AM
Ethereum can also be a determinant of the movement of other altcoins, because some are paired with Ethereum,
let alone many ecosystems on Ethereum, so it's natural that Ethereum goes down, Altcoins also go down,
yes and it could be with Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the king of all coins
Paired with ethereum is one thing for the trading, but also there are a ton of projects which uses ERC20 network based on ethereum itself. This is the biggest reason why etheruem going up could impact those tokens. I mean if it's tied to ethereum then when ethereum goes up, all the things on its network should be going up as well.

This is why DeFi world made it so much better and great at that level, it was something that was wonderful for a whole ecosystem and not just one coin or token. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and I believe that we should probably be looking at ethereum as a big whole system and not just one coin.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 20, 2022, 08:58:23 PM
As the Lakers rumors start to heat up, the latest nonsense is that they're going to do a sign and trade to acquire Bradley Beal.  I don't know how on earth they could pull this off with the salary cap and saying they're going to keep Russell Westbrook, but for some reason they seem to think it's a possibility.  Personally I think they should be targeting Demar Derozan, but he actually wants to be a Laker so maybe they figure they'll be able to get him down the road or something...  Funny to see crazy rumors already about the Lakers.
They need to trade Westbrook if they want to sign another star player.
Westbrook has the biggest salary in the team but he is the most inconsistent, so what's the reason of keeping him?

https://www.espn.ph/nba/team/roster/_/name/lal/sort/salary/dir/desc/los-angeles-lakers

I think they need an attacker, DeRozan should be a good fit with the Lakers if they will allow him to play his game.
Trading wouldn't be enough. I mean if they trade westbrook and get someone like wall, then they will have another contract clogging it up. Plus AD doesn't seem like the type of player who will help them neither, I personally believe that he gets injured a lot, and when he comes back he doesn't really play that well until he finds his shots.

This is going to be a terrible year for them again, they will not be playing well at all. I guess everyone will hate it, but rebuilding process needs to start, get some picks for trading away westbrook and AD, get bad contracts, suck for a few years, and then use those assets to get a better player and repeat the 2020 championship the same way.
1653  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: India resells Russian oil to the European Union. on: June 20, 2022, 03:44:15 PM
PS I don't blame India for anything. I can only express my personal opinion about the moral side of this or that act, to which I have every right. Like India, make decisions and explain your attitude to the problem. I just said that such a position could someday play a cruel joke on India. A passive or neutral position is, for example, when a bully beats a girl, and you are a healthy man, walk by and say - that's their business, I'm not alone, and give the bully a stone in his hand, because it turns out that the bully is your business partner. It's just that India is setting a very bad precedent. And when trouble happens to India, everyone will say - yes, this is a completely different problem, and why we will strain and suffer because of India or its problems. Although I sincerely wish that everything is fine in India and that there are no misfortunes, since I have a different attitude to other people's problems and tragedies ...
Let me remind you that Ukraine from the beginning of the operation and still carries out the transit of Russian gas through its territory to Europe and receives money from Gazprom for this. Don't you think it's too hypocritical to blame others for what you do yourself?
I did not know this, that sounds like a very weird situation. I mean what you are saying is that Russia gets rich from gas sales, and Ukraine is helping them get those sales and earn some profit from their profit as well, and at the same time Russia is sending missiles to them and bombing their nations?

How does that work? Like if you give me enough money I will ignore the bombs you are sending my way? Or like if my profits are up then I do not care if my workers died from a Russian soldiers gun? I do not know the logic behind this, I do not have any data to go on with, all I know is what you said, I do not know if what you said is true or not neither, but I really hope it is not true.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 19, 2022, 09:58:59 PM
Ronaldo has shown an impressive performance in his first season with Manchester United, so it seems that there is no reason for Ronaldo to leave Manchester United in the near future, Manchester poor performance did make Ronaldo disappointed but I think with the arrival of Ten Hag now Ronaldo would hope that if manchester united can bounce back next season and he still hopes to be a part of the manchester resurrection , I think ronaldo love for manchester is quite big so far and I'm sure he will not leave manchester just because of manchester have poor performance this season, So it looks like the possibility of moving to Rome is just an issue and without any good reason.
I think the gossip came from the fact that Ronaldo really hated playing for Ole, the "tactics" he would give was subpar compared to all the other managers Ronaldo played for, let's remember that this guy played for Sir Alex Ferguson when he first played, and Mourinho and Zidane during Real Madrid years, so finding a good manager is paramount to keep Ronaldo in your club.

Right now, United got someone that is maybe not amazing in name, because he is not as famous as some other coaches, but he is definitely playing with a well adjusted and proven system. This means Ronaldo may stay of course, but if he sees that this manager is also subpar, he may request an out for sure.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2022, 09:38:28 PM
I don't think it's an important problem because when Madrid have a lot of professional players into the club it will make this club very strong and of course it will make it difficult for opponents to try to break into Madrid's defense, it's just that it depends on Madrid being able to add players with spend a lot of money or not.
Every football player is a professional player, but maybe you mean a top player who has good qualities. The quality of the team depends on the composition of the players, if in a club there are enough quality players then surely they have a good performance to win the game. In addition, the coach's strategy will be very useful regardless of the quality of the players.

Because Real Madrid is one of the best in the world, it is their obligation to have great players every season so that they can maintain their reputation as top tips. They can afford some expensive players because they have the money, it puts them ahead of any team.
This is basically Real trying to always one upping anyone who tries to beat them. They are the most famous team for getting the most expensive and best players in the world, which they lost the title to PSG these days to be fair. However, when they are doing transfers, they either do a "what we need for that position" transfers, or they just make Los galacticos transfers which they rarely do these days to be fair.

Mbappe would have been one but PSG made sure that didn't happen. I am guessing that they won't do any other big attempts this year and I agree that their "professional" players are already good, so one midfield would be more than enough for them.
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT's are a bigger scam than LUNA/UST on: June 18, 2022, 12:16:41 PM
As a point of view and with negative arguments, I am personally very skeptical of the hype the NFT is presenting, but having a product deliver value is not just in terms of profits and the way it is sold. What we use them for is not an intervention from the creator. Besides its undeniably real-life applications, I'm not talking about the products that are happening in the space right now because, for the most part, they're just trend-following hype and lack of reality. However, it is necessary to look at it from many directions rather than a one-way assessment.
It is "a bit" about the creator. If the creator creates NFT collection with some utility in place, then it would be used for something, if not then it won't. Like for example look at Axie Infinity, those monsters that you buy? All of them are NFT's and that means we are talking about a game that is attached to NFT.

It was horrible placed, because it allows people to have 10 billion Axie eventually, in theory at least, but that means the more you have it, the less it will be valued, and that is why it was always going go down. But the idea stands, if you can build a system where NFT has some utility that people would love to use, then it would be a great deal and people would still buy it even in this market, depends on the utility.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Several reasons explaining the Crypto Price Crash (without BS) on: June 17, 2022, 04:11:17 PM
I think you are the most detailed poster in this forum, am saying this base on every other post of yours I have come across.
That being said, you are absolutely right, why not invest that disposable income in something that will bring great value in years to come than spend it on things that will lose value the next day or so.
Despite having the ability to form our opinion as humans, we can also get ideas from others' opinions too.
Investment is all about being smart and setting some boundaries so you don't end up losing it all because of being overwhelmed. You have really made a valid point.
I am not entirely sure if "disposable" income is as disposable as you may think. In this day and age, we are living in a world where crypto is making things a bit more volatile than it has to be. Look at all the other things people can do with their money, and realize that it is not as great as you may imagine.

For example, if you bought 100 shirts and sold it on a concert, you would have made a lot more money right? Business is still the king, you are not going to start off with 100 bucks or 10k bucks whatever and become a billionaire via crypto, but business ideas makes that possible. Crypto is and will always be great for long term investment option, but the volatility makes it questionable.
1658  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 17, 2022, 07:08:21 AM
$8000 is a total capitulation just what we saw in 2018 I guess, not gonna wait on that but it's a possibility when there are no strong support. By the way, the 200 weekly EMA was respected already and might be good relief rally after that but it will be possible to test the 300 weekly EMA since historically it hits on 2018 and the 2020 COVID crash.
I agree that it is definitely not a price that we would probably see, it is a very rare situation for bitcoin to drop nearly 90%, not that it never happened but even 2018 wasn't like that. I believe it would probably stop at around 20k, anywhere around of course, so it could definitely be 17-18 at the bottom, but will stay around 20k and after that it should probably stay at around those levels and wouldn't really be a big problem.

I am hoping that there should be some sort of recovery process, which I am guessing wouldn't be something that would happen quickly, it may take a while before we get there, probably at least Q4, but I bet it will happen.
1659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 17, 2022, 04:51:51 AM
some traders do not like the use of stop loss. they are oriented toward trading or a long-term investment. when they buy, they immediately sell within a specific target price. when the dump happens, we have to be calm, and not worry because everything will come back again. but in the selection of certain assets. this will change the plan from trading to long-term investment.

however, stopping losses helps traders to avoid bigger losses. once the asset is safe, we can buy back the asset at a lower price in the hope that the pump will return the capital.
To be honest, the current situation requires a good analysis to keep our assets at a stable value. The mind can panic when market conditions are chaotic.
The long term people may not like it, but also very short term ones do not like it neither. Like for example if your aim is a quick 5 minute trade, buy and sell right away hoping you would make a profit, which usually deals with leverage trading since only then you could make a good profit, but if you do 50 of these a day on spot then you could still make a profit, then you may not like stop loss neither.

This is why stop loss is for people who would like to hold between 24+ hours to 6 months, anyone who wants to hold between those periods could use it, aside from that there will be absolutely nobody that could make you that kind of profit.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA GO TO...? on: June 17, 2022, 04:26:58 AM
Solana is a coin that I recommend to buy in a bear market situation like now. Because Solana is a potential coin that is in the top 10, it means that Solana's demand is very high. Solana can have high demand, this is because Solana has an active development team to update the Solana network. That way Solana can be useful for the crypto community who need a good network to make transactions. So there's no need to wait until it drops to $20 to buy Solana, even if we know that the 2021 Solana manages to hit $260, we can buy the Solana at its current price.
I would do absolutely opposite of that. Whenever there is a bear market, coins from the bull run all go down together, but some of them go down to never recover again, and they fail to matter during the next bull run. I remember plenty of top 10 coins that ended up not mattering at all, I do not see how this could be any different neither.

This doesn't mean that we shouldn't do it at all, it just means that we should be staying away from it as much as possible. This of course is a very dangerous thing, because if you invest into SOL right now, that means you are accepting to buy something that is centralized, and the team can stop it at any moment like they did before.
