Ok, I'm seeing something strange re the last two payouts and I wonder if anyone else is seeing the same. Looking at my payout address I see the last two payouts in my wallet are still at 0 confirmations after 6 and 3 hours respectively.
Are we getting the cold shoulder from the network re our transactions (unlikely I'd think) or is my wallet app out of sync (mycellium)?
Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this.
Keep calm and mine on! LLLLCK

Well a bit OT but if -ck and kano-san will indulge us a bit of bandwidth... As with any complicated system that is worthy of study, take it small easy pieces at a time. For instance, beside a breakfast dish or mystical vapor, what exactly is a hash? How is it calculated? Once you have a better understanding of that, then add to it. Keep adding small increments until a bigger picture starts to form in your mind. Then come back here and ask deeper questions when you hit a wall! Now let's crack a block already. Pretty soon we're going to start feeling like all our mojo nonsense is actually that, just nonsense... no fun in that, eh?

Though, due to a bug in satoshi's original code ... it's done every 2016 but based on 2015 End case bug. Aw man, I knew that and forgot... see folks, kano-san is on the case making sure we got it right. Have I mentioned I love this place? Well I do! Now let's get back to block popping popcorn!

Just looked over at Slush's...they've only solved one block in like 11 hours...I'm not worried.
So far i think 100PH has left the network in last 12 hours, look at the block rates. I think 40-50PH from Ant and 40-50PH from F2. Guess they don't want the backlash from Mike's Hearns letter, so they can say who us? we don't control the network. So we're at 700B network hashrate and almost 12 minutes between blocks. How long before the network adjusts speed? Please help me understand short term difficulty adjustments. Every 2016 blocks the difficulty will be adjusted based on the average time per block during the last 2016. Since the wanted time per block is 10 minutes, 2016x10min/60/24 gives 14 days, or 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks (2016 blocks actually but close to the ideal 2 weeks) the difficulty is adjusted proportionately based on wanted versus actual time per block. There is no shorter time frame in which difficulty is adjusted. Hope that helps! I love this math stuff, warms the cockles of my engineering heart! Interesting that the year is now currently the same as difficulty block set size. Coincidence or...?

Mike Hearns? Like who? Mike Hunt is more like it! I read somewhere once, "Beware the false prophets" and as they say opinions are like, well, you know... Everyone's got one and they all think their's don't stink. Well, it does, mr. Hunt, so go take your circus sideshow somewhere else. We are the kano ckpool faithful, we believe in what we and our sysops are doing, and will keep on keeping on! Keep calm and mine on, as they say. Lastly, as I head to bed tonight i say it's time to crack a triple block run before I wake up tomorrow morning. Only right, right? LLLLCK - Long live LL Cool K or Long live LL ck, works both ways!

Correct you are, just woke up to see yet another Double Block Party!! I'll send some kano ckpool mojo over to help the reddit to keep the good times rollin', and more hash coming as soon as I get the s7 controller in. Love this place!

Since I have mined since the start of the pool, I have a reward in every block. Thus I also have the Pool hash rate shown for every (valid) block on the Rewards page Comma separated, lf (not crlf) Block,Block UTC,Miner Reward,N Diff,N Range,Pool N Avg http://kano.is/kblocks.txtAwesome, so the pool hash rate at block 23 was 1.31PH. As I type this the pool hash rate is 9.9PH, 7.56 times larger. The network difficulty at block 23 was 39,603,666,252. As I type this the network difficulty is 113,354,299,801, 2.86 times larger. Is there a non-linear increase in how hard it is to find a share higher than value X? If not, then it looks like the first streak was much more impressive. It would appear to be linear, as far as my studies of all this is leading me. Fascinating all this!

Still waiting on getting a replacement controller for my S7 that's just sitting in the corner As soon as I get her running again more hash coming to the pool! Until then, my S5 and the chicken dance will have to do...! Crack that block!

I take it difficulty just went up. Checked the blocks page and the shares % went down a little from last I looked. Not all the way down like we want, tho! Let's get a block popped at the new diff, mojo activate! Edit-ah, now at a little over 113G, a mere dawdle!

BLOCK-A-LICIOUS!!
More please...

|

Always nice to wake up to a MULTI-BLOCK NIGHT PARTY!
The other pools must be sick when they see the cumulative %'s we've been getting lately, glad to be a (small) part of it. Let's keep the blocks popping...!
|
|
|
Popcorn! How long can this go on? Kano ckpool will single handedly increase the difficulty at this rate... Love it!

Friggin' keyboard tough-guys; I hate cowardly, sniveling little brats who talk big when hiding behind their computer screens but wouldn't dare to even look you in the eye if you ever met in 3D.
Stupid punks - Steve Martin said it best years ago, "People like that should be taken out and maimed."
Bravo to you, Jonny, for doing the bitcoin community right in how you're running your pool. You are to be commended for that.

Bah, has nothing to do with luck, probability, statistics, or law of independent events. It's kano-san's secret code in the pool software that does it! Geeze!

Who hates mondays? POPCORN!

Block and roll hoochie koo, ddos muthahs light my fuse...

Always nice to see multiple blocks confirming their way up to matured pay out status!
I love this place! Now back to beer-thirty time...

I noticed that Jan 8 ( the 7 block day) was Shirley Bassey's birthday. Didn't she sing Goldfinger in the Bond movie? Kano... The man with the Midas touch...
I like how you think, wolf. Blocks so much ddos lamers, now go home and cry to mommy!

If you flip a coin and get tails 10 times in a row, what are the odds of getting tails on the next flip? The answer is 50%. The exact same as it was on each of the previous 10 coin flips. What if you eat chicken before the 11th flip? Coin lands on its edge and you can read minds...
