Is Tomatocage even alive to moderate this thread anymore? He hasn't even logged in since the 21st October.

The sad thing is things like this will continue to escalate over the premise of 'protection'. At this point in time, until a younger generation inevitably inherit power that knows these privacy invasions do no good, old men who believe the internet is the root of all evil will continue to try and pull moves like this to watch the public.

Also, anyone considering this to be a good thing to 'stop acts of terrorism', take a look at this article as to how much it helps out.

1663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for cold storage? on: October 30, 2015, 05:39:22 PM
Recently I set up cold storage for my funds. What I did was I set up a spare Raspberry Pi and I installed Electrum onto it which acted as the storage its self.
Since I have the addresses on my main PC to send the funds to, I don't intend to turn on that Raspberry Pi until I need the funds out of that wallet.
1664  Economy / Services / Re: ★Bitvest.io★ Banner Ad Design Contest on: October 30, 2015, 04:16:07 PM
I made two 728x90 versions, one without the background and one with the background of the site. If needed I can create some in 468x60.
Are the banners allowed to be animated?
1665  Economy / Reputation / Re: Codishmumu (bad) reputation thread. on: October 30, 2015, 03:09:47 PM
I haven't done anything that is against the rules
Oh and please stop repeatedly shitposting, trolling, necrobumping five year old threads, making off topic posts and spam advertising your crappy wares everywhere you can. These are all banbable offensess that you have continued to do.
cough

except taking pictures for trust, but that was a mistake.

People make those sometimes.
Asking for trust isn't against the rules, though it is severely frowned upon by the community. You wouldn't get banned for that.

I'm going to stop here as it seems that you refuse to leave your fantastic little world. Good luck in the future.
1666  Economy / Reputation / Re: Codishmumu (bad) reputation thread. on: October 30, 2015, 03:04:27 PM
I do what I want, so I won't read it. I'm nice to everyone.
In that case, have fun with your ban.
1667  Economy / Reputation / Re: Codishmumu (bad) reputation thread. on: October 30, 2015, 02:59:53 PM
I only read this part, because I'm sure the rest is probably just trash talking.
I suggest you read the entire post; hilariousandco says some important things which you need to read if you want to stay here.
1668  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: October 30, 2015, 02:43:38 AM
Ok...

If I would change the faucetbox code to just send the referral if my two cpatchas (I implemented a second) were solved, where should I do this change?

I mean...

I would like to break the "send reward" function if the second captcha is not solved also. I want to show that error message: "Missing captcha". (or something like this)
Put any information you need for your captcha to be confirmed, then this code on line 2137:
Code:
if (array_key_exists('address', $_POST)) {
     $data['captcha2_valid'] =  $return_string_of_captcha; //The string which verifies if your captcha was solved correctly (must be boolean, true or false)
}
Then, at line 2188 (underneath $data['captcha_valid'] &&), put this line:
Code:
$data['captcha2_valid'] &&

If your second captcha was returned false, it will run exactly the same code as if the first was solved incorrectly. Please correct me if I am wrong Kazuldur.

Hihi, how are you? I haven't seen you post in so long. =^_____^=
I am fine thank you. I've mainly been posting in Micro Earnings/Service Announcements, so I doubt you will have really seen me (I get the impression you only really spend time in Off Topic and similar boards).

I just feel like it is an unneeded forum, and nice people getting harassed would probably agree with me about that.
I can see what you mean, though if you end up in that board you have almost definitely done something wrong. Usually most conflicts which land 'nice' people in that board can be solved with communication and time.
The section should (and will) stay; it's good to discuss points of view before judging people based on things they have done sometimes. Without this board, it would be a lot more difficult and a lot worse things could happen than the occasional person with good intentions getting talked shit about.
1670  Other / Meta / Re: End the negative appearance of Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk. on: October 29, 2015, 04:12:41 PM
I just want that forum gone because people are getting harassed.
That's a shame, because it will never happen.
I have had one scam accusation made about me (which I later made right with all parties) when I first started for not following up on an auction. Don't be a tard on the forum or try to trick/deceive people and you won't get a thread made about you, and won't be 'harassed'.
The Scam Accusation forum serves a good purpose for threads like this, where it would have been impossible to do these sorts of discussions using someone's trust page.
1671  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: October 29, 2015, 03:43:32 PM
Sometime i really thing faucetbox is a scam and dont gives u the Coins exactly like claimed.
Whether a faucet doesn't pay out what it advertised isn't at fault of FaucetBox, please don't try to make it out to be.
1672  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 29, 2015, 02:27:24 AM
How about now? :O
Yeah, that seems to be fine. Just as long as the problem is not in plain text that a bot can just scrape you should be fine.
1673  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 29, 2015, 02:17:47 AM
Check out my faucet now, I'm using a image instead of text. Is that better?
If your faucet is bit-essence.com, I get a 403 Forbidden error trying to access.
1674  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinToPayPalExchange.com - Bitcoin to PayPal Exchange on: October 29, 2015, 12:23:25 AM
And why should we trust you when you're brand new, using a reversible payment source and your minimum transaction is 0.5BTC?

Leaving a preliminary neg trust, contact me if you have good enough proof for me to remove it.
1675  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 28, 2015, 10:52:07 PM
Just saying, if you're displaying the maths problems in plain text it is very easy for bots to get around. There's a reason that captchas are images of text rather than the plain words, similar to this. While bots can read images, it makes their life a lot harder if they are.
1676  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [TUTORIAL] Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 28, 2015, 05:56:04 PM
Sorry... I said a miisleading thing.

I am thinking about create the timer and the enable button fuction in PHP to replace javascript functions into the HTML, for example.
I can see where you're coming from, but you cannot create things like timers in PHP. Since PHP is a server side language, it loads only once when the page first loads. If you would want to make a timer in PHP, you would have to somehow delay the loading of the page entirely.

You could perhaps add some sort of verification on the PHP submit if you wanted. For example, create a PHP session variable of the time before the form, then compare it to the time after the submission of the form to be sure that it is at least your timer's length between asking for both pages.
Something like this maybe:
Code:
<?php
//Before submission
$_SESSION['preSubmissionTime'] = time();

//After submission
//Captcha checks here
if((time()-$_SESSION['preSubmissionTime']) >= 5){ //Assuming your timer is 5 seconds long
     //Pay the user
}else{
     die(
'You\'re submitting too fast');
}
?>

If you're going to do something like this though, I would suggest hiding the captcha as well as the claim button with the timer. This way, the user cannot solve the captcha and press enter before the claim button has been enabled, posting the form and making themselves look like a bot/a user cheating the system. I'm not sure how the above code would work in practice, though if you can see the logic behind it you could likely add it in yourself.
1677  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [TUTORIAL] Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 28, 2015, 04:57:42 PM
A button generated by PHP code should solve this problem. But the faucetbox script is a mix of PHP and HTML unfortunately.
A button generated by PHP? How do you plan to get this to work without using any HTML?
1678  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: October 28, 2015, 03:28:30 PM
For GetIPIntel, it isn't right. A value of "1" means they're on a proxy. You're literally blocking all the good users and letting the bad users in.
Oops, sorry about that. I must've made a mistake in my logic or something similar. I've amended the post, thank you.

I also wouldn't recommend displaying "Something has gone wrong with GetIPIntel and/or you have been blocked. Sorry" because you're telling the person which proxy detection website you're using, which may help them bypass proxy bans.
That was more to help those with little knowledge of what is going on an idea of what happens, but yes you're right. Though, I don't see much of a way they could get around GetIPIntel unless they turn off their proxy.

Friends...

If I want to implement a second simple captcha on my faucet where on the code should I do the changes to to make my second captcha mandatory too?

I say... If you don't solve the second captcha too you will receive that default message "missing captcha" (or something like this).

The second captcha should be validated before finishing the submit actions (the same way as works the default captcha in the faucetbox script).

could you help me with this question?
Do you want to implement two of the same captcha or two different providers?

What option I should use?

Case: sensitive or insensitive.

Upon uploading the file htaccess.txt
Sensitive, and it should be called .htaccess, not htaccess.txt.
