1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 11:46:57 PM
After watching Chelsea's last few matches, I think they are quite weak on the counterattack. If the opponent attacks, Chelsea cannot counterattack quickly. And so even if the opponent is not strong, we don't get a better performance than Chelsea. The Chelsea boss should change his match tactics. And Chelsea management should prepare decent funds. They need to strengthen their squad if they want to do well next season. Unless the squad is strong, we will see erratic performances from the Chelsea team next season.

I think Chelsea is too big for Graham Potter to managed, he isn't a big club manager. I was of the opinion of we giving him time but from what I have seen since we had the reinforcement we had in the January transfer window, I think Graham Potter is clueless and just playing with the club. He isn't ready to make decisions that can win games, we aren't a mid table team that should settled for draws, we're bigger than that and the worst is when we're losing or drawing, it seems Graham Potter is okay with such results and that's not the mentally of a manager that should be managing a top club like Chelsea.

I still don't understand why Kai Havertz is still been used as our striker when we have players like Fofana and Aubameyang in the squad. His team selection are always off except for the game against West Ham that he put in a strong attack but still we had Havertz in the team that has little or no contribution to the game. Hopefully he learnt from the mistake he made of playing cucullera when we had Ben chilwel fit. He killed that game by not passing to Mudryk.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 11:33:34 PM
But we'll see if Ronaldo will also do the same against Al-Taawoun.
But it's not wrong for those who criticize Ronaldo, because Al-Nassr has provided enough facilities for Ronaldo, and Ronaldo certainly needs to make a big contribution to Al-Nassr. At least it can bring Al-Nassr to win the Pro League.

It doesn't matter if Ronaldo does the same against Al- Taawoun or not, that doesn't take away the fact of Ronaldo's greatness. Already Al Nassr has a very good record against Al- Taawoun as they have defeated them more than they have lost in their last 5 games so I don't see a reason why Al Nassr won't win that game. The Ronaldo impact has put Al Nassr at the top of the table already and it's going to end that way as Ronaldo will be helping Al Nassr get their very first league title in a long time.

Criticism aren't new to Ronaldo as they're things he is used to and that's what made him this popular. What will surprise me is if Ronaldo was somehow abel to end the season with 20+ goals. I would had said 10 but he already has closed to that number already and I believe he's about to pick up goal scoring form.
1703  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wike not supporting Atiku on: February 12, 2023, 09:23:11 AM
And why be say wike no support Peter obi based on the issues en get with Atiku, why en choose to support Tinubu?

If you be politicians who you go support when be say you know when Peter obi win, Him go carry everybody along provided you go for work for am and dey accountable to am but if Tinubu win na people wey work for am him go carry along. Wike self fit dey work openly with am but get underground package with Peter obi since the man dun visit am well well in the past months.

You see this politicians, no dey trust anything them talk abi no be d same wike wey say even though him lose to Atiku say na the interest of the party him go work for. Sha if Wike no work with Atiku, I no go blame am because Atiku dey sideline Wike well well while others dey recognize him force for the south south.

Atiku dey fuck up, him no wan give Wike wetin Wike dey fight for and one of them na for them to zone the party chairman to dis side make everything no dey the north since dey no gree give south the presidency ticket. Wike na our own and na fight wey dey benefit him people him dey always fight for even though some personal interest dey always dey inside.
1704  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerians are the cause our problem on: February 12, 2023, 07:49:09 AM
Although I no agree with everything you talk but you see that title wey you put so say na Nigerians be the cause of our own problem, na the koko be dat. Nigerians no dey learn from history and now our biggest problem be dat. We dey elect people wey no understand how to govern a country. How the arms wey dey govern the country no go dey work together. How CBN go dey talk another thing and the government dey talk a different thing. How division go dey and we dey expect the country to dey move forward.

COVID no be Nigeria cause am but wat about the ASUU strike and other factors that frustrate the typical Nigeria youths. 2020 was Coronavirus/ASUU strike. Now 2023 na fuel scarcity. Asin how you go frustrate the country from head to toe, e no make sense alt all and make we no make a similar mistake come 2023 make we no vote party again instead make we dey vote individual excellence. I wish we fit abolish the party system and do individual campaign wey be say we go dey vote people and not party.

1707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: whether investing in bitcoin many lose on: February 11, 2023, 09:40:17 AM
I don't have much experience in crypto, and hopefully by joining this group I will get a lot of knowledge about crypto..
and i have little money and plan to buy bitcoin.
but is investing in bitcoin really safe or not? and do many lose from investing in bitcoin or not? I want to hear from all of you...

Firstly welcome to the forum, there's so much to learn and you shouldn't rush any of them. Take your time and make sure you understand properly what you're learning and not stopping halfway as that can be very dangerous. When it come to exchange to buy Bitcoin, we have centralized and decentralized ones. Personally I don't care where you buy your coin but make sure you're holding them in a decentralized wallets that gives you full control of your coins by issuing you your private keys. Bitcoin investing is actually safer than other investment out there as it gives you a chance to be incharge of your investment and not trusting some broker or centralized service providers to handle your portfolio for you.

As for the price fluctuations, that's what make the market very interesting and entertaining to follow. You can avoid all this by just been a holder in which you just buy and hold unto your coins but if you want to partake in the speculations of the price through trading, that too is safe if you understand what you're doing. If Bitcoin investment wasn't safe, it won't have gotten as big as it currently is and lasted more than a decade, so no need to be scared of the market.
1708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins the step to wealth. on: February 11, 2023, 08:51:04 AM
I asked a friend the Steps to wealth and he mentioned bitcoins. I have been in this forum for like three weeks now reading different topics from people, and I have learnt more in these weeks than I have known since. The same news about bitcoin value being low that is discouraging many people from it is the same news that has attracted me here.

There's no surprise there as anyone who invest some time into the forum can't never be the same as he was before he started participating in discussion on the forum. The forum is filled with so much wisdom but at the same time, you can get lots of rubbish over here there therefore it's left for you to take what benefits you while abandoning the rest. We have lots of users that only comes to write generic post just because their campaign demand that to get paid but we also have high intellectual users and just form their writing you'll noticed that and those are people you should be reading more of their write ups.

As for Bitcoin been a step to wealth, I see no lie in that. The rich and successful people invest in assets and Bitcoin is an asset. Bitcoin also is a rare commodity since it has limited supply and over the years, less supply will be available in the market and when you ask the rich they'll tell you to not just invest in in asset but rare ones that are bond to increase over the years due to their limited supply. Just buying and holding Bitcoin takes you a step closer to wealth than most investment opportunities made available to the common man.
1709  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal apologies for dataispower ban on: February 11, 2023, 08:20:21 AM
That is because most of the people who plagiarise do not know it is against forum law. They act like it is the regular classroom cheating where students copy each other and submit without getting caught for malpractice. But this place is different and people pay heavily for that when caught in the net.

In the first place people shouldn't be stealing others work intentionally as that's a dishonest act and anyone caught should be punished, it  doesn't matter which part of the world you're from and how things are been done over there but again I don't don't support the permanent banning of people on their first offends. A better punishment could be to disconnection the monetary privileges that the forum offers for some period of time and see how active the user still is. We have seen this happened before and some users who got this punishment has turned out to be better contributors of the forum.

The immediate banning only encourages the creation of alts by this users and it's unlikely they put much effort into that accounts since they have it at the back of their mind that they can be banned any moment their secret gets exposed. Anybody that gets banned and that account wasn't a useless account, I think they deserve a second chances. Take always their privileges but don't make them stay away from the forum. Personally I don't know what I'll do with myself if a mistakes gets made over here. Some just see this as a forum but to us this is more than that and it isn't just about the forum privilege but the connection and wonderful people this place has connected me with both home and abroad. If the users own up to his mistakes, he should be pardoned.
1710  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discrimination against bounty hunters on: February 11, 2023, 02:42:47 AM
The baffling thing is that the managers (mostly high rank members) who bring the work (bounty) received praises and merits but on the other hand, the participants (mostly low ranking members) who participates in the bounties are being regarded as a non serious members and money mongers. This is purely hypocrisy! If I may ask....

I understand your frustrations but do note that, you participating in bounty campaign won't give any merit and that's because your activities aren't contributing to the forum positively to receive merits. Now there's nothing wrong in participating in bounty but don't expect your posts to be highlighted with merits when they aren't worth it. What you're basically doing is just adding to the activity of the forum which the forum isn't against provided you aren't abusing such privilege. Now if you want to receive merits then you have to engage in real discussion where your contribution could be seen as helpful to others.

The managers you see with lots of merits didn't get that from launching bounties instead they got it from participating in on other forum activities so don't feel that they're been given a special treatment. If you noticed, if any of those managers misbehave they get punished. Without the trust worthy managers handling bounties today, the industry could have collapse due to scammers running away with rewards meant for hunters as we have seen in the past so those managers are needed to help purifier the section of the forum. When theymos (the forum) sees that there's no need for the section again, it'll be scrapped off the forum with just a click of a button and that decision will be respected by all.
1711  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Second space: The best way to hide your crypto assets from unauthorized users on: February 10, 2023, 11:59:04 PM
But if I should ask, when did a crypto app or an exchange app become something implicating for God's sake? Because it's quite a pity living in a country where everybody sees a young man living a comfortable life as a product of yahoo, which is ought not to be like that. But however, thanks O.P for this vital update, because with this now, many will tend to avoid the harass of most of these EFCC guys looking for who to arrest and charge huge bill.

Prevention is better than cure they say and they aren't lying, it's better you prevent all the wahala then to enter and start explaining to people dat also sees you as their clients and want to use every means they have to exploit you. Another thing you have to understand be say, most offenders this guys have caught started by claiming to be forex or crypto traders demselves before they got caught with other incriminating evidence and they confess so with you they'll be thinking the same even though your own fit be your pure hustle.

Also make we no think say this men never wise up and dem no know wetin be second spaces for fone dem but sha e dey help to avoid initial wahala as if dem dey in a rush, you be free man as dem no go see anything at all. The same wey wey dressing decently dey reduced the chances of been police harass but doesn't guarantee the elimination of it so will this idea the OP is passing across do. With all this strategy dem maybe man fit dey safe small lol. Also most Samsung get dis features too and na very correct features.
1712  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Our hospitas dy do our sick piple well or not? Wetin be your take? on: February 10, 2023, 11:51:30 PM
I no wan talk again, make una tell us una experience, why all these things dy happen for hospita and who we fit hold say nai be the cos, na government or the doctors... Make una chuk mouth...

Sometimes I no dey blame this doctors for the way dem dey do for this country, you see say Nigerians are very dishonest people and dey can take advantage of any situation without considering how e go affect the other person. I dey see situation when people abandoned their family members for hospital and now imagine in a situation when dey never pay doctors, who go come take care of those bills and how the doctors go take feed their family. We no get a better health insurance wey be say the government fit dey pay for every sick person and dey collect the money small small from their salary.

Something make we no dey too look outside dey think say foreigners own better because even dem no dey treat people if dem no get health insurance. I understand say some doctor own bad as na pure wickedness dem dey do. If dey see person for critical condition, atleast dem fir try stabilized the person before dem begin dey ask for bills to continue and no be dis one wey dem no go touch the person at all. And another thing wey dey worry me na when gun wound come and dem dey request police report abi wetin I no understand before dem fit operate the person. Na dat particular one dey vex me die.
1713  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria’s new monetary policy cannot stop vote-buying. Discuss. on: February 10, 2023, 11:42:36 PM
To understand am better. Make I ask, which currency wey PDAPC(PDP and APC) been use during their presidential primaries to take buy key electoral officials, delegate electors, voters? Na Naira or na dollar?

Anyways, I hope say una don see small reason too. We fit still discuss am. Make una shook mouth as e dey hot?

Una doh o

That was primaries and not a general election, the use of dollars no go work for general election as people no go gree accept am self. Nobody sabi how fake dollars or even sabi how the real ones dey so dem go believe say na fake currency dem dey give dem so that's if we think say na dollars dis people go fall back to use buy vote. I believe say this political dey work with banks already to hoard cash wey dem gi use in vite buying. The only thing this new policy do na to make am very difficult but e no make am impossible. Banks na thief and bank managers ready to work hand in hand with any politician wey go cut them better percentage.

No be story we dey hear say one governor dey withdraw millions from banks meanwhile dem dey claim say banks no get money to dispense. Okay abi you wan tell me say the like of Tinubu no go get access to any billions wey him wan received from the banks while giving dem a juicy percentage? Abi we dey forget say politicians get shares dem fir must of this banks and dem gi wan dey on their good side incase of anything. The policy no go stop anything as agents for still dey do electronical transfer to use buy the vote without it been linked to the politician.
1714  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Dear Nigerian youths dont let politicians use you as a tool for violence on: February 10, 2023, 11:28:24 PM
Please i urge my fellow youths to refrain from letting any politician take advantage of us and we should turn out in large numbers on election days to cast our votes for the betterment of this country. As we all pray for free and fair election may we all witness it. Amen

Na mumu dey carry weapons go fight another man battle when him pikin dem full around but dey inside house dey protect demselves. Before you fight for anybody make you ask yourself where him own pikin dey and why him no dem come out to come carry the weapons demselves to fight for their pman or mumsy. I think our mumu dun too much and anybody that kills his fellow human being for this greedy men needs to be punished heavily. We supposed dun learn from our past mistakes and see say violence has never been an answer to anything.

Since wey we dey use the violence dey run the election, where him dun keep us so. Na so so mumu mumu leader dem wey we dey produced. This time around make we try something different and see if we fit get a positive result. Sha make I just believe say we dun wise up and we go consider our safety first before we begin to put our life on the line for this criminals dem that'll forget us immediately they enter that seat.

Specially welcomed my baby girl by name Davian.

Na this kind news dem I dey like hear especially as we dey new year period, like play like play we dem get a new cryptopreneur for our mist and I go like join other's welcome here into this life. 1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: February 10, 2023, 06:24:24 AM
Ronaldo's long and successful career in Europe made him seem like a great buy for Al Nassr. His recent performances have been dismal, and it's clear to understand why the club's administration is becoming frustrated with him. Ronaldo still has an opportunity to prove he was worth the exorbitant price tag, despite the fact that things aren't looking well at the moment. In any case, his knowledge and skill set make him one of the best football players in the world.

One thing I have learnt from my years of watching Ronaldo play is that, never underestimate his ability to turn things around. Even though Ronaldo doesn't give Al Nassr the title this seasons (which I doubt), that doesn't mean he can't do that the very next season. Al Nassr and the whole Saudi professional league has benefited from Ronaldo coming to this league. Al Nassr revenue has increased drastically since they signed Ronaldo. Match attendance, jersey sales etc has all increased. They shouldn't think Ronaldo alone can carry the whole squad as he previously does in other club that he has played in.

Ronaldo is now old and can only bring in the best he can like just as he scored four goals in the yesterday game. Those are the type of things he can do but it won't be happening in every game so the times he can't produce such performance then his teammates has to step up and deliver the club. If the work together, I believe they can get something positive from this season.  They're now top of the table and if the winning continues, they'll lift the trophy after nit been able the do that in the last few seasons.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current Topic: African Nations championship on: February 10, 2023, 06:06:37 AM
In this season, Algeria is playing well. Their defense and attack is very strong. Now Algeria and Senegal match is going on and it is about to end , though the match has finished and Algeria controlled the ball in the pitch. Algeria 0 - 0 Senegal. African teams in this time, they are trying their best in the football game space.

I think it was a shocking ending as Algeria was defeated by senegal and although the game ended in a penalty shootout and Algeria lost, still I don't blame them as penalty aren't the best well to judge a team's capabilities. It's a luck based exercise with few skills coming to play. A team could play better than yours in all aspects and another team can just be lucky with the penalty shootout. Big congratulations to Senegal though for winning the tournament and they do deserve it also congrats to Madagascar for taking third.

Senegal has just showed their dominance in Africa football by winning both continent's senior men competitions but I was quite surprised they didn't take this same spirit to the world cup stage to represent us properly. Now it's safe to say the best footballing nation in Africa is Senegal and it's a well deserved accomplishments. Let see what they'll do in the next AFCON coming up.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 10, 2023, 05:53:19 AM
Dortmund vs Chelsea is a good match. Chelsea have been performing badly I know but Dortmund has not been at their best this season. They are 3rd in the Bundesliga but they are not playing the football that they are capable of. It could be a interesting match up because Chelsea are looking for some success and when I have seen them play they have looked dangerous. I think they have been unlucky for most of their losses this season.

Chelsea now have the likes of Reece James and Chilwel back from injuries. Felix is also back from suspension so he should be available for this game. Let see how Chelsea perform against West Ham tomorrow to determine how ready they're for the champion league game, I understand this are two different tournaments but it could give us some idea on what we should be expecting from Chelsea in the game against Dortmund. I think Chelsea are the side under more pressure due to their January spending and they're out of all other cup competition meaning if they should depart from this as well, then the media will come for them and such negative attention could affect the rest of their season.

It's that time of the season when Graham Potter has to show the world that he's the right man for the Chelsea coaching job because if he gets his selection wrong this time around and plays someone like Havertz upfront when we have the new signings that are yet to be utilized like Fofana then he has to be joking as he doesn't understand his job. Even me that I'm not a manager understand that Havertz plays better as a second striker and not the main target.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2023, 05:42:03 AM
At the moment there is indeed some news about this MLS club making serious talk about Aubameyang and of course this is profitable.
He won't get many chances at Chelsea and we know that so forcing it will only torture him on the bench where in the end he will be in the same position as at Barcelona. with a move to LAFC in MLS it will bring him back to life at least he will still be popular there.

I won't recommend Aubameyang going to MLS, he doesn't have the ability to stay relevant if he goes over there unless he's ready to retire and that would be very disappointing considering how promising his career was just few months back. I still don't understand why he left Barcelona that he fitted in properly. Even though Barcelona were prioritizing Luwadusaksi over him, still he would had stayed and his competition with Luwadusaksi would had kept him relevant.

Him returning to the premier league was just like the same mistakes Ronaldo made returning back to the premier league. Both stars would had had a better career staying in the La Liga side, their style of football is less physical and direct and more entertaining to watch. I think Aubameyang should just stay at Chelsea and try to fight for his position until he gets a better offer probably form a top league in Europe and possible, he should return back to the La Liga to finish what he started over there.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 10, 2023, 05:26:07 AM
Chelsea have a pretty tempting odd over 2.00 for their victory against West Ham now. I can't hold myself off from betting on them this time.  Grin
I'm aware of the big risk at the same time of course. Because Chelsea are still not a team to be trusted much. They couldn't defeat Fulham home the last time as you know. But after all those point losses I guess they will start from a point to maintain a good form finally. This match is another opportunity for them to do so.

Even in other seasons when West Ham were a force in the premier league, Chelsea has always found a way to defeat them so I don't see that changing in this game on Saturday.  In the last five meeting between both clubs Chelsea has had the upper hand as it should be. They have won four times with their lost been a narrow one that the game should have ended in a draw but West Ham got the last goal in the 87th minute. Chelsea has been slowly picking up forms after the transfer window ended and with all the recruitment they got, it was understandable that the rebuild will take some few marches.

The good thing is that they haven't lost and they aren't doing that tomorrow. The match isn't going to be an easy one for Chelsea and I'll be surprised if it does but I believe Chelsea will go home with all three points. Chelsea will be having their full squad available tomorrow with just few exceptions that the team can perform brilliantly without so I predict a 3-1 scoreline in favor of Chelsea. Just hoping to see the new boys on the scoreboard.
