1721  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin price move up to 17k again in 2018 on: March 10, 2018, 06:11:31 AM
ofcourse yes. many crypto experts predict it will go 20k by the end of the year (or even more)
And also it's still the year for cryptocurrency, it's growing every day
We are just starting the year and there are a lot of possibilities ahead. I believe 17k is a possibility and it is not like a huge one considering where we were coming from anyway. We still have some resistances ahead of us, so one should still keep all those in mind but I believe in the possibility of seeing this value or probably a little more even before the end of 2018, but I guess time will end up proving us wrong or right since that is all we have.

17k sounds very reasonable. Bitcoin has shown sign of strength and of course we have broken some resistance already which will make the remaining upcoming ones to break if we keep go testing them. However, I am sure that there is a huge possibility to see this happen, so the predictions that anyone gives, should not be far from reality. 2018 is still very young, so a lot is possible.
1722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: March 10, 2018, 04:26:18 AM
Many people expect this year to reach $ 30,000. Hope Actually the bitcoin price is $ 50,000 by the end of this year. Currently just $ 9,372. If you buy it now will get a big profit after the topped $ 50,000 price and you will get $ 40,628. Cool

how can you speak so confidently ?
Because he is a soothsayer and can see the future Grin … It amuses me the rate at which some people will just jump into some baseless conclusion without anything to back it up which I believe there can be nothing to actually back that up anyway.

He could have just stopped by saying, buying now is a good thing since the market is oversold anyway, but concluding on the price at the end of 2018 which is even unrealistic with what he said, makes it all funny. I personally may not see bitcoin hitting 30k this year, but who knows? We cannot see the future and anything can change.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: March 09, 2018, 02:27:10 PM
Hey guys!
i need some new strategies
my bank: 0.5
share yours  Grin

You better create on your own so that you wont regret on followings peoples strategy when you do bust up your entire balance. 0.5 btc? since you don't mention on what coin you are using. Most of the times martingale is being used up when playing dice game.If you do ask about working and profitable strategy then don't mind on searching it out since that strategy doesn't exist at all. Dice game always matter on luck, using strategy or not if you are lucky then you will definitely win.The important thing here is that you should enjoy on playing without minding on making money. If you are scared to bust it all then better not to play gambling at all.
Creating his own or following others will still not guarantee him anything as he is bound to still lose everything anyway, depending on how he ends up placing his limit. One thing is that online gambling is even worst when it comes to strategies and the OP should know that it is all about luck and when 1 person is winning with the strategy, 99 others are failing badly. He should better keep his 0.5 whatever in his wallet and watch it grow.

Practically there is no strategy to playing dice and we can only be luck for a while before the house edge ends up catching up with you. Still, if we want to keep auto rolling, we can try out the martingale strategy which is very common, but that does not guarantee for us anything and in fact, with very long streaks of losses, all that we have will be gone within the twinkle of an eye.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 09, 2018, 10:58:11 AM
So far in my gambling career or involvement i didnt really come to a point on experiencing that "walk of shame" that you are mentioning here which i do believe that most gambling addicts do experience this on suffering too much consequences due to their bad decisions in life because of gambling.I have already picture it out and do see actual scenarios among to my friends where they are almost losing it all, money, family, assets because of gambling and i do put up in my mind that i wouldnt really reach that state no matter what which it is the reason why i do really have strong self control and management into my funds because im too afraid to face those consequences if i do a mistake.
I never did as well and the closest I ever ended up in such situation was even online when I thought I have gotten it right and then ended up losing everything.

I was at home but I only gave my wife that LOOK OF SHAME after she warned me. She even made matter worst by laughing at me throughout because I told her I found some strategy and once I am done with the house edge, we are going to be made, but I guess the house edge got done with me first.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: March 09, 2018, 06:58:44 AM
sometimes I gamble because of boredom or because I'm procrastinating on doing something that needs to get done.
But I also gamble fo entertainment.
I do get some enjoyment out of it because there is a thrill to betting when something is on the line and you have a chance to make some money.
No i don't lose my money just to escape all those things that is why i drink in the first place. Going to the casino and drinking and also gambling at the same time is a recipe for disaster wince you are eventually going to lose a lot of money.
That would have really been a terribly bad combination but since you have been able to deduce that already, good for you. The thing is that escaping worry with gambling will only add to it, most especially for someone who had the mindset of luck shining on them and for those who never imagined how much they could end up losing in gambling. From all those things that the OP mentioned, the last place such a person would ever want to go is a casino.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 09, 2018, 06:21:44 AM
It is forbidden to publicly advertise ICO. But if you make a repost not associated with the ICO, then it will not be banned
Therefore, many companies still spend bounty on facebook
Even if you make repost associated with the ICO, you will not be banned. I still make reposts and most of the pages of the ICOs are still operating on Facebook which makes me worried why only some are being banned. The problem is they cannot advertise anything using Facebook advert and some may get their page locked it reported or suspected of being scam. So far, some projects are still doing the Facebook campaign.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW ALT coin which is profitable on: March 08, 2018, 08:46:46 AM
While bitcoin storms, no alts will bring much profit. They will enter the market, but with such fluctuations, investors will come out of the alts either in fiat or bitcoin. Since the beginning of the year, the dominance of bitcoin has grown from 30% to 40%.
Altcoins to me are just good for the long term profit as a lot of them usually do not get sustained with their value except few and most of them are easily driven down by the huge rally on bitcoin, either bull or bear rally. However, for the sake of profit anyway which most of them can really give some mouthwatering profit in the long run, most of them are always a good catch but the truth is we cannot know which will be profitable and which will not, we are only holding and hoping to see if we get lucky holding the right ones.
1728  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 good time to invest on Bitcoin and Crypto curreny ? on: March 08, 2018, 04:48:38 AM
I'm looking on coinmarketcap graph and its not look positive like few months ago when all the crpyo were on continius growth
what needs to be change to make Bitcoin and crypto currencies to go to the roof again ?
is it likely or unlikely to happen?
how much you predict Bitcoin and Ethereum till the end of 2018 ?

Yeah. I would have to agree that we started this year at the wrong foot. But bitcoin and ethereum for that matter has a proven track record. So I will say that 2018 will still be very profitable.

But to replicate what we witnessed in 2017 will be very tough. A good all-time-high at $30K this year will be considered a victory already. So don't expect big things so that you will not be disappointed as well.
Almost all the years usually start like this, but I always see it as a way the market is just trying to prepare itself for the way forward. Bitcoin really had a huge increase last year, followed by all the altcoins when bitcoin started consolidating, before the free fall. We just have to take our time with the market since that is what we are experiencing now until we see the trend change fully.

I feel the market is gaining some level of strength gradually, so I would not be surprised we end up seeing some growth in coming weeks. The market will have to do some series of test on resistance and support before even declaring any point to go ahead, most especially after all that had happen. We just have to be patient enough to wait for it.
1729  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC PUSHES PAST $ 10K on: March 08, 2018, 03:58:50 AM

over the past two days, BTC  prices has dipped as low as $9k. the BTC prices has since bounced back to a touching high of $ 10.4k, cold this be an indication that BTC is on the recovery track?
I think it is indicate the big dump is waiting for soon. So it will little pump in the market I am just lying everyone curiously waiting the future possibilities because crypto market is suddenly drop and suddenly raise so no one predict the exact possibilities. But everything should be recover in June or July it is my prediction if you trust my words keep calm.

I think this is another bull trap. I have a feeling that this is not sustainable. Actually we haven't seen bitcoin sustained is price run. The last stop are $11700 then it quickly drop. Now that we touch $11K again, it keeps on fluctuating from $11K then go down $10800. I hope though that it will not go down below $10K and that the resistance is strong along that price.

Let's see how it goes in the next couple of hours, otherwise it will be a good buying opportunity again. I will buy if the price goes below $10K or $9K, good buying points.
I would not be surprised if it is but I still want to believe that it is not and what we are experiencing now is bitcoin heading to the accumulation phase. Time will tell anyway as anything we say now is pure speculation and what we hope to expect but when the time comes, a lot of signals will indicate to us where we are exactly. I am still waiting as well to see how everything plays out in coming weeks and months and trying to get more fiat for the time ahead to load up more for the run ahead of us before the end of the year.
1730  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do with your Bitcoin in 2018? Will it become more valuable? on: March 07, 2018, 01:54:31 PM
Russia to criminally punish me Although the government itself seems to be doing this and some are making money on bitcoins
If you are shying away as a result of some government punishment, you may end up not being able to take hold of your own future. You have so many ways you can get it even without having to use any exchange if it is not available to you and hold for your own future. I have always told myself that if my country mistakenly wants to try that shit, which I know they cannot anyway, then I will gladly relocate to a place where they have no problem with it.

Well, everyone have their own strategy and while some believe in just holding forever, some absolutely believe that it would always be good for them when they do the short term thingy or long term thingy depending on how they follow the trend. I have not been doing this for a while, but with my level of trading, I feel I would rather prefer the full long term investment with trend following. The essence is to increase my bitcoin quantity in the long run anyway and still play safe.
1731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: March 07, 2018, 12:44:28 PM
You are not alone, it does not work for most people but I think even the best traders lose money like most people but their gains are always more than losses.
It will never work for everyone that refuses to thread the learning path. It is not a curse; it is just a simple reality. Downtrends are the point where things get really bad for those who do not have any strategy and they get exposed hugely by having huge loss in such situation. They may think everything works fine with buying low and selling high which you can be lucky when the market is in an uptrend, but at times like this, without knowledge, then your funds will end up getting messed up.
1732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: March 07, 2018, 07:44:29 AM
Well , they say never buy in top neither when it is on bottom , because if you are not sure it is the bottom it can goes deeper!
2 points are not very stable , very top and very bottom , between those would have less risk .
Well, you may not really see buying the bottom as a risk and I have noticed that any sharp drop sometimes, the market always rise up a little bit even if it wants to continue with the downtrend, but I will consider being careful with this option. I have seen drops before that really ended up dropping the more without coming back up you just have to keep holding and hoping it gets pumped back. Probably for a coin you are buying at the top on a daily chart.
Yeah, I have seen situations like this several times and it takes being cautious to play with markets like this and not being too greedy as well.

Normally, when there is a little scare in the market coupled with a sharp drop there is usually the tendency to see a quick rise which normally end up forming a sharp doji and that should be a good selling point for a market that have the tendency to continue further. Is situations like that; it is good not to expect too much from such trades but something Okay.
1733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HITBTC in problems ??? on: March 07, 2018, 06:53:53 AM
I have no account in hitbtc but anyway your information are important, for the people have plan to use hitbtc to be aware about the information came from you.
Actually i exchange for my trading job the most reliable and have grea reputation in the cryptocurrency world assure my investment is safe. But do not judge the hitbtc may the the owner are now trying to resolve the problem to prove it not a scammers so give them chance for the old user wait until the problem fix.
Those who are smart already opted out of HitBTC and Yobit a long time ago since they both operate on the same level. These are exchanges that a lot has been raised as they are involved in a lot of scam and all they are just after is money and stealing a lot of funds as much as they can without any apology. I guess some people always prefer learning their lessons the hard way, and problem is nothing new for shit exchanges like this.
1734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Monitoring of new coins on: March 07, 2018, 06:21:48 AM
How do you make profits here ?
Newly listed coins on every Popular exchange will sure to have a good pump first because holders of that coin will sell it in a low price because they just buyed it in very low price when it's on an ICO and professional traders will think that way so they would the newly listed coin because almost of all newly listed coin on every exchanges are newly ICO coins.
Yeah, a whole lot of them usually end up having a huge pump, but it is always good to be very careful holding them for too long after the pump as some of them also sometimes get dumped by investors afterwards and that made me to remember the case of TRON on binance as it got to a point where it just seemed like some people really just do not want the coin to go any higher at all and then the dump just kept coming.

All the above, what the OP has shared is a great innovation and opportunity for traders to always take advantage of the movements of these coins once listed.
1735  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: March 07, 2018, 05:47:43 AM
If what most of the people here speculated and expected of bitcoins and altcoins
for this year will positively go forward, we might be able to see and experience
plenty of major changes, with and through the major adaptations and utilizations
of bitcoins as payment options in stores, businesses and numerous services
everywhere. Giant companies like apple, samsung and other major brands will
accept cryptocurrency and integrate them more with their upcoming ventures
and products. I think if this will happen, we will see a new era of business
transactions with a fast and conveniently effectual payment system that caters
to the majority in a wider scale and spectrum. A truly revolutionary market.
Yeah, some of the changes that we would experience will be the usage of lightening network, which I believe would bring a lot of changes to the bitcoin sector on lightening transactions and adoption on the mainstream level. I have no doubt this would be a major development for bitcoin and I am sure we may see the likes of Apple in the future accepting bitcoin as a result of that. We are still early, so I guess we need not to rush.

Before we can start seeing big institutions and merchants accepting bitcoin, we may have to see some few things in place and some trust that the system has really come to stay. I am sure, for now, they may not even want to take that risk yet, but I still do not know why a lot of them are still on the sidelines when they can easily just make use of the services that converts it to fiat immediately. It is their choice anyway.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt and Crypto? on: March 06, 2018, 04:21:04 PM
Well, relating that to the supply that you mentioned, in that case, I want to assume that the finite supply may not be a real problem as there must have been a huge demand for the banks to have even experienced being threatened in the first place and we all know how adoption would have been like for the bitcoin's value.

I am sure there should be enough in satoshis to probably go around, or maybe even if there is not, like you said, other cryptocurrencies may come to play. I really do not like assumptions anyway, but let's face it, I do not see cryptocurrency would throw banks to the garbage; they will not stop existing one way or the other and blend with the evolution.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: March 06, 2018, 10:45:09 AM
I also imagine this, we know that this bitcoin requires internet access, I think it can paralyze all the bitcoin transactions. Maybe it's better to wait for the electricity to recover.
Yes for sure.We can't make our trading transactions successful unless we cannot provide electricity, then internet connections could also be gone.If we have prepared some generators for it,maybe we can.But in some urban or even rural areas who has poor access to internet, then all internet transactions will be all paralyzed.
In doing trading not only just on bitcoin alone. There are 2 major factors for you in able to do such thing which is the most important (internet access, electricity) lacking even one of these things will really not work generally. Not only paralyzing the trading activity but there would be lots of thing to be mainly affected or even the entire economy of a certain place that do experience blackout.
On a very good and normal day, how would anyone even do anything without electricity? Okay, except for laptop with a good battery, an internet access, probably that would suffice for some few minutes, but in places where they are actually and totally ridden of electricity, it is impossible, probably possible with the use of mechanical or solar generators anyway. One thing is that this is one thing that makes it a problem for the whole population to adopt with the knowledge that some people in the globe still lack infrastructure.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: March 06, 2018, 09:04:21 AM
I don't know why more people don't think about altcois for storage of value as well. There is Ethereum for example. The technology is superior to Bitcoin. It's like highspeed internet vs. dial-up.
Like they always say, when you are in Roman, you behave like a roman and as long as people are still seeing altcoins as a quick way to just make bucks, it would keep ending up that way. Not like some of them are not doing well, and some have grown over the years, so it is all about having patience on your holding, but no one can expect a coin to pump overnight and expect to see it keep growing. If the growth is not organic, then do not expect much. Moreover, bitcoin too had its own share, but that notwithstanding, it is obvious they are just in the shadow of bitcoin.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins future on: March 06, 2018, 07:56:16 AM
I guess that the whole cryptomarket going to evolve into something new and much more complicated (in good way) and interesting. Can't wait seeing that.
I very much believe that this year is even going to be more interesting than the ones we have seen in the past. With the whole news of regulation flying around, the lightening network preparing us for mainstream and the segwit adoption increasing by the day, I am sure a lot would change for bitcoin most especially, but for the whole market, I am sure more money should be coming in this year as well. It won't be a bad thing to have some of them around.

Not all, but some alts have good future and obviously ETH is one of them. There are so many other alts though that would also do fine in the long run, so at the end of it all, the most important thing is to hold an altcoin with product and usefulness in the community and as long as there is a solution this project backed coin or token is providing, that is what would make it stay relevant and end up raising its demand in the long run.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just made a million by investing an ICO with my friend, what now? on: March 06, 2018, 07:12:24 AM
What ICO was? Congratulations... you are a rich man now! If I were you, I would sell at least half and make diversification to protect your gain...
That should really be the first question. With the trend in the market, I doubt if any ICO is doing any good now, except for few though and I recently saw one coin on coinmarketcap recently during the downtrend getting pumped hugely and that surprised me. If he is for real, then he is in for some nice treat for life because all he need now is to be smart.

He does not even need to know much about trading and if he can do some risk management and long term trend following, that would help him to join the whales in any good altcoin market by buying when everyone is scared and dumping, and then selling when everyone is trying to rush in and catch-up.
