Price seems stable around $19.

Famous last words.
1722  Other / Chinese students / Re: Why does this board exist in the forum? on: June 16, 2011, 06:58:47 AM
This isn't really relevent as the task is now over and there are no more Chinese students.

1723  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE json API up and running on: June 16, 2011, 03:07:54 AM
It's great to have these up and running, however it would be extremely helpful to make them friendly to cross-domain AJAX queries.

Here's how:

  • Enable JSONP wrapping on the server side. (PHP example in the link)
  • Change data type header to application/javascript to avoid type mismatch warnings in the browser

Sorted, JSONP should now be supported (for nearly all requests to the server actually) I've not tested it, so give it a try and let me know.

1724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My account Mt Gox got hacked and I lost 177 BTC, I have decided to call the cops on: June 16, 2011, 02:07:00 AM
How did they get into your account? Was your password strong?

Also the police won't do anything, never mind if they can or not, they're not going to bother.
1725  Economy / Services / Re: [CentiMine] Anonymous mini-mining contracts on GLBSE (CM400) on: June 16, 2011, 01:54:15 AM
I had the same error of Centimine when using balance command:

Problem: Your account doesn't balance, you may have deposited funds please wait a few minutes. Do not re-use old addresses when sending funds, for each deposit you should get a new address, if you have sent funds to an old bitcoin address it must be manually added to your account. Please email the adiministrator, doctor.nefario@gmail.com to inform him.

I dont understand; have I to wait? how many time?

That's sorted now, you'd used an old address.
1726  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: PHP/Webdev (also accepting Ruby dev) needed for GLBSE project GOOD BTC on: June 16, 2011, 01:19:53 AM
Thanks for the replies. To clear some things up so there is no confusion.

The problem with the assets is that often the company may have more than one share or asset on the exchange. (For example centimine is going to have a new one each month or something along that line).

So for each asset I would like there to be a link to the asset contract, and the asset chart, thats pretty much it.

With regard the url, something like /company/index.php?name=company_name  is fine, I'll add mode_rewrite after to get pretty urls.

Is there any confusion about the authentication part, everything understood about that?

I've gotten contact from Timo and demonblack.

So I'll wait a bit more (a day maybe) until I've got the quotes in.

1727  Other / Obsolete (buying) / PHP/Webdev (also accepting Ruby dev) needed for GLBSE project GOOD BTC on: June 15, 2011, 03:19:44 PM
The project is to have a simple CRUD(Create Read Update) application allowing glbse companies to have a companies page.

The style is to match that from http://glbse.com (of course less a few elements)

The homepage should list all the companies alphabetically and will have the url /company/  (make this page nice please)

Read
The url for the read page will be /company/company_name
The page will have a link in the top right corner to edit

There will also be a link to the contract page (contract pages available here http://dev.glbse.com/cgi-bin/list, link to the companies contract not the actual list)

There will also be a link all charts for the company (one chart per contract/asset) from here http://charts.glbse.com
So for example the company DISHWARA has an asset/share also called DISHWARA, their chart is http://charts.glbse.com/markets/DISHWARA.html and it's contract is http://dev.glbse.com/cgi-bin/asset?id=8eecf60639c6490ce38a5243fccbdffa69a01354f44a72c7cee5571949fb86ae.xml

There must be a link to a contact page, that takes the person to a form and emails it to the provided contact.

The page also shows a logo if any.

Create(and update)

Form Fields are :
company name
description
asset id on glbse (can add more than one asset)
contact email
link to forum
signature (don't worry about this one for the moment)
Option to upload a company image.

The method for authentication is that the user will put a signature (some text) in the signature field, this information along with the asset id will be sent to another server in a http post request(I'll provide the url later), and the server will return json with the value true or false.
If true then save the information. (So sessions will not be needed)

System
It's PHP 5 (or Ruby, but preferably PHP) with MySQL.
The server is Ubuntu (one of the newer ones I've forgotten which)
http server is apache2 with mod_php

If you need more than this (a framework) please state in your bid below.

Design

It's important that this looks nice and fits with the current style of the glbse.com homepage(can use the same top menu if you like). And if need be you can team up with a designer, I don't mind.

Pay

Post below with a little of your experience (some examples would be nice) how much you bid for this project, and the timescale. I'll pay good bitcoin for this if needed, I want it done quickly and well. Best offer gets picked (best doesn't mean cheapest) and I'm happy to employ a developer/designer team.

I'll see what I can do to add jsonp, this is actually something I'd like myself, would sort out a lot of headaches.

To the asshole bastard who try to break in to my yahoo account.
If you really Not a bastard(born to only one male & your mom had sex with only one male, not to dogs or pigs or snakes or mouse to give you birth) , Not a coward, chat/post here.
Instead don't try to break my yahoo account.

SH, some asshole bastard born to more than a mouse, tried to break my yahoo account.
It seems after trying some time, he clicked forgot password & i got email that some one wanted to reset my password.

Anyway, that made me to change & now use complex password.
It seems, some one don't want DISHWARA to grow. Even before i start running fully, they got threatened by DISHWARA.

deepbit MUST change the username from email id to just user selected name. Having email id as username is the worst thing & deepbit still doing it.

For keeping passwords, very usefull.

One question from me is, are you going to allow people to withdraw funds less than 1btc? 0.1 or even 0.01 would be nice, especially for what I'm thinking of. To get to 1btc could take 5-10 weeks of dividends per share and hence could affect people wanting to invest.

The reason for the fee was to cover costs for transaction fees, setting the minimum to withdraw would prevent a fee hitting the system with that particular account being empty.

I'm unsure what the situation with transaction fees currently is as I've been too busy to check in the last couple of weeks, but I know this gave me untold headaches when I had to deal with it last time.

What I will do is enable bitcoin transfers, so you can send to someone else who has an account instantly.

1735  Bitcoin / Project Development / GLBSE assets/shares removes, some users refunded on: June 14, 2011, 05:38:18 PM
Ive removed most of the assets that we're listed on GLBSE that had mistakes and refunded everyone for that.

http://dev.glbse.com/cgi-bin/list

Before trying to list again please have a look at this conversation, it should be a usefull guide until the documetation is done.

Looks awesome!

Will historic data be integrated there too? Currently the charts reach back ~1 week.

They reach back only a week because that's what was asked of me by tcatm, I've got the records so it can go back all the way to the begining.
1737  Bitcoin / Project Development / Charts for GLBSE! on: June 14, 2011, 12:46:24 PM
With thanks to tcatm, we now have charts for all traded assets on GLBSE.

Nefario, I sent you a message, I was the guy who needed to upload the new contract because it uploaded a detached signature, rather than the whole contract.
I also put in bold DO NOT BUY YET (until 6/15 because we should have the new one up by then right?) because the contract was not at 100%.
I am no scammer and I have nothing but good intentions, But i do want to get the ball rolling and start answering questions before we actually take investors.
So I guess If you could comment nefario and verify that I am actively trying to fix the contract without bugging you to much, that would be awesome.
Thank you.

Chill, never said your a scammer, just that the contract isn't signed properly.

I'll help you out in about 2 hours if you like, I'm on irc in #bitcoin on freenode as nefario.

Or Jabber (google chat) as doctor.nefario@gmail.com

ping me.
