1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 22, 2020, 06:51:57 PM
As time goes, only the strongest ones survive and I wouldn't say that bitcoin is losing it's dominance, no, it's opposite. It's clear for everyone what happened during this pandemic and what was the expectations around bitcoin and what we got finally. In such a bad situation bitcoin didn't lose it's price and keeps to be stable between 9K-10K usd range. And if someone thinks bitcoin is losing dominance, then I would love to remind them that bitcoin is still mainstream and altcoins follow bitcoin's price, they won't rise significantly before bitcoin.
1742  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do only crypto payments cost customers? on: July 22, 2020, 06:24:19 PM
I don’t know why some comments talk about paying manually, it can be done automatically every month without having to pay manually.
Why not solve the problem by issuing a balance in BTC and USD?

The aspect that you should focus on is fees and add many payment options available.
If the service is BTC-related, make it unique.

And may I ask, how? If you create a service provider like coingate, bitpay and allow users to top up their account with, for example $100 and then connect this account to spotify, netflix, etc and then automatically make payments from already filled account, then yeah but otherwise, how? How will I be able to automatically pay on given adress like scheduled? Also if someone has to do what o_e_l_e_o said in first sentence, then I guess it looks less comfortable, yeah? And what people want? Comfort, so I don't think such way will work for profit purposes and won't attract customers.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 22, 2020, 06:10:13 PM
People should have much more healthy approach to cryptocurrencies than "get rich quick" and should use bitcoin even if it was going to take 100 years to break ATH again.

Only then the whole system makes sense, otherwise, even if Bitcoin was not meant to be a Ponzi Scheme and obviously is not a Ponzi Scheme, it is actually approached by many "investors" as Ponzi Scheme and they hope to be at the bottom of it. That is simply wrong.

If different crypto news stopped speculating about the price all the time it would be beneficial for the quality of the whole crypto sphere.
If people stopped being obsessed by the price, it would be good too.

This is an honest call to everyone to start treating this great invention as it's meant to be - digital money. Including crypto news websites and youtubers who think that putting higher expected bitcoin price in the title will bring more clicks (and sadly, it usually does).

One says 1 million USD in 1 year, another says 10 million USD and so on... stop it, please. You are doing it wrong.
Yeah, people should have more healthy approaches regarding to crypto and bitcoin but you know what most of them want? Profit and that's logical but the worst here is that bitcoin turned into business and whales are here to get most out of it. Binance, Bitmain and other companies look bitcoin like a business and they try to be leaders here. Bitcoin was good in back, a lot of things changed recently, some for good and some for worse. The good thing is that people who use bitcoin for illegal purposes, are caught easily and bad, I already said that above.
Btw bitcoin's price rise means demand on it has increased and that's good.
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 22, 2020, 05:14:39 PM
As I see, the companies that bought license from bustabit are those who are active on bitcointalk and care about responses from bitcointalk users and about their reputation on this forum. Otherwise, no one cares about that.
That only companies that have licensed bustabit pay attention to their reputation here in the forum is of course not true, but I'm sure you didn't mean it that way Wink

I partly meant that cause this is reality, some really buy their script to just appear good here and that's normal and personally I appreciate that at some point. I hate that nowadays some casinos that don't run crypto business and aren't in touch with bitcointalk, use bustabit code without paying them.

Our forum has quite some weight in the cryptogambling area.  If you google for platforms you will quickly find posts and threads here.  So accusations or a bad image will lead directly to the fact that potential customers will jump off immediately.  So it is definitely worthwhile to be active for a platform here and to keep a positive image.
Yeah, it has weight and that's good. Because of this reason, a lot of users got funds that they deserved ( I mean scam accusations against some casinos, without them users' funds were just lost).

RHavar, you were original author of the Bustabit v1 code right? Did you ever consider trying to apply for a patent or any form of intellectual property?

That's a good question and I was really interested in that. Seems, his answer is following:
It was maybe a mistake, but bustabit never tried to control the game-concept (i.e. there's no patents or anything like that), just a copyright on the actual code that bustabit uses.
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 22, 2020, 04:47:48 PM
59 percent of global population has access to internet and according to this website we achieved this percentage in 25 years.
Here you can see the chart:

Numbers down below are up to 80 because there was a mixture of early and monthly statistics.

Btw seems there is a significant steady rise in number of internet users but still I think it will take decades to move population into cashless society, personally I don't like this fact cause it will be super easy to manipulate everything as you wish online. And after that, there will be no need of ATMs, right? Idk, that may happen or may not in near future, very hard to predict.
1746  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: July 22, 2020, 03:58:31 PM
Hi !

I have an issue with 1xBit. I searched but I did not see anyone with the same issue.

I sent 23.05 mBTC (0.02305 BTC) to the account n°196506345 on Friday, June 5th morning.
The deposit address was 3PFuM7VdBVkRKXxo9sTwDSrZWNabXJyHe9
The transaction has hundreds of confirmations (hash: f74ab51d47ec04585fd3a04d36f6fdc5233ae1527994436238304ed427055872)

But nothing appears on the account !!!

Naturally I asked support-en@1x-bit.com to credit the sum to the account or to send me back the sum. And they immediately redirected me towards security@1x-bit.com.
After a dozen of e-mails from Friday to Sunday, they answered to my last e-mail, on Sunday evening, where I didn't put my account number in the subject line and threatened to post my issue on forums : "The bookmaker reserves the right to refuse to accept a bet from any individual without giving a reason."

I told them this answer is completely unrelated to my case and insisted thrice. But no more answer from them.

Do you know of a way to take pertinent actions against 1xBit ? They clearly stole my coins there. I have screenshots and a video screenrecord to support the facts.
https://imgur.com/a/saZtinm

When you type 1xbit in google, there are a lot of websites:
1. 1xbit.com
2. 1x-bit.mobi (users think it's their mobile version?)
3. 1xbitapp.com
4. 1xbit.icu
and so on...

The only urls that belongs to 1xbit casino is following: 1. 1xbit.com and 2. 1x-bit.com
Despite the fact that I don't like 1xbit and it's pretty much known that this is a scam casino and has very bad reputation there, I would say that this is the mistake from your side and there is no reason to blame 1xbit in this case.
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 21, 2020, 11:58:58 PM
xxjumperxx
Thanks for the link, I was just looking into list and seems I can't find the casinos that I talk about.

RHavar
Thank you for your answer, seems yeah, that was a mistake and I think that mistake now costs a lot of dollars for them. Btw it's not possible to ask company about the code that they use, nor you can check it in public, so you can't prove that they used your code, right? And without doubt, they'll act like they wrote this code alone and other bla bla shits.

As I see, the companies that bought license from bustabit are those who are active on bitcointalk and care about responses from bitcointalk users and about their reputation on this forum. Otherwise, no one cares about that.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally some justice, scammer sent to jail at South Korea. on: July 21, 2020, 11:35:13 PM
Some people spent years in prison for just stealing a loaf of bread in order to feed themselves and their family member(s), also 36 years in prison for stealing $50 and now, a person who was involved in stealing of 249 million USD by running pyramid scheme faces up to 2.5 years in prison.

What a justice we have... And after stealing $249, we are going to feed him from our pocket (the taxes that you pay from your salary goes to feed  these kind of person while they additionally steal money from you). It gives me a feeling of puke.
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you estimate resilience of economy in your country? on: July 21, 2020, 11:11:46 PM
Cheesy LOL I sure as shit know the United States hasn't done everything we could've done that's for damn sure.  The problem is mainly on the Republican government side of things as they to mainly appease the president were much more lax in lock-down and now it's backfiring big time.  If people would just wear mask and listen to SCIENCE, it would help a lot.
I don't agree with you, personally I think that virus isn't that deadly and I guess it will be better to look deeply into statistics (age, their health conditions and etc). I am a healthy person, workout, have a normal diet. Personally I can't breath in face masks and to be fair it's hard or almost impossible to get fresh, new mask for every new needs of usage. I this those face masks must be optional, personally for me, pros outweigh cons and prefer to move without mask and already stated the reason.

On another hand, to be fair I can't see that anyone has problem of money in my country, no, it looks like people say they are poor but in reality have good supply of money cause everywhere I go, especially in supermarkets, there are queues and queues + people buy tons of products in hypermarkets like in past, so... There are a lot of traffics and there were even traffics when public transport and metro wasn't working, my conclusion is that people aren't as poor as they call themselves.

And countries, well, governments aren't gonna spend money on your well-being and on your business, especially in small countries where corruption is high. They get help and funds and these funds goes into their pockets.
1750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do only crypto payments cost customers? on: July 21, 2020, 10:39:46 PM
I'd do Paypal. I'm sure most people here would rather get rid of their fiat than their BTC.

You'd also find that subscriptions would fall away in no time at all if you were crypto only.

Many, many services make a big chunk of their money from users being too lazy to cancel their subscriptions. With crypto you'll be asking customers to weigh up whether they need the service every single time they send the payment.

If the service has wide appeal you're also crippling your potential market by not accommodating the conventional route.
100% true! Believe me, there are really a lot of people (from personal experience) who are too lazy to cancel their subscriptions and even move funds from their wallet to get rid of extra charges.
Do you know what's the demand on gift cards that you can buy via cryptocurrencies? I guess there should be the same demand on service subscriptions via crypto. For example, if person buys amazon gift cards via btc, there is higher chance he/she will be happy to buy prime membership with btc too. Same applies to others too like spotify and so on.
In overall, the more opportunities, the better for customers. If I don't have money on my visa card but somehow have some bucks on bitcoin wallet, will be happy to pay spotify subscription via it and don't let it to cancel out.
1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 21, 2020, 06:36:37 PM
I had been holding 1000 Eidoo coins since a few years and was wishing the price rise high so that I make a hefty profit out of it.
But I was feeling bad of the fact that despite holding it for a few years the price didn't rise much.
Lately the price went from 0.001 ETH to 0.002 ETH and I was happy that the price increased at least a little.
Though my target was around 0.003 ETH I decided to sell all of it for 0.002 ETH per coin since I was assuming that the price will fall down again.
I got the 2 ETH by selling all the coins and I saw the price today and it was 0.0032 ETH per coin.
If I would have sold it today I would have got 3.2 ETH. So I basically got 1.2 ETH less than what I could have got.

But this is what I want to highlight. Though I could have got more profit I am not sad since I got at least a little profit.
I know I would have been more happier if the price would have decreased after I sold but I am not sad that it instead increased.
So guys, it's ok if your profits are less. You are at least making profits while things could have gone the other way around.
In any case there would be two versions:
1. I got the 2 ETH by selling all the coins and I saw the price today and it was 0.0032 ETH per coin (that happened to you and you blame yourself for missing such an opportunity).
2. I got the 2 ETH by selling all the coins and I saw the price today and it was 0.0012 ETH per coin or lower (you would blame yourself for being very greedy and not selling them when you could).
So, don't blame yourself cause you did right when you sold them even at 0.002 ETH per coin, seems you got double profit (from 0.001 to 0.002). You can't always catch the best moments but you can catch good moments and that's what you have to do to keep going on well.
1752  Economy / Services / Re: Baidu Chinese SEO ranking keyword support needed on: July 21, 2020, 05:33:33 PM
I think it will be better to post this topic in Chinese board and also consider SEO related forums like BHW and warrior forums. As far as I understood you want keyword analysis, yeah? So you need someone who has ahrefs, semrush or alexa account and will be able to provide deep analysis for you. Usually, people offer such services on freelance websites like fiverr but idk if you find a person who knows Mandarin Chinese and offers such service, mostly you'll find indian guys on fiverr. Is there fiverr like marketplace for chinese people like there is baidu?
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 21, 2020, 04:18:53 PM
As far as I know if someone wants to offer bustabit like game on their casino, they have to acquire license from you guys, am I correct? If yes, then lately I see some local online casinos offer bustabit like game but I hugely doubt they would acquire license from you cause two of them doesn't even use provably fair system and uses RNG (at least they don't let people to see hashes to check).
Is there any place to check whether certain websites/casinos have acquired license from bustabit or not? In case would love to provide urls of these casinos to check, I am very interested in it.
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: July 21, 2020, 01:05:09 PM
Very strange thing i noticed: most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few

I think all clients i had from bitcointalk prefer to use bitcoin to buy services / products they needed ...

Not a single client that i had until now used altcoins like ethereum ,litecoin etc or tokens like usdt, usdc ....

Why do you think people don't like to use altcoins to buy things on the internet ?

May I ask you what kind of service/products do you offer to customers? Do you have online shop or what? And how big is the demand on your product/services? Is the number of actual sells higher than one hundred in a month? It will be better to share a lot more statistics with us.
If you have just 5-6 customer a month and after that your conclusion is that most people don't buy with bitcoin, then it's not correct, we need higher numbers of customers to have far more accurate findings.

But in overall, yes, there is high demand on bitcoin rather than on altcoins and that's because bitcoin is more known and has higher reputation. A lot of people who knows anything about crypto, bitcoin is the first thing that comes to their mind and believe me, there are a lot of people who don't know that even other cryptocurrencies exist.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: crypto related twitter accounts (Binance, Bitcoin, TRON, &more) hacked on: July 20, 2020, 03:04:25 PM
Haha, sounds curious, waiting for to see their bitcoin adresses hacked (but oops, it sounds scary for everyone). Curious fact is that when facebook had some shutdown problems, everyone was twitting: That's why you have to forget fb and stick with twitter, it's absolutely better platform. Would love to see their answer on this accident.
I think this was done from someone who works for twitter, most of the times nice guys are bad guys and always, smart people are the ones who have a power to destroy everything.

Btw this was very curious Cheesy

1756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns and some discussion about seo on: July 20, 2020, 02:32:20 PM
seo is is more based on text, so really does not matter because links are all same and its more for ads

How about do-follow and no-follow backlinks? Yes, both of them are just text based, but did you know that Google treat them differently? Specially as far as SERPS and link juices that your website are going to get based on their algorithms?
From bitcointalk, especially when you have dozens of posts, dozens of dofollow backlinks come and at some point it's not a brand new website cause google sees it as a spam. On another hand, I did just 2 day test and put my website in signature. In just two days, some backlinks and threads where I had posted in 1st page and had high URL rank, were indexed and in just two days I got 2 points up on ahrefs. Pretty good, would love to repeat the same test for up to 2 week at least and then see the results but still, I think it doesn't worth for fresh website but worths for those who have good mixture of dofollow and nofollow backlinks.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto poker popular? on: July 19, 2020, 02:18:45 PM
Usually dice, crash and similar games are popular in crypto world because from the begining thede games where main priority of every crypto casino and people tend to love them.
Sportsbooks are the thing that we massively see lately in crypto casinos and demand on it grows. However, blackjack and poker aren't that popular but there are crypto casinos that offer live blackjack tables where you deposit via btc and play with it, idk how huge demand is on live blackjack, roulette and baccarat from these casinos but seems people play it via crypto. It will be great to see poker game from crypto websites but the problem is to attract playerd and create stable demand, e.g. loyal customers. It's hard to do that when there are opponents like pokerstars and so on but I guess that's pretty much possible to make crypto casinos popular place for poker players and cooperation with partypoker may help casinos to achieve succesd in this direction.

The campaign has finished, right?
I think that is true because Hhampuz had told everyone from the start that the campaign would only last 10 day from the 1st to the 10th. Now I see that some campaign participant have removed their signature and Avatar even though the manager did not say that on the announcement. Even if the campaign continues, you will find that there are updates to the spreadsheet for the new period.

FortuneJack are hosting a 10 day campaign to get some focus on their new Bug Bounty Program. If you frequent the Gambling boards we want to hire YOU!
Yeah, at the same time FJ announced that their bounty campaign is closed. But there was no response from manager once campaign has finished if we don't include the last post about payments. Also thread isn't closed, nor CFNP status has changed, that's why I am lost in vein Cheesy
