1781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Todays reality..BTC price $3,600 on: November 29, 2018, 04:18:07 PM
Thats why it rises yea, probably.   Alot of people see the price get to this 4100 area or so and it builds because its reasonable risk reward to take onboard or take back what was sold.    As a market effect that becomes bullish.    I called out this area as significant back in August or so, I cant say I know how it'll react or that I'm a perfect judge but the significance was found there and at 3600 obviously.   Staying above 4200 is bullish

Funny how low a bullish point has become now lol. Just a month ago we're all steady around 6.5k and not a lot of people are bullish at that point. Well it seems that we're just going to stay afloat around the 4k area for a little while now.
1782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going to either $10k or $3k by the end of 2018 on: November 29, 2018, 04:14:54 PM
Well, everybody is expecting the bitcoin price to skyrocket again just like the last year 2017 but instead, the bitcoin is full of surprises. The majority of the people around the world are expecting the bitcoin price to reach $10,000 at least but it is currently going downwards maybe it will fall down to $3000. what is your take on the current bitcoin situation?

now we are witnessing the growth of the market especially for bitcoin, and defeating the assumptions that you say are jumping bitcoin at 10k. we can all breathe a sigh of relief because it looks like yesterday's decline was the last point. yes I hope everything will grow again

Well don't put up your hopes too high dude. Most people, including me, thought that we've bottomed out at 5.8k this year yet a sudden drop placed us under 4k real quick. Hopefully december at least can give us something to be merry about but don't count on it too much.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC dead on: November 29, 2018, 04:11:08 PM
Simple explanation. There were few on the top, earned a lot of money, the rest were just losing it. The problem is, there will be no new investments. This is not stock market aka Tesla, FB...BTC do not produce any usability to anyone. It is just mere speculation.

Not to mention all the scams related to blockchain coins. From Tezos to Bankera and Centra, and we are talking about milions.

Btc will be replaced with coins like TUSD.

As I said, few gained fortune the majority lost most of the investment. I lost 10k eur. Not to kill myself but still a lot for an average Joe.

Are you sure Bitcoin is dead? then what happens now in that growth? you can see and check it
I guess you have to use your original account not a newbie to spread the FUD

Well everyone's entitled to their own opinions and if he really thinks btc will be obsolete for the reasons he stated, then it's his loss. There are many like him who probably are all too negative about btc because they lost money. Losing 10k eu and blaming it on bitcoin lol.
1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Record falling. What to do? on: November 29, 2018, 01:36:45 PM
While we are speculating about is it a record or not, you can take a look on this:

Same things happened before, and maybe will happen again in the future, or not! I`m buying more,
that`s what I`m doing. In some way I hope this dip will last for a while. I don`t have huge amounts to invest,
I`m doing that little by little, when I have some extra money. This dip will not last forever, so I will try to
take the best from it.

Very nice that you found this table. It shows very clearly that the price of Bitcoin has been in very similar situations many times in the past. I understand that everyone is disappointed with such large price drops in the entire cryptocurrency market, but we must understand and accept that this is a high-risk market and things like this happen.

Riiiiight. So people have to prepare for various scenarios before they make an investment hence again the importance of making your own research and studies. People who are looking at the bigger picture are probably less concerned and are even seeing something positive to come out of this steep drop.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: miss out on bitcoin past low price? it's fine, if you miss out now you to blame on: November 29, 2018, 01:33:05 PM
Good point. Though it's not too late yet and we may yet have seen the bottom this year. Though i share your beliefs that we should look at the long term when it comes to crypto investments. This market still has plenty of room for growth and i'm sure crashes like this would happen every now and then. We've missed out on btc at below 100 usd since we didn't believe back then. I'm willing to make a risk at this point.
1786  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin this year on: November 29, 2018, 01:27:52 PM
The performance of bitcoin in this year has been terrible and the same can be said of almost every coin, it is a shame because many people were very interested in what bitcoin could do in this year and they have been completely disappointed by what they saw, this doesn't mean that you need to give up but you need to adjust the expectations that you had about the profits that you could make.
Agree with you. Bitcoin market conditions and most crypto are really disappointing. especially for holders. because in this 1 year many investors suffered huge losses. many of their assets are reduced by more than 60%. you are right that doesn't mean this is the end of bitcoin. the future is still long prices can change and go up again

We really thought that this is going to be another year for bitcoin but the year is ending in a month and there is no sign of increasing into another peak price. This is very saddening for all of us especially that when the coin had its peak price, we were very excited about it and have been thinking of profit ever since. It is easy to say that we should not be affected by this and must continue believing in bitcoin but in reality, some of us are really on edge of hodling.

Well if people became interested only because of the 2017 run then they have all the reason to be disappointed. They're interest is anchored on a very shallow understanding. People who got in for the wrong reasons without proper research are also to blame why we're in such a mess right now.
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain tech is being used for bad purpose more, rather than good on: November 28, 2018, 05:45:37 PM
Bitcoin and blockchain are awesome technology but it is being most used in gambling , betting , casino, all bad fields is this what making many countries  step back making bitcoin and blockchain tech making legal or creating negative impressions for people using this technology

Everything you listed here are things that have been carried out in a massive scale even before the advent of bitcoin. The entire hard drugs in history has been estimated to worth more than the entire crypto market capitalization at some point and that was when bitcoin or blockchain have not gain ground at all. The point is every development would always be exploited for good and bad because individuals are involved. Its now the responsibility of the law enforcement agencies to ensure that activities against the wellbeing of the state are not carried out through such means.
I do not know why people are bent on roping cryptocurrency into anything bad in order to give it a bad name as if those bad things have not been existing before crypto came up. This is very sad. All thanks to these haters for dragging the crypto market down the way it is now.

Indeed. It doesn't make any sense since these negative things are more rampant using fiat money. It's natural that with crypto's features, it will be used for illegal activities but that shouldn't cover up the benefits of this technology which should be highlighted more.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC and the Alts be easier to manipulate now on: November 28, 2018, 05:02:59 PM
Of course, with the lower market cap price manipulation is much easier. It is even much easier when users are in panic because they do not think reasonably and make decisions under the influence of fear. However, i think that this is the end of the bear market and positive moods are slowly coming back to the market.
The more cheap the price, the more easier to do manipulation. The fact is altcoin easier to manipulated then bitcoin. With the current drop price, a few altcoin might already manipulated by group of people, but for btc it will require more power to manipulates. The obvious thing is not easy to do that.

I don't think it matter for whales though. They can manipulate expensive btc and make it crash and they can pump cheap btc it whenever they like. It's the people's reaction to those manipulations that makes the difference. Of course panic would have greater effect.
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: November 28, 2018, 04:58:26 PM
I am believe some celebrities own bitcoin. After 2017 rising, many people interesting on bitcoin and crypto market, i am believe celebrities is one of them. They need to secure their asset and bitcoin is one good store of value to invest

Never doubted in celebrities' interest to bitcoin. Like anybody else they want to invest and increase their wealth. We just need them to speak about it in public a little more.

If people like john mcafee and richard branson owns bitcoin, then obviously there will be celebrities who'd have though of btc as a reasonable investment. Take 50cent for another example. If you have a lot of money like them, you won't be afraid to look into different kinds of investments and assets.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is Why you Should Worry! on: November 28, 2018, 04:54:42 PM
Many say don't worry, bitcoin price goes down and always come back up.

The problem with that statement is this,

It has always come back up UNTIL NOW!

There are no guarantees it will come back up or even a guarantee it can't die.

Past Performance is NO Guarantee of Future Results!

Is their a guarantee that BTC price increases, NO.
Is their a guarantee that BTC dies, NO.

There are NO FUCKING GUARANTEES !

It is a Speculative Investment , not a religion, that you throwing misplaced faith at , will make any difference.

All of these post calling for btc believers are merely calling for idiots to hold , while they trade to earn profit.

btc is not a store of value, don't believe the hype.

Make your decisions based on your OWN OBSERVATIONS, don't listen to unsupported authorities that goal is to profit off of your lack of research.

FYI:
One Major Difference that only exists now and did not exist in the past history.
The Exact Same ASICS Miners can choose between 3 different Bitcoin Forks , BTC / BCH /BSV  ,
that is new and investors should make their own observations of what influence that can have on future results.
Fork Profitability is a major factor in the miner's choice of which coin to support.

You said it yourself dude. No guarantee of future results. So you also can't be sure that bitcoin will not recover and exceed previous values. There are people like me who believe that the technology bitcoin brings will make sure it has a place in the future and that's why short term crashes like this don't seem to worry us that much.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 28, 2018, 02:00:11 PM
Whatever will happen to the Spurs this season, even they will finished a worst record, will not reached playoffs for the first time in several years or something like that, trading Kawhi is the best move they have done. There is no reason for Kawhi to stay at the Spurs vicinity because of his "own" agenda and it will surely affect the team.

Obviously Spurs today is not the "Spurs" that fans used to watched on but we can't just closed the book about what will be their stand this season. This is just DeRozan's first phase of his journey as a Spurs and who knows they have plans currently discussed on the table.

Anyways their recent game against the Chicago Bulls is intense especially at the last minute. They able to snatch a win by 1 point lead.

The win against Chicago says that this team can still pull it off. Yes, we can say that DeRozan is the only star but they can win if everyone will contribute. Its a hard fought win but their defense hold on the last 3 minutes that's why they're able to snatch a W.

Yes they have won, they have played with a lot of respect o their coach's decision and respect to their teammates. I am not counting out the Spurs as the top team in the league because they still have their system and that system is the key for their success.
If it's hard for them to win against one of the weakest team in the NBA then it will be hard for them to win against the best teams.
But, this team has build their name in the NBA already, they might have different players but having the best coach is a big plus factor for Spurs.

Currently no. 9 in the standing, it's still possible for them to be in the top 8, I wish they will add new players that will give big impact to the team.

The spurs are obviously in  rebuilding stage after their big three era and a lot of people thought they'll do it around kawhi which didn't happen. I'm a fan of how pop runs his team and there will be a time for them to show their potential. Wait for it.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: November 28, 2018, 01:57:35 PM
I guess all gamblers who often comment on this board had those road of shame. I had that kind of experience as well, but I never play with big money, so I never loose big money Wink logically, so even if I lost everything I had couple of times the road wasn't so shameful to me.
I don't think it depends on the amount of money you are gambling on? sometimes I play poker and sports bets with my friends, with low amount, but when I lose, that is enough to embarrass and make me shame, because my friend made a profit from me

Well i don't think there's any shame in losing in front of your friends compared to people you don't whom you're at a table with. Players know the feeling of losing so unless you've been arrogant while playing, i don't think it's shameful
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember your first sports bet? on: November 28, 2018, 01:38:09 PM
Lol. Mine was a local cockfight several years ago. If you don't count the bettings made by friends on anything we get our interest on. That's when i first won and lost money on making bets and sadly i realized it's at the expense of poor chickens.
1794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: November 28, 2018, 01:27:49 PM
Every alts goes where Bitcoin goes. It takes down the whole market with itself. There are many sectors that are disrupted by this technology like banking sector and they mostly targeting bitcoin. But this is just a bad time for bitcoiners and they have experienced this before.
I don't know, I think bitcoin brings a good change for everyone. maybe, those who get substantial losses may be those who want to see the bitcoin disappear, or die. well, however, most people now support this development.

I know most of those that want bitcoin gone are the ones that lost money one time or another and weren't able to recover. When it comes to bitcoin and cryptos, volatility could go a long way whether it's a push upwards or a dump. You have to have a broader perspective to survive times like now.
1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a reason why Bitcoin has to be the crypto in the future? on: November 28, 2018, 01:25:04 PM
I would say, in any case, BCT will be around for some time so or so.

One of the main reasons why Bitcoin can stay for a long time is the Security, the biggest blockchain, still trustable!

Well bitcoin doesn't have to be the crypto of the future. Sure it will go down in history as the father of crypto and the bearer of blockchain's early years but it's inevitable that somewhere along the way, probably in the future, there will be alts that can further push this market forward.
1796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would Bitcoin become irrelevant or remain the King? on: November 28, 2018, 01:23:02 PM
Bitcoin can never become irrelevant ad challenges are bound to happen.bitcoin was the first and original cryptocurrency.i think bitcoin opened the doors to a whole new world of digital possibilities.

Yes Bitcoin is the king of crypto world and it will not become irrelevant because BTC has been recognized and globally accepted by more countries. It is being used as alternate to currency in few countries and few countries have BTC ATM which shows the positive acceptance of bitcoin across the world. So the king of crypto will always be Bitcoin!!

Again when it comes to what will happen and the future of bitcoin, we can't tell for sure. Like this crash that's happening right now. I am one with you with optimistic views for bitcoin but things happen dudes.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My main writing clients have stopped BTC Payments on: November 28, 2018, 01:19:52 PM
Hmm this is bad news, I also receive payment of some contracts in btc, so far they have not stopped paying me in cryptos, but probably they are also thinking, but I do not think I find another way to receive the payment that is beneficial because PayPal is having many problems with my country lately.

Well another way to look at it is that they're probably trying to stock btcs for  a future run. I mean, they'd let go of a lot of bitcoins if the dollar equivalaent is low and that could be a big amount when btc picks up its pace. Just my two cents 😝
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Thing To Do When Cryptocurrencies Price Dumps! on: November 27, 2018, 05:36:30 PM
Best thing is to compare price charts of cryptocurrencies while all markets are down. Noone can predict the future or outcome but we can act with enthuasism

What does comparing price charts do anyways? The market moves on it's own and like what's happening now, it's moving quite randomly. I didn't notice a lot of experts predict that the price could go this low especially during the last quarter where we usually finish strong.
1799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Back to day trading with bitcoin on: November 27, 2018, 05:31:44 PM
Users who have got good volume of fiat can make use of the current market scenario the perfect time to make a large margin profit regularly. Such a marginal fluctuations happens at much longer time period. Also the small volume holders cannot get into the risk as they've already faced a big fall in the portfolio. Better is to hold.

I agree. Playing with btc at this stage is only for those holding a considerably big amount. Whales perhaps are having heydays this past week. Regular holders like most of us basically are stuck with few choices, either to grind our teeth and hold or accept our losses.
1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin plummeted, the red was flooding the market. on: November 27, 2018, 05:28:40 PM
That drop goes in hand with a drop in the stock market, it seems investors are scared of a crisis and are selling assets. The only positive side of it is that bitcoin has the smallest drop among the top currencies at coinmarketcap.

the rise and fall of the market, I think this is natural, because it is the current situation like that. so we can't change it, with the rise and fall of this market price. so as a result many of our friends are nervous and panicked.

Or perhaps they deemed that it's going to be more strategic to sell now and buy at a much cheaper price. The decline was steep and quick and for some who are looking at long term investments, what's happening right now could be considered as a blessing. I don't think there are as many panicky holders now as there were before.
