1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have an idea about betting on bitcoin on: July 05, 2020, 09:25:25 PM
I have an idea. I will not implement it, I don't know if already it exists, but I would like to post it. Tell me, if it would be dumb.

These days, there are many online casinos with games like poker. I wonder, how would a betting price site would be?

Like betting 0.01BTC on the price of bitcoin. If, I've bet that by tomorrow it will have pass 10,000$ I would get the analogous amount of BTC
If the price wouldn't, I would have simply lost my funds. There is a difference with poker here, tho. Central authorities, cannot control it. So the man that has the site, may bankrupt. On the other hand, I think we can admit that online poker (especially with real money) is never on pure luck of the cards.

You can already bet whether price of bitcoin will rise or not and that's called Binary Options. There are a lot of Bitcoin Binary Options websites that you can use. There are odds like: Bitcoin will rise - 1.90 --- Bitcoin will fall - 1.90 (just for example).
It's a little bit hard to understand what you mean when saying "get the analogues amount of BTC". But if you mean to bet on price higher/lower than specific amount and get bitcoins calculated in that price, then you can use Pricelock feature. If price is $9000 right now, you can plan sell bitcoins at $10 000. You can't get tomorrow's $10 000 value today converted in bitcoins.
1782  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2020, 05:17:52 PM
Still, I don't understand what magic do people see in Bitcoin. People are always dreaming about magic pills that they'll drink and will lose weight, become shredded and muscular, become euphoric and confident, charismatic, super smart, etc. Same applies with bitcoin too. Why do you think that bitcoin can solve poverty and help you in situation where you stay at home and do nothing? People look at bitcoin as a new way of pray that in reality does nothing but gives satisfaction and false hope.

Can anyone please explain me what makes something valuable? What gives money a value? Why GBP > Euro > USD ? What makes these papers valuable? When you are hungry, you need food, not papers but these papers have high value. If you can answer me on these questions in details and with arguments, hope you will answer me on why bitcoin is a magic currency that can solve every problem like you may think.

Wow, this is something new. I was always looking for dice website that would have this kind of options but seems all of them failed in this aspect and finally wolfbet shined there. Like this new addition, tested and seems to be work fine, both, expert mode and default strategies. Hope the list of default strategies will change over time and more and more strategies will be added, while more functions won't be a bad too, especially if it gives us possibility to analyze our past bets and have more details charts in overall.
Save strategy option shines too.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can online gambling help to kickstart the global economy? on: July 05, 2020, 02:26:10 PM
Gambling doesn't destroy lives, it's you who does that. I can't understand one thing, what's the purpose of life? To feel happy, right? If gambling doesn't make you happy, then why do you gamble? And if it makes you happy, then - why not to gamble? I have seen a lot of gamblers who are rich, bet high and get fun from it, this behavior doesn't ruin their life. But at the same time I have seen more likely a poor or normal budget people who gamble with high bets that exceeds what they can afford and idea behind their gambling is more and more profit. So, guess what destroys lives? Laziness, lazy people who want to get money easily by gambling, fail and then blame this business and call it a monster, death machine.

But gambling can't kickstart global economy and economy doesn't really depend on gambling as it shouldn't even be. Gambling is an entertainment and we all need it or any other kind of entertainment like tourism but economy should depend on people's actual job and only doing/making things can kickstart global economy. You need to give people stimulus and invest in their education, this will work synergistically and will kickstart economy.

If user doesn't understand how to reply, then it's impossible to detect that he/she has this issue (and otherwise, sounds illogical Grin ).
Also, it's always good to shake your brain (don't mean concussion of the brain) and find deals. If you want to succeed as bad as you wanna breathe, then you'll be product.

No one teaches dog how to bark so... There are some things that you have to understand. If you can turn on computer, open browser and type words in search engine, then I guess registration and clicking on reply won't be very hard, especially if you know English. On another hand, Chrome has built in Google Translate that you can use to translate website in your language and do what you want.

I think people will soon ask for: How to sleep? How to wake up? How to breathe? How to eat? How to see? And similar tutorials.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Marxism theory Suddenly making sense on: July 04, 2020, 08:36:26 PM
Personally I am against when someone doesn't work and gets rewarded. That makes people lazy and loafer. Instead, we have to provide higher education for people and reward system for them. Let's make it happen for everyone to get high quality education in every school and those who will succeed the most, give ability to learn in one of the greatest universities like Oxford, Cambridge and so on.
But no, they won't do it because Governments need uneducated and poor people, it's easier to manage them. When a person hasn't seen a good life, he/she doesn't crave it and is satisfied with the live that they have. That's beneficial for governments, they'll tell you some lies like we will make electricity cheap if you vote us and so on. Higher percentage of people fell into this lie. Did one government broke their promise? No problem, these people will have a hope for another one and it goes endlessly.

Some people have trillions of USD and then they tell us: Oh man, it's bad to print money cause it causes inflation. Then give us your money if you really care on us.

Do billionaires try to help poor people? Yes? Then how are they billionaires? And again, hunger isn't an infection to get affected by it, so they just don't care on poor people but when corona virus came here, they suggest us: Buy face masks, stay (without money) at home to make me feel secure and unaffected by virus, to protect my health.
Sounds hilarious, right? But truth!
1787  Economy / Gambling / Re: Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest, ETH Number Hunt Competition just started! on: July 04, 2020, 06:35:29 PM
YOLOdice legitimately is sprouting round the corner of the forum, many had outlined a details of weekly investment plan which I think YOLOdice would possibly deliver in due time.

How could someone go about this investment in your platform. What are the ROI percentage on each investment. I'm really interested in undergoing into investment as I choose YOLOdice
There isn't any fixed ROI set on your investment because casino runs a business where if player wins, money goes out from bankroll and opposite - if player loses, money goes into bankroll and investors profit. Yolodice has 1% house edge that means website has mathematically advantage over players and in long run, it should profit but still it doesn't guarantee you that you invest $100 and get $101 tomorrow. There are moments when players luckily win a lot of money and opposite too - lose a lot of money.
In yolodice you get profit in two ways: Profit from gamblers' play and dilution profit. Dilution profit means that 2% of every invested money goes into shared bankroll and for example, if $10000 is a 2% of shared bankroll and players lose, you get additional profit from this shared bankroll.

For more information you can visit: https://yolodice.com/#faq/investing

UID of both users are same as well. Both of these accounts are created one after another instantly. It seems they are talkling to each other and it's certainly a violation of forum rules I guess. These must be counted as spam. They are trying to increase the activity probably.
UIDs can't be the same...
I think it will be better for you to check:

Seems, accounts are created pretty quickly on bitcointalk so 2 minute difference doesn't mean that these accounts are alts and were created "one after another instantly".

Btw I have noticed that users target some users and follow their posting history, for some time, one user was usually checking my profile and immediately posting in threads where I have posted.
I just wanted to point it out that these facts doesn't mean that user is alt of someone and further investigation is needed.

But these users seem to be an alt of each other. They post in the same topics, their posts are just 1-2 lines and another fact:

1789  Economy / Services / Re: How can learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on: July 04, 2020, 12:18:04 PM
I guess it's the wrong place to post about SEO services. Yeah, bitcoin related businesses needs SEO but there are other better places if you want to gain attention from a lot of people, for example BHW and Warrior forum.

At the same time it always sounds curious for me when random people offer SEO services. It sounds like: Show me your business and for $50 I'll rise it, you'll rank in google and gain a lot of traffic that you can convert into money via placing google adsense ads or amazon affiliate links and you'll soon become rich and make $500 a day but still I only charge $50.
Also, better to post in your local board OP cause title has another meaning and your post is a whole another story. Still, hope you understand (at least idea) of my post Cheesy
1790  Economy / Gambling / Re: **luckygames.io is closing soon - withdraw your funds now** on: July 04, 2020, 10:45:59 AM
~snip~

In any normal casino, a player that finds a loophole with a game is typically allowed to keep the winnings. So long as they're playing within the parameters of the game and not using any disallowed equipment.

~snip

Where is that allowed? When player finds bug on website and tries to get as much money as possible from it, then he/she gets banned because that's unethical and in this case, it's included in policy and rules that gambler has to inform casino about that and he/she will get reward from this, otherwise - there is higher chance casino will catch such persons and ban them, so, they'll be left without money. It was easier to benefit yourself via bugs in past but right now, situation has changed.

At the same time I want to mention that sometimes people make "kind" things for again themselves too. I don't directly mean owner of luckygames but there is possibility he avoided scam because he had some traces online and it wouldn't be good to scam and risk that much, so...

Btw why don't they sell luckygames? Wouldn't it even be more beneficial for them?

1793  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system implementation to earlier adopters of Bitcointalk on: June 26, 2020, 04:30:58 PM
definitely has answered my question, meaning the 1000 Merits airdrop and some sMerits got most members that are legendaries today wasn't due to quality post. So in turned the merit system got implemented that it most be quality before one can earn Merits.

Yes. There are definitely Legendary users that only got there not because of merits but just because of the airdrop. It doesn't take long to look around and see a few users that are stuck at the 1000 merit mark because they aren't capable of getting merits through posting.

While that might be "unfair" to some, it would probably also be unfair to make every single user go back to being a newbie. But look at the bright side, newer users after the merit implementation can't spam their way to the top now!
I think that's something that's never gonna happen making everyone go back in being a newbies what a joke. Imagination of such steps will really bring the fall of Bitcointalk as a whole.
You can't change the past but you can change the future. Theymos could return every account to it's basic rank but that would cause a big chaos because there were a lot of established users. Imagine, when you see everyone with only one newbie rank with limited possibilities, it's hard to understand who was who and it's especially hard to understand for newly registered people. So still, this action was pretty fair. The reason why they implemented Merit was to lessen the spam attack from people who were creating new accounts. While you stop attack from new people, you can slowly prevent spam from current users and finally you get normal situation by "not burning any bridge".

Author detail page is in process. I don't have much free time right now because of my very busy schedule and it's paused for a while, will continue developing soon.
Seems you missed some of my posts. The reason why there is login/register option is that this will be a portal for signature campaign managers, designers and so on. They'll be able to add their campaigns here and manage/change it's status/requirements, etc. Same applies to designers, they will be able to manage their services, publish their works and get orders.

Right now, there are every basic details given on website, I think you have to double check it (it has min/max post, pay rates and etc).

if you want to increase it to 20x faster then buy lottery tickets

1 ticket = 1 satoshi, so this is a sure fire way to go.
Cheap and about 5x better than dice. You might even get reckt in dice
What you are saying is wrong. At the moment low price of ticket has nothing to do with your chance of winning.
1 ticket = 1 satoshi <-- that means you can buy 400 ticket with just one faucet claim but at the same time every other customer can claim the same amount just like you. One can deposit 1 btc and buy 100,000,000 ticket, it's a lot, right? But it's nothing in reality cause there are a lot of people who buy this and even more amount so your 1 satoshi worth ticket means nothing in this situation, it's even bad for you as it decreases your chance of win by giving everyone availability to just deposit 1 cent and buy ticket.
1796  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2020 one of the most negative year in my life ... on: June 26, 2020, 01:42:30 PM
'Poverty is like punishment for a crime you didn't commit.' - Eli Khamarov.

This is truth OP. This year was pretty good for Jeff Bezos, he was making a lot of money but according to him, nothing is never enough and he decided to cut fees for amazon affiliate members while his profit was skyrocketing.
This year was pretty good for The Walton Family because they made a lot of money via Walmart and other businesses they run, food and other necessary things were the most selling ones in pandemic. And without doubt, Pharma, that is a big business, saw massive profit and will see for a long time.

If you are poor and are happy with it, then why not? What's the purpose of living? To be happy, yeah?
But if you aren't happy with it and just want to give up and adapt on situation, NEVER! Do what gives you a pleasure but don't harms others. This is one life that you have. Once gone - gone forever. No afterlife and bullshits. Never fall on your knees because you didn't achieve your dreams before this moment/seconds.
I want to remind you Thomas Edison's words before he would invented: I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 325 million new potential users on: June 26, 2020, 12:17:36 PM
According to coindesk, PP has 325 million users, according to cointelegraph - 305 million Cheesy While in reality it's really 325, did they change number to make their article appear a little bit different and "relevant"? Sounds curious.
Well this maybe a typo error because only the middle number change, and also how do we know the reality when this is only about their stats and cannot be find by public.

Well, I wouldn't say that we get 325 potential crypto users
Of course we will not sure about that 325 million user because i think part of that users are already Bitcoin users so there is no assurance that 325 million is the right number to talk here.

~snip~

Nice image But Japan almost on bottom?seems like the respondent are not from the true users of Crypto.

Seems that wasn't a type from none of them. Coindesk the latest statistics, Q1 of 2020 while cointelegraph took Q4 of 2019. You can find this statistics on Statista, I'll leave link: https://www.statista.com/statistics/218493/paypals-total-active-registered-accounts-from-2010/
Idea behind integration of blockchain in paypal was never to bring customers to bitcoin but to increase number of their customers and attract exciting bitcoin customers to their servies. Maybe some of paypal's customers will have a look over bitcoin when they see this news in their email/paypal account.

They choose random 1000 person from each country. Btw this is very low number and doesn't give us any proper imagination cause for higher accuracy, they had to choose at least more than 1000 person from each city of each country.
1798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: June 26, 2020, 11:19:11 AM
Why there are so many threads like this? What does BTC and crypto trading have to do with COVID-19? Like affecting it's price and make traders panic because of the economic collapse?

I don't think it affect that much, and traders keep trading like the normal days. While the economy collapsed, cryptocurrency and blockchain have benefited more from it. Before the lockdown happened here in my city, Bitcoin was treading water from $5k to $5.5k.

Now we're treading water at $9k to $9.5k range and blockchain-related jobs, virtual events and demand have surged even more.
There is a link between trading and Covid 19. For example, during this lockdown, number of players have significantly increased in online and live casinos. That was the result of people staying at home for a long time. Logically, same should apply to trading and yeah, that happened. When you are stuck at home and think about other possibilities to earn money, trading will be the most common thing you'll see online. So this made a lot of people interested in trading and as a result volume has increased a lot.

Price is a whole different subject because there happened opposite of what people were thinking and saying. Bitcoin was able to be stable in such a hard moments. I think Covid proved to people that bitcoin is different from their centralized USD and there is some light in it.

User above me showed you how to resize image via bbcode but I'll offer you another option (takes some time but good for all of us).

1. Upload your image and resize on https://resizeimage.net/
2. Download resized image and then upload on https://tinyjpg.com/
3. Download compressed image and put among tags [ img][/img]

This way images are compress while still maintaining high quality and as a result bitcointalk users load website faster because of compressed images (saves our MBs when we are using mobile data).

Not only employees or their executives are careless but they don't have enough knowledge and don't put enough resources in developing better and higher security standards.

At the same time problem lies in users too. People just blindly open everything, the most curious proof of it is how people share every fake news they see in social medias and they can't decide whether BBC provides more relevant information or 9gag.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: June 25, 2020, 11:21:53 PM
Hey guys Smiley

There are thousands of online casinos, each one of them trying to get new members. How do they do that? By offering bonuses.

Is it important for you to have some kind of welcome/deposit bonus?
Or perhaps if everything else in that casino seems good for you, maybe such is not needed?
If you're into welcome offers, what are the best ones that would tempt you to sign up and start playing in that casino?

Cheers,
Karl

It's good that you directly ask this question to community but on another hand it will be nice if you have a look on competitors and analyze their correlation between their traffic, loyal customers/promotions and bonuses.
The answer you may already know, people want easy money but casino isn't a charity to give away money.
Deposit bonuses are good but when you make it extremely difficult to claim bonus, it less likely attracts people. For this, it's better to have lower deposit bonus with normal chance of claiming and don't asking for 50x wager in order to claim.
Welcome/Deposit bonus usually plays a huge role into people. Imagine I am looking for casinos and found 5 good option and one of them is trusted casino and offers 50$ bonus while others - only 10-20$. Which one would I choose? The higher one of course.
