I don't think inside the DASH topic, we should discuss about Bitcoin SV, shouldn't we?
i dont see why we cant discuss important events that impact one of our direct competitors with regards to on-chain scaling & following Satoshi "vision' while showing the benefits of having a governance model in place (Dash) against lacking a governance model (Bitcoin), leading to all sort of forks (Bitcoin SV, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond) and with it a lot of unnecessary drama. Its mostly thanks to Bitcoin SV threathening behaviour during the so called "Hash Wars" that DCG started to prioritize ChainLocks development in order to prevent 51% attacks on our network, so its not a bad idea i think to keep an eye on our competition .. specifically this one. With a bit of luck Dash may actually rise up a rank on coinmarketcap thanks to this all. Not that coinmarketcap is all-leading, but still... its a nice bonus. I always thought it a bit of a travesty that SV, which is a fork of a fork of bitcoin was ahead of Dash in market cap in the first place.. and for what? The genius invention of a f**king massive blocksize and er.. thats it. A massive blocksize is the limit of the innovation. Compare that to Dash, innovator of masternodes, treasury, DAO, private send, instant send. All the adoption going on. ... etc. Compared to , duh make the blocks massive Kraken is delisting them too. |

Yeah, I love all of those advantages of DASH. Bitcoin, in any scenario will always be the King, the backbone of crypto world. Something like Gold that is used as storage asset globally for centuries. However, DASH can demonstrate its high value and will be accepted more widely over the globe months or years later. Bitcoin always being king is debatable. Personally I am not a fan of the approach bitcoin has taken which is to offload majority of payments off chain into lightning networks. Wether that approach will win out ultimately remains to be seen. I prefer the approach of Dash above all other. Dash day may come. Bitcoin is my Dash hedge. |

If you want to attempt to steal them, prepare to die trying to take them. The direct application of force can be entirely bypassed and you can be rendered broke with no defense precisely because shitcoins have built-in middlemen and don't remove counterparty risk. The only time I have used cash in the past 12 months was when I was defeated by a parking machine in a UK seaside town which would not let me out without a pound coin. I had to go to an ATM and then to a pub to buy a beer so I could get a coin. Fucking savages in the UK. Well that's exactly what I mean. I still profusely use cash because of reasons. Most people don't because of convenience. But we are going onto a path where soon will come the day that we won't be able to use cash (for the most part) even if WE WANTED TO. Most euro countries you can not even buy a high end TV set using cash. It's forbidden by law. They will keep decreasing the max limits over time. Why? Because cash is way harder to control than banking fiat or even Bitcoin. cash is the ultimate privacy token. which is why powers that be hate it (even though they control the supply) ;-) don't write it off. it has uses. Going cashless will mean less freedom Speaking of the powers that be, does anyone know how many variations of Dragon Balls there are? For the weekly draw, the bot wants me to sign a message confirming that I own an address. But when I click on the request to sign message, it signs it with a different address (I have bytes in 2 different addresses). How can I sign the message with my other address?
What address is that? A change address or just another the wallets in the app? Just select the wallet you want to add from the burger menu and then select "Insert my address" from the chat "..." button. It is easiest to do that with single-wallet address because on multi-address wallets, you need to add a new address every time you spend from that wallet because change is sent to your new address. So, if you use multi-wallet address, it makes sense to send all to your current address on "Receive" screen. Hmm.. About the new distribution methods. I really hate them! Full moon airdrop were beautiful things. I looked up at the sky and saw the full moon waxing. I thought beautiful things about the project. I looked forward to an airdrop. I was content being an early adopter and rewarded as such. The elegant simplicity. But this. This is ugly. This is blacklisting addresses, lotto style gambling, proving ID, changing your mind, and other ugliness. It is the broken promises of how the coins would be distributed. It is a never ending distribution. With unofficial halvings as the distribution diminishes. central control and ID verified. Privacy a forgotten token. Byteball bytes the broken promises.

That would be cool, but I don't know if it's possible because if that smart-contract is between you and steem attestation bot then draw bot has no idea what this address is about until somebody withdraws from it. Maybe it could guess that it's locked reward address by who funded it, but I am not sure.
