1801  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Kit Sales Open, official sales price $2260 per Kit on: June 01, 2014, 04:46:12 AM
As i see it current products are priced for people who really want to buy hardware when its not wort to produce them in volumes anymore. Bitmain needs thousands of cases for S3 awesomeness launch.
Time to hodl.

This seems like a very reasonable observation and makes sense strategically.

The fear, however, is that Bitmain might become someone like Megabigpower or KNC that doesn't need it's customers any more.

Love Bitmain's products, want to buy more, but can't rationalize an S2 kit purchase right now. Cry Certainly looking forward to their 28nm product, and hope it is reasonably priced.

Hodl it is, for the time being.

This pricing confuses and frightens me  Undecided

If anyone has an extra S2 coupon, I would appreciate one. User "Xian01" on bitmaintech.com.

Thank you.

Can anyone link to Josh's first use of this? The "genesis quote" of Two Weeks?

1805  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: May 28, 2014, 12:26:01 AM
So, here's a deal. If you can prove that anyone, just one will do, is actually paid by BFL to shill for them here, than I will prove that you, <SEO shit deleted>, are a pedophile with a Montessori school in Djakarta.
Fair deal?

This is in very poor taste and completely out of line on these forums.

You are just parroting libel that Butterfly Labs has concocted to discredit those who bring attention to their deplorable business practices.

 For shame.
1806  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: May 27, 2014, 10:40:41 PM
Anybody know what the cutoff time is for ordering one of these miners, so that it ensures delivery next day?
Unless you are in China I doubt you would be able to get next day delivery. Shipped next day yes, but delivered next day I doubt it.

Yeah, not sure about that "Next day delivery". Should probably read that as "Shipping within 24 hours".

Usually takes 3-4 days to get delivered to the US from China after the package starts tracking with the courier.
1807  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: May 27, 2014, 06:33:28 PM
Pulled the trigger on another one of these units yesterday. Will make sure to report on the new hardware revs when I take delivery.
Did you do it with escrow?

No. My first order with Bit-Tech paid via BTC directly was executed with no problems. Paid them directly for this additional order as well and received order confirmation today, with it shipping out tomorrow.

Everyone else seems able to make boards work with chips. Somehow BFL cannot.
More pictures, still no Monarchs in the wild. Sad.
Neither can Bick... Even sadder considering he didn't even have to design his own chips...
it is hard to be a BFL shill and grasping at straws ...

One does need to grasp at straws when attempting to make a straw man...

Compared to the other miners I have in my farm (Bitfury, A1's, S1's), it seems the S2 submits a disproportionate amount of duplicate shares.

Has anyone else noticed this, and aware of possible solutions ? Isolated case ?
1811  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [$2,650] 1THs Coincraft A1 28nm ASIC miner shipping from China on: May 18, 2014, 12:31:57 AM
Is it hashing at a full 1T?  What's your wattage at the wall?

Don't have a Kill-A-Watt handy to measure power draw. It's performing as expected, at 1THs with the dragon image.
1812  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [$2,650] 1THs Coincraft A1 28nm ASIC miner shipping from China on: May 17, 2014, 07:33:08 PM
FWIW, the SD Card in my Qiangminer got fubar'd the other night. Loading the dragon image posted in this thread onto a new SD card got the system back up and running in short order. (Make sure you have an IP scanner to locate it's IP. If memory serves, I believe the image in this thread defaults to 192.168.1.163.)

Is the new $1750 price for the 1TH+ units with the 1300W power supplies ?

Received two B4 units today.  I upgraded the MicroSD's with Class 10 units right off the bat and reseated all of the cards.  Took a reboot to get all of the chips on line, but they're both 100%.

 Upon delivery of my B4 unit today, I wanted to;

 1) Image the SD card before turning it on
 2) Swap out power supply for a Corsair AX1200

Took the screws off the case, took one look inside, LOLWUT ?, maybe sometime this weekend if I have an hour to spare. Decided to get her up and hashing as is for now *shrugs*

Why is it so difficult to get an answer regarding pricing and shipping availability of these products ?

I would like to buy one. How much ?
1820  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's official! The Bitcoin Foundation has an accused pedophile on its board. on: May 11, 2014, 09:20:38 PM
I submitted my public resignation as a lifetime member from the foundation in their forums.

I can't be associated with such an organization in it's current incarnation.
