If you use Coinbase Pro, then you can leave an open buy order, and then you can buy in a wick even when you are  asleep. You wouldn't hve time to pick up some of them just by reacting to a message. Of course, you have to choose the correct price to take advantage of this.
1822  Other / Off-topic / Re: How AI Weapons Could Cut Collateral Damage on: January 22, 2020, 02:18:44 PM
Warmongers like the US don't want to reduce collateral damage. Thus is why they added enriched plutonium to the rockets launched against Syria,
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value starts with people's attention? or with its technology? on: January 22, 2020, 02:10:10 PM
Bitcoin's value lies in the large number of copies of its decentralised ledgers. Because of this, it is the only crypto that is not vulnerable to a 51% attack. It is a real store of value that is independent of other asset classes, and it is the only crypto that offers this with real security from outside intervention.
1824  Other / Off-topic / Re: Invest $50 and gain $5000 withnin a week on: January 22, 2020, 12:40:32 PM
Any legal method requires luck, knowledge and work.

You could register a domain name, and sell that for $5,000+. However, the chances are that you will just lose your money.
You could write a book, and sell the publishuing rights.
You could buy a metal detector, and try to find hidden gild. The chances are that you will spend a ;ot of time, and get nothing though.

Gambling is a mug's game, unless you own the casino of course.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Should I run my node all the time I am online? on: January 22, 2020, 08:09:46 AM
I need to review public WiFi sites. There is a massive variation in speed and available resources. Most block incoming links through the Bitcoin port. I use the Tor window in the Brave browser sometimes, and a few services cancel the connection after a while, and I have to reconnect.

My concern is that if I push the "free" WiFi services, then it may trigger some new restrictions. I'm already having problems with some Restaurants blocking access to some of my sites like The Crypto Coin Tree, and I have to use Tor to gain access.

I'm getting close to 7001 - Do I get "Tool" for that?
1827  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos please ban ME! on: January 22, 2020, 06:17:42 AM
Your remedy is simple. Encourage the good posters and reply to them. ignore the bad posters, and those with whom you disagree, Pretty soon you will build your own sub-forum here, and you can enjoy that.
1828  Other / Meta / Re: When will BCT change? on: January 21, 2020, 06:56:54 AM
"the truth will emerge from the competition of ideas in free, transparent public discourse and ... ideas and ideologies will be culled according to their superiority or inferiority and widespread acceptance among the population."

But which "truth". You only have to look at the climate change and vaccination threads to see how the real truth is suppressed, and popular misconceptions dominate. But I agree that public discussion is good, and sometimes it leads to the conversion of the misguided and uneducated.

I'm not sure that I understand your post.

Gina Miller is an immigrant that was educated at Roedean ( the girls' equivalent of Eton ), and she is a failed investment councillor. She is married to an investment fund manager, and she is heavily into the Deep State banking elite. This elite has morphed from the old British Empire, and is heavily loaded with products of the Eton/Oxford factory. Clinton was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford for example. This collection of dynasties controls the EU, and for 50 years, they have been using it to take capital out of the UK, and disrupt the social structure here. We voted to stop this, but because the E/O bunch are so dominant in parliament, the civil service, the military and the judiciary as well as banking and education, it has been difficult to enact the will of the people, and Gina Miller is a puppet that is used to front one of the initiatives to block Brexit. The "work" she does is no more her creation than the "trade deals" of Theresa May ( who is also ex- Oxford with a banking husband). The work is created in the City of London, and pushed out through the puppets.
1830  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin: virtual credit card on: January 20, 2020, 02:19:07 PM
Why would you need a Bitcoin debit card? If you have Bitcoin, then you can pay someone in any country directly.
1831  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prince Harry's break with the Royal Family is a historic event...! on: January 20, 2020, 02:15:56 PM
He isn't the first. Edward VIII abdicated to marry Wallace Simpson.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 20, 2020, 01:47:06 PM
Bluetooth is too limited in range. I've been looking at LoRa, and that looks as if it might be the way forward.
1833  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mixer BitiMix.com on: January 20, 2020, 01:44:38 PM
How many people missed the second "i" in the domain name. Those "almost" domain names usualyy indicate a phishing or scam site, so take care guys.

Does anyone know which of the mixers were bought by the US government?
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff Lost His Bitcoin on: January 20, 2020, 01:40:01 PM
He's pretty stupid, as he uses the same password for everything. Anyway, I gather one of the Bitcoin YouTubers has recovered it for him.

Wasn't he one of the guys who used to say - if you don't understand it, then don't invest in it.
1835  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Okay. Charge tax on bitcoin. Is this fair policy? on: January 20, 2020, 09:25:21 AM
There are 3 elements here.
1. Bitcoin used as a currency for purchases.
2. Bitcoin as an non-interest earning savings mechanism
3. Speculation on the price of Bitcoin, and the receipt of interest on lans.

1. Should not be taxed, even if people make a bit of profit from it.
2. If you tax this, then you need to tax fiat as well.
3. These are trading profits, and should be taxed like any other profit source. You should be able to offset losses as well.
1836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hacker leaks passwords for more than 500,000 servers, routers, and IoT devices on: January 20, 2020, 08:40:13 AM
You definitely want to dual boot first though, as so you can still use your Windows OS if you're really uncomfortable with Linux.

I took a slightly different approach. I bought a large SSD, and I swopped the hard drive on my notebook. This enabled me to install Linux Mint onto what was effectively a brand new uninfected computer. I can swop back to Windows if I need to run some software that Mint doesn't support. Also, I bought a hard rive housing with a USB connection for the old drive, and this allows me to access any files that I need to copy from the Windows system.
1837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Forget World War 3 Protestors are already killing country’s economy. on: January 20, 2020, 08:13:04 AM
I didn't read the articles, but you need to realise that becoming a full time protester is a career choice these days. Globalists like Soros pay monthly retainers to activists, and bonuses when they stir up trouble for national economies. It is reported that the failed businesswoman, Gina Miller, receives £millions from Soros to attempt to mess up Brexit. This is using the legal system for active destruction. The less able just stir up trouble to cause physical destruction and unrest.
1838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hash Rate Continues Climbing to New High Indicating Healthy Pre-Halving on: January 20, 2020, 07:52:21 AM
I'm starting to think that some of the new miners are not in it just for the simple mining payments. Are the finance houses and exchanges starting to get into mining? Will India turn to Bitcoin mining to soak up spare electricity once their thorium reactors are online?
1839  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need more twitter followers, but got banned ! on: January 19, 2020, 09:51:38 AM
I get the feeling that Rwitter is fighting for survival. It's never appealed to me, and I see so much bad press about it at the moment. It also seems to be quite destructive, and doesn't seem to offer many benefits these days.
1840  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump and Protestors something doesn’t feel right!. on: January 19, 2020, 09:13:40 AM
Just because people call it a conspiracy theory, it doesn't meant that there isn't a conspiracy. Most of it comes from the new expanded British Empire.

Now here is a test for you doubters. Who is the ultimate land owner of the most land in the world. Answer - The British Queen ( well strictly the English Crown). It owns the whole of the UK, Canada, Australia, and a bunch of other countries. Don't believe me? Just think who owns the oil found under your "freehold" land, or the valuable treasure dug up on it. Then reflect on the outcome if the government wants to build a road over it.

There is more going on in the world of the stratified elite dynasties than many people imagine. Venezuela was trashed for the benefit of the Koch brothers in my opinion - that's another dynasty in the ruling group.
