EDIT: A question what asking though is there still anyone in the General Cup ? and secondly too, I didn't check at first or maybe I missed it somehow the pool cup is starting in week 34, I think there should have been a slight prize or something set aside for that, it would have been fun.
I never lasted long in the cup, even in the seasons where I was top 200k I always got eliminated in round 1 or 2. I have worst luck there, there was one season where I was doing really well and even had a score of about 20 points more than GW average and still lost in the cup against guy who did not touch his team from GW1. He had some keeper as captain, I think Henderson who was conceding all the time and then he keeps a clean sheet, saves a penalty and ends up on 20+ against some top team.

Anyway interesting times coming up. We have a double GW29, double GW34 and double GW37 with one hellish blank in GW32 to screw with many managers plans. Looking forward to this, saved free hit just for that one since the moment it was announced. This is the time for me to attack the rankings and hopefully put some pressure on the guys in front of me.

Let see how these double weeks will turnout, funny enough, I've barely had a success when playing with a double game week in mind with my transfer 3 weeks earlier or there or even taking points it.

I think I'll be fine with those blanks, I've navigated all the blanks, and I should have 9-11 players playing except perhaps 5-6 players missing out, but then there will be injuries as usual and suspensions and whatnot.

Don't celebrate yet; if the Kazakhstani coconut farmers can come back against Denmark from a two-goal deficit to 3-2 with a red card, the Air Bender and water bender nations (Malta, San Marino, and Luxembourg) will score for me to force us to settle for a point. I believe I will earn this point because I deserve it.

This isn't me celebrating just so you know, If you're a NBA bettor, you'd know every single second of a game matter, who would have expected the Netherlands to concede a penalty in such a horrid at the final, or Memphis Depay throwing both chances down the drain, and then after comes the Croatian drama, If there is anything to take away from this round, it's as though, not all that's good, ends well.

Almost every game so far have went the exact opposite of what it was meant to be from about 40 minutes to the end of the game, From England being overly dominant in the first, you'd not have anticipated such a twist in the second half.

Croatia also should have been at least 2-3 goals up before the 80th minute, the only match that started fairly and ended as such were Chelsea vs Lyon and France vs the Netherlands.

J. Butler 25+ PRA / N. Claxton 15+ PR / M. Bridges 20+ PR / S. Dinwiddie 5+ assists @1.57  X

Not much value at 1.57 but this looks solid to me and is likely to hit by the end of the first half.

Spencer Dinwiddie is third in the league in assists @11.3 /L7 (almost 18 potential assists), 5 shouldn't be a problem for him.

Claxton has been in double-digit scoring /L7, and in that span, averaging close to 10 rebounds a game, he has cleared 15+ PR in 7/L7.

Bridges has the ultimate green light on the Nets right now, he leads the team in FG attempts /L7 @20. There's been only one game /L7 he's gone under 20 points (18 vs CLE).

Butler is averaging 40 PRA /L7 and i've got him at 25.  BKN won the first two games, i'm sure he and the Heat don't want to be swept on the season series, plus the fifth seed is still in play with the way the Knicks are dropping games.

The last person I expected to ruined would have been Jimmy Butler, but here we are and Brooklyn Nets after 5 consecutive losses got a significant win against one of the teams to be wary in the post season.

Other the result, I'm not going to lie, I'd say I like this Brooklyn Nets team better, they might still be missing one or two pieces to help them become a championship contender, but the tension in camp seem to have subsided and all players are on the same page less ego and committed to a common goal rather than pointing fingers at who's the horrible Guard or the Mediocre Centre guy.

They were in total control but couldn't get another, It was only right they didn't get to win the game, 8 freaking shots on goal, I'm sure you'd have given up hope, If they were already 3 goals, but I like how heart breaking, it turned out to be Grin

I now see Embiid at the player props at Stake.com so I guess he will be playing this game. James Harden's name is missing though. Despite that, the lines are still not changing so I will still tail your pick but with a lesser handicap just to be sure.
Golden State Warriors - Philadelphia 76ers - Golden State Warriors (-3.5)

And my final pick.
Sacramento Kings - Phoenix Suns - Sacramento Kings (-3.5) Light the beam! Sabonis should try dominating the paint on this game without Ayton for the Suns to defend the rim.

Both bets won congratulations, I could have backed Chicago bulls today knowing fully well that Portland Trailblazers are missing a lot of players, including the likes of Afernee Simons, Jerami Grant and Nurkic who just back a little while ago, while I was right with my analysis I couldn't just trust the Bulls enough and Demar DeRozan missing was the major reason why I passed on that bet.

GG between 76ers and Golden state warriors, Jordan Poole also had to step up a lot today in order to assist the Splash bros, he was the warriors highest points scorers tonight 33 points and 6/11 from deep, warriors are now pulling clear from the play-in tournament, they should be able move up to as high as the 4th position, if they're able to remain consistent down the stretch and not lose another important player on their roster to injury.

Anyway to avoid any 'confusion' like this in the future, probably we should settle on using specific website for the statistics of the questions? Probably settle on two trustworthy site like flashscore and livescore

We settled for the Uefa's one - which should be the most trustworthy.
We're now checking if they potentially made some mistakes.

The current result doesn't favor me, but since it's a UEFA competition their results should be the final and the most legitimate one to consider, It's just like the FPL issue we had a few weeks back with a Solly March goal, if we had organized the fantasy manually, we pro ably would have had to change the result, right ? but it's still the FPL decision that mattered, so incase of irregularities like this, you should stick to the organizers of the event.

Man KDB was a non factor in this game Stormzy was the man most definitely Undecided

I really didn't even remember answering that question, but seeing I picked No, I was sure I did.

Thanks to Memphis Depay for bailing me out, Netherlands barely had any attacking threat all night long until the unfortunate inadvertent handball from Dayot Upamencano gave them the chance at a consolation goal, but they couldn't utilize it, and the ball fell kindly Depay yet again and another brilliant save from the keeper to keep it out.

What do you think of the game between France and Holland?

I really don't know man!

France are already 3 goals up, and it's barely 20 minutes, So, I think France are going to get really comfortable now, and it could lead to a
Netherland's goal, but if they are going to school they should better make sure they score more than one goal  Cheesy

It's total shambles from the Netherlands, they lack every thing especially any form of organization.

France 1 0 Netherlands

Games of the day, preditions in bold,

some games already started

It's not even 10 minutes into the game yet and France are already up by 2 goals, against the Netherlands, It's probably going to be a walk in the park for Didier Deschamps' side today,

France are very deadly on every attack, Netherland have barely been allowed to be able to settle into the game.

fuck........Rasmus Hojlnud 90+3 goal for Denmark ruined my third point for the day. Fortunately for you, Harkorede, that goal gave you a lifeline. You won't be so lucky tomorrow. I just need Neitherland to do the dirty work for me , This is getting exciting, and I'm just disappointed that I didn't back our women's team to defeat Lyon yesterday. Lyon, Barcelona, and Bayern women have been our problems in the champions league for the past three seasons. I've let my team down twice, and we're Chelsea, for god's sake!

Lol. yes the goal gave me a life line but then if England hadn't been so dominant in the first and lost the dominance and being one man down, it would have been an entirely different story, it was you who got lucky with that question because we both could have missed it as well, the truth is I still have significant level of confidence, I danced to your tune, and some questions I answered was because of what I knew you'd settle for too, so for each I question I'm convinced about my answer I try to go for the easiest I think you'd likely go for too, but then the England question isn't one of them, I knew the clause attached to England dominating, If the score had remain goalless at halftime, or it was Italy with the lead, England would definitely have dominated both possession and the passes significantly.

Managing a championship club is the same as managing a top tie club in Scotland; Kompany is doing a good job, with no hype and a complete tactical job. Steven Gerrard left Rangers so quickly; it's common among English coaches; a few good games and the English media will start linking them to top tie jobs, putting pressure on an English team to hire them. Gerrard should have stayed in Scotland because he was not ready to move to a top-tier club at the time. He was having a fantastic season there with no pressure, just go out and win games.

Managing a player and motivating players are two aspects of management that Gerrard lacks.

I see what you’re saying but what managerial qualifications did Guardiola have to get the Barcelona job? He went on to create and manage one of the greatest teams of all time.

I guess when a big job comes calling, old players with little experience will just take it. I guess they think the opportunity may not come again.

Gerrard was really poor at Villa, he deserved to lose his job. I don’t blame him for taking it initially though.

For Gerrard this was a bad decision to go to such a weak club. He needed a bigger club so he could try and achive something bigger . With Villa it wasnt possible and now he will need to find a new club and after getting sacked it will take some time to find a good club that will take him.

I wouldn't say Aston Villa is too big a club for Steven Gerrard to manage, these are the kinds of managerial appointment that helps build a manager's experience and I also wouldn't say it was too early for to have left Rangers, he has gathered the needed experience, staying for 10 years or more at Rangers would not have helped him have a better idea about managing an English club, I guess this was his first real test as a manager, If Lampard could have being of Chelsea, then Gerrard is no less worthy to manage a team such as Aston Villa, he already has decent record as a Rangers, it was just about the right time to take a step further in his career.

I also went with England, they are a better team and have to finally show something to confirm it on the pitch.

I feel that the game will be close though but England has way more quality from the bench - which might be the deciding factor.

I agree with you, I went with England due to the caliber of players they have, except England take a very early lead that gives Italy the liberty to apply their own form of pressure and attack, I don't still see Italy as a team that'd be able to string 5-7 uninterrupted passes together, and that lives me with just the 30 passes more, Italy plays a more direct game, and doesn't even need more passes than their opponent to win a match. so in my best interest my opponent and I both went for England to win, but I wouldn't mind Italy winning because I'm sure that'd increase my chances of England dominating possession and having more passes.

10 games. Wow!

I will tail @stadus at his Denver Nuggets pick with just a different spread. A bit more greedy.  Grin
Washington Wizards - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-7.5) I know the Wizards are not to be underestimated but the Nuggets are also hungry after a bad 10 games record (5-5). They are the top seed, they must put fear in every team out there and show how strong they are.
Another reason for the Wizards being a heavy underdog is Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma missing this game.

I am going against the pick of @YuginKadoya in the Miami Heat versus New York Knicks game. I will pick the Miami Heat ML.
Not that I underestimate the Knicks but it seems like they are having a hard time adjusting after Brunson came back. Then, the Heat will try to force one more win to claim the 6th spot with 40 wins against 39 of the Brooklyn Nets.

Dallas Mavericks - Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors (-1.5) Mavs home. Luka in, Kyrie out. Both teams 4-6 out of their last 10 games.
This will be a tough match and I am not 100 percent sure the Warriors could snatch this one. The chances of this going in a close game or overtime may happen if the Mavs can match something against the splash brothers.

Minnesota Timberwolves - Atlanta Hawks - Minnesota Timberwolves (-3.5) Even without Anthony Edwards, the Twolves surprisingly won against the Knicks in a strong ending. I think they can also handle the Hawks with their tight defensive stand.

Good luck everyone.

Nice one, 2/4 won for you tonight, that's still quite, I lost all my bets for the night, Utah Jazz lost to Trailblazers and more surprisingly the red Chicago Bulls of the past few games ago became very ice cold and and couldn't even keep it close against 76ers, maybe I was just being naive and believed that they could extend winning run to 4 games.

Finally the Golden state warriors were able to win a road game against a really decent team in the Dallas Mavericks, the game was a very close one, but I felt the officials were quite bias against the warriors and there were some many none calls for them, and these are very obvious fouls, and there you have Luka Doncic complaining about every singe decision made by the referee, and despite being a great player, he's gradually becoming an irritant for me with that antics of his.

I've read some news about Ja Morant is going to come back tonight. It's not about being a fan or what but it's all about the potential odds and bets that we can take advantage of.

They'll be against Houston Rockets so, before it's too late cast your bets.

1.12 for Grizzlies

6.80 for Rockets.

The only bet that could worth it is the personal player props on Ja Morant, the Memphis Coach have already made it known that Ja Morant will only be starting from the bench, so it's yet to be known how many minutes he'll be getting and that could have effect on whether or not to go for the overs or unders, but regardless the coach said it will remain like that for the next couple of games, so if he doesn't get huge minutes here I'd expect the amount of minutes in their next games, but for tonight I have him on Over 5.5 assists with the hope he'd be very much less aggressive offensively and do more of facilitating the plays.

Never watched women's UCL, don't know if have a channel that is broadcasting that live. Where can we see today's game? I mean I have pretty much all sports channels so I must have it but I don't know where it is on  Grin

Dazn has it. World Cup was even fully free on Youtube (and I watched last season games free on youtube too, all in English, live, better quality than what I actually watch for men's  haha). Not sure if this season is the same on YT.

Score808.life does it literally all for me, they recent just stopped shoing NBA, but I think it'll be back, but anything football, they've got you, Even beyond your imagination, trust me. The only con is that the quality isn't extremely the best but if you're making use of a laptop or mobile, then you're very good to go.

I'm glad you didn't trust your female team, which is technically better than your male team.

Slight correction mate, the Bulls came from a three-game winning streak, not two because their last was against the Sixers which they won. Their games later will be a rematch of their match-up, so let's see if the Bulls can duplicate their performance against the Sixers who also looking forward to bounce back from their loss.

As a matter of fact, I'm betting on the side of Sixers -3.5 because I got a feeling that they will end the Bulls win streak although that's not easy to do on their side because the latter is thriving to have more wins to get themselves a spot in the playoffs.

I wouldn't not be betting against the Chicago Bulls right now, they look very solid and locked in, still fighting for a spot in the playoffs, so they've got more too play for than 76ers, so It's going to be De Rozan playing so very confident and determined for me right now.

I'm with the Bulls ML for tonight too.

else Utah Jazz against the short-manned Trailblazers is another locked pick for tonight too, No Nassir Little, Jerami Grant and Afernee Simons, that leaves the Blazers a little number options of left, that's Shaedon Sharpe and probably Cam Reddish taking up a larger role.

but don't count out Chelsea; we are one of the competition's biggest threats right now. C'om bro!!!

I'm not ruling out the possibility of Chelsea making it to the final or even lift the trophy, but saying you're one of the competition's biggest threat is an outright joke, If you ask me, in fact Chelsea are very lucky to have been drawn in their current bracket, I strongly don't believe the team would have made it out of the other Quarter/Semi final bracket, which is made up of Man City, Bayern and Real Madrid, and oh please, in advance, spare me all those few years ago talks or Chelsea beating Guardiola to trophy a few seasons ago, and instead live in the reality of the level of threat that Chelsea currently pose against any of those teams.

I agree with other tha's unfair that City and Bayern will face in 1/4 final already and that one side of bracket is significantly stronger than other. One of underdogs have great chance to reach final, though, probably it's not right to call Napoli or Benfica as underdogs when you see how they play.
Despite that I still would rule out Benfica from list of contenders. Guttmann curse is still alive

3 italian clubs in the QF - we haven't seen that one in a long time Grin
To be precise, it happened after 17 years.

Now there is a huge chances of at least an Italian team making the finals unless, of course Benfica decide to pull the massive stunt, but can they ?

However, as for the finals except Chelsea is able to make it pass Real Madrid and Bayern/Man City, I think the finals might just get a little bit one sided, I would have loved to see Bayern, Man City or Real Madrid on the other side of the draw, at least for spectating sake, why take all that away from us at just the quarters and semi-finals ?, how about a Real Madrid vs Bayern or vs Man City finals, that'd surely be worth every penny of the hype, but then I like chances that all teams involves seemed to have some how gotten a deserved or matching opponent.

It's amusing how you put Manchester City ahead of 2x CLs, 2x Europa Leagues, 2x UEFA Cups, 2x UEFA super Cup, 1x World-club cup. The disrespect to Chelsea, the second most successful English team in Europe in this competition, is getting out of hand, and we are going to prove the doubters wrong once more. In England, only Liverpool and Chelsea can talk about European trophies.

Manchester City is the only club without European trophies in the quarter finals, but they are hyped every season, lol UEFA is for kings, not boys, and Manchester should be more concerned about being drawn against the kings not Chelsea.
